지하 관 시설물과 인접한 소규모 단면 터널의 발파굴착 사례 (Blast Excavation of Small Diameter Tunnel near Underground pipe lines)

  • 메사쉴드공법은 주로 풍화토 또는 풍화암 구간의 소규모 굴착단면에 적용되며 대부분 인력굴착으로 이루어지나 막장면에 암반이 노출되면 유압력을 이용한 할암공법이나 발파공법의 적용이 불가피하다. 본 연구에서는 메사쉴드공법이 적용된 소규모 굴착단면 터널에서 터널상부에 상수도관 및 가스관 등이 근접되고, 강도가 높은 암반 노출로 인해 할암공법 대신에 125g의 최소장약량으로 심발공에서 초기진동을 제어하는 발파공법을 소규모 굴착단면 터널에 적용한 사례이다.

  • The tunnel excavations are used for construction of common utility tunnel, electric tunnel, communication line tunnel, water supply and public sewerage pile line in urban area. The trench cut methods were mainly used in the past, but now, tunneling method is more being used. The tunnel excavation method like as NATM, Messer-Shield, Semi-Shield Methods are being applied to small section tunnel in Korea. The actual construction results of seme-shield method are increasing due to simplified construction process and reduced noise and vibration. And also this method is being used frequently in waterway tunnel and construction of prevention flooding recently. The seme-shield method design guideline is absence except for electric line tunnel construction in Korea, because of the semi-shield method was developed in Europe and Japan. In the prescriptive design, engineer's subjects are tending to intervene, because of absence of standard and specification for details. Therefore, Design and Construction Problems of Semi-Shield Method were described and construction trouble was introduced for exam. These problem and construction troubles have to be examined thoroughly in advance.

토조실험과 수치해석을 이용한 막장면 그라우팅 DSM공법의 안정성 검토 (Inspecting Stablity of DSM method with Grouting on Tunnel Face using Chamber Test and Numericlal Analysis)

  • 도심지에서는 고도의 경제성장과 더불어 증가되는 교통량을 수용하기 위하여 도로와 철도 신설에 따른 지하터널 공사가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 지하공간 개발에서는 토사터널 구간이 많을 수 있고 이에 따른 막장 및 천단부 안정성을 고려한 여러 공법들이 개발 적용되고 있다. 그 중 최근에 적용예가 많은 공법으로 DSM(divided shield method)를 들 수 있는데, 이는 Messer Shield 공법에 근간을 두고 있으며, Messer Shield 공법의 장점을 흡수하고 문제점을 개선하여 안정성 및 시공성을 크게 개선한 비개착 특수터널 공법이다. 이 연구에서는 DSM 공법에서 터널 막장면 그라우팅이 터널의 시공성 향상에 미치는 영향을 대형 토조와 수치해석을 수행하여 검토하였다. 실제도로 크기의 1/2인에 해당하는 터널을 모사하기 위한 토조를 제작하여 실험 수행하였다. 또한 MIDAS GTS를 사용하여 수치해석 분석을 통해 DSM모사 토조의 지반 거동과 비교하였다. 터널 표면 침하와 안정성을 단계별 굴착을 통해 측정하였으며, 수치해석과 비교분석하였다. 연구 결과 그라우팅을 통한 막장 안정을 지표의 침하뿐만 아니라 터널 각 부재의 응력은 모두 안정성 범위에 들어가 있었으며, 이를 통하여 DSM 공법의 기술을 개선하고 터널의 안정성 및 시공성 향상을 기대할 수 있는 기초자료를 확보하였다.

  • Recently, it is used to join an building to an underground shopping-area in urban. When we construct Seo-Cho Complex building which is in Seoul, we also construct an underground passage to the Gangnam underground shopping-area. But it is difficult to excavate in the downtown area, because excavations induce traffic jam and public discontent. Considering safety, a confined area, settlements, we decided to use DSM(Divided Shield Method) which is based on messer shield. This paper will produce our experience and the results provide a useful guide in a connection tunnel

The advantages of adopting RPS(roof panel shield) method in crossing tunnel construction with comparing other existing cross tunnelling method are needed a little space and easy to change the direction of cutting shoe during the construction of pipe roof. The numerical analysis of RPS was performed for the application in the crossing tunnel under railroad. The earth pressure distribution and settlement were predicted when the RPS method was applied during the excavation for crossing railroad tunnel construction.

  • Recently, the crossing tunnel has been constructed frequently to connect the separated area by highway and railroad. The construction of crossing tunnel must be progressed while maintaining the existing traffic of the highway as well as railroad. There are many cross funnelling methods such as NTR, TRCM, Messer Shield, Front Jacking, and Pipe Roof Method. The advantages of adopting RPS(Roof Panel Shield) method in crossing tunnel construction with comparing other existing cross funnelling methods are needed a little volume of concrete and easy to change the direction of cutting shoe during the construction of pipe roof, The 3-dimensional numerical analysis of RPS to consider the arching effect was performed for the application in the crossing tunnel under railroad. The earth pressure distribution and settlement were predicted when the RPS method was applied during the excavation for crossing railroad tunnel construction.

직접 PC슬래브설치를 통한 철도지하횡단 공법의 적용 연구 (Railway Underground Crossing Method Using PC Slab)

  • Existing grade crossings between railway and roadway area gradually changed to grade separation systems by the law. In the case of new roadway construction which crosses railways, it shall be grade separation system in principle. With the railway underground crossing method, many practices have been developed which can minimize rail displacements and avoid rail release. With these methods, the effects to the train can be reduced. The underground crossing methods can be identified as open-cut methods and non open-cut methods. The open-cut methods include temporary support methods and special rail construction methods. Also the non open-cut methods includes pipe roof methods, front jacking methods, messer shield methods, NTR methods and JES methods. Among these, the most suitable method is applied considering safety, economy, class of each rail system (train passing frequency and velocity), etc. In the non open-cut methods, the cost and duration shall be increased to keep existing rail system during construction. In the open-cut methods which use plate girders, the rail speed shall be restricted due to the displacement and vibration of the girder. In this study new grade separation methods were developed. With this method, the safety during construction can be increased. This method refines temporary support methods, but pc slab girder with huge stiffness is applied instead of plate girders. With this method, the rail displacement can be reduced and higher safety can be obtained during construction. Also construction cost and duration can be minimized because the temporary work and the overburden soil depth can be reduced.
