Research of Collaboration Environment for Mobile Devices(PDAs) (모바일 디바이스들의 협업환경에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구에서는 모바일 장치 중 하나인 PDA와 센서를 이용해 수행할 수 있는 시나리오를 작성하고, 이를 이용해 구현할 수 있는 PDA 기반의 협업환경을 제안한다. 센서그룹에서의 정보수집, 센서그룹으로부터 PDA로의 정보전달, 정보를 가진 다수의 PDA들이 네트워크를 구성하여, 서로 정보를 공유하고, 그 정보를 활용하는 방법을 보인다. 본 환경에서 시나리오 수행을 위해 사용된 센서는 환경정보센서(MICA2)와 위치정보센서(Cricket System)이며, 각각의 센서 그룹을 구성하여 동작한다. PDA들 간의 네트워크는 TMO 스킴을 적용하여 정보를 전파 및 협업하기 위한 구조를 채택했다. 마지막으로 센서네트워크와 연동된 PDA들이 협업환경을 구성함으로써 가능한 서비스들을 제시하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 센서네트워크에서 키 관리 및 안전한 채널을 통한 개체 인증, 메시지의 기밀성 및 무결성을 보장하는 프로토콜을 제안한다. 제안된 프로토콜은 레벨기반의 트리 라우팅 프로토콜을 지원하여 외부 공격, 노드 실패, 그리고 노트 전복에 대하여 강인하며, 노드 상호간의 통신을 위하여 경량 키 관리 알고리즘을 사용하였다. 또한, In-networking 프로세싱을 통해 Data-aggregation 과 Trusted-delivery 메커니즘을 적용하여 가볍고, 견고한 특성을 지니고 있다. 제안된 프로토콜은 TinyOS/Mica 플래폼을 기반으로 TinySec 과 함께 구현된 결과를 제시한다.

Microstructure Analysis of Large Turbine Generator Stator Insulations (대형 터빈발전기 고정자 권선의 미세구조 분석)

  • Large turbine generator(rated 22kV) has failed in the stator winding area during normal operation. The capacitance and tan${\delta}$ were measured by Schering bridge in the zone 1, 2 and zone 3-6 stator windings. The capacitance and tan${\delta}$ in the zone 1, 2 of stator winding were higher than those of zone 3-6 in the stator winding. Experiments on microstructure property were conducted in the zone 1, 2 and zone 3-6 insulations, which were drawn out from stator windings of the large turbine generator. Microstructure analysis was characterized using scanning electron microscope(SEM). SEM results indicated that several isolated delaminations occurred at the interface of mica/epoxy insulations. Both thermal and mechanical aging cause the delamination.

  • The high aluminous meta-claystones are thinly bedded to metasedimentary rocks which belong to Chununsan Formation. Major high aluminous minerals in the ores ae andalusite, kaolinite and pyrophyllite. The other significant constituents are sericite, chloritoid and carbonaceous material, etc. Ores can be classified into 4 types according to mineral compositions; andalusite- kolinite-sericite, andalusite-kaolinite-chloritoid, kaolinite-sericite-pyrophyllite, and kaolinite-chloritoid-sericite ore. The formation of ore minerals are resulted from sedimentary, diagenetic, metamorphic and hydrothermal processes. Andalusite are formed by low-grade metamorphism under the conditions of $400~500^{\circ}C$ and below 4kb, from the view-point of mineral stability field, illite-mica crystallinity and graphitization degree of the carbonaceous material. Andalusites are partly altered to kaolinite, forming major mineral phase in the ores.

  • Mineralogy of sand, silt and clay fractions from the five chronosequence soils of Jeju Island is studied with the X-ray, TEM and SEM techniques. Soils of Songag and Donghong situated at lower elevations are generally developed on relatively of ash or alluvial deposits and contain mainly ferromagnesian minerals and feldspars, with some quartz, mica and volcanic glass. Crystalline minerals are dominant in the clay fraction; halloysite and vermiculite are abundant but small amounts of allophane are present. Clay migration results in well developed ferrigargillan, Soils of Pyeongdae and Heugag located at higher elevations are developed on relatively young volcanic ash with some contamination of continental aeolian dust probably containing quartz which may be come from acid ash shower. The absence of clay illuivation is due to the dominance of allophane. This clay mineral is associated with some gibbsite, imogolite and halloysite.

  • Kwangju granite body located in vicinity of Kwangju city consist of three rock bodies-Kwangju rock body, Jangsung rock body and Youngkwang rock body. Petrochemistry of Kwangju granite is as follows: Kwangju granite body is igneous complex which compose of a series of differential products of a magma. Kwangju granites are divided into four rock facies based on the geologic age, mineralogical and chemical constituents and texture: Triassic hornblende-biotite granodiorite and biotite granite, and Jurassic porphyritic granite and two mica granite. Harker and other variation diagrams of Kwangju granites plot on trend of calc-alkali rock series and range of peraluminous granite. Parental magma type of Kwangju granites correspond to I-type, Syn-Collision type in compressive stress field by collision movement between both rock block. In chondrite normalized REE patterns of Kwangju grnites, LREE enriched than HREE in REE amount and have more steep negative slope with slightly (-) Eu anormaly.

  • 본 논문에서는 수동형 위치 판별 시스템의 대표적인 음원위치 판별 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 무선 센서 네트워크에 최적화 되어있으며, 일반적인 무선 센서 네트워크에서 사용되는 노드와 마이크만 요구되며 추가적인 장비를 필요로 하지 않는다. 제안하는 시스템은 동일한 노드에 분산된 알고리즘을 이용하여 각 노드는 이벤트 발생시에 동적으로 추정 Grid를 생성한 후 이 Grid를 이용하여 추정치를 산정하고 이를 종합하여 최종적으로 2차원 평면에서의 음원의 위치를 판별한다. 제안하는 시스템의 위치판별 알고리즘은 Range-free방식으로 생성된 Grid를 각 노드가 음파를 감지한 시각을 바탕으로 영역별로 근사한다. 시스템은 실제 MicaZ 노드에 구현되었으며 제한된 하드웨어와 자원만을 바탕으로 높은 복잡도를 지니는 음원탐지시스템을 구축하였다.

  • Fluid inclusion study reveals that the mineralogical zonal distribution of the Sangdong skarn orebody may be likely related to (homogenization) temperatures of fluids with time and spaces. Firstly limestone beds were replaced by hot boiling fluids ranging from 350 to $550^{\circ}C$ and formed the pyroxene-garnet skarn, which was replaced into the amphibole and the quartz-mica skarns by non-boiling fluids at 300 to $500^{\circ}C$, mainly penetrated the central part of the pyroxene-garnet skarn orebody. Freezing tests identify presence of $CaCl_2$ and $MaCl_2$ as brines in the fluids besides NaCl and KCL that are shown as daughter minerals and show that two or more fluids be involved in mineralization by showing a bimodal distribution of salinities. This study has contributed to find a new orebody and a granitic pluton as a source rock.

The experimental study of $\gamma$ ray irradiation effect on electrical properties of B-kind insulator ($\gamma$선조사에 의한 B종절연재료의 전기적 특성변화에 대한 실험적 연구)

  • The main focus of this paper is on the study of the .gamma. ray irradiation effect upon the electrical properties of a B-kind insulator which is one of the inorganic insulators. The mica is so typical of the B kind insulators as to be selected for a sample. DC, AC, and Impulse voltage is applied to the variable .gamma. ray irradiated dose samples with the constant time duration and the time variable samples with the .gamma. ray irradiated dose. The dielectric breakdown voltage and dielectric constant are measured from the samples and we get the experimental data that the dielectric breakown voltage variations are relatively large, but the dielectric constants are almost constant. The above conclusion is useful for the selection and application of the inorganic insulators under the irradiation effects, and we expect that the conclusion can apply to not only B-kind insulators but also the inorganic insulators.

Effective Ozone Generation Utilizing a Slit Barrier (틈새 장벽을 이용한 효과적인 오존 발생)

  • In this paper a new wire-wire discharge system with a slit dielectric harrier has been proposed, and, its corona discharge and ozone generation characteristics have been investigated experimentally. When the slit mica barrier is installed between corona wires, instead of the grounded plate electrode, a significant increase in the generation of ozone, about 2.2 times higher than that of the conventional ones without the slit harrier, could be obtained. Photographs show that this type of discharge system with a slit barrier was found to produce a corona discharge twice, once from the upper and bottom corona wires, and. again from both sides of surfaces and slits of the slit barrier. As a result, the proposed discharge system has the potential to increase significantly ozone production and it may be useful as an effective means for removing pollutant gases.
