Selection of Spatial Regression Model Using Point Pattern Analysis

  • When a spatial regression model that uses kernel density values as a dependent variable is applied to retail business data, a unique model cannot be selected because kernel density values change following kernel bandwidths. To overcome this problem, this paper suggests how to use the point pattern analysis, especially the L-index to select a unique spatial regression model. In this study, kernel density values of retail business are computed by the bandwidth, the distance of the maximum L-index and used as the dependent variable of spatial regression model. To test this procedure, we apply it to meeting room business data in Seoul, Korea. As a result, a spatial error model (SEM) is selected between two popular spatial regression models, a spatial lag model and a spatial error model. Also, a unique SEM based on the real distribution of retail business is selected. We confirm that there is a trade-off between the goodness of fit of the SEM and the real distribution of meeting room business over the bandwidth of maximum L-index.

  • Past, teacher's facilities space of school arranges the desk by teacher's number and businesslike function a teacher's room and night-duty room, supplementary rest space, of considered 1 room from everything mean. But, these days, teacher's space is emphasized personality of individual study conversation between teachers and a rest etc. Even though the change of such use form is very important to teacher, it is true to be not considered much in architectural planning of existing school's facilities. Plan that correspond dividing use form of school affair meeting and business, individual study, a rest etc. of forward teacher space is to need. Therefore, I wish to suggest architectural data for general and efficient operation management of integrated school through this study.

초현실주의 회화의 Automatism 기법을 이용한 패션디스플레이 (Fashion Display by Automatism Techniques of Surrealism Paintings)

  • The surrealism for the revelation of the unconscious realms shares the inner world of mentality with modern fashion display for the visual expression of sensation each other. The analysis of the influence which automatism technique of surrealism exerts on fashion display showed as follows : 1) The automatism technique elevated the dramatic effect of the sales room by scraping the perspective, or the principle of visual arts. 2) It maximized the effect of subject of the display by coinciding surrealism with realism. 3) The technique which distorts the things heralded the strong message to customers by letting them keep away from the fixed idea. 4) Humorous expression of display brought about the effect of sales stimulation by giving astonishment, shock and exaggeration. 5) Expression of surrealism and realism caused customers to feel shock, illusion, fantasy. 6) The automatism technique expressed the high-tech image, and free expression by revealing the diversity of subject. 7) Display hinted from nature satisfied the mental desire of the human beings to be assimilated with nature. The formative characteristic presented the new possibility of combination of display with arts through the avant-garde sensation. Sale's room, or the marketing space was to be sublimated to three dimensional art space, which enhanced the image of sale's room, furthermore meeting the demand of moderner's lifestyle.

  • "Great things in business are never done by one person; they're done by a team of people." By Steve Jobs, 2003. As define by Linda Naiam - Creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. Creativity involves two processes: thinking, then producing. Innovation is the production or implementation of an idea. If you have ideas, but don't act on them, you are imaginative but not creative. So in order to maintain the pace with the changing business scenario and coping with the competition Innovation and Creativity is considered a mandatory tool for a business to exist and grow in market. Whether a company is Employee centric or Business centric Innovation and creativity has to have its space in order to keep a business ahead of others in the Market. Also it's not just the competition which has led to the Innovation and Creativity in Business practices it's also the demanding chunk of consumers and customers who are aware and prefer maximum choices before making a final deal. Another reason as to why there is a change in business practices is the globalization of businesses where you need to rope in the Innovative ideas to launch and sustain in new market. There had been tremendous shift in business practices but to give a room to innovative ideas and implement that creativity need ample to space and vision along with an attitude where in you can resist for getting an immediate results from innovative business practices. Corporate Creativity is characterized by the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns, to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutions. Generating fresh solutions to problems, and the ability to create new products, processes or services for a changing market, are part of the intellectual capital that give a company its competitive edge. Creativity is a crucial part of the innovation equation. The innovation and creativity is not limited to any area of business, it can start from your waiting lounge to your board room meeting depending upon how the things are perceived and implemented for the betterment of people and business. The purpose of this research is to understand the latest creative business approaches and practices that organizations are following to be different from their competitors. Also this shift from generic business practices to the Innovative and Creative approach seems to take the business into new world. This approaches means starting from the bottom of the Pyramid and finally touching the pinnacles in Innovation and creativity. The paper will discuss on the various areas of business where in innovative approaches can be roped in and sets new bench mark altogether in the business arena.

호텔종사자의 직장 내에서의 스트레스에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Job Stress of the Hotel Employees)

  • This study is of an analysis of the kinds of influences on the subordinate variables through the adjusting variables by the independent variables which serve as the perception factor of job stress. also This study, with taking the workers for the hotel employees who are in the room, food & beverage and cook, was carried out so as to analyze deeply and throughly the stress of work they experience in doing their job and the tension incited from this stress and the strategy used for meeting this stress to grope for raising plan for the degree of satisfaction with their job of the workers for the hotel. In order for, this study ran paralled with literature study and research study, taking 615 workers who are now working in hotel. Job stress is easily negligible in hotel business not only because it is hard to identify and measure its concrete entity on account of its intangible characteristic but also because it is impossible to check physically the relationship with each direct behavior. If job stress continue, however, it can cause neglect of duty, change of occupation, deterioration of service quality and eventually aggravate the cost of a hotel business and decrease the hotel sales. Consequently, it is highly necessary to increase job satisfaction by identifying systematically and eliminating the stress factor of hotel employees in order to accomplish particularly experience unique job stress in the course of contact since they should provide the customer with their services.

아이디어 교육 및 창업 인프라 지원이 엔터테인먼트 산업 분야에 대한 대학생 창업의도 연구 (A Study on the Entrepreneurial Intention of College Students in the Entertainment Industry with Idea Education and Support for Startup Infrastructure)

  • 본 연구는 기존 문헌연구들을 중심으로 엔터테인먼트 산업 분야의 대학생 창업의도 특성들을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 바탕으로 대학 창업담당 관계자들과 국가 창업지원 정책 담당자들에게 대학생 창업을 위한 현실적인 교육 대안 및 창업 경영에 관한 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구의 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 엔터테인먼트 산업에 필수적인 요소인 아이디어 창출 교육을 위한 기술(아이템) 아이디어와 제품으로의 연결 방법, 컨텐츠 가치를 높일 수 있는 기술 방법, 엔터테인먼트 산업 내 사용자 특성 교육을 지속적으로 해야 할 것이다. 또한 아이디어 교육과 함께 자금조달, 인적자원관리, 마케팅, 운영관리 등 창업 경영관리에 대한 이해도를 높이고, 나아가 엔터테인먼트 창업에 대한 성공가능성 및 새로운 일에 대한 모험심이 생길 수 있도록 자신감 교육도 함께 이루어져야 할 것이다. 둘째, 창업에 관심이 있는 학생 의견조사를 중심으로 창업에 필요한 공간 및 장비제공(동아리실, 학생창업실, 엔터테인먼트관련 장비확보 등)이 이루어져야 하고, 학생 창업을 위한 대학 및 정부의 각종 규제들을 완화해야 할 것이다. 또한 학내 외 창업 지식형성을 위한 교육과 전문가 특강 및 자문, 현장 교육 등을 통해 보다 실용적인 창업 지식이 만들어질 수 있도록 노력해야 하고, 다양한 지원들을 바탕으로 학생들의 창업에 대한 자신감도 형성할 수 있도록 만들어 주어야 할 것이다. 셋째, 엔터테인먼트 산업에 대한 창업을 희망하는 학생들에게는 가족들에게 엔터테인먼트 산업에 대한 현장 상황을 정확히 알려줌으로써 자녀들이 창업분야를 선택하는데 있어 부정적인 인식보다는 긍정적인 인식이 발생할 수 있도록 적극 알릴 필요가 있다. 또한 대학생들이 창업 후 성공한 다양한 사례들을 가족들에게 홍보함으로써 자녀가 창업에 대한 도전정신이 발생할 수 있도록 가족들이 힘을 보태게 해야 할 것이다. 넷째, 엔터테인먼트 산업 분야 쪽으로 창업을 희망하는 친구들과의 지속적인 동호회나 모임들이 형성 될 수 있도록 만들어 주어야 하고, 나아가 이런 모임을 통해 실제로 창업한 친구들의 의견을 청취하는 기회도 마련해야 할 것이다. 또한 모임과 친구 형성으로 인해 사업계획서 작성, 창업 성공 방법, 창업 경영관리에 대한 논의의 자리가 형성되도록 만들어 주어야 하고, 서로 창업에 대한 의지가 발생할 수 있도록 심리적 자극활동도 이루어져야 할 것이다. 다섯째, 창업과 관련한 다양한 지식(자금 확보 방안, 창업조직 관리, 창업하고자 하는 시장에 대한 정보 파악 등)들이 배양될 수 있도록 노력해야 할 것이고, 자신들이 창업하고자 하는 다양한 엔터테인먼트 산업 분야에 대한 사업계획서 작성 방법도 실무에 맞도록 학습 시켜야 할 것이다. 또한 이런 지식 형성을 밑바탕으로 학생들 스스로가 창업에서 발생할 수 있는 위험과 변화에 대응할 수 있도록 만들어 주어야 할 것이다. 마지막으로 창업 경영관리에 대한 이해도를 높여 주어야 하고, 창업에 대한 자신감과 두려움이 사라지게 할 수 있는 다양한 심리적 자극 활동이 필요하다.

연구중심병원 의생명연구원의 실험실 구성 사례 조사 (Case Study on the Building Organization of Medibio Research Laboratory Facilities in Research-driven Hospital)

  • Healthcare technology has been growing and fostering cooperation between industry, university and hospitals as growth engines in korea. So, the medibio research institutes in hospital have been constructed to promote research and industrialization centering on healthcare technology. The purpose of this study is to investigate the cases of research institutes in hospitals, and search the characteristics of building organization of medibio research laboratory facilities. Case study is investigated by floor plan, homepage and site visits about five research institutes selected in research-driven hospitals. The facility title and size of research laboratory is originated from site area and research building location. The building function include not only the research lab and business office reflecting on the development platform, and but assembly and meeting room in the ground level. Laboratory floor plans have three types, rectangular, rectangular+linear and linear type, one is traditional and efficient, the others are people and friendly. And building core types are correlated with lab space unit modules, single and double side core are shown in rectangular type. All the laboratories are open lab, composed with laboratory bench and research note writing desk facing the lab service and enclosed lab-support area. And they have communication space looking as warm and cozy common area for the innovation, convergence and collaboration. As the high risk of contamination and high standard for safety and security, equipment and facilities are well managed with biological environment including BSC, fume hood, PCR classification, eye washing and emergency shower.

패션디자인 CAD의 온라인 교육 방법 연구 - 포토샵, 일러스트레이터, 텍스프로 프로그램을 중심으로 - (Online pedagogical strategies of a fashion design CAD course - Focused on Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Texpro programs -)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest effective online pedagogical strategies for a fashion design CAD course to enhance student learning and satisfaction. The study investigated student experience of online learning and compared online learning with a face-to-face learning experience. Student concentration, participation, perceptions of effectiveness of teaching, utilization of learning materials, and satisfaction were analyzed using a 5-point Likert scale. Advantages and disadvantages of online learning as well as advantages of face-to-face learning were also analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. Student concentration, participation, and perception of effectiveness of teaching were greater for face-to-face learning with significantly higher concentration on individual practice. Students utilized video recording of synchronous online lectures more actively than PDF lecture notes. The advantages of face-to-face learning were plentiful communication and feedback and easy questioning process as well as high levels of understanding and concentration. Meanwhile, major disadvantages of online learning were the speed of the lecture, lower levels of understanding and concentration, limited peer interaction, and technical problems. Major advantages of online learning were flexibility and convenience, repetitive learning through videos, and instant communication and feedback. Students preferred a blended learning approach for the fashion design CAD course. For effective online learning, it is suggested that instructors frequently question and check student practice through screen share in a private online meeting room and engage activities that are demanding of student interaction. The video recording of synchronous online lectures is also suggested as a supplemental learning material for repetitive learning.

일본의 중견기업에 관한 연구 : 현황과 특징, 정책을 중심으로 (A Study on Medium-Sized Enterprises of Japan)

  • 본고에서는 일본 중견기업의 위상, 특징, 관련 정책을 검토함으로써 우리나라에서의 중견기업 정책의 방향을 모색하고자 한다. 일본의 경쟁우위업종인 기계, 전자부품업의 출하와 고용비중은 여타 업종보다 높아, 그 저변에 두터운 중견기업이 존재하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 일본의 중견기업 육성정책은 연구개발과 환경대책을 위한 기업간 제휴 유도라는 측면에서 간접적으로 지원하고 있다. 우리나라도 특정 정책사업에 있어서 기업간 협력 유도를 통하여 중견기업을 육성할 수 있을 것이다.

  • 컨벤션의 유치와 개최는 인적 물적 교류를 통한 국제 상호간의 이해를 증진시키고, 지역정제를 활성화시킨다는 측면에서 지역정책론자들의 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 컨벤션센터는 도시의 정치 경제 문화의 중심적인 기능을 수행하기 때문에 선진국의 대부분 도시에는 컨벤션센터가 건립되어 있다. 컨벤션 및 컨벤션 산업은 일반 관장산업과는 달리 부가가치가 매우 높은 관광활동이기 때문에 오늘날 대도시의 새로운 관광산업으로 등장하고 있다. 본 연구는 다가오는 21세기 여수반도권의 여건변화를 고려하여 여수반도권의 컨벤션센터 건립의 필요성, 컨벤션센터의 입지성 분석, 지역 여건에 적합한 리조트형 컨벤션센터의 건립방향 및 추진전략을 제시해 보았다. 특히 여수반도권은 다가오는 2000년대에 환태평양시대 동북아 경제권의 해운 항만의 거점중심지, 중화학 철강 기계 등을 중심으로 한 우리 나라의 신산업지구로 기능하여 새로운 해상위락 관광재발의 요구가 증대될 지역으로 전망된다. 이러한 지역 내외적 변화에 적극적으로 대처하기 위한 방안의 하나로서 컨벤션센터의 건립이 요구된다. 그리고 선진국의 임해지역에서 활용하고 있는 텔레포트 기능과 리조트 기능, 그리고 컨벤션 기능을 적절하게 조화시키는 것이 매우 필요하며, 이를 위해서는 리조트형 컨벤션센터의 건립이 필요하다.
