CAD 시스템에서의 고체추진기관 체결류 설계에 대한 연구 (Design of Fastener for Solid Rocket Motor Using Solid CAD System)

  • 체결류는 일반 제품을 설계할 때 널리 사용되며, 일반 부품에 비하여 표준화가 잘 되어 규격화 되어있다는 특징이 있다. 그래서 체결류를 설계할 때에는 먼저 수식을 사용하여 원하는 기능을 가진 체결류를 계산하고, 최종 사양은 규격에서 계산된 용량을 만족하는 것을 선택한다. 이 연구에서는 이러한 체결류 설계의 특징을 살리며 삼차원 CAD 시스템에서 편리하게 체결류 설계를 할 수 있는 시스템에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 이 시스템에서 자동으로 설계하기에 적합한 체결류 형상을 정의하였으며, 체결류 설계에 필요한 설계 인자와 형상 치수를 규격에서 추출하여 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 또한 체결류를 설계할 때 사용하는 설계식을 구현하여 설계식의 입력 인자와 출력 인자를 규격으로부터 추출한 데이터베이스 및 형상 치수와 연결시켰다.

원 스테이션 파스너 자동포장기 개발(I): 패킹 메커니즘의 최적설계 (Development of Automatic Packing System of One Station for Fasteners(I): Optimization Design of Packing Mechanism)

  • In this paper, we proposed an automatic packing mechanism of one station concept for fastener objects where the continuous work is performed in a finite space. The proposed packing mechanism is composed of supporting frame, feeding supply, air shower device, clamping/opening device, batch charging device, sealing/cutting device and supply adjusting device. And, these mechanisms have been modularized through mechanical, dynamical, structural and fluid optimized design using the SMO(SimDesigner Motion) analysis module. Also, the virtual prototype was carried out using the 3-D CAD program. The packing process is consisted performed in the order of feeding, clamping, bottom sealing, cutting, opening, object charging, closing and the upper sealing. And the time of these cycles were designed to be completed in 15-20 seconds. This packing mechanism will be created as a prototype in the near future. In addition, it will be applied to the production scenes after going through a field test for the validation of performance.

볼트 체결시 진동에 의한 마찰계수 변화에 관한 실험 (An Experimental Study of Friction Coefficient Variation Due to Vibration for Bolted Joint)

  • It is very important to connect machinery and maintain it. This is usually done by bolt joint. There are two ways in connecting the bolt joint : the angle method and the torque method. The torque method is a method that let the clamping force maintain. The underhead of the bolt's head and the thread friction are the main influences. This study focuses on how the clamping farce and friction coefficient change under the condition in vibrating the underhead of the bolt's head part. As a result, under vibration condition, we found out that the clamping farce increases, while the friction coefficient decreases.

  • The object of this experimental study is to investigate influences of vibrator amplitude on clamping force in vibration for bolted joint. The experiment is that change the vibrator amplitude to check clamping force. also the friction coefficient calculated by equation to use an obtained in experiments. The main purpose of generation vibrations is decreasing the clamping force dispersion. also If vibration occurs while tightening the bolt is reduced coefficient of friction. In this paper, In experiments to measure the clamping force before vibrator's amplitude changing. Vibrator's amplitude changes to 5.5mm from 4.4mm. As a result, under various vibration condition, relationship of clamping force and Vibrator amplitude.

유한요소법을 이용한 CT 시편의 홀확장 잔류응력 및 응력확대계수 해석 (Analysis of the Residual Stress due to Cold Expansion and Stress Intensity Factor in CT Specimen Using Finite Element Method)

  • Cold expansion method is retarded of crack initiation due to the compressive residual stress developed on the hole surface. Previous research has just been study about residual stress distribution in the hole surrounding. But, The purpose of this study was to improve the understanding of the residual stress effect in hole surrounding as crack growth from another hole. In this paper, it is shown that residual stress is redistributed due to the application of cold expansion process for CT specimen using finite element method. It is further shown that tensile stress increases in proportion to cold expansion ratio in the vicinity of crack. It is thought that stress intensity factor increases with cold expansion ratio.

A Study of the Mechanical Properties of Patch-Bonded and Riveted Repairs on Cracked Al 6061-T6 alloy Structures

  • A comparison of Riveted and bonded repairs, bearing and net tension failures, and Al 6061-T6 plates is presented. The results are then compared with previous papers about bonded repairs on different patch materials and shapes. Aluminum alloys, including Al 6061-T6, have a face-centered-cubic crystal structure. Under normal circumstances, these types of crystal structures do not exhibit cleavage fractures even at very low temperatures. In aluminum-base structures, the cracked plate structures are frequently repaired using mechanical fasteners-either rivets of bolts- even though patch-bonding techniques are applied to repair and reinforce the structure. Static test results indicate that the riveted repairs are affected by the position of the rivers. When using the same size of patch, the bonded repair technique is stronger; the rate of elongation is also increased. Form FEM analysis, it is revealed the origin of patch debonding in patch-bonded structures is the edge of the patch along to the tensile strength.

내진성능 향상을 위한 밸브지지대 최적형상 설계 (Design Optimization of Valve Support with Enhanced Seismic Performance)

  • In this study, modal analysis and equivalent static load analysis for valve supports of 26" gas piping in gas stations were conducted and the existing straight and inclined types of valve supports were compared using seismic performance testing. Also, a new valve support shape was suggested by optimizing position of fastener holes, width and thickness of the support, and size of bracket. Improvement in seismic performance by design optimization was verified through equivalent static load analysis. The seismic performance of the newly proposed valve support was greatly improved and the maximum displacement and maximum stress of the seismic load was about 20% lower than those of the existing valve support.

휠체어 전동주행 보조기기용 커넥터의 구조안정성 해석 (Structural Stability Analysis of Connectors for an Electric Handbike)

  • Electric handbike can be easily detachable to various sizes of manual wheelchair and the elderly and people with disabilities can use them easily. Therefore, connectors used for coupling between the handbike and manual wheelchair must secure structural stability for occupant safety. However, related research is rare. The aim of this study is to find the connector with highly structural stability by comparing static and dynamic mechanical characteristics among three typical connectors(a snatch lock, a slide latch, and a fastener) by computational simulations. To perform static and dynamic simulation, we referred to durability test based on Korean Standards and then calculated mechanical stresses in connectors. The results showed that the snatch lock addressed the lowest von-mises stress under the same mechanical condition. Therefore when using the combination of a handbike and a wheelchair, we concluded that the snatch lock is considered as the structurally stable connector to structural stability and usability.

목조건축 해체 고목재의 재질특성 및 강도성능 (Wood Quality and Strength Properties of Old Structural Members)

  • 목조건축물로부터 해체된 고목재를 해당 건축물의 복원이나 새로운 건축물에 재사용하기 위해서는 열화 및 부후 부위를 제외한 건전재의 재질 및 강도성능에 대한 평가가 필요하다. 트러스 현재로 사용된 부재와 사찰에 사용된 부재에 대해 현미경으로 수종식별을 행하고 KS 기준에 따라 각종 물성 및 강도 시험을 행하여 문헌에 의한 결과와 비교 검토하였다. 잎갈나무(Korean larch)는 재질 및 강도 성능이 기존 문헌값보다 높게 나타났으며, 소나무(Korean red pine)와 가문비나무(Yezo spruce)의 경우 해체재의 강도성능이 대체적으로 낮게 나타났다. 육안에 의한 건전부위의 시험편 내의 조직적 열화는 현미경적으로도 관찰되지 않았다. 인장시험편의 중앙부 두께가 5 mm에서 3 mm로 변함에 따라 인장강도가 증가하여 시험편 치수에 대한 검토가 필요한 것으로 판단되었으며, 압축 및 휨 시험법은 현행 기준으로도 적합한 수준이었다. 고목재류에 대한 구체적인 기초 강도 성능평가를 위한 시험방법 및 철물접합부의 접합성능에 대한 차후 연구 검토가 필요한 것으로 평가되었다.

  • 홀 확장법은 홀 주위에 압축 잔류응력 층을 생성시킴으로서 균열 발생을 지연시키는 방법으로 항공산업 분야에서 널리 사용되고 있다. 홀 확장잔류응력의 분포는 홀 확장률, 맨드럴 삽입방향, 재료 물성치 등 여러 가지 홀 확장 파라미터에 따라 달리진다. 홀 확장 잔류응력 층의 정확한 파악이 항공사업의 실제 설계에 있어서 매우 중요함에도 불구하고 이에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 부족하였다. 본 연구에서는 3차원 유한요소해석을 통하여 알루미늄 평판에 홀 확장법을 적용하는 경우의 잔류응력 분포를 예측하고자 하였다. 유한요소해석의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 스트레인 게이지를 이용한 홀 확장 잔류변형률을 측정하였으며, 홀 확장률과 2단 홀 확장이 잔류응력 분포에 미치는 영향을 파악하였다. 2단 홀 확장을 적용함으로써 최대 압축 잔류응력의 크기가 약 7% 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.
