기록 관리 메타데이터 스키마는 기록물 자체에 내재한 정보 요소뿐만 아니라, 기록 업무에 따른 기록물의 생명 주기 관리 등에 필요한 관리 요소를 표현할 수 있는 강고한 구조를 가져야 한다. 이를 위해서 메타데이터 스키마에서는 기록 도메인의 정보 모델과, 기록 관리 업무 및 응용에서 요구되는 의미 상세화와 데이터 요소 특수화 등을 지원하는 메타데이터 프레임워크가 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 메타데이터 스키마의 주요 원리와 특성을 분석하여, 기록 관리 메타데이터 스키마를 체계적이고 효과적으로 개발하기 위한 접근 방식을 제시한다. 이를 위해 ISO 15489와 23081에 제시된 기록 관리 지침과 메타데이터 운용에 근거한 기록 관리 정보 모델을 개발하고 핵심 데이터 요소를 제시하였으며, 기록 관리 프레임워크를 구현하는 방법을 보였다.

ISO 15489:2001 addresses the principles and requirements with which organizations, both public and private, should comply on the management of their records to ensure that adequate records are created, captured and managed. The standard defines the characteristics that a record should have through records management system as follows: authenticity, reliability, integrity, and usability. Authenticity means that records can be proven to be what it purports to be, to have been created or sent by the person purported to have created or sent it, and to have been created or sent at the time purported. Reliability means that the contents of the records can be trusted as a full and accurate representation of the transactions, activities or facts to which they attest and can be depended upon in the course of subsequent transactions or activities. Integrity refers to ensuring that a record is complete and unaltered. Usability means that records can be located, retrieved, presented and interpreted. In order to have these characteristics, a record should be persistently linked to the metadata necessary to document a transaction. Metadata is "data describing context, content and structure of records and their management through time." Metadata ensure the creation and maintenance of authentic, reliable and usable records and the protection of the integrity of those records. It could be implemented by creating and capturing records management metadata in systems that create and manage records. There have been some projects and standard initiatives to identify a core set of records management metadata. Included are the Australian Recordkeeping Metadata Standard and the British Metadata Standard which is part of the Requirements for Electronic Records Management System. Recently ISO/TS 23081-1 is published to implement metadata requirements within the framework of ISO 15489. Public records management system in Korea is ruled by the Act on the Management of Archives by Public Agencies and Administrative Records Management Regulation. This article evaluates records and their descriptive elements captured and maintained by the records management system in Korea on the basis of the international metadata standards.

Managing electronic medical record is very difficult, because the currently electronic medical system is not designed standard that is uniform and proper. In this paper, in order to overcome this situation, we propose meta-data for the management of the electronic medical record as a single system. To this end, we first analyzed the research on electronic medical records and related standards. Second, we, on the basis of the analysis result, abstracted electronic medical record and entities related on electronic medical, and we designed an entity-relationship model. And finally, we have to complete the meta-data through the setting attributes in this entity-relationship model. Through this study, it was possible that we can complete metadata highly expressive medical records, and suggest an alternative for problem of current medical records systems.

전자기록의 생산이 보편화되어가면서 종이기록 중심의 기록관리는 많은 변화를 요구받고 있다. 전자기록의 내용 맥락 구조정보를 어느 시점에 어떠한 방법으로 확보하여 기록의 증거성 진본성 신뢰성을 보존할 것인가가 기록관리에 있어서 주요한 이슈로 제기되고 있으며, 이러한 논의의 중심에 기록관리 메타데이터가 있다. 이 글은 기록관리 라이프사이클 중 현용 준현용 단계에서 요구되는 기록관리 메타데이터를 정립하는데 목적이 있다. 현용 준현용 단계에 주목하는 이유는 기록의 진본성을 '업무활동의 증거'라는 측면에서 이해하고자 하는 것과 관련이 있다. 기록이 업무맥락 가운데서 생산되고 관리의 영역으로 획득되는 시기가 현용과 준현용 단계이며, 이때 기록의 진본성을 획득하고 유지시키는데 중요한 역할을 하는 것이 기록관리 메타데이터이기 때문이다. 이 글에서는 기록관리 메타데이터를 체계적으로 설계하기 위한 방법으로서, 기록의 생산에 관여하는 엔티티간의 관계를 규명하고 이를 설명하기 위한 데이터 모델의 수립을 통하여 메타데이터 요소를 제안하였다.

본 연구에서는 실무적용 관점에서 중요한 기준인 메타데이터 개발기준, 메타데이터 구성과 메타데이터 서비스, 그리고 메타데이터 적용요건, 디지털도서관 시스템의 메타데이터 개발사례 등을 연구범위로 선정하여 최근 10년(1999-2009)간 국내 메타데이터 주제의 학술지 논문과 학위논문 등을 조사하고 내용을 분석하여 최신의 연구동향을 파악하고 그에 따른 취약한 부분을 진단했다.

오늘날 이메일은 사회적으로 널리 사용되는 보편적인 통신수단이 되었다. 공공기관에서 기관 내 의견 교환은 물론 외국과의 교류와 통상문제, 타 기관이나 기업, 단체 등과의 관계에서 중요한 통신 수단으로 쓰이고 있다. 또한 전자 정부를 지향하는 추세에서 이메일은 국민과 접촉하는 일차적인 수단이 되고 있다. 그러나 우리나라는 아직 이메일을 공식적인 기록으로 인정하고 있지 않고 이메일 관리를 위한 어떤 지침도 제공하고 있지 않다. 이메일은 전자 기록의 한 형태이며 공공 업무를 위해 사용되었다면 기록으로서 획득되고 관리되어야 하고, 획득 관리하기 위해서는 필요한 메타데이터 요소를 규정하는 것이 필수적이다. 따라서 본고의 최종적인 목적은 이메일 기록의 획득 시 확보해야할 메타데이터 요소를 제안함으로써 우리나라 이메일 기록관리의 기초를 제공하는데 있다.

본 연구는 스포츠 영상기록물의 효과적인 관리 검색 활용을 목적으로 다중개체 모형을 기반으로 하여 메타데이터 요소들을 제안하였다. 스포츠 영상기록이 가진 특성을 표현하고 풍부한 맥락 정보를 제공하기 위하여 스포츠 경기, 경기 참여자, 영상기록, 기록관리업무의 네 가지 개체들을 선정하였으며, 각 개체에 해당하는 메타데이터 요소들을 추출하였다. 또한 스포츠 인물 및 팀에 대한 용어에 일관성을 유지하고 보다 상세한 정보를 제공하고자 인물과 팀에 대한 전거레코드를 제안하였다. 제안된 다중개체 모형과 메타데이터 요소들, 그리고 스포츠 인물 및 팀 전거레코드는 체육학과 교수들과 스포츠 마케팅 전문가로 이루어진 전문가 집단과의 면담을 통해서 검정되었고 수정, 확대되었다.

본 연구는 문헌사를 대치하는 구술사에 관하여 기록물로서의 중요성을 제시하면서 구술사 기록물을 구조화 할 수 있는 표준 메타데이터 모형과 설계 요소를 개발 하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 구술사 기록의 내용과 형태를 정보원으로 표현할 수 있는 표준 메타데이터 기술 요소를 분석하였으며, 디지털 구술 아카이빙 구축을 위하여 프로젝트, 관리, 레코드 그리고 관련 레코드 영역으로 메타데이터 모델링을 설계 하였다. 또한 기본 요소와 세부 요소, 구분 요소의 설계 원칙에 의하여 실제 구술사 기록물을 대상으로 구현을 통해 적용 해 보았다.

The storage and retrieval of multimedia data is becoming increasingly important in many application areas including record management, video(CCTV) management and Internet of Things (IoT). In these applications, the files containing multimedia that need to be stored and managed is tremendous and constantly scaling. In this paper, we propose a technique to retrieve a very large number of files, in multimedia format, using the Hadoop Framework. Our strategy is based on the management of metadata that describes the characteristic of files that are stored in Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS). The metadata schema is represented in Hbase and looked up using SQL On Hadoop (Hive, Tajo). Both the Hbase, Hive and Tajo are part of the Hadoop Ecosystem. Preliminary experiment on multimedia data files stored in HDFS shows the viability of the proposed strategy.

최근, 웹을 이용한 기록정보의 유통과 이용이 증가하고, 정보적 활용 가치가 제고되어 웹사이트를 이용한 기록정보서비스가 기록관의 중요업무로 부각되고 있다. 웹을 이용한 기록정보서 비스의 핵심은 이용자가 원하는 기록정보의 검색을 용이하게 하는데 있다. 검색을 용이하게 하기 위해서는 검색시스템의 기본 메커니즘인 이용자질의와 기록정보표현의 매칭의 정확성이 요구된다. 이를 위해 기록정보 관리자들은 다양한 정보표현 도구를 이용하고 있지만, 이용자들은 여전히 정보검색 과정에서 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이를 개선하기 위해 본 연구에는 기록물의 기술정보 메타데이타를 중심으로 정보자원을 구조화하여 이용자 질의의 접근점을 확장하고, 의미있는 매칭을 통해 지식자원화된 검색결과값을 제공하기 위해 토픽맵 기반의 기록정보 검색시스템을 구축하고자 한다. 구축대상은 웹사이트를 이용하는 불특정 이용자이며, 구축범위는 국가기록포탈의 기록자원 중 대통령 기록물로 선정하였다. 구축단계는 다음과 같다. 1)기록물의 기술정보 메타데이타를 중심으로 토픽맵 기반의 기록정보서비스를 위한 온톨로지 모델을 설계한다. 2)설계한 온톨로지 모델을 바탕으로 국가기록포탈에서 추출한 정보자원목록을 에디터를 이용해 토픽맵으로 반입하여 검색시스템으로 구현한다. 3)구축된 검색시스템의 사용자 인터페이스에서 테스트질의를 통해 토픽맵기반 검색시스템의 특징을 확인하고 그 의미를 평가한다. 최종적으로, 의미적 추론에 의한 연관 네비게이션검색을 확인하고, 분산된 기록정보자원 간의 연계된 결과값을 통해 지식자원화의 가능성도 제시한다.
