미디어 관여도가 외모평가, 외모스트레스, 외모관리행동에 미치는 영향 (Media Involvement on Appearance Evaluation, Appearance Stress, and Appearance Management Behavior)

  • This study examined the effect of media involvement on appearance evaluation, appearance stress, and appearance management behavior. Data were collected from 315 female university students in Daejeon and Chungnam from May to June 2013. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, path analysis using the SPSS-WIN 20.0, AMOS 20.0 program. The results of this study were as follows. First, media involvement were classified into low and high groups. There were significant differences in appearance evaluation by level of involvement. The low group of media involvement indicated a more positive appearance evaluation than the high group. Second, there were significant differences in the appearance management behavior by level of involvement. Third, media involvement directly affected appearance evaluation and appearance management behavior. Appearance evaluation affected appearance stress and appearance management behavior. This study verified the structural relationship of media involvement, appearance stress, and appearance management behavior as outward behavior variables.

소셜미디어와 PDM 시스템을 활용한 협업적 제품자료관리 교육 (Education of Collaborative Product Data Management by Using Social Media in a Product Data Management System)

  • This study proposes an approach to Product Data Management (PDM) education for collaborative product data management, which can support collaborative product development process. This approach introduces social media and a PDM system into a framework for PDM education supported by consistent product development process and product data model. It has been applied to two PDM classes and the result shows that the social media in PDM education can support not only experiences of the collaborative product data management but also interactive and informal communications among instructors and participants using integrated social media with product data during courses.

메시지 프레이밍이 소셜미디어 신뢰도 및 행동의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Message Framing on Social Media Credibility and Behavioral Intentions)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of message framing of social media contents on social media credibility and behavioral intention and the role of customers' gourmet restaurant involvement. In this study message framing is divided into regulatory focus and message sidedness and used experimental stimulus composed of $2{\times}2$ factorial design. Also investigated the effect into the social media credibility and behavioral intention. A total of 560 valid samples were analyzed. According to the results, it was confirmed that stimuli 'two-sided / prevention' and 'one-side / promotion' framing were the most influential framing on social media credibility and behavioral intention and the social media credibility has significant effect on the behavioral intention. In this study the effect of message framing which was not widely used in the hospitality industry research was confirmed. Also the usefulness of regulatory focus and message sidedness were identified in the various research in hospitality management.

Prospects and Challenges of Social Media Marketing: Study of Indian Management Institutes

  • Purpose - The research aimed to reveal real decisional behavioral of management institutes in India for social media marketing usage, and analyses of empirical elements of social media consumption pattern. Research design, data, and methodology - The investigation was based around a research methodology using quantitative analysis with appropriate statistical techniques on random surveys of consumers, detailed exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses are applied to assess the empirical validity of the model and multiple regression employed using R studio edition to validate the reliability of the developed models. Results - A new conceptual framework is proposed - the management institutions decision model, providing a tool for effective and more focused decision-making strategies for developing better utilization techniques for social media. Management institutions have different requirements based upon objectives and resources available. The evidence suggests that the administrators need to be more aware of consumer indicators when targeting and designing social media marketing strategy. Conclusions - The research was based on samples and not the entire population of target consumers, providing limitations. As an inferential statistical method was chosen, the results might be susceptible to inaccuracy. The model developed from different age users, thereby providing rich perspectives into social media usage pattern.

  • The goal of this research is to look into the relationship between social media marketing activities and brand attachment in the online marketing business, based on the indirect effect of perceived value and self-brand connections. For this reason, the study has used self-administered questionnaires to collect the data from 425 males from the major cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, and Sialkot. Furthermore, based on the PLS-SEM technique the empirical findings show that social media marketing activities positively affect perceived value, self-brand connections, and brand attachment. Perceived value has a significant positive impact on brand attachment and mediates the influence of social media marketing activities on brand attachment. In addition to this, self-brand connections have a positive effect on brand attachment, and self-brand connections mediate the relationship between them. Thus, firms employing social media marketing activities successfully in their branding build upon a positive perception of the brand in the customer's mind resulting in customer attachment with the brand. This study can assist the e-commerce managers and brand managers in building strong customer attachment via perceived value and self-brand connections.

미디어선택이 최종사용자의 만족도에 미치는 영향: SERVQUAL 연구 틀을 이용한 실증적 연구 (The Impact of Media Selection on End - user Satisfaction : An Empirical Study Based on SERVQUAL Framework)

  • In this paper, we investigate the relationship between the use of different media and customer satisfaction in help desk service. Different dimensions of customer satisfaction were derived based on SERVQUAL : reliability, empathy, assurance, tangibles, and responsiveness. The results support our hypotheses that use of conventional media (face-to-face and telephone) is related to help desk satisfaction through reliability and empathy and electronic media (e-mali and internet) users show higher satisfaction in tangibles and assurance. Also, hybrid media users (multi-media users by task) show a higher level of satisfaction in reliability and responsibility. The results suggest that automating help desks should be considered as a way to provide more options to end-users.

  • With the rapid development of digital media, there has been a huge change in a way of communication, a process of information diffusion and a role of traditional media. Not like mass media, social media enables users to generate and tap into the opinions of a larger world. From that reason, social media is impacting marketing strategies. However, still social media marketing researches just focus on case study, analysis of users motivation or analysis of power user's usage pattern. Word-of-mouth has always been important especially in marketing area. In social media, word-of-mouth depends on each user that's why this research focuses on individual user's activity in SNS. I defined 4 factors (produce, diffusion, network size, activity of network size enlarge) that are effect on activity and verified hypothesis by multiple regression analysis, hierarchical regression analysis and moderated multiple regression.

소셜미디어 특성이 경영성과 및 인지도에 미치는 영향: 시니어기업의 고객·마케팅관리를 중심으로 (Social media and its impact on management performance and recognition: focusing on social media utilization of senior corporate)

  • 소셜미디어를 활용한 마케팅에서 기존의 전통매체와 달리 새로운 방식으로 접근할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구는 이론적 실증적 연구를 통해 소셜미디어의 특성인 정보제공성, 상호작용성, 유희성 그리고 브랜드 인지도가 경영성과와 기업인지도에 미치는 영향관계를 검증하였다. 그 결과 정보제공성 특성이 높아질수록 또한 상호작용성 특성과 브랜드 인지도관리 특성이 높아질수록 기업성과도 높아지는 것으로 조사되었다. 그러나 유희성 특성이 높아질수록 기업인지도에는 음(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 소셜미디어를 활용하는 사용자는 연령별로도 이용자의 개인 성향과 이용동기에 따라 소셜미디어 이용정도와 이용방식에도 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 소셜미디어 특성과 경영성과에 있어 소셜미디어의 특정 부분만 관리하는 것이 아니라 고객관리활용과 마케팅활용의 중요함을 제시하였으며 기업의 경영성과 및 이미지를 높이기 위해서는 소셜미디어의 특성에 대한 활용이 중요하고 시니어기업의 소셜미디어 활용도가 갈수록 높아지는 만큼 시니어관련 교육에 소셜미디어 관련 홍보마케팅 항목이 필수적임을 알 수 있었다.

  • 정보량의 빅뱅, 전자기록물의 대량 생산, 다양한 기록매체의 출현 등 급변하는 기술변화 환경 하에서 안정적인 전자기록 관리체계 구축 운영을 위해서는 적극적으로 관련 기술 흐름과 발전 방향을 이해하고 준비 대응해나가는 것이 매우 중요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 우선 현재 기록매체와 관련된 기록관리 법령과 표준 등의 미비점을 도출하였다. 제도의 개선 방향을 모색하고자 기록매체와 관련된 기술 현황과 기록매체의 수명과 관련된 연구 결과들을 분석하는 동시에 미국, 영국 등 해외 사례들을 살펴보았다. 이와 같은 분석 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서 기록매체 종류의 확대, 기록매체 선택 요소의 수정 보완, 기록매체의 효율적인 관리 방안 등 제도적인 개선 방향을 제시하였다.
