Text has evolved along with the history of art as a means of communicating human intentions and emotions. In addition, text visualization artworks have been combined with the social form and contents of new media to produce social messages and related meanings. Recently, in text visualization artworks combined with digital media, communication forms with viewers are changing instantly and interactively, and viewers are actively participating in creating artworks by direct engagement. Interactive text visualization with additional viewer's interaction, generates external dynamics from text shapes and internal dynamics from embedded meanings of text. The purpose of this study is to propose a visual dynamics model to express the dynamics of text and to implement a text visualization system based on the model. It uses the deconstruction of the imaged text to create an interactive text visualization system that reacts to the gestures of the viewer in real time. Visual Transformation synchronized with the intentions of the viewer prevent the text from remaining in the interpretation of language symbols and extend the various meanings of the text. The visualized text in various forms shows visual dynamics that interpret the meaning according to the cultural background of the viewer.

본 연구는 예비 생물 교사들이 경쟁과 적응의 생물학적 의미를 일상생활에서 쓰이는 의미와 동일하게 이해함으로써 자연선택과 진화를 인식하는데 어려움이 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 예비 생물 교사 53명을 대상으로 지필검사를 하였고, 13명을 면담하였다. 지필 검사지는 세 종류로 경쟁과 적응의 일반적 의미를 묻는 검사지와 생물학적 의미를 묻는 검사지, 자연선택개념 검사지였다. 면담은 반구조화 면담으로 진행하였다. 자료 분석은 4단계로 진행하였다. 먼저, 예비 생물 교사가 생각하는 경쟁과 적응의 일반적 의미를 국어사전에 제시된 정의와 비교하였다. 두 번째로, 예비 생물 교사가 생각하는 경쟁과 적응의 생물학적 의미를 생물학적 정의와 비교하였다. 세 번째로, 예비 생물 교사가 생각하는 경쟁과 적응의 일반적 의미와 생물학적 의미를 비교하였다. 이를 바탕으로 생물학적 경쟁과 적응에 대한 예비 생물 교사의 대안개념 유형을 제시하였다. 마지막으로, 이 대안개념 유형이 자연선택과 진화를 설명할 때도 나타나는지 확인하였다. 연구 결과 예비 생물 교사들은 경쟁의 생물학적 의미를 일반적 의미와 혼용하여, 경쟁은 의도 또는 목적을 위해 싸우거나 다투는 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 적응은 개체 수준에서 생물이 살아남기 위해 환경에 맞춘다는 목적론적으로 인식하고 있었다. 즉 적응을 일반적 의미와 혼동하였고, 적응을 진화와 연결지어 설명할 때도 적응을 일반적 의미로 이해하여 적응이 계속되면 진화가 이루어진다고 생각하고 있었다. 이 연구는 그동안 국내 연구자들의 관심을 받지 못했던 경쟁과 적응 개념에 대한 중요성을 부각시키고, 효율적인 진화 교수 학습의 밑바탕이 되는 경쟁과 적응의 선개념 유형을 분석하여 제시했다는 데 의의가 있다.

구곡시가는 구곡원림을 연구하는 중요한 소재이다. 특히 시가에서 출현하는 경물은 그 장소성과 원림의식을 표출하는 중요한 소재이다. 그러나 자연에 대한 인식 태도나 미적 형상화 과정을 탐구할 수 있는 식물 소재에 대하여 다수학문들은 소극적이다. 따라서 본 연구는 구곡원림문화의 연구 소재를 확장하기 위해 구곡시가에 출현한 식물에 관한 다양한 상징적 의미를 발굴하고 그 맥락을 밝히고자 한다. 연구의 목적을 수행하기 위해 나는 총 18구곡처 25개의 관련 시가를 수집하였고 총 20종의 식물을 발견하였다. 본 연구는 구곡 시가와 그 해설문을 R-program을 사용하여 수목의 의미를 도출하였고 상호텍스트성에 의한 수목의 의미를 고찰하였다. 연구결과, 20종의 식물은 신선계, 청빈, 향수, 군자의 품격, 진락, 절개, 강학, 태평성대의 상징적 의미를 내포하였다. 다수의 종은 '신선계'에 상징성을 집중하였고 다음으로 '군자의 품격'에 대한 싱징 빈도가 높았다. 복사나무, 느티나무, 떡갈나무 등을 제외한 다수의 수종이 다중적 의미를 갖추고 있었다. 그 중 소나무와 연꽃이 상징적 의미의 폭이 넓었고 주변 경관의 특성에 따라 의미도 달랐다. 일반적으로 구곡문화는 자연경관을 대상으로 하지만 용산, 퇴계, 덕산, 주산구곡은 인위적인 배식 및 정원 행위를 통해 상징적 의미를 강화 또는 재생산하는 특징을 보여주었다. 우리 구곡시가는 무릉도원을 상징하는 복사나무의 한계를 극복하기 위해 단풍나무와 갈대를 대체 수종으로 활용하였다. 이상의 맥락에 따라, 구곡시가에 출현하는 수목은 전통적인 의미를 고집하기보다는 해당 구곡의 경물, 행위 그리고 의도에 따라 그 상징적 의미를 다르게 표출하였다.

Data Naming has been a long-lived issue in data management. A data name is a basic vehicle to convey meanings of data. Thus, names are organized in such a way that anyone can understand their meanings with ease; however, Korean data names have been organized based on English-like naming scheme. This paper proposes a Korean data naming scheme. For this, we specify information that data names should include. Secondly, we propose rules to organize data names. For real world applications, a database system is proposed to manage data names. The database is expected to provide a starting point that on organization can develop its own data name repository.

The 1960s is a transitional era in the history of architecture. The Byker housing redevelopment project well reflects this situation, and is a good example of materialization of social pluralism and expressional needs of a community. Therefore it was investigated in order to see its meanings in the history of mass housing in the Western countries. The conclusions are as follows: It is the first large-scale project where the concept of user participation was sucessfully realized; It suggested various tools of desirable design methodology; It made a paradigmatic change from modernism to post-modernism in the history of contemporary mass housing projects.

The purpose of this study is to analyze dress meanings painted by elementary school girl. As in language, the dress is the symbol and form of non-verval communicator its wearer by means of the mentalistic semantics. Also it is to analyze meanings of dress by applying the semantics of Geoffrey Leech. The followings are the findings of the analysis 1. The conceptual are the findings of the analysis 2. The social meaning is indicating the feminine image. 3. The offective meaning is indicating the aesthetic value.

This research studied the classification and meanings of symbols on the clothes of he Koran catholic priest. The results are as follows. 1) Symbol of religios spirits and values. - There are many spirits of crist which require to keep and meanings of innocence. 2) Symbol of status - served to symbolize the conscious change from earthy to ordaned man. 3) Symbol of role - differentiate between the role of priest and aid-priest. 4) Symbol of position(or rank) - indicate the position of priests in catholic church. 5) Symbol of situation. 6) Symbol of ritual ceremony - characterized the ritual ceremony.

The exhibition would have benefited from a more sustained examination of the contemporary meanings and historic meanings behind fashion ideas and architecture as a communication vehicles, which reflect public preferences as an art or design. Both are based on structure, shape, and th ornament basic necessities. Skin+Bones pools contemporary exemplars and cultural capital - providing resources, creating the opportunity for new hybrids, and advancements for fashionistas who are much more interested in fashion. The overall aim of this research is to understand both fashion and architecture by analyzing exhibition and interpreting the meaning of objects that have been shown and studying the problems and obstacles to be overcome in presenting a significant meaning of fashion and architecture.

매치 컷(Match cut)은 영상미디어에서 활발히 사용되는 몽타주(montage) 기법이다. 이 기법은 활용의 범위가 넓고, 수용자에게 다양한 의미작용을 일으키는 기법이기도 하다. 본고에서는 쇼트와 쇼트 사이에 발생되는 의미작용에 바탕을 두고, 매치 컷 활용이 다양하게 표현되는 영화 <드라큘라>을 분석하였다. 매치 컷을 통한 오브젝트들의 결합방법과 도출되는 표현은 본문에서 살펴보았듯이 결합의 방법에 따라 발생되는 표현효과가 다르게 나타났고, 그 활용의 정도는 한정적이 않음을 알 수 있었다. 본고는 영화<드라큘라>에서 드러나는 매치 컷의 활용방법을 분석하고, 그 쓰임과 표현에 있어 매치 컷 표현의 역량을 제시하고자 하였다. 또, 앞의 과정에서 발생되는 생성역량을 중심으로 질 들뢰즈(Gilles Deleuze)의 철학적 쟁점에 바탕을 두었다. 그리고 이해를 돕기 위해 비슷한 의미작용이 드러나는 프란시스 베이컨(Francis Bacon)의 회화 작품 <회화(painting)>(1946)와 <자화상(self-portrait)>(1969)과 비교분석하였다. 이 두 미디어를 분석함으로써 쇼트와 쇼트사이에 유목(nomadism)적 방법으로 '오브젝트와 오브젝트', '색과 색'등을 통해, 결합 생성으로 발생되는 '되기(becoming)'의 의미작용이 다양하게 적용될 수 있음을 알았다.
