  • In this paper, accidents in high-voltage overhead distribution lines, which provide stable power supply in the power system, cause inconvenience in life and disruption of production of companies. 22.9 [kV] high-voltage overhead power distribution lines aim to improve reliability and stability, such as damage caused by rain, snow, wind, etc., or electric shock prevention. Therefore, in order to prevent wire disconnection accidents due to deterioration of electrical conductivity or tensile strength due to corrosion of overhead distribution lines, it is necessary to prevent unexpected accidents in the future through regular inspection and repair. In order to diagnose deterioration due to corrosion of distribution lines, a diagnostic system (measuring instrument) is installed on the wires to monitor the condition of the wires. The manager on the ground receives the measured data through ZigBee wireless communication, controls the diagnosis system through the diagnosis system program, and grasps the condition of the overhead distribution line through the measured data and photographed photos, and predicts the life of the wire along with the visual inspection method. developed a program.

  • The displacement of slope is a key factor in predicting the risk of a landslide. Therefore, the slope displacement should be continuously observed with high accuracy. Recently, high-tech equipment such as optical fiber sensor, GPS, total station and measuring instrument have been used. However, such equipment is poorly used in fields due to economics, environment, convenience and management. Because of this, development of substantial observational techniques for varied slope observation and field applications is needed. This study analyzed the possibility of terrestrial LiDAR for slope monitoring and suggested it as information-obtaining technique for slope investigation and management. For that, this study evaluated the monitoring accuracy of terrestrial LiDAR and performed GRID analysis to read the displacement area with the naked eye. In addition, it suggested a methodology for slope monitoring.

  • The Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO), the first South Korea lunar exploration probe, successfully arrived at the Moon on December, 2022 (UTC), following a 4.5-month ballistic lunar transfer (BLT) trajectory. Since the launch (4 August, 2022), the KPLO magnetometer (KMAG) has carried out various observations during the trans-lunar cruise phase and a 100 km altitude lunar polar orbit. KMAG consists of three fluxgate magnetometers capable of measuring magnetic fields within a ± 1,000 nT range with a resolution of 0.2 nT. The sampling rate is 10 Hz. During the originally planned lifetime of one year, KMAG has been operating successfully while performing observations of lunar crustal magnetic fields, magnetic fields induced in the lunar interior, and various solar wind events. The calibration and offset processes were performed during the TLC phase. In addition, reliabilities of the KMAG lunar magnetic field observations have been verified by comparing them with the surface vector mapping (SVM) data. If the KPLO's mission orbit during the extended mission phase is close enough to the lunar surface, KMAG will contribute to updating the lunar surface magnetic field map and will provide insights into the lunar interior structure and lunar space environment.

  • Shotcrete lining is an important material for the stability of tunnels in NATM tunnels. However, stressmeters for stress measurements of shotcrete lining are installed in the field without performance verification because of a lack of research on methods, procedures, regulations, and reliability of measurement equipment. To solve this problem, all shotcrete stressmeters currently used in Korea were investigated. For each stressmeter, external inspection and structural and functional inspection were performed to identify defects and problems in devices. For this purpose, a shotcrete stressmeter performance test device capable of load loading in stages was developed and obtained KOLAS certification. Using the device, stressmeter performance tests were conducted. Structural problems of integrated- and cell-type shotcrete stressmeters were identified through concrete mold tests, and improvement plans and performance verification procedures were suggested. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the preparation of regulations for the performance verification of shotcrete stressmeters and the selection of measuring instruments in the field in the future.

  • In this paper, we propose a driver condition monitoring system using FMCW in-cabin radar, which is free from wearing inconvenience and privacy issues. Using 77GHz high-precision radar, the system detects changes in eye blinking patterns according to changes in the driving environment and the driver's condition using an adaptive multiple filtering algorithm, and accurately determines drowsy driving by measuring the number of eye blinks and the time it takes to open and close the eyes through the detected data. With the emergence of high-performance radars that are becoming more and more miniaturized, it is possible to embed them in the instrument panel or rearview mirror of the vehicle, and if the driver is judged to be drowsy, it can wake up the driver through an alarm or interlock with the vehicle's driving system to slow down and make an emergency stop to prevent accidents and promote driver safety.

  • The aim of this study is to develop a teamwork self-assessment tool for Korean nursing students (K-self assessment of teamwork) to evaluate the effects of simulation education, and to test the validity of the tool. As the research method, data were collected from 185 third- and fourth-year nursing students who had completed emergency simulation practice courses while attending nursing schools at two universities in K region. The collected data were analyzed using such statistical programs as SPSS/WIN 22.0 and AMOS 17.0. A test of the construct validity was conducted using confirmatory factor analysis and explanatory factor analysis. To test the criterion validity of the K-self assessment of teamwork, its correlation with the Mayo High Performance Teamwork Scale (MHPTS) was analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficients. In addition, of the reliability items, the internal consistency was tested using Chronbach's ${\alpha}$. The results of the study are as follows: The construct validity was demonstrated through the confirmatory factor analysis and explanatory factor analysis. As regards the test of reliability, there was one item for which the reliability of its validity was increased to .937 when a (single/particular) question was removed. However, in the end, no questions were removed, because the correlation coefficient between the questions and the total score was greater than .4. The overall reliability of the K-self assessment tool of teamwork was found to be .934, confirming its reliability. The translated version of the K-self assessment of teamwork developed in this study was also demonstrated to be applicable to domestic settings, in which the teamwork of nursing students can be assessed during simulation education. The results of the use of this tool in the future will be used to assess the effects of simulation education at nursing colleges, and will become the basis of various types of educational programs aimed at improving teamwork in emergency situations.

  • The most scientific and reliable method for deciding the tooth color is the instrumental measurement. However, such color measuring instrument shows the difference of the measuring value according to the diversified measuring condition. This study was conducted to evaluate what effect of the labial surface irregularity of the tooth to the result of the color measured by spectrometer. 11 models of the teeth were made by injecting the A2 shade Luxatemp Automix Plus (DMG, Germany) into the impression acquired from 11 adults. Standard disk samples (15 mm diameter, 7 mm thickness) were made with same material. CIE $L^*a^*b^*$ value was measured at the incisal, central, and gingival area of the central incisor, lateral incisor, canine and first premolar using Specbos 2100 (JETI, Germany) spectrometer. Color difference was calculated between labial surface and standard samples. Among all models of the teeth, $L^*\;and\;b^*$ value showed the reducing tendency as they go toward the gingival area, but $a^*$ value showed the increasing tendency. Color difference between model teeth and standard samples showed the most difference at the incisal area, but the gingival area showed the least difference. And the canine showed the least color difference from the comparison of standard sample, and the central incisor showed the highest difference (p < 0.01). Although the visually detectable difference of the measuring value showed notably depending on the type and measured area (p < 0.05), $L^*\;and\;a^*$ value showed notable differences depending more on the measured areas than on the type of the teeth.
