미소경 드릴링 머신의 개발과 절삭현상의 연구 (A study on the Development of Micro Hole Drilling Machine and its Mechanism)

  • Micro Drills have found ever wider application. However micro drilling is a machining to integrate the difficult machinablities such as tool stiffness, position control and revolution accuracy, and is known to cost and time consuming. So, this study aimed to practice ultraminiature drilling(0.05 .phi. ) wiht simple component, if possible. System is developed as the three modules : feed drives, spindle and monitoring part. The dynamics of measured current signals from the spindle of Micro Hole Drilling machine are investigated to establish the criteria of stepfeed mechanism. Cutting experiments identify the relationship of spindle rpm, feed rate and tool life. The smaller drill diameter is, the more suitable cutting condition have to be selected because of chip packing.

  • The advanced technology of micro-machining is starting to penetrate our lives. This technology, with which it is possible to make micro-structures by means of processing on the order of nm (micrometer = 1/1,000 mm) or less, is realizing machines that were only part of our wildest imagination. However, the fact is that many issues remain in the quest for a variety of applications. With the advent of computing technologies, information technologies, and telecommunications technologies, we foresee the need for new approaches in design, process, and the use of materials, technologies, and people in a globalized manufacturing enterprise. A new thinking paradigm is needed to focus on quality of service on the products we design and manufacture. Factories in different regions need to be co-ordinated through use of the state-of-the-art information on productivity, diagnostics, and service evaluation of manufacturing systems could be shared among different locations and partners. In this research, We develope the internet based Diagnosis system for micro machining and evaluate its characteristics by using mechatronic sensor like Dynamometer, acoustic emission, Acceleration sensor, micro phone, vision, infra-red thermometer.

고속철도 터널에서의 미기압파 저감을 위한 모형실험 (The High-speed train model for reducing the micro-pressure wave in railway tunnel)

  • 본 연구는 미기압파 해석에 필요한 각종계수의 도출 및 해석결과의 신뢰성을 검증하기 위한 목적이 있다. 본 실험에 사용된 터널 주행 열차모형 실험 장치는 1/60축척으로 제작 되었으며, 열차는 KTX 차량 모델의 제원에 맞추어 10량 1편성으로 제작된 모형을 사용하였다. 터널의 다면적은 $107.9m^3$$95.1m^3$를 적용하고, 터널연장은 1km, 0.78km, 0.5km를 적용하였고, 열차속도는 275, 300, 325, 350km/h로 변화시켜 실험 하였다. 실험 장치는 유압발사 시스템으로 열차모델 유압 발사기터널모델 제동장치로 구성된다. 모형열차의 속도는 터널입구 전방 및 출구 부 갱구에서 각각 1.2m지점에서 설치한 속도 감지기에 의해서 측정되며, 터널 내부의 압력변동은 압력센서를 터널의 입구, 중앙, 출구부에 설치하여 연속적으로 측정 하였다. 측정결과 터널입구에서 발생한 압력파의 압력기울기는 터널을 전파하면서 비선형효과에 의해서 증가하거나 확산작용에 의해서 압력기울기가 감소하는 것을 알 수 있었고, 미기압파 저감 대책을 위해 터널입구에 종류별 각각 설치하여 출구부에서 발생되는 미기압파를 비교분석하여보았다.

  • 본 논문은 과학기술위성2호 핵심우주기술시험용 탑재체인 고 정밀 디지털 태양센서의 개발에 관한 것이다. 고 정밀 디지털 태양센서는 국내 최초의 디지털 태양센서로서 CMOS image sensor를 이용한다. FDSS는 광학부, FPGA(Field Programable Gate Array)부 및 MCU(Micro controller unit)부로 구성되어있다. 본 논문에서는 구경(Aperture)의 설계와 관련된 광학부의 광학특성 분석에 중점을 두어 기술하고자 한다. 또한 CMOS image sensor(CIS) 화소 면에 투사되는 태양광의 광학적 특성도 분석한다.

Micro-computed tomography evaluation of the effects of orthodontic force on immature maxillary first molars and alveolar bone mineral density of Sprague-Dawley rats

  • Objective: To investigate changes in the immature teeth of Sprague-Dawley rats during orthodontic treatment and to explore the changes in the peri-radicular alveolar bone through micro-computed tomography (CT). Methods: Twenty-five 26-day-old male Sprague-Dawley rats were included. The maxillary left first molar was moved mesially under a continuous force of 30 cN, and the right first molar served as the control. After orthodontic treatment for 7, 14, 21, 28, and 42 days, the root length, tooth volume, and alveolar bone mineral density (BMD) around the mesial root were measured through micro-CT. Results: The immature teeth continued to elongate after application of orthodontic force. The root length on the force side was significantly smaller than that on the control side, whereas the differences in the volume change between both sides were not statistically significant. Alveolar bone in the coronal part of the compression and tension sides showed no difference in BMD between the experimental and control groups. The BMD of the experimental group decreased from day 14 to day 42 in the apical part of the compression side and increased from day 7 to day 42 in the apical part of the tension side. The BMD of the experimental group decreased in the root apex part on day 7. Conclusions: The root length and volume of immature teeth showed continued development under orthodontic forces. Alveolar bone resorption was observed on the compression side, and bone formation was observed on the tension side.

  • For reaserching the factors of plants micro-distribution, accumulation of 5 minerals-total-nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and calcium-for 19 plant species was investigated in reclaimed land, in western coast of Korea, In the five minerals, sodium contents were quite different among the species.   • 최근, Microprocessor가 염가로 입수가능함에 따라 광범위한 분야에 걸쳐서 사용되고 있다. microprocessor를 유효하게 사용하면 컴퓨터 시스템의 설계가 용이해진다. 이 논문에서는 MMI-6701을 사용하여 NOVA의 Emulator를 설계 하였으며 연구의 성과로서는 NOVA를 Microprocessor로 대치하므로서 IC의 수가 약 3분의 1로 대치할 수 있었고, 또 Emulator의 효율화를 위하여 PROM의 Micro명령은 32bit로서 구성하여 4종류의 명령형식으로 설계 되였다. In recent years, Microprocessor have the use of extended wide fiexd because of obtainable to low price. Design of computer system be easy to do by this microprocessor apply validly. This Papers: NOVA Emulator designed by use of MMI-6701. As a result of this studies, quantity of IC changed with about a third part by NOVA exchanged with Microprocessor. Micro Instruction of PROM consist of 32bit that designed Instruction Format of four kinds.

  • This study analyzed the variations in the performance and operation of a 200 kW class micro gas turbine according to performance degradation of compressor and turbine. An in-house code, developed by the present authors and presented in the first part of these series of papers, were used for the analysis. The degradation of compressor and turbine were simulated by modifications in the their performance maps: mass flow rate, pressure ratio and efficiency were decreased from the reference values. Firstly, the variations in the operating conditions (air flow rate, pressure ratio) were predicted for the full load condition. Then, the same analysis were performed for a wide partial load operating range. The change in engine's performance (power output and efficiency) due to the component degradation was predicted. In addition, the change in the compressor surge margin, which is an important indicator for safe engine operation, was evaluated.

  • Reliability means that a product maintains its initial quality and performance at a certain period of time (time, distance, cycle etc) under given condition without failure. The given conditions include both environmental condition and operating condition. Environmental condition means a common natural environment such as temperature, humidity, vibration, and working condition means an artificial environment such as voltage, current load, place for installment, and hours of use, which occurs during the life of the product. In the field of railway vehicles, it is mandatory to use a part with the proved reliability as the extension of the life of vehicle become highly necessary. But the reliable assessment method for the reliability of the part is insufficient. If the reliability of the railway vehicle parts could be assessed by using the field data, the reliability of the entire system could also be evaluated reliably. In this study, life span of micro-switch for master controller is analyzed and prediction is performed based on its field data given by an operator considering the special circumstances of railway vehicles such as the operation of a large number of trains on the same line.

  • An experimental study on geometric optimization was conducted to develop a hybrid/dual swirl jet combustor for a micro-gas turbine. A hybrid concept indicating a combination of swirling jet partially premixed and premixed flames were adopted to achieve high flame stability as well as clean combustion. Location of pilot nozzle, angle and direction of swirl vane were varied as main parameters with a constant fuel flow rate for each nozzle. The results showed that the variation in location of pilot nozzle resulted in significant change in swirl intensity due to the change in flow area near burner exit, and thus, optimized nozzle location was determined on the basis of CO and NOx emissions under conditions of co-swirl flow and swirl $angle=30^{\circ}$. The increase in swirl angle (from $30^{\circ}$ to $45^{\circ}$) enhanced the emission performances, in particular, with a significant reduction of CO emission near lean-flammability limit. It was observed that the CO emission near lean-flammability limit was further reduced through the counter-swirl flow. However, there was not significant change in the NOx emission in the operating conditions (i.e. equivalence ratio of 0.6~0.7) between the co- and the counter-swirl flow.
