In this paper, we suggested a neuro-fuzzy learning algorithm for tuning fuzzy rules, in which a fuzzy system model is of additive-type. Using the method, it is possible to reduce the computation size, since performing the fuzzy inference and tuning the fuzzy rules of each fuzzy subsystem model are independent. Moreover, the efficiency of suggested method is shown by means of a numerical example.

This paper is to propose an evaluation model of quality system using the concept from the evaluation method of each stage in QFD(Quality Function Deployment). The data of the performance level and weights for the quality system and the job on quality loop in each enterprise has been obtained from the 8 experts who are in charge of quality system construction. Here, the weights were computed by means of the eigenvector method. In this paper, we can acquire the evaluated score for the present level of the quality system. This method will help to manage and improve the quality system. We show the efficiency of this method by illustrating case studies.

The color difference between original and printed copy is affected mainly by ink trapping and optical properties of overprinted ink layer. Since the general expression itself about ink trapping is affected also by the optical properties, the analysis of color difference using the ink trapping only cannot be certain. This study will show a new approaching method for optical analysis of spectral reflectance and the effect of printing sequence on color difference in multi-color overprints under the condition of excluding completely the ink trapping problems by means of using transparent film as a substrate.

By the research seen by examining plan which can improve at least systematization of a distribution sector, reform opening got into stride to Chinese distribution channel structure by improvement of a premodern Chinese circulation system and non-efficiency-structure. The competition means of the China distribution industry, the development direction, and the Chinese distribution channel strategy are received focusing on the 1990s, and it is going to show a way proposal.

In this paper, to implement the electrical equivalent modeling of powder electroluminescent device, capacitate equation of device was chosen. The conventional structure device which have dielectric and phosphor layer between electrodes, and the single emission structure device which means that dielectric and phosphor were mixed between electrodes, were investigated. As a result, it was possible to make the equation that is transferred capacitance to phosphor layer, and using measured brightness efficiency and conductivity of devices was calculated.

RMQC, rail mounted quay crane, lifts and moves large container by means of hoist and trolley motion on the dock. Our company is trying to develop advanced RMQC applying the concepts of elevator hoist and container conveyer for the automation and high efficiency in handling the boxes. Prior to the development of new products, it is necessary to check the capacity of conventional crane for reference. The program simulates container-handling rates and gives some design factors for the conventional cranes.

In a block adaptive filtering procedure, the filter coefficients are adjusted once per each output block while maintaining performance comparable to that of widely used LMS adaptive filtering in which the filter coefficients are adjusted once per each output data sample. An efficient implementation of block adaptive filter is possible by means of discrete transform technique which has cyclic convolution property and fast algorithms. In this paper, the block adaptive filtering using Fermat Number Transform (FNT) is investigated to exploit the computational efficiency and less quantization effect on the performance compared with finite precision FFT realization. And this has been verified by computer simulation for several applications including adaptive channel equalizer and system identification.

This study intended to identify the problems of the railroad which are raised as one of the 21C next-generation but to define the direction for the absence of the national policy and examine the competitiveness of railway transportation which is a Green Network with low environmental destruction and high energy efficiency as the continuable means of transportation for the 21st century with superiority to energy crisis caused by high oil price, conclusion of the Kyoto Protocol for worsened air pollution, and reduced cost of traffic jam.

This paper analyses the efficiency of performance measures from the point of total cost on the accuracy of due date around various measures of performance be in mainly use in the flow shop scheduling theory. For this purpose, complete enumeration method for small problems seems to be the only possible means of evaluation and analysis. Using of the above technique, calculates the 800 Scheduling Problems, and represents it by the cumulative distributions.

In this paper, we propose efficient motion vector refinement algorithm for frame-rate reduction transcoding. The proposed algorithm is to set the search range for motion refinement based on the incoming motion vector. The algorithm calculates the importance of motion vector of the skipped frame and then selects two motion vector to set search range. Through this process, we determine the accuracy of incoming motion vector and set the search range lot refinement adaptively by means of the accuracy. In experiments, we show efficiency of our algorithm to reduce the search points for refinement.
