  • Relevance feedback is an effective tool to bridge the gap between superficial image contents and medically-relevant sense in content-based medical image retrieval. In this paper, we propose an interactive medical image search framework based on pairwise constraint propagation. The basic idea is to obtain pairwise constraints from user feedback and propagate them to the entire image set to reconstruct the similarity matrix, and then rank medical images on this new manifold. In contrast to most of the algorithms that only concern manifold structure, the proposed method integrates pairwise constraint information in a feedback procedure and resolves the small sample size and the asymmetrical training typically in relevance feedback. We also introduce a long-term feedback strategy for our retrieval tasks. Experiments on two medical image datasets indicate the proposed approach can significantly improve the performance of medical image retrieval. The experiments also indicate that the proposed approach outperforms previous relevance feedback models.

  • The protection of medical information by major Issues on medical information to protect the individuals' privacy on medical information. Especially, Issues of medical service information, medical record, insurance, employment, Genetic technology including genetic test and screening, gene therapy and genetic enhancement is developing rapidly. Defensibility of medical information documentation is tested in the courts. medical information can be illicitly accessed from anywhere and transmitted across the quickly and with risk of detection. Once data is distributed on the internet, it may become available to anyone who wishes to purchase it, and it cannot be expunge. Patient privacy protection of medical information is controlled mostly by patient consent laws that define how and when a patient must consent before a physician may disclose the patient's medical information to anyone else. enterprise that offers consumers commodities or services is checking problem about customer information of management system is checking problem about customer information of management system essentially. Therefore, in this paper will find a way out to Protection of medical information by major Issues on medical information.

  • It is natural that the medical advertisement should be guaranteed as part of the basic commercial activities of medical institutions. However, the general public are non-specialist and they have less informed about medical care than medical specialists, and it is not easy to judge and select medical information. Also, if someone damaged by illegal medical advertising, it cannot be recovered to the original. In this regard, medical advertising has been legislated so that medical organizations can pre - screen the medical laws. However, In December 2015, after the Constitutional Court ruled unconstitutional preliminary censorship, it became virtually impossible to pre-screen. In recent years, illegal medical advertisement have been on the rise, and false and exaggerated medical advertising are increasing the damage to medical consumers. Therefore it is urgent to take countermeasures about this. Thus, this paper try to analyzes the characteristics of general commercial and other medical advertisements and looks for alternatives that can minimize the damage caused by illegal medical advertisements and institutional weaknesses by analyzing the regulatory trends in medical advertising.

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) connects all markets and industries, enabling new business models for a variety of services and service providers. The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) not only accelerates medical advances, but also enables treatment with a more human approach. In addition, it improves treatment methods and quality of precision medical care through data, enables timely treatment, and improves operational productivity of medical institutions through a simplified workflow. However, since the medical field directly affects human health and life, securing security has become an issue above all else, and is a target for hackers trying to exploit it. Therefore, in this study, IoMT technology and security threats and countermeasures in the medical field are analyzed.

  • The development of information technology such as the internet has brought about rapidly changes the old medical technology, e-Healthcare has been to raise social issue. The e-Healthcare which new turning point of paradigm in the medical information develops the medical policy in Korea and the technology, the prospective of reverse engineering in internet environment is incurring problems such as distribution of critical information and invasion and infringement of privacy, etc. In this research, we suggest the Role Based Access Control System, HPIP-e-Healthcare Privacy Information Protection, for solving above problem. The HPIP is composed 4 mechanisms such as Consolidate User Identity, Hospital Authorization, Medical Record Access Control, Patient Diagnosis and we are also prototyping the HPIP for feasible approach in the real computing environment.

  • Blockchain technology is a new paradigm that will change existing business processes and has a significant impact on all industries, not just on specific industries. The medical industry also expects the impact of blockchain technology to be very significant. I think blockchain technology should be applied in the medical industry because the medical industry has the problem of information asymmetry due to the structural characteristics of a centralized system composed of hospitals. However, no one can be sure that the value of blockchain technology is absolutely right, and absolute trust should be avoided. Blockchain technology provides many limitations to the process in which blockchain technology is applied in the medical industry, as it can be seen as still immature in terms of security and scalability. Therefore, we analyze the application cases of blockchain technology in the medical field, current problems in the medical field, solutions and issues through Blockchain.

  • The augmented reality(AR) technology enables to acquire various image information at the same time by combining virtual image information with the user's viewpoint. These AR technologies have been used to visualize patients' organs and tissues during surgery and diagnosis in the fields of Image-Guide Operation, Surgical Training, and Image Diagnosis by medical convergence, and provides the most effective surgical methods. In this paper, we study the technical features and application methods of each element technology for medical fusion of AR technology. In the AR technology for medical convergence, display, marker recognition and image synthesis interface technology is essential for efficient medical image. Such AR technology is considered to be a way to drastically improve current medical technology in the fields of image guide surgery, surgical education, and imaging diagnosis.

  • Background: Stroke patients usually experience damage to multiple functions and a long rehabilitation period. Hence, there is a large volume of patient clinical information. It thus takes a long time for clinicians to identify the patient's information and essential pieces of information may be overlooked. To solve this, we stored the essential clinical information of stroke patients in a blockchain and implemented the blockchain technology using the Java programming language. Methods: We created a mini blockchain to store the medical information of patients using the Java programming language. Results: After generating a unique pair of public/private keys for identity verification, a patient's identity is verified by applying the Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm based on the generated keys. When the identity verification is complete, new medical data are stored in the transaction list and the generated transaction is verified. When verification is completed normally, the block hash value is derived using the transaction value and the hash value of the previous block. The hash value of the previous block is then stored in the generated block to interconnect the blocks. Conclusion: We demonstrated that blockchain can be used to store and deliver the patient information of stroke patients. It may be difficult to directly implement the code that we developed in the medical field, but it can serve as a starting point for the creation of a blockchain system to be used in the field.

  • The healthcare industry is a digital healthcare that combines technology based on the 4th Industrial Revolution, dealing with information on individual health and medical care, and is a fusion of health care services and medical science and technology. It is questionable whether digital healthcare according to the paradigm change can be discussed by the concept of medical practice under the existing Medical Act. There is no clear definition of the concept of medical practice in the Medical Service Act, but the concept is established through precedents. In addition, under the Medical Service Act, the subject of medical practice is limited to medical personnel. However, digital healthcare sometimes diagnoses and treats diseases using digital technology by medical personnel. On the other hand, what is possible by non-medical personnel is digital healthcare. This is because digital healthcare is understood as a concept that includes health care such as exercise, eating habits, and weight control. For this reason, if the concept of medical practice under the "Medical Act" on digital healthcare is included, it is subject to criminal punishment for "unlicensed medical practice" prescribed in Article 27 of the "Medical Act". In the health and medical industry, digital transformation and convergence with information and communication technology are rapidly progressing. As a result, there is a need to newly define it as 'digitalized medical practice' or 'information and communication technology (ICT)-based medical practice' separately from existing medical practices. The concept of medical practice has variability, not a fixed and invariable concept. However, in response to this demand, it is not an infinite expansion of the concept of medical practice, but a request to reset its scope. Therefore, the concept of medical practice should be legislated by reflecting the demand of consumers for the medical service system.
