In an attempt to provide basic information for the development of programs geared toward facilitating college adjustment of nursing students, this study was undertaken to verify the meaning of life, empathy skills and resilience, as factors affecting the adjustment of nursing students to college and factors influencing relationships of the variables. Between March 1 to April 30, 2019, 531 nursing students in two different colleges located in Gyeonggi Province were enrolled to undertake a survey. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, t-tests, ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression. Results reveal that the meaning of life had a significant positive correlation with empathy skills, resilience and the degree of college adjustment. It was also ascertained that college adjustment was better when the meaning of life, empathy skills and resilience were greater. Factors affecting college adjustment include gender, grade, education at admission, health status, major satisfaction, stress, family economy, meaning of life and resilience; these variables had a 44.8% explain ability of college adjustment. Considering the findings of this study, we propose that sustained education and program development are required to enhance the meaning of life, empathy skills and resilience of college students to ensure their successful college adjustment.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze factors affecting the meaning of life in patients on hemodialysis. Methods: The sample consisted of 176 adults diagnosed with chronic kidney disease at hospitals in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do who had been receiving hemodialysis for more than three months. The patients volunteered to participate in the study. Data collection instruments used were the Meaning in Life (ML) scale, Resilience scale, Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) and Fatigue scale questionnaire. The SAS9.2 version was used for descriptive analysis, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The mean total item score on the meaning of life scale was 133.68 (total score:180), which was low. There was a significant relationship between the ML scale and resilience, depression, and fatigue. Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that resilience, religion, depression, and fatigue were predictors of the meaning of life. Conclusion: These results indicate a need to develop nursing interventions to increase resilience and reduce depression and fatigue to promote the meaning of life in patients on hemodialysis.

1.It was recorded at "Dong Gook Tong Gam" of King "Jang Soo" that "Sim-Eui" in Korea was first introduced from China at the reign of King, "Moon Ja"(491,A.D), Go Goo Ryo. 2."Sim-Eui" was worn as a mourning dress during the period of "Go Ryo" and as a concanical robe of Confucian, a ceremonial dress at home and for the rules of etiquettes during Cho Sun Dunasty. 3.Several theories about the construction and the using services of "Sim-Eui" are obseved and summerized. 4.Mr. Kyu-soo Park gives a definition to "Sim-Eui" as a Fortune of Heaven & Earth, the Constellation of the Cosmic Dual Forces, the Revolution of the Four Seasons, a dignified mien & the Way of a Man of Virtue and Virtue of the golden Mean. 5.I observed the concrete measurements of the each parts of "Sim-Eui" by the construction method of Kyu-Soo Park. 6.The Symbolic Meaning following the Idea of Mr. Chung, Hyun. describes well the line of thinking in our nation, and Idea of Loyalty & Filial Piety, a Man of Virtue and the Virtue of the Golden Mean. 7.As described above, I dare insist of the fact that the Construction Theory of "Sim-Eui" by Kyu-Soo Park during the letter period of Chosun Dynasty is full of our national manners and cus-toms with symbolizing meaning, construction's exquisiteness, clothes' materials and it's size most suitable to our people, to the exclusion of the defects in "Sim-Eui" of China and Japan.

This study was conducted to evaluate the spirituality, perceived meaning in life, hospice perception, and attitudes towards terminal care among nursing students, as well as to identify the relationships between variables and examine factors influencing their attitudes towards terminal care. Data were collected using a self-reported questionnaire completed by 308 nursing students at two universities from April 11, 2017 to April 17, 2017. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, a t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression with the SPSS/Win 14.0 program. Attitudes toward terminal care among nursing students were significantly correlated with hospice perception(r=0.30, p<0.001) and meaning in life(r=0.30, p<0.001). Meaning in life among nursing students was significantly correlated with hospice perception(r=0.25, p<0.01) and spirituality(r=0.53, p<0.01). The significant predictors of the attitudes towards terminal care in nursing students were hospice perception(${\beta}=0.40$, p<0.001) and meaning in life(${\beta}=0.27$, p<0.001). Hospice perception explained 22.7% and meaning in life explained 5.0% of the variance. These variables explained 27.7% of the variance in attitudes toward terminal care. Overall, these findings suggest that the terminal care education program, including hospice perception and meaning in life, is necessary to enhance the positive attitude toward terminal care among nursing students.

The Purpose of this study is to examine the inner symbolic meaning of the revenge movies, forcing on , , by producer Chan-Wook Park. This study was analyzed with theoretical frames of Greimas's and Lacan's desire theory. The results of this study is as follows: Main characters of these films were tangled each their with love, desire, angry, hate and revenge. They also had desires and needs of revenge caused by deficiency. These films represented blue as sorrow, depression, frigidness, loneliness and deficiency, red as love, desire, angry, hate and revenge, black as strong will, till-eat, death, violence and bloody-mindedness and white as forgiveness, expiation and salvation. The function of colors in conveying meaning was very effected to analyzing the visual power implications and psychological effects on human feelings that colors have in the movie.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the form and meaning of shaman's costumes worn by each gutgeori in Seoul jaesugut and to derive the characteristics of Shaman's costume at gutgeori. Observational research was conducted for three years by participating in the site of two types of gut, which are divided into local jaesugut for the well-being of the region and individual jaesugut that takes place based on personal request. Seoul jaesugut consists of 12 different gutgeori according to the deity it serves and meaning: Bujeongcheongbae, Gamangcheongbae, Bulsageori, Sangeori, Josanggeori, Sangsangeori, Byulsanggeori, Sinjanggeori, Daegamgeori, Seongjugeori, Changbugeori, and Duitjeon. The shape and colour of the shaman's costume worn in each gutgeori are related to the meaning of the gutgeori. Followings are the characteristics of the shaman's costume from gutgeori. First, shaman's costume adopted traditional costumes that symbolized the characteristics of god represented in each gutgeori. Second, gutgeori consists of multiple gods, and shaman's costumes were adopt to represent the superior god among these gods. Third, sometimes the costumes were adopted according to the characteristic of the god instead of its divinity. Fourth, even if the gods were different, if the roles of the gods were the same, the same form of shaman's costume could be taken. Fifth, the process of gut showed the harmony of yin and yang using the principle of five elements through the colour of shaman's costume.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the inner meaning and outer from of the uniform from a historical perspective. As a research method, this study investigated the significance of the meaning and farm of the uniform in history with a focus on the classification suggested by a Japanese scholar, Okuhira Sitse, and analyzed them by design elements. In the theoretical study, the uniform was divided into formal, working and collective uniforms according to the purpose of wear. As results, the plasticity of the uniform was analyzed as the concept involving: authority representing the power and influence within the organization as a inner moaning; differentiation from the rest by expressing the culture and ideology within the organization; cohesiveness among the wearers as members of the specific organization and the binding nature in effect; reliable images to customers due to the appropriate form of dress related to the specific business and controlled self expression; and aesthetics characterizing a given era as a form of aesthetic pursuit. The elements of these inner meanings were translated to the outer form of functional practicality and simplified design, which appeared as the simplified' suit' in a female uniform in workplaces.

The meaning of the diamond crystal structure and the formative beauty of the crystal form were designed from a new perspective and expressed in jewelry. In this study, we examined the literature on the crystal structure of diamonds and analyzed cases of jewelry design based on the formative characteristics of diamond crystal structure. we newly interpreted the meaning and value of diamond crystal structure, and studied the figurative design that can show the aesthetic effect of the crystal structure by designing the diamond crystal structure as jewelry. By presenting jewelry designs that take advantage of the symmetry effect of the diamond crystal structure and the repetition of the sculptural beauty, we hope that the fundamental beauty and cultural meaning of gemstones will be re-recognized.

The purpose of this essay is to know the expressed form and color and also to examine the inner symbolic meaning of the movie "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" by producer Chan-Wook Park. In the movie, the main character Geumja has double personality, having both images of a wicked woman and a woman saint, and she showed the clothing of both good and evil. For example, while she was in prison, her prisoner uniform while she was taking care of her inmates, her pajama which is the symbol of innocence when she was atoning and praying, Geumja's appearance wasn't fabulous when she was wearing baker's cloth that symbolize pure inside. But in contrast, Geumja who was released from prison planned and execute vengeance, dress colorful dress and primary color make-ups. Blue color coat with gloomy mood, black leather coat with the image of female warrior, and the slip with intensive image and etc express Geumja's will of revenge. Like this, depend on the psychology of main character Geumja, it's easy to recognize the change of clothing and color, and it's possible to understand the symbolic meaning in it.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a finding meaning in life CD program about life-esteemed education and to identify the effect of the program. Methods: The life-esteemed education philosophy and the concepts of logotherapy were applied as a theoretical framework for this program. This program was developed through the process of planning, designing, developing, and evaluating with a content validity test. To identify the effect of the program, one experimental group design was applied to 54 students. Data were collected before the program started and one week and five weeks after the program finished. Results: The program was developed based on the students' needs and evaluation of the CD's content and consists of five periods: Dinosaur Park of Promise, Hill of Fragrance, Garden of Love, Forest of Acceptance, and My Lake. Each post-test score of knowledge, attitude, and practice on meaning of life was significantly higher than pretest scores. Conclusion: This program can be effective for life-esteemed education in elementary school students. Moreover, it is encouraged that the program will be utilized in more life-esteemed education for elementary school students.
