The purpose of this study is to suggest a practical way to measure and report corporate social performance as public interest in corporate social value pursuits increases. In particular, we will look for ways to measure and report on the financial and social performance of a company based on the concept of the Double Bottom Line (DBL), which has recently spread to big companies. For this purpose, this study analyzed the theoretical background and practical techniques related to measuring and reporting corporate social performance, and examined methods for measuring and reporting social performance in the existing financial performance measurement system. As a result, SROI was the most suitable method for measuring social performance of a company. It is recommended that social performance reporting follows the disclosure method of the accounting system, and the details of reporting suggest that using the standard of GRI Standard, an international standard related to sustainability reporting, is the most reasonable alternative to 'Double Bottom Line' performance reporting.

The most common method in the psychological measuring method for measuring user's emotions is to indirectly measure the user's emotion by using adjectives, called emotional words. The previous research, in order to observe user's emotional changes while they interact with a product, has extracted some emotional words and representative emotions, and made a set of subjective evaluation scale. In addition to adjective checklists, self-report questionnaire-type scales have been extensively used to assess user's emotions. This research suggested a self-report questionnaire-type scale using the representative emotions and a set of subjective evaluation scale made in the previous research. Also the reliability of the suggested self-report questionnaire-type scale was confirmed through the analysis of Cronbach's coefficient alpha. Therefore, the self-report questionnaire-type scale extracted through this research can be used in various ways to measure a user's user's emotions naturally expressed while using a product.

In the point of the Eco-concrete(Environmentally Friendly Concrete), it is very important to reduce the pH of high porous concrete by the pH to be able to grow plants, because the pH of concrete is l1~13. But the method of measuring the pH of high porous concrete is not well-defined, yet. Therefore, first, this paper report the method of measuring the pH of high porous concrete. Secondly this paper reports the pH reduction of high porous concrete to grow plants.

Newly constructed plate shape control system, using attached shape measuring instruments and work roll bender, was put in service in No. 2 Plate Mill, POSCO. Recently, customers demand the improvement of flatness and plate crown accuracy. Many competition Plate Mill introducted shape control system, for example, pair cross mill, work roll bender which includes shape measuring instrument and shape control mathematical models, and No. 2 Plate Mill, POSCO introducted work roll bender and shape measuring instruments. This report describes the properties of No. 2 Plate Mill shape control system and work roll bender.

Of the experiments to shorten NMR measuring time by sparse sampling, non-uniform sampling (NUS) is advantageous. NUS miminizes systematic errors which arise due to the lack of samplings by randomization. In this study, I report the real-time acquisition of 3D NMR data using NUS and maximum-entropy (MaxEnt) data processing. The real-time acquisition combined with NUS can reduce NMR measuring time much more. Compared with multidimensional decomposition (MDD) method, which was originally suggested by Jaravine and Orekhov (JACS 2006, 13421-13426), MaxEnt is faster at least several times and more suitable for the realtime acquisition. The designed sampling schedule of current study makes all the spectra during acquisition have the comparable resulting resolutions by MaxEnt. Therefore, one can judge the quality of spectra easily by examining the intensities of peaks. I report two cases of 3D experiments as examples with the simulated subdataset from experimental data. In both cases, the spectra having good qualitie for data analysis could be obtained only with 3% of original data. Its corresponding NMR measuring time was 8 minutes for 3D HNCO of ubiquitin.

사용자의 감성을 측정하기 위한 심리적 측정방법 중에서 사용자가 느끼는 감성을 형용사와 같은 어휘를 통해 간접적으로 측정하는 방법, 즉 감성어휘를 추출하여 사용자의 감성을 측정하는 방법이 가장 보편화되어 있는 방법이다. 본 연구의 선행연구에서는 사용자가 제품을 사용하는 도중에 유발되는 인간의 감성 변화를 나타낼 수 있는 감성어휘들과 대표감성들을 추출하여 제품을 사용하는 도중에 표출되는 사용자의 감성을 측정하기에 적합한 주관적 평가스케일을 도출하였다. 사용자의 감성을 측정하기 위한 심리적 측정방법에는 감성어휘를 이용한 체크리스트 외에도 자기-보고 질문지형 스케일도 널리 사용되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 선행연구를 통해 도출한 주관적 평가스케일을 보다 더 효과적으로 활용하기 위하여 자기-보고 질문지형 스케일을 제안하였다. 향후 제안한 평가스케일에 대한 신뢰도(reliability) 및 타당도(validity) 검증을 통해 수정 보완함으로써 제품을 사용하면서 자연스럽게 표출되는 사용자의 감성을 효과적으로 측정하기 위한 척도로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

For this study, in order to reduce a measuring error. author used a portable radio mise measuring and processing equipment especially designed. The time & frequency characteristics of HF band radio noise fran the sample site in Yeungnam region had been accomplished and statistical analysis carried out at the site. The results had been compared with the distribution chart of an atmospheric noise :indicated in the CCIR Report 322 issue. It showed that type of a measured noise distribution was similiar to that of the report but the man-made noise had a remarkable effect on the characteristic curves of HF band radio noise about the site.

This study was conducted to test the reliability and validity of Maternal Self-Report Inventory that was developed by Shea and Tronick for measuring maternal self-esteem. The subjects were 154 mothers. The construct validity for the scale was tested by factor analysis with five factor loading solution based on the previous study. One item was excluded because total-item correlation was too low, so that the number of total items were twenty-five, the analysis yielded five well defined factors: confidence on the maternal role, general ability of maternal role, caretaking ability, readiness on maternal role, and feeling on the pregnancy and deli very. These five factors explained 52.38% of the variance in the maternal self-esteem. Maternal self-esteem was not affected by maternal age, educational level, occupation, religion, delivery type, or parity. The reliability of the scale was determined with Cronbach's alpha coefficient and Guttman split-half coefficient. Cronbach's alpha was .82, for 26 items, and .83 if one item was deleted. Guttman split-half cofficient was .75. In subscale analysis, Cronbach's alpha was .63~.84. In conclusion. Maternal Self-Report Inventory showed a high degree of validity and reliability, suitable in Korean mothers for measuring maternal self-esteem. In the further study, it would be necessary to compare the maternal self-esteem between mothers with normal babies and premature babies, for confirming the criterion-related validity of the inventory.

AVI (Automatic Vision Inspection) systems automatically detect defect features and measure their sizes via camera vision. AVI systems usually report different measurements on the same defect with some variations on position or rotation mainly because different images are provided. This is caused by possible variations from the image acquisition process including optical factors, nonuniform illumination, random noises, and so on. For this reason, conventional area based defect measuring methods have problems of robustness and consistency. In this paper, we propose a new defect size measuring method to overcome this problem, utilizing volume information that is completely ignored in the area based defect measuring method. The results show that our proposed method dramatically improves the robustness and consistency of defect size measurement.

The revised draft of IEC Publication 60 "High Voltage Test Techniques" introduced a new calibration system for impulse measurements. In order to corespond to this draft, development of reference measuring systems and investigation of comparison tests are being carried out in Japan. This paper is a preliminary report on the topic.
