한국인의 Straight Wire Bracket의 형태에 관한 연구 (A MORPHOLOGIC STUDY ON STRAIGHT WIRE BRACKET FOR KOREAN)

  • The purpose of this study was to obtain the norm of the crown shape (tip, torque, in/out) and arch form, and to provide basic data for fabricating straight wire bracket and ideal arch wire for Korean. 100 subjects aged from 17 to 26 (50 females, 50 males) were selected with a normal occlusion. By measuring the size, angulation, inclination, arch width, facial prominance of the teeth and the molar offset, the following results were obtained. 1. Average, standard deviation, minimum, maximum of each measuring item for each teeth were obtained. 2. Intermolar width (${\underline{6}}$ to ${\underline{6}}$) of upper arch before occlusal surface cutting and intermolar width of upper arch (${\underline{6}}$ to ${\underline{6}}$, ${\underline{7}}$ to ${\underline{7}}$) after occlusal surface cutting showed statistical difference. There was no difference between sexes in any other measuring items. 3. Arch form and specification of straight wire bracket for Korean who have normal occlusion was obtained.

제 IV 형 근관에서 System B Plugger tip의 깊이에 따른 근관 충전 효과 (THE EFFECT OF CANAL OBTURATION ACCORDING TO THE DEPTH OF THE SYSTEM B PLUGGER TIP IN THE TYPE IV CANAL)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 제 IV형 근관에서 Continuous Wave 가압법을 이용하여 충전할 때 System B Plugger tip의 깊이에 따른 근단부 밀폐효과를 평가하기 위함이다. 50개의 J형 만곡을 갖는 레진 블록에 부러진 F3 ProTaper 파일을 이용해 근관장에서 3mm 지점에 ledge를 형성한 후, F1 ProTaper Ni-Ti file을 이용해 레진 블록을 천공시켜 제 IV형 근관을 형성하고 System B Plugger tip의 깊이에 따라 3개의 실험군과 1개의 대조군으로 분류하였다. 제 IV형 근관의 거터퍼쳐와 실러의 길이는 확대경하에서 캘리퍼를 이용해 측정하였고 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 대조군의 설측 근관에서 거터퍼쳐와 실러 모두 관찰되지 않았다. 2. 3 mm군에서는 5 mm 또는 7 mm군에 비해 유의하게 많은 거터퍼쳐의 충전이 관찰되었다 (p<0.05). 3. 7 mm군에서는 유의하게 많은 빈 공간이 관찰되었다 (p<0.05).

Scanning Ion Conductivity Microscopy의 Approach Curve에 대한 측정 및 계산을 통한 Current Squeezing 효과의 고찰 (An Investigation of the Current Squeezing Effect through Measurement and Calculation of the Approach Curve in Scanning Ion Conductivity Microscopy)

  • SICM (scanning ion conductivity microscopy)은 nanopipette이 시료에 접근하게 되면서 tip에 인가되는 전류값의 변화가 발생하는데, 이를 이용하여 시료의 표면 형상을 측정하는 분석기술이다. 본 연구는 SICM mapping의 기본이 되는 tip과 시료 간의 거리에 의한 전류 반응곡선인 approach curve에 대해 연구한 결과를 담고 있다. Approach curve에 대해 우선 시뮬레이션 해석을 진행하였으며, 이를 기반으로 실험을 병행하여 이 둘 사이의 반응 곡선 차이를 분석하였다. 시뮬레이션 해석을 통해 tip과 시료와의 거리가 tip 내경의 절반 이하로 가까워지면서 current squeezing 효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 하지만, 시뮬레이션에 반영된 단순 이온 통로 감소에 의한 전류밀도 감소는 실제 실험을 통해 측정된 current squeezing 효과에 비해 훨씬 작은 것으로 측정되었다. 이는 나노 스케일의 매우 좁은 통로에서 이온전도도는 확산계수에 의한 단순 Nernst-Einstein 관계를 따르는 것이 아니라, tip과 시료가 만들어 내는 벽면에서의 유체역학적 유동 저항성을 고려하는 것이 추가로 필요할 것으로 보인다. 향후 이러한 SICM 측정은 전기화학 표면 반응성을 분석하는 SECM (scanning electrochemical microscopy) 측정기술과 통합되어 SECM 측정 한계를 보완될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 그렇게 되면, 반도체 배선 공정 및 패키징 공정에 사용되고 있는 다양한 패턴 형상에서 무전해 도금의 촉매 반응과 전기도금에서 유기첨가제 작용의 국부적 차이를 직접적으로 측정하는 것이 가능하게 될 것으로 기대된다.

스로틀 전자제어 방식 M/T차량의 가/감속 시 운전성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Driveability Improvement on the Electronic Throttle Control M/T Vehicle at Tip-in/out)

  • The passenger car drivers want in general to feel good driveability, but they sometimes feel uncomfortable by shock and jerk phenomena when they push or release acceleration pedal with clutch on state. In this paper, the shock and jerk characteristics are studied on the vehicles controlled by the throttle-by-wire system. Experiments and simulations were carried out on two vehicles which show different control characteristics. The engine torque control characteristics was analyzed by measuring cylinder pressure. Various specification factors of the vehicles and the torque control logic of the engines were simulated through experimental data basis. The result shows the spring effect of the trans-axle in the drive-train is one of the most important factors of the shock-jerk phenomena and the engine torque control method is also responsible for the reducing the shock-jerk amplitude. In this paper a new control logic of the engine torque is suggested for the better driveablility on the tip-in/out event.

선택적 촉매 환원법을 위한 외부 혼합형 이유체 노즐 개발에 대한 실험적 연구 (Development of an external twin-fluid nozzle for Selective Catalytic Reduction)

  • The effect of the working fluid flow conditions and nozzle geometry on the spray performance of a twin-fluid nozzle used in Selective Catalytic Reduction is investigated experimentally. The liquid pressure is varied in the range of 0.3atm to 1.5atm and the air pressure is varied from the 0.5atm to 3.0atm. relative position between liquid nozzle(internal nozzle) and air nozzle(external nozzle) tip changes front 1mm inside the air nozzle to 1mm outside the air nozzle. The orifice diameter of the air nozzle is varied with 5mm. 6mm and 7mm. Spray visualization is realized with CCD-Camera. SMD(Sauter Mean Diameter) and mean particle velocities are measured by PDPA(Phase Doppler Particle Analyzer) under various experimental conditions. The measuring point is 300mm away from the nozzle tip in the downstream spray. The experimental results are that spray angle is depended air flow rate because nozzle diameter, air pressure and nozzle tip relative positions are related air flow rate. SMD is depended air flow rate and water flow rate. Also, SMD is increased when water flow rate is bigger. SMD is decreased when Air flow rate is bigger.

  • Ultrasonic atomic force microscopy(Ultrasonic-AFM) can be used to obtain images of the elastic properties of a subsurface and to evaluate the elastic properties by measuring the contact resonance frequency. When a tip is in contact with the sample, it is necessary to understand the cantilever behavior and the tip-sample interaction for the quantitative and reliable analysis. Therefore, precise analysis models that can accurately simulate the tip-sample contact are required; these can serve as good references for predicting the contact resonance frequency. In this study, modal analyses of the first four modes were performed to calculate the contact resonance frequency by using a spring model, and the deformed shapes of the cantilever were visualized at each mode. We presented the contact characteristics of the cantilever with a variety of contact conditions by applying the contact area, contact material thickness, and material properties as the parameters for the FEM analysis.

균등전계 중에 놓인 침상 전극의 끝단에서 발생한 직류 코로나방전 특성 (Characteristics of DC Corona Discharges Caused at the tip of a Needle-shaped Electrode Placed in the Homogeneous Electric Fields)

  • In the measurement of atmospheric static electric field, it is important to know characteristics of corona discharges caused at the tip of test electrode. This paper presents the fundamental data of DC corona discharges that occurred at the tip of a needle-shaped electrode placed in the homogeneous background electric field which simulates the atmospheric static field under thundercloud. The major characteristics of interest for this purpose are the polarity effect of corona discharges and the magnitudes and time intervals of corona current pulses. The experimental set-up consists of the plate-to-plate configuration with a needle-shaped protrusion, DC power supply, and voltage and current measuring devices. As a result of experiments, the polarity dependence of corona pulses is significantly pronounced. The time intervals between successive corona pulses in the negative polarity is much longer than those in the positive polarity. The time intervals for both polarities is drastically decreased as the applied electric field is increased. Also the magnitudes of the positive corona pulses are slightly changed with an increase in applied electric field, but those of the negative corona pulses are linearly increased with increasing the applied electric fields.

  • The friction characteristics of contact region between vane tip and cam-ring is studied with an experimental device model. The radius of vane tip is less than 1 mm and sliding speed is lower than 10 m/s. The friction characteristics of the actual oil hydraulic vane pump is estimated on the basis of coefficient of friction. The coefficient of friction can be obtained by measuring the frictional forces in the contact region. The lubrication condition between vane and disk is modeled after the actual condition between the vane and cam-ring.

Q의 실험적 측정법 (The Experimental Method of Measuring Q)

  • An experimental method to measure Q-parameter in-situ is described. The basic idea comes from the fact that the side necking near a crack tip indicates the loss of stress triaxiality, which can be scaled by Q. From the out-of-plane displacement and the in-plane strain near the surface of side necking, stress field averaged through the thickness is calculated and then Q is determined from the difference between the stress field and the HRR field corresponding to the identical J-integral. To prove the validity, three-dimensional finite element analysis has been performed for a CT configuration with side-groove. Q-value which was calculated directly from the near-tip stress field is compared with that determined by simulating the experimental procedure according to the proposed method, that is, the Q-value determined from the lateral displacement and the inplane strain. Also, the effect of location where the displacement and strain are measured is explored.

  • This paper presents the straightness compensation system which is a device for improving the machining accuracy of ultra-precision machines by synchronizing the position of diamond tool tip with machine error motion. Sine it is actuated by piezoelectric actuator with highly nonlinear hysteresis characteristics, the feedback control schemes such as Proportional Integral(PI), are required and realized by measuring the displacements of diamond tool tip. for the better tracking performance, the controller was implemented using TMS320C32 32bit floating-point DSP which is fast so that the real-time control is possible. In addition, stand alone type DSP board was chosen fur the easy assembly into the ultra-precision machines. The experimental results show good command tracking performance and the motion error of the machine is satisfactorily compensated during the machining process.
