사각단면 금속곡관 제품의 열간압출 굽힘가공에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Hot Metal Extrusion Bending Process for the Rectangular Curved Tube)

  • The bending process for the rectangular curved tube can be developed by the hot metal extrusion machine with the multiple punches moving in the different velocity. The bending phenomenon can be controlled by the two variables, the one of them is the difference of velocity at the die exit section by the different velocity of billets through the multi-hole container. The other is the difference by the different hole diameter. The results of the experiment show that the rectangular curved tube can be formed by the extrusion process and that the curvature of the curved product can be controlled by the velocity of punch and the diameter of container hole and that the defects such as the distortion of section and the thickness change of the wall of tube and the folding and wrinkling of thin tube did not happen after the bending processing by the extrusion bending machine.

  • A design methodology is applied for manufacturing a disk-brake piston component and a washing machine container. The design criteria are the limit drawing ratio and the forging load within the available press limit. Also, the final product should not have any geometrical defect. The rigid-plastic and elastic-plastic FEM have been applied to simulate both of the conventional manufacturing processes, respectively, which include deep drawing and forging process. Simulations of one stage process from a selected stock to the final product shape are performed for generating information on additional requirements for metal flow. The best manufacturing processes are selected, which is using a hemispherical punch in the deep drawing process for both disk-brake piston component and washing machine container.

  • 글로벌 물류에 있어 핵심 중의 하나인 화물 컨테이너의 위치와 봉인 여부 등의 상태 정보를 항만, 야적장, 선박 등의 적치 환경에서 실시간으로 전달하기 위해서는 우선 Ad-Hoc 네트워크 통신 기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 금속 재질로 된 음영 환경 등의 제약사향을 가지고 컨테이너의 잦은 이동이 이루어지는 항만이나 야적장에 적합한 컨테이너 네트워크의 라우팅 프로토콜을 제안한다. 각각의 정보가 싱크 노드로 신뢰성 있게 전달되면서도 잦은 가입/이탈에 대응할 수 있는 간단한 메시 네트워크 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 경유노드가 문제가 생기자마자 대체 경로를 제공하고 주변 노드에게 알림으로써 즉각적인 최적경로를 유지한다 대체 경로 제공 기능을 가진 대표적 무선 Ad-Hoc 라우팅 프로토콜인 AODV와 시뮬레이션을 통한 성능을 비교하였다. 비교 결과, 제안한 라우팅 프로토콜이 가입/이탈이 빈번하고 링크 품질이 자주 변하는 환경에서 더 나은 성능을 가졌음을 확인하였다.

  • In conventional automatic container-terminal, the gantry cranes are operated manually or semi-automatically. But UGC is an unmanned-operated gantry crane and the positioning information for UGC is supplied only by position-measuring devices. In order to enhance the operation efficiency of UGC, it is required that the position-measuring devices have long maintenance period and are not sensitive to the weather and environment condition. And in order to be used practically in container terminal, the cost of position-measuring devices is not higher than currently used measuring devices. In the study, it is discussed the requirements for position-measuring devices in UGC, And it is studied on the measuring devices suitable to UGC. From this study, it is expected that the combination of a rotary encoder and a ferrous metal detector is useful for position-measuring devices in UGC.

친환경 골판지 상자 제조를 위한 재활용 폐지 섬유의 물리적·환경적 특성 평가 (Fiber Analysis and Environmental Assessment of Recycled Waste paper for Eco-friendly Corrugated Box Manufacture)

  • In the manufacture of corrugated box, the fibrous raw materials are mainly consisted of recycled papers, such as KOCC(Korean Old Corrugated Container), kraft sack, and AOCC(American Old Corrugated Container). Among these recycled waste paper, the proportion of KOCC is relatively higher than others in fibrous raw materials. Generally, KOCC shows some poor fiber properties and contains hazardous heavy metal sources. Therefore, it is to evaluate the property of recycled paper sources for eco-friendly corrugated box manufacture. In this study, the physical and mechanical properties of 3 kinds of recycled fibers and their mixed stocks were analyzed. The environmental assessment was also evaluated by analyzing the 4 representative heavy metal contents and evaporation residues in waste papers. As the results, KOCC showed the poorest fiber qualities and had the highest heavy metal contents and evaporation residues among the recycled fibers. Finally, the mechanical strength properties were increased by decreasing KOCC proportion of mixed stock conditions. In addition, the heavy metal contents and evaporation residues were also decreased by increasing recycled AOCC and kraft sack proportion.

  • 철골 구조물의 발파해체에 사용하는 성형폭약은 국내외 대부분의 경우에 사용이 제한적이거나 수급이 불가능하여 적용하지 못하는 경우가 많이 발생한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 산업용 폭약을 사용하여 금속 제트가 발생할 수 있는 장치가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 금속 제트가 발생하는 강재 절단용 장약용기를 제작하였다. 절단 성능 실험을 통해 두께 25mm의 강판에 대한 장약용기의 절단 성능을 평가하였다. 또한 침투 과정 수치 모사와 절단 성능 실험에서의 결과를 비교하고, 두께 35mm와 70mm의 강판에 대한 절단 성능을 평가하였다.

훈증제 sulfuryl fluoride ($SO_2F_2$)의 궐련벌레(Lasioderma serricorne, Fabricius)에 대한 방제효과 및 몇 가지 금속류 성상에 미치는 영향 (Mortality of Cigarette Beetle, Lasioderma serricorne, Fabricius (Coleoptera : Anobiidae) and Corrosion of Metals as Influenced by Sulfuryl fluoride ($SO_2F_2$))

  • Insecticidal effect or sulfuryl fluoride ($SO_2F_2$) to cigarette beetle, Lasiodema serricorne (F.), was studied in two different containers, one was 1m$^3$(without cardboard block) and the other was 0.5m$^3$(with cardboard block). Adults and larvae were transferred into a small metal can before placed in the containers. Each can was held for 8, 24, 48, 72, and 96 hours after $SO_2F_2$(10, 20, 30, and 40 g/$\ell$) treatment. All adults were killed in an 1m$^3$container. Larval mortality was 99 to 100% when the dosage of SO$_2$F$_2$was 10 and 20 g/$\ell$. Cardboard was attached between two 0.5m$^3$ containers ; one was fumigation area and the other was insect area. SO$_2$F$_2$ penetrated cardboard within 24 hours in most trials. $SO_2F_2$could affect all adults and larvae regardless of their susceptibility. All adults were killed at 8 hours in a 0.5m$^3$ container. But low mortality of larvae was recorded at 8 hours when small dosage was treated (30% in 10 g/$\ell$, 87.2% in 20 g/$\ell$). The mortality was increased as SO$_2$F$_2$ dosage increased. Six different metals (stainless, copper, brass, aluminum, iron, and zinc) were also tested to study metal corrosion and discoloration. No corrosion and discoloration was observed in most metals treated with $SO_2F_2$.
