This study is performed to determine the priorites of the evaluation factors for the improvement of fire emergency medical service by increasing it's efficiency to protect the people's lives effectively, and by recognizing it's mid-long term development. Based on the output of the analysis, the critical evaluation factors of the fire emergency medical services to be improved shall be identified, and shall be intended to use strategically for increasing the efficiency of all the activity in the EMT service, and also for providing the basic date to product and manage the good quality services. To calculate the priority of the evaluation factor for each level as shown on this study, AHP(anaysis hierarchy process) with pairwise comparison method is applied. According to the priority analysis for the evaluation factors in main category (evaluation zone), 'medical service professional aspect' is recognized as highest one, and 'service infrastructure aspect', 'service management aspect' are indicated in order. According to the priority analysis for the evaluation factors in evaluation index, 'professional personal arrangement' in the service infrastructure aspect, 'appropriateness and timeliness of emergency medical care' in the medical service professional aspect, and 'clinical training' in the service management aspect are respectively recognized as most important factors.

We develop some evaluation tool and indicators for the scores for medical equipment replacement in hospital. There has been no research for Korean hospitals although there are many for foreign medical institutions. In this paper, among many variables that were obtained from the previous studies, eleven variables are selected as indicators and tied as three groups. And then we obtain scores of medical equipments based on the weighted values of those indicators. We can make decisions whether we replace medical equipments or not by ranking the medical equipments based on the scores. This paper shows that we can make decisions to replace medical equipments very objectively and effectively using the evaluation tool and indicators we develop.

Objectives : This study was performed to develop a standard instrument of oriental medical evaluation for hwa-byung. Methods : The advisor committee on this study was organized by 17 neuropsychiatry professors of oriental medical colleges. The items and structure of the instrument were quoted from the instrument of pattern identification for hwa-byung. We took consultation twice from the advisor committee and we also took additional advices by e-mail. Results : We discriminated between bian-zheng and su-zheng from the answers of the advisor committee. We got the mean weight of each symptom and sign from the answers of the advisor committee. We got the final weight from the combination of the ratio of bian-zheng to the number of all answers of the advisor committee and mean weight. Conclusions : The instrument of oriental medical evaluation for hwa-byung was developed through experts' discussion. If the validity and reliability of this instrument is confirmed through additional clinical trial, the instrument of oriental medical evaluation for hwa-byung is expected to be applied to the subsequent research.

지방공기업의 하나인 지방공사의료원은 경영개선을 위해 매년 행정자치부의 경영평가를 받고 있다. 경영평가를 위한 지표가 의료원의 현실을 잘 반영하고 경영개선에 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있도록 많은 발전이 이루어졌다. 그러나 일부 지표에 있어서는 논란의 여지가 있을 수 있어 사업운영분야와 관련된 경영평가지표를 중심으로 문제점과 개선방안을 제시하였다. 재정자립도, 병원관리, 사회기여도 측면에서 공공성과 수익성을 잘 반영할 수 있는 평가지표가 될 수 있도록 평가방법과 재 설계된 지표를 제시하였다. 경영평가가 성공하기 위해서는 의료원의 부가가치를 잘 측정하고 의료원 경영목표를 반영할 수 있어야 한다. 이를 위해서는 매년 평가 데이타를 축적 분석하고 문제점과 개선방안을 유도하기 위한 연구가 지속적으로 수행되어야 할 것이다.

Objectives: This study was conducted to review the overall concept of nutritional evaluation of infants and young children. Methods: Literature search was done to study definition, method and importance of nutritional evaluation of infants and young children. Pubmed and Google scholarship were used in the research. Search words were 'Nutritional evaluation', 'infants' and 'young children'. Results: Nutrition evaluation is mainly used by physical measurement, clinical evaluation, dietary intake survey, and biochemical test depending on the age and disease. The treatment method for 治未病, which is a concept of korean medicine, and 健兒法 for treating the concept of weak children are considered to have very high applicability in solving various problems found through nutrition evaluation in korean medical approach. Conclusion: Infants and children are the fastest growing period of their lives, showing rapid growth in physical, and emotional development along with rapid brain growth. Therefore, inadequate nutrition during this period affects mental and physical growth and development not only during that period but also throughout life. Nutrition evaluation is divided into regular evaluation that includes children in all growing seasons and screening evaluation for problem solving, and follow-up nutritional evaluation that evaluates nutritional status in the long run. For each nutritional evaluation, evaluation is conducted by physical measurement, clinical evaluation, dietary intake survey, and biochemical test. By comprehensively interpreting them, nutritional status is determined. This study provides basic data on the proper nutrition evaluation method to identify and correct nutritional problems such as growth level, nutritional deficiency, and nutritional excess early.

The existing evaluation systems based on financial performance summarize the information about past results and focus on short-term performance, and so they have the limits to explain the future value of firms and to make a long-term strategic performance. By this reason, as a way to increase the future value, the development of the integrated performance evaluation system with which we may manages financial performance and knowledge assets together has been required recently. This study puts together various researches for the evaluation of knowledge assets, and analyzes the existing studies for the domestic medical devices industry and the tendency of introduction for business practice. Under this analysis, this study develops the knowledge asset evaluation indexes for medical devices industry by using the Balanced Score Card (BSC) of Kaplan & Norton(1992), and then presents the evaluation model by applying the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) of Saaty(1980) to get the weight for each index. With the final evaluation model, we can calculate the evaluation score combined with both the quantitative indexes and the qualitative indexes at once.

Background: This study summarizes the experience of operating a 'Medical Humanities' course, which was taught remotely to maintain activities and discussions at medical schools in Daegu, Korea during the sudden and unexpected coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Methods: The subjects of this study were 73 first- and 79 second-grade medical students who took the medical humanities (1) and (2) courses among first- and second-grade students of Yeungnam University College of Medicine in 2020. Of the 152 students who agreed to the online survey, 123 completed the survey. Self-, environmental, and program evaluations were conducted on the study subjects, and differences according to grade and gender were analyzed. Results: As a result of the study, a significant difference between self-evaluation and environmental evaluation was confirmed. Self-evaluation was determined to be higher in the first grade than in the second grade. The environmental evaluation showed that male students were more satisfied than female students and students generally had difficulties in the classroom environment. Of the applications used in class, the highest satisfaction was observed with KakaoTalk (Kakao Corp.) and Zoom (Zoom Video Communications Inc.). At the end of COVID-19, the students preferred online classes. Conclusion: If the learning environment for online classes is well prepared and systematic provisions are made, such as class operations that are suitable for the subject, effective education and learning can be achieved by taking advantage of both face-to-face and online classes.

선진국의 고령사회 도래 및 웰빙 확산, 중국, 인도 등 후발 공업국의 급성장에 따라 최근 전자의료기기시장이 크게 확대 되고 있다. 이중 다소비 생활밀착형 전자의료기기중 하나인 개인용전기자극기는 통증완화, 재활치료, 근육운동 등의 목적으로 사용되는 전기자극기로써 가정에서 개인적으로 사용하는 만큼 그 안전성 및 성능 확보는 사용자의 측면에서 매우 중요하다고 볼 수 있다. 그러나 현재 개인용전기자극기에 대한 안전성과 유효성을 평가하는 가이드라인이 아직 마련되지 않은 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국제수준에 부합하는 개인용전기자극기의 안전성과 성능을 평가하기위해 관련 국내외 규격을 검토하였고 시험항목, 기준 및 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 제안된 시험항목에 대한 시험검증을 통하여 최종적으로 국제 조화된 안전성 및 성능 평가 항목을 도출하였다. 본 연구 결과를 통하여 개인용전기자극기의 품질 및 안전성 향상을 도모함으로써 국내 전자의료기기산업의 국제 경쟁력 확보에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

To understand and evaluate the patients who were referred for psychiatric consultation from medical departments, the authors reviewed the concept of disease, psychological reaction to disease, problems on psychiatric diagnosis and evaluation which were encountered at the medical ward. In addition, we reviewed what psychiatrists should do during consultation.
