  • LiDAR(Light Detection and Ranging) with digital aerial photograph can be used to measure tree growth factors like total height, height of clear-length, dbh(diameter at breast height) and crown projection area. Delineating crown is an important process for identifying and numbering individual trees. Crown delineation can be done by watershed method to segment basin according to elevation values of DSMmax produced by LiDAR. Digital aerial photograph can be used to validate the crown projection area using LiDAR. And tree height can be acquired by image processing using window filter$(3cell\times3cell\;or\;5cell\times5cell)$ that compares grid elevation values of individual crown segmented by watershed.

  • 수치고도자료를 생성하기 위해서, 항공기 혹은 위성에 탑재된 센서로부터 획득한 입체영상으로부터 자동상관매칭기법에 의해 고도값을 획득하는 연구가 수행되어 왔다. 자동상관매칭에 의한 결과값은 센서의 각도 및 수목 등에 의해 지표고도를 직접 추출하는데는 한계가 있고 영상내 지형지물 분포에 의해 고도값의 수정, 편집량이 결정된다. 본 연구는 수목차폐율과 수목고 자료가 자동상관매칭 고도 결과값에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

  • The jet in crossflow is a spray method used in the various air-breathing engine. In order to understand the spray characteristics in various environments, many prior studies have been conducted. However, there is a lack of understanding of the low-temperature liquid spray characteristics below 273 K. With this in mind, we tried to enhance the knowledge of the low-temperature liquid spray characteristics by identifying the penetration height of low-temperature ethanol. The experiment was conducted under phase pressure, and 273 K of air and 293, 263, and 233 K of ethanol was used. Shadowgraphy was employed to measure the liquid penetration, and Otsu's method was used to analyze the penetration height. The heights tend to decrease as the temperature of the liquid jet decreases. A correlation for the penetration height in the experimental conditions was derived and presented.

차량소음의 등가소음높이 측정을 위한 마이크로폰 배열 설계 (Microphone Array Design for Measurement of the Equivalent Source Height of Vehicle Noise)

  • Microphone array is designed to measure the equivalent source height of vehicle noise. The equivalent source position is defined for an arbirary distribution of acoustic sources above a perfectly reflecting plane and a microphone array for its measurement is developed. The normalized errors of the measured equivalent source heights are defined including the effects of background noise, the geometric near field, and source size. Normalized errors of the measured source heights obtained by a nemerical simulation for each parameter lead to optimization of the microphone spacing and to the design of an array which gives the equivalent source height as a function of frequency. The performance of the designed array is verified using the stationary loudspeaker experiments.

랜지후드의 설치 높이에 따른 오염물질의 배출성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Exhaust Performance of Contaminant by Establishment Height of Hood)

  • This paper is contents that experiment exhaust performance of contaminant by establishment height gas table and hood establishment height. Hood made to control from gas table to 10 centimeters space from 30 centimeters to 70 centimeters. Exhaust fan operated by 110V, 160V, 220V, and gas used propane gas. Center part appeared highest as result that measure wind velocity and temperature from hood lower part. Wind velocity from hood lower part was proved that dominate contaminant exhaust performance. Exhaust performance of carbon dioxide and heat showed that 30 centimeters case overmatches because establishment height of hood compares 80 centimeters. Case of carbon dioxide of exhaust performance by establishment height of hood overmatched more than heat.

키넥트를 이용한 실내에서의 키 추정 방법 (Height Estimation using Kinect in the Indoor)

  • 객체 인식은 지능적이고 다양화된 범죄 예방을 위해 감시 시스템에서 중요한 기술이다. 사람의 신체 정보인 키는 대상이 가지고 있는 신체적인 특징으로 신원을 확인하는데 중요한 정보가 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 RGB-Depth 카메라, 키넥트를 활용한 새로운 키 추정 방법을 제안한다. 사람의 키를 측정하기 위해 키넥트의 높이를 알고 있는 것으로 가정하고, 키넥트에서 머리와 발까지의 거리를 키넥트의 깊이 정보를 이용하여 사람의 키를 추정한다. 실험을 통하여 제안하는 방법이 실내에서 사람의 키를 추정하는데 효과적임을 확인한다.

Current Status of Tree Height Estimation from Airborne LiDAR Data

  • Most nations around the world have expressed significant concern in the climate change due to a rapid increase in green-house gases and thus reach an international agreement to control total amount of these gases for the mitigation of global warming. As the most important absorber of carbon dioxide, one of major green-house gases, forest resources should be more tightly managed with a means to measure their total amount, forest biomass, efficiently and accurately. Forest biomass has close relations with forest areas and tree height. Airborne LiDAR data helps extract biophysical properties on forest resources such as tree height more efficiently by providing detailed spatial information about the wide-range ground surface. Many researchers have thus developed various methods to estimate tree height using LiDAR data, which retain different performance and characteristics depending on forest environment and data characteristics. In this study, we attempted to investigate such various techniques to estimate tree height, elaborate their advantages and limitations, and suggest future research directions. We first examined the characteristics of LiDAR data applied to forest studies and then analyzed methods on filtering, a precedent procedure for tree height estimation. Regarding the methods for tree height estimation, we classified them into two categories: individual tree-based and regression-based method and described the representative methods under each category with a summary of their analysis results. Finally, we reviewed techniques regarding data fusion between LiDAR and other remote sensing data for future work.

연속 입력된 영상을 이용한 높이 측정 (Height Measurement using the image sequences)

  • 본 논문에서는 보안 시스템에서 사람 인식을 위한 중요한 단서 중의 하나인 사람의 키를 측정하는 알고리즘으로, 이미지 시퀀스에서 사람의 영역을 추출하고 기하학적 정보를 이용해 추출된 사람의 키를 측정하고자 한다. 이를 위해 단일 이동 물체 사람을 대상으로 하여 시퀀스 이미지에서 사람의 움직임 정보를 추출하고, 추출된 영역에서 수직히스토그램 투영을 하여 사람의 중심선을 찾아 머리와 발의 좌표점을 추출한다. 추출된 좌표점들은 소실점과 소실선의 기하학적 해석과 미리 입력한 다른 물체의 기준 높이를 가지고 실세계에서의 사람의 키를 측정하게 된다.

  • This paper describes the design of a cellphone curved glass measuring device using by camera. The measuring device was composed of two camera, two backlight system, a body and so on, and the program was made for a camera calibration and noise removal, and also the program was made for height measurement of a cellphone curved glass using by subpixel algorism. And then a new technique for measuring the height of the cell phone curved glass was proposed. The characteristics test of height measurement of gage blocks and cell phone curved glasses was carried out, the error of the height measurement of gage block is less than ${\pm}0.005$ and the error of the height measurement of the cell phone curved glasses is less than ${\pm}0.005$. Thus it thought that the designed cellphone curved glass measuring device and the new technique for measuring the height was used to measure the height of the cellphone curved glass.

구두 굽 높이가 20대 여성의 요천추부 각도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Heel-height on the Lumbosacral Region Angle of Young Ladies)

  • Objective : To purpose of this study was the most of the ladies wear high-heeled shoes at lease 4 to 5 day a week but the effect of it's height on the lumbo-sacral legion angle has not been clearly defined. Method : Subject were 20 young ladies, who had majored in physical therapy of the Dae-gu Health College. Method 1. PACS system X-ray was used to measure the lumbo-sacral legion angle under the condition of bare foot, 3cm, 7cm high-heeled at standing position. 2. Spinal Mouse was used to measure the spinal segment motion angle and length under the condition of bare foot, 3cm, 7cm high-heeled at being Flexion-Extension position Result : The result of this study were as follow I. Significant statistical increase in lumbar lordosis was observed as the heel height was increased from bare foot to 7cm high-heeled(p<.05), but there was no significant difference in the lumbo-sacral angle & sacral angle(p>.05). 2. The Height and the weight of the subjects, their preference on the shoes didn't affect the lumbo-sacral lesion angle(p>.05) 3. The variation of the heel height didn't affect the spinal segment motion angle and length(p>.05). Conclusion : There is strong relationship between the high of heel with increasing the lumbar lordosis(p<.05).
