정신장애인의 취업의지 예측 요인 (Predictors of Employment Intention for Mentally Disabled Persons)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the predictors of employment intention for mentally disabled persons. Methods: Mentally disabled persons who had participated in rehabilitation programs in one of 16 mental health centers and 9 community rehabilitation centers located in Seoul and Kyunggi province were recruited for this study. A random sampling method was used and 414 respondents were used for final analysis. Data was analyzed by Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple regression using the SPSS Win 14.0. Results: The predictors influencing employment intention of the mentally disabled person were observed as employment desire (${\beta}=.48$), guardian's expectation (${\beta}=.26$), professional's support (${\beta}=.23$), financial management (${\beta}=.10$), eating habits (${\beta}=.07$), and quality of life (${\beta}=-.01$). Six factors explained 61.1% of employment intention of mentally disabled persons. Conclusion: The employment intention of a mentally disabled person was influenced by employment desire, diet self-efficacy, guardian's expectation, professional's support, quality of life, financial management and eating habits.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the factors that influence employer to rehire the mentally disabled. The participants of survey were 121 of employers' in Busan. Data were analyzed using ${\chi}^2$-test, t-test and logistic regression analysis with SPSS/WIN 18.0. According to this analysis, the results show that employer's rehiring intentions for the mentally disabled is a significantly related to gender, relationship with mental disabled person, industrial classification, experience of disabled employees, period of employment with mentally disabled people, subsidy for employment promotion, employment quota system, benevolence, community mental health ideology. Logistic regression analysis showed that relationship with mental disabled person, industrial classification, experience of disabled employees, period of employment with mentally disabled people, subsidy for employment promotion, employment quota system and benevolence. On the basis of results, program for encouraging employer's intention of rehiring the mentally disabled should be development and establish mediate strategies.

한국형 실천관계 척도 정신장애인 용 개발 연구 (Development and Validation Study of the Korean Version of Working Relationship Scale)

  • 본 연구는 정신장애인과 사례관리자간의 '실천관계(Working Relationship)'를 측정하는 한국형 실천관계 척도 정신장애인 용의 개발 및 타당화를 위해 진행되었다. 척도개발을 위해 첫째, 문헌연구와 정신장애인을 대상으로 3회의 포커스면접을 통해 실천관계척도의 예비문항을 구성하였다. 둘째, 정신장애인과 정신보건사회복지전공 사회복지학과 교수 2인 및 1급 정신보건사회복지사인 실무자 2인의 검토를 통해 최종 예비문항을 선정하였다. 셋째, 최종 선정된 예비문항을 569명의 정신장애인 대상의 실증조사연구를 통해 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증하였다. 수집된 자료를 무선 분할하여 먼저 탐색적 요인분석(exploratory factor analysis)을 실시한 결과, 3개의 요인구조를 확인하였다. 요인 1은 사례관리자의 전문적 실천과 관련된 '전문가 기여', 요인 2는 '부정적인 실천관계', 요인 3은 사례관리자와 정신장애인간의 친밀감을 나타내는 '정서적 유대'로 나타났다. 나머지 표본을 가지고 확인적 요인분석(confirmatory factor analysis)을 실시한 결과 모델의 적합도는 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 최종 33문항의 한국형 실천관계 척도 정신장애인 용을 개발 제시하였으며, 본 연구의 사회복지적 함의를 논하였다.

제조업에 종사하는 정신장애인 근로자의 이직의도 관련요인 (Factors Affecting Turnover Intention of People with Mentally Disabilities Working in Manufacturing Industry)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify turnover intentions in workers with mentally disabilities working in manufacturing industry. Methods: Participants were 147 workers with mentally disabled living in B-city and Y-city. The data were collected from September 1st to November 30th, 2011 using self-report questionnaires including measurements of turnover intentions, family support, work volition, working environment, job satisfaction and internalized stigma. Data analysis was done using the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: The average score for turnover intention was $2.9{\pm}0.7$. Turnover intention was related to job satisfaction, working environment, family support and internalized stigma. The predicting factors for turnover intention were job satisfaction, internalized stigma and gender. Those factors accounted for 41.9% of turnover intention. Conclusion: The results imply that workers with mentally disabled need to reduce internalized stigma as well as to increase job satisfaction in order to decrease turnover intention.

시간제 근무를 하는 정신장애인 근로자의 직무만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Associated Factors of Job Satisfaction on Part-time Work of the Mentally Disabled)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of satisfaction of part-time work of the mentally disabled and the factors affecting their job satisfaction. Methods: The subjects of this study were 106 part-time workers with mental illness in the city of B and Y. The data were collected from February 1, 2012 to May 30, 2012 using self-report questionnaires including the measurement scales of job satisfaction, family support, work volition and the degree of satisfaction with work environment. The data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: The mean of score for job satisfaction was $61.8{\pm}13.84$. Job satisfaction was highly related to family support, work environment and work volition. The associated factor of the subjects job satisfaction were family support, work environment, work volition, and the period of employment. The combination of these four factors showed an explanation for job satisfaction at the rate of 80.2%. Conclusion: The results imply that job satisfaction needs to be increased for the job continuity of employees with mental illness. In addition to this, work environment, work volition and family support should first be improved for the increase of job satisfaction.

정신건강지킴이 프로그램이 정신장애인의 권리인식, 임파워먼트, 회복력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Mental Health Guardian Program on Awareness of Rights, Empowerment, and Resilience of People with Mental Disabilities)

  • 본 연구는 정신건강지킴이 프로그램이 정신장애인의 권리인식, 임파워먼트, 회복력에 미치는 효과를 규명하기 위해 실시한 비동등성대조군 전후시차설계를 이용한 유사실험 연구이다. 연구의 대상자는 2019년 9월 2일부터 12월 9일까지 K시 소재한 정신과 병원의 재활센터와 정신사회복지시설의 정신재활센터에 등록한 회원을 대상으로 정신건강지킴이 프로그램을 진행하였다. 정신건강지킴이 프로그램에 참여한 정신장애인은 참여하지 않은 정신장애인에 비해 장애인의 권리인식과 회복력이 유의하게 증가하였다. 임파워먼트에 있어서는 두 군 간 유의한 차이는 없었다. 본 연구에서 정신건강지킴이 프로그램이 정신장애인의 권리인식과 회복력에 효과적인 이유는 일방향적 교육이 아닌 프로그램에 참가한 정신장애인 당사자가 잘못된 뉴스를 찾아보고 수정해서 다시 카드뉴스를 제작해 보는 당사자중심의 프로그램을 운영하였기 때문으로 보여진다. 본 연구결과 정신건강지킴이 프로그램이 정신장애인에 대한 귄리인식을 증진하고 회복력을 높이는 데 기여한 것으로 나타났다.

지적장애인의 구강건강관리를 위한 생활재활교사의 치위생 중재에 관한 연구 (A study on dental hygiene management for mentally retarded person's oral health care of life rehabilitation teacher)

  • 구강보건 관련 취약계층에 해당하는 거주 장애인의 개인위생과 구강위생 업무수행의 어려움의 정도 및 구강보건 수행환경을 알아보고자, 경기도 장애복지 시설 생활재활교사에게 설문조사를 실시하여 총 111부를 기술통계와 상관분석으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 거주 장애인의 개인위생은 자발적인 칫솔질, 칫솔질 중요도 인식, 자신의 칫솔 찾기와는 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째 거주 장애인의 구강위생 수행과 관련한 어려움의 정도는 자신의 칫솔 찾기, 치과 의료기관의 구강검사 여부에서 보통이상을 수행할 수 있는 것으로 나타났고, 자발적 수행정도에서는 잇몸 맛사지, 설탕 함유 식품 자제순으로 잘하지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자발적인 칫솔질을 잘 수행할수록 올바른 칫솔질 방법 등에 대한 교육을 적절하게 받고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 3분 이상 칫솔질과 회전법 칫솔질을 스스로 잘 수행 할수록 구강관리용품을 적절하게 지원받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 혀 닦기를 잘 수행할수록 담당 장애인의 수는 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 거주 장애인이 개인위생을 실천하기 어려운 경우, 구강위생 실천에 도움을 줄 수 있는 생활재활교사 및 장애인에게 지속적인 치위생 중재 프로그램이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

시각, 청각, 지적 여성장애인의 양육부담과 부모역할만족도와의 관계 : 자녀와의 의사소통 매개효과 (Correlationship between Satisfaction of Disabled Females with Mental, Visual and Hearing Disability in Raising Children : Mediating Effect of Communication between Parent and Child)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 시각, 청각, 지적 여성장애인의 자녀양육부담과 부모역할만족도의 관계를 살피고 자녀와의 의사소통이 이들 사이를 매개하는지를 검증함으로써 여성장애인의 양육부담을 경감시키고 효과적인 부모역할 수행 방안을 마련하는데 있다. 조사는 서울지역 장애인복지관과 여성장애인 관련 단체의 협조를 통해 총 13개 기관에 300부를 배포하였고, 청각장애 여성은 자기기입방식으로, 시각과 지적장애 여성들은 조사원이 읽어주고 대답하는 방식으로 210부를 회수하여 최종분석에는 187부가 사용되었다. 연구결과 양육부담은 부모역할만족도와 자녀와의 의사소통에 직접적인 부적(-) 관계를 형성하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 자녀와의 의사소통은 양육부담이 부모역할만족도에 영향을 미치는 관계를 매개하고 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 여성장애인의 양육부담을 감소시키고 부모역할만족도를 증진시키는 동시에 자녀와의 의사소통 기술을 보다 강화하는 방안을 고려할 필요가 있다.

Interaction Contents for Reconsidering Visually Disabled Parents

  • According to the Ministry of Health and Welfare, "Status of Registered Persons with Disabilities", the number of people with disabilities is 2,494,460 as of 2015. The lowest rates of children with disabilities were intellectual disabilities (23%) and mental disorders (33.3%). The highest rates of screening were blindness (97%), heart failure (94.4%), and hearing impairment (92.7%). 65.2% of visually impaired people who have already had a disability at the time of marriage, and the remaining 34.8% can be thought to be the cause of high incidence of disability after marriage. 'SID (Seed in the Dark)' project was designed to recapture the visually impaired parent's desire for attachment and the space difficulties of the blind who want to be a normal parent to their children through a visual impairment of a father with 7-year-old daughter. Using Gear VR(Virtual Reality), the general public was able to feel the surroundings as if they had no vision and focused on the hearing. Especially, We expressed the sound wave visually and added the hilarious game element which grasps the terrain of the maze by sound wave like a 'blind person who perceives the surroundings by sound' and catches up with daughter. People with disabilities who are far from mental illness often have a form of family with children. The fact that the rate of childbirth is high means that there is relatively little problem in daily life. It is wondered that the rate of blindness among the visually impaired, which accounts for 10% of the total disabled, is the highest at 97%. This is because, in the case of the visually impaired, the obstacle is often caused by aging, accidents, or diseases due to inherited causes rather than the visual disorder. In particular, However, the fact that there is an obstacle in vision that accounts for 83% of the body's sensory organs causes other difficulties in the nursing process of children who are non-disabled. Parents do not know the face of child when their visual impairment is severe. Parents are extremely anxious about worry that they will be lost or abducted if their children are not by their side. And that the child recognizes the disability of his or her parents other than the other parents easily and takes it as a deficiency. Since visually impaired parents are mentally mature parents with non-disabled people, they may want their children not to feel deprived of their disability. The number of people with visual impairments has been increasing since 2001, and people with impairments often become disabled. In addition, there is much research on the problem of nondisabled parents who have children with disabilities, while there is relatively little interest and research on the problem of nondisabled child rearing of parents with disabilities.

사회 복지 시설의 급식관리 실태조사 (Investigation of Foodservice in some social welfare facilities in Seoul)

  • The following study was done to investigate foodservice management practice. Total subjects were 18 foodservices in social welfare facilities in Seoul. Among studied facilities, nine were the welfare facilities for children, five were the welfare facilities for elderly, two were the welfare facilities for a mentally and physically disabled person and the remaining two were vagabond care facilities. Methods used were mainly questionaires. These questionaires were answered by manager and interviews were also done for a same person. Equipments were evaluated by investigators using the evaluation form. The results of the study were summarized as follows. Number of cooks and assistant cooks among employee in foodservice establishment were about 2-6 persons. One dietitian is stationed in 2 places among 18 places. Food purchasing and menu plannings were mainly practiced by manager, secretary and other personnels, in more than 50% of social welfare facilities. The type of the menu in most facilities was the set menu. The period of turn over for cycle menu was a week in 50% of facilities. Seventy seven point eight percentage of the welfare facilities were used the weekly or monthly cycle. For the food preparation, there was almost no place using standard recipes. Foodstuffs were purchased in local market. Moreover, the preference test of served foods were done for residence of each facilities. But it was not applicated effectively. Conditions of most equipments in the kitchen were defective specially in dishwashing and sterilization step.
