병원의 가족친화경영이 기혼여성간호사의 재직의도에 미치는 영향: 일-가정 상호작용 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Hospitals' Family Friendly Management on Married Female Nurses' Retention Intention: Focused on the Mediating Effects of Work-Family Interface)

  • Purpose: This study examined the effect of hospitals' family-friendly management on married female nurses' retention intention. The focus was the mediating effects of the work-family interface (work-family conflict, work-family enrichment and work-family balance). Methods: This study was a cross-sectional study. The participants were 307 nurses working at five public and five private hospitals with more than 200 beds in Seoul. Data were collected using structured questionnaires from September 10 to September 17, 2018 and analyzed with SPSS 24.0. Data were analyzed using an independent t-test, a one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression following the Baron and Kenny method and Sobel test for mediation. Results: There were significant correlations among family-friendly management, the work-family interface, and retention intention. Work-family conflict showed a partial mediating effect on the relationship between family-friendly management and retention intention. Work-family enrichment showed a partial mediating effect on the relationship between family-friendly management and retention intention. Work-family balance showed a partial mediating effect on the relationship between family-friendly management and retention intention. Conclusion: These findings indicate that both hospitals' family-friendly management and nurses' work-family interface are important factors associated with nurses' retention intention. Therefore, hospitals should actively implement family-friendly management for nurses and establish strategies to enhance nurses' work-family interface for effective human resource management.

  • 마케팅-영업-인터페이스(MSI) 능력은 영업사원들이 시장에서의 지식과 경험을 보다 효과적으로 조직 내부 자원들과 소통하는 능력으로서 영업성과에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 제약회사 영업사원의 마케팅-영업-인터페이스(MSI) 능력이 직무만족도를 통해 영업성과에 영향을 미치는 매개효과를 분석하였다. 전국 제약회사 5곳의 영업사원을 대상으로 2021년 4월 15일부터 4월 23일까지 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 257부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 분석 결과 영업사원이 지각하는 MSI능력은 직무만족도 및 영업성과에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 보였다. 또한 제약회사 영업사원이 지각하는 MSI능력은 직무만족도를 매개하여 영업성과에 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 보였다. 분석결과는 제약회사 영업사원의 영업성과 향상을 위해 MSI능력과 직무만족도의 중요성을 시사하며, 직무만족도의 매개효과에 주목하여 영업사원 관리와 관련된 방안 마련이 필요함을 보여준다.

A Conceptual Framework to Study the Effectiveness of Interface Management in Construction Projects

  • The management of mega construction projects which incorporate a large number of stakeholders, technologies, data, work culture etc., is cumbersome. The experts in the construction arena advocate that interface management serves as a precise tool in resolving these conflict points due to the intricate nature of the construction projects. Interface management is a current trending management practice in the construction industry which is also a beneficiary to mega/fast track projects in enhancing the project performance. The main objective of this study is to validate a model for assessing the relationships among interface management, IT applications, project performance & project benefits. The mediating effect of interface management in relationship between project performance & interfacial factors was also investigated. The research model was validated using PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modelling) approach. Data were collected from clients, contractors, consultants in large scale projects through questionnaire survey and smart-PLS software was used to analyse the conceptual model. The research model comprises eleven hypothesis and the significance of these hypothesis were tested using T- statistics values. The research implies that people/participants factor is greatly influenced by interface management with the path coefficient of 0.608 and also enhancement of project's schedule performance due to the interface management is strongly appealing (Path coefficient = 0.711). The results also reveal IT application is significantly associated with interface management practice (Path coefficient =0.723) and also the effect of IT application on project performance (schedule, cost, quality & safety) is successfully mediated through interface management practice. The practical application of this validated model was done through case study. The case study aims at measuring the impact of interface management on interfacial factors and role of interface management in improving the project performance in the construction organisations.

체감형 학습을 위한 매개 디바이스의 디자인 요구사항 - 프로토콜 분석법을 통한 미취학 아동의 행동 패턴 분석 (Design requirements of mediating device for total physical response - A protocol analysis of preschool children's behavioral patterns)

  • 미취학 아동의 창의적 사고, 다양한 경험 기반의 학습 활동, 그리고 인성 및 감성 중심의 교육에 대한 욕구를 충족시켜줄 수 있는 새로운 교육 방식으로써 체감형 교육 방식의 보급이 활발해지고 있다. 체감형 학습은 사용자의 움직임이나 감각을 통해 디지털 교육 콘텐츠를 조작하는 인간-컴퓨터 인터랙션을 활용한 교육 방식이다. 그러나 사람의 움직임이나 목소리 같은 음성/영상 인식의 정확도가 높지 않아 실제 교육 시스템 적용에는 한계를 보인다. 이러한 한계점의 극복을 위해 인간과 서비스 콘텐츠 사이에 매개체를 두고 이를 통해 사람의 움직임을 가속도, 각속도와 같은 숫자 값으로 변환/전송하여 인터랙션 하는 매개 인터페이스 개념이 제안된다. 본 연구에서는, 교육 시스템의 대상인 미취학 아동의 행동을 관찰하고 프로토콜 분석을 통하여 사용자 중심의 매개 디바이스 디자인 요구사항을 제안한다. 분석 결과, 미취학 아동들은 물체를 조작하는 데 서툴고, 무의식적으로 물체를 만지작거리거나 기대는 행동을 보였다. 또한 물건을 사용할 때 그에 종속되어 행동의 부자연스러움을 보였다. 따라서 체감형 교육을 위한 매개 디바이스는 사용자의 익숙하지 않은 조작을 보조할 수 있어야 하며, 디바이스 사용 중에도 자연스러운 행동을 유지할 수 있도록 디자인되어야 한다.

사용자 인지기능을 매개로 스마트폰 애플리케이션의 사용자환경 디자인이 애플리케이션 이용성과에 미치는 영향 (Smartphone Application's User Interface Design, User's Cognitive Functions, and Work Performance)

  • Nowadays, smartphones have become a portable multimedia computer because of a variety of useful applications in our daily lives, which can be downloaded and installed easily in smartphones. Despite of the fact that, however in the IS literature there has been little research on smartphone applications' user interface design. Specifically, there has been little understanding about smartphone users' cognitive functions as a mediating variable in the relationship between the user interface design of smartphone applications and users' work performance with the applications. Thus, the research aims of this study are to examine 1) the effects of the user interface design attributes including simplicity, consistency, and metaphor on the compliance with or the extension of users' mental models representing users' cognitive functions, and 2) the effects of the users' cognitive functions on their work performance with the applications. A survey was conducted and Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) was employed to analyze the data. The results of this study showed that two of the user interface design attributes, simplicity and consistency, strongly affected users' cognitive functions. In addition, users' cognitive functions significantly influenced users' work performance. However, there was no relationship between the metaphors in the user interfaces of smartphone applications and the compliance with users' mental model. This study contributed theoretically not only to explore users' mental models that are rarely investigated in the IS field, but also to add some findings related to users' cognitive functions to the IS literature. This study also can help practitioners to develop more user friendly user interfaces of smartphone applications by suggesting the design attributes, such as simplicity, consistency, and metaphor.

사용자환경의 메타포가 스마트폰 애플리케이션 사용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Metaphors in the Interface of Smartphone Applications on Users' Intention to Use)

  • It is not too much to say that smartphones have become an essential part of our lives due to their versatility. Nevertheless, they still have less overall capabilities than their desktop counterparts. Specifically, they have small screens and low resolutions, which make their applications difficult to have a usable interface. To account for these limitations, the interface of smartphone applications should be designed carefully and properly. Good interface design to any application is critical. However, a comprehensive information systems (IS) literature review found that there has been little research on the user interface design of smartphone applications. More specifically, there has been little empirical evidence and understanding about how metaphors, an imaginative way of describing objects and concepts, in the user interface of smartphone applications affect users' intention to use the applications. Thereby, the research goals of this study are to examine 1) the effects of the metaphors in the user interface of smartphone applications on the interaction between users and applications and 2) the effects of mediating variables including the interaction between users and applications, users' beliefs and attitudes, on users' intention to use the applications. A survey was conducted to collect data. University students and practitioners participated in the survey. A 24-item questionnaire was developed on a 5-point Likert-type scale. The measurement items were mostly adapted from the previous studies in the IS literature and modified to fit the context of this study. First, a principal component factor analysis was performed to explore the inter-relationships among a set of variables. The analysis showed that most of the items loaded quite strongly on the six components. The analysis also revealed the six components with eigenvalues exceeding 1, explaining a total of 70.7 per cent of the variance. The reliabilities of the items were also checked. Most Cronbach alpha values were above 0.8, so the scales were considered reliable. In sum, the results of the analysis support the decision to retain the six factors for further investigation. Next, the structural model was analyzed with AMOS structural equation modeling. The values of GFI, AGFI, NFI, TLI, CFI, and RMSEA were checked. The values showed that the research model considerably have a good fit in general. Next, the convergent and discriminant validities of all constructs were examined. The values for the standardized regression weights and critical ration (CR) indicated sufficient convergent validity for all constructs. In addition, the square root of the average variance extracted (AVE) of each construct was compared with its correlations with all other constructs. The results supported discriminant validity for all constructs. In sum, the results of analysis demonstrated adequate convergent and discriminant validities for all constructs. Finally, path coefficients between the variables were examined. Methphor was found to have an impact on interaction (${\beta}$ = .457, p = .000). There were also significant effects of the interaction on perceived usefulness (${\beta}$ = .273, p = .000) and ease of use (${\beta}$ = .405, p = .000). User attitude was significantly influenced by these two beliefs, perceived usefulness (${\beta}$ = .386, p = .000) and ease of use (${\beta}$ = .347, p = .000) respectively. Further, the results of analysis found that users' intention to use smartphone applications was significantly influenced by user attitude (${\beta}$ = .567, p = .000). Based upon the analyses, all hypotheses were supported. This study found that the metaphors used in the interface of smartphone applications affect not only the interaction between users and applications, but also users' intention to use the applications through the mediating variables, perceived usefulness and ease of use. These findings imply that if the metaphors used in the user interface of application are easy enough to understand for smartphone users, then the application can be perceived useful and easy to use, which in turn make users to have an intention to use the application. In conclusion, this study contributed not only to validate and extend Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) partially, but also to develop the construct of metaphor in smartphone settings. However, since a single empirical study cannot be enough to validate the findings, some limitations should be considered.

현대 건축에서 나타난 현상적 공간에 관한 연구 - 스위스건축가 작품을 중심으로 - (A Study on The Phenomenal Space in The Contemporary Architecture - Focus on the analysis of The architecture of Swiss architects -)

  • The purpose of this study clarifies an expression characteristic of the phenomenal space. The architecture is an interface between human and nature. Nature presents herself as phenomena. Thus, the phenomenal space should be approached as the essence of architecture that is to accommodate nature. Phenomenon is related to everyday life and shares flow naturally within it. The phenomenon and everyday life form a relationship through the mediating elements that are time, place, and image. If these mediating elements are developed as spatialized elements, time becomes the converse, place becomes the overlap, and shape becomes the revealing. Also, spatial components that are substituted with these elements are void/solid, form, and materials. The relational characteristics of phenomenal space can be identified through these, and such characteristics are one-ness, continuity, and coincidence of opposites. Phenomenal space is expressed with spatial tones and accepted as spatial atmospheres. For the analysis, 15 works of swiss architects were selected to which spatial elements were applied. And It were composed that analysis by arranging these components as the relational network found that expression characteristics. Trough the analysis, It was found that expression characteristics of phenomenal space of the architecture of Swiss architects were prototypicality, primitiveness, and originality. As a results, It is considered that the role of the space that contains the value of everyday life, the value of the phenomenon is necessary.

베트남 A 병원의 의료서비스 품질이 추천의도에 미치는 영향 : 고객 만족도 매개효과를 중심으로 (Effect of Healthcare Quality on Recommended Intention in Vietnam A Hospital : Focusing on Customer Satisfaction Mediated Effects)

  • This study aims to analyze the quality and satisfaction of healthcare perceived by patients using hospitals and to provide basic data necessary for expanding and settling Vietnamese healthcare services by analyzing the impact on recommendation intentions. The research method selected one hospital in Vietnam and collected data from patients using the hospital and used a total of 286 effective samples as data for hypothesis verification. The research model and hypothesis verification were analyzed with the statistical data from SPSS and AMOS. The findings show that, first, tangibility, accessibility, and reliability all have a positive effect on the quality of healthcare. Second, it has been shown that only accessibility among the quality of healthcare has a positive effect on recommendation intentions. Third, customer satisfaction has been shown to have a positive effect on recommendation intentions. Fourth, when looking at the mediating effect, reliability among the quality of healthcare was shown as a full-mediated effect, but accessibility was shown to have a partial mediating effect and tangibility to have no mediating effect. Contact management is important because customer satisfaction is highly regarded when customers feel positive emotions at the interface from the provision of convenience facilities that support medical services to the reduction of waiting time for patients, employees kindness, treatment, medication, and inspection. It is also confirmed that the demand for convenient and rapid use of hospitals is increasing in Vietnam. In addition, if customer satisfaction is increased through friendly medical staff's response, the intention of recommendation will be even greater.

컴포넌트 재사용을 지원하는 컴포넌트 모델 및 프레임워크 (A New Component Model and Framework for Reuse of Components)

  • 독립적으로 개발된 상용 컴포넌트들을 소스 코드 수정 없이 조립하여 재사용하기 위해서는 컴포넌트간 인터페이스 불일치 문제를 해결해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 새로운 컴포넌트 모델 및 조립 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 컴포넌트 모델은 각 컴포넌트가 서비스를 제공하는 하위 컴포넌트의 인터페이스에 의존하는 대신 서비스 요청에 관한 인터페이스를 독자적으로 정의하여 내장하고 이를 메타데이타로 노출한다. 조립 시에는 컴포넌트들의 요청 및 서비스 제공 인터페이스에 대한 메타데이타를 읽어 글루 컴포넌트 템플릿 코드를 자동 생성하여 인터페이스 정합에 필요한 중재 코드를 삽입하는 구조이다. 또 프레임워크에서 컴포넌트들에 대한 인스턴스를 관리하고 런타임시 의존성 주입 방식으로 조립을 수행하며, 글루 컴포넌트를 미들웨어 서비스 포인트 및 실시간 모니터링 포인트로 활용하는 방안도 제안한다. 이와 한께 본 논문은 제안한 컴포넌트 모델에 따르는 컴포넌트를 개발하고 조림하는 도구를 구현하여, 실용 가능성을 입증하였다.

웹사이트의 정보 모델과 사용성의 관계 (A Study on the Relation Between Information Model and Usability of Website)

  • 웹사이트는 다양한 컨텐츠 영역에서 여러 유형의 사용자 활동을 지원하며, 이에 따라 주요 인터페이스 디자인 문제를 추출하기 위한 서로 다른 접근을 요구한다. 본 연구에서는 웹사이트의 매체적 역할을 중심으로 개발자, 사용자, 웹사이트간의 관계를 이해하고 사용성에 관한 디자인 요소들에 대해 보다 체계적인 관점에서 파악함으로써 인터페이스 구현의 기초적인 틀을 마련하고자 한다. 매체적 측면에서 웹사이트는 사용자와 개발자 사이에 존재하는 일종의 정보체라 할 수 있다. 사용성을 중심으로 한 정보체의 형성에는 사용자, 개발자, 웹사이트 및 여러 환경적 요인들과 관련된 다양한 디자인 요소들이 포함된다. 이는 궁극적으로 정보체를 매개로 한 상호작용에 있어서 사용자와 정보체가 보다 수용하는 상태, 즉 공통적인 개념모델의 형성을 위한 것이 되어야 한다. 이를 위해서는 사용자 목표 및 인지적, 정서적 측면의 사용자 특성에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 크게 합목적성, 효율성, 주관적 만족의 사용성이 요구된다. 이러한 맥락에 따라 정보체의 기본 구조 즉, 정보 모델을 설정하고 이에 따른 디자인 요소 및 이의 특질에 대해 파악한다. 정보모델은 크게 내용 수준, 구성 수준, 표현 수준으로 구분할 수 있으며 각 수준별로 사용자의 적절한 인지적, 정서적 측면의 작용을 위한 디자인 요소들을 파악함으로써 인터페이스 디자인의 주요 문제를 체계적으로 이해한다.
