Growth studies of Catenaria anguillulae isolates in response to sodium chloride indicated that all the isolates grew in linseed oil-cake agar medium containing sodium chloride up to 1.0%. Medium with 1.5% sodium chloride, however, completely checked the growth of all the isolates. The size of zoosporangia greatly increased with abundant zoospore production in medium containing sodium chloride at 0.5%.

This study aims to systematize the needs of each area for computerized production management of small- and medium-sized firms and establish the basic design background of their common database. For this purpose, we surveyed the status, needs and appliable characteristics of the firms production system by the categories of industry, size and production type. On the base of these surveys the basic design concept and contents of automatic production system for small and medium-sized firms are proposed.

The attenuation pattern of the E-polarized electromagnetic fields scattered by two empty circular cylinders in a dielectric medium is analyzed to calculate the effects of the inhomogenuity in hte background medium. Inthe amplitude pattern of the electromagnetic field scattered by one cylinder, double dips occur at the locations corresponding to its top and bottom boundaries. The distorton of the original double dip pattern is calculated when other air cavity approaches or its size increases.

Monodisperse PMMA micro spheres are prepared by means of a simple soap-free emulsion polymerization in methanol-enriched aqueous medium in a single step process. The size and uniformity of the microspheres are dependent on the polymerization temperature. In a stable system, the uniformity is improved with the polymerization time. The most uniform and stable micro spheres are obtained under mild agitation speed of 100 rpm at 70$^{\circ}C$. The monodisperse PMMA microspheres in the size range of 1.4-2.0 $\mu\textrm{m}$ having less than 5% size variation are successfully achieved with varying concentrations of monomer and initiator. As the monomer and initiator concentrations increase, the larger micro spheres with enhanced uniformity are obtained. However, the decreased amount of water induces the polydisperse PMMA particles due to the generation of secondary particles.

This paper investigates and selects the areas that need to be improved in R&D and production management of small and medium size companies. The study on the capability of R&D and production management shows that the areas for evaluating of the R&D and production management levels are composed of 8 elements : R&D resource, R&D support and experience, long-term operations strategy, intermediate range planning, short-term planning, subcontractor management, logistics and inventory management, and quality management. The investigation of the gap between the importance of the areas and the capability of SMEs shows that the most important things are to consolidate supply chain, to improve product and process competitiveness using quality improvement, and to enhance production management through sophisticated short-term planning. The detailed analysis also shows that the areas that need to be improved depend on the size and sales of the company.

The objective of the study is to know demographic characteristics mobility motivation housing aspiration and housing values of expected purchasers of the small/medium size apartments located at 'H-area' in Ulsan to enhance their level of housing satisfaction through better planning. The result shows that moving motivation housing aspiration and housing values differ as what size respective expected purchasers want. As a regional characteristic the reality-oriented view of housing is apparent in that their interests are focused on the setups or facilities after-service and maintenance and that they think conveniency more important than the edifices' appearance or beauty.

The aluminum nitride films were prepared by RF magnetron sputtering using an AlN ceramic target. The crystallinity, grain size, Al-N bonding and thermal conductivity were investigated in dependence on the plasma power densities (4.93, 7.40, 9.87 W/$cm^2$) during sputtering. High thermal conductivity is important properties of A1N passivation layer for functioning properly in thermal inkjet printhead. The crytallinity, grain size, Al-N bonding formation and chemical composition were observed using X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), respectively. The AlN thin film was changed from amorphous to crystalline as the power density was increased, and the largest grain size appeared at medium power density. The near stoichiometry Al-N bonding ratio was acquired at medium power density. So, we know that the AlN thin film had better thermal conductivity with crystalline phase and near stoichometry Al-N bonding ratio at 7.40 W/$cm^2$ power density.

The objective of this study is to find out demographic characteristics, motivation to move, housing values, and present housing satisfaction of expected purchasers, so that the results contribute to better planning of the medium size apartments at Guyoung in Ulsan city The field survey on 472 households has been carried out at suburbs of Ulsan. Major findings are as follows : 1) Demographic characteristics, motivation to move, housing values, and present housing satisfaction differ as the size expected purchasers live in at present. 2) To increase the motivation to move to Guyoung, well designed of planning common space, parking area, cultural and welfare facilities is essential. 3) To enhance the satisfaction level, better plan of dinning space and second bathroom is important for the apartments of 20py.s(~$m^2$), and that of family bathroom and utility space for the apartments of 30py.s(~$m^2$).

The corporate culture contributes much to the approach to the management problems as well as to the view to see the problems in the light of the multiplying-enterprise environment. In comparision with the large size corporates, the small-medium size corporates under various disadvantage conditions increase to the high achievement through the development of corporate culture, though the period and method to root in the corporate culture differ from one another depending on the situations. The purpose of this paper is to propose the owner's intention and efforts, the development of the corporate culture helpful for the long-run achievement, the cultural network and the member's role which prove to be effective method to root in the corporate culture.
