Traditional costumes have evolved while reflecting the social, cultural and psychological values of the era. Costumes gain meaning by being worn that also allows their various symbolic meanings to be derived. Costumes worn in festivals by specific societies and organizations have especially apparent symbolism pertaining to their purpose. Most countries have traditional festivals that embody the country's distinct culture, history and traditions. These festivals are acts of consciousness expressing a special meaning of the community. Costumes represent a glimpse of life and culture during a festival period; in addition, the costume's style, color elements and decorations are expressions of community values and a distinct symbolic mechanism. Totemism (a significant element of these festivals) has been passed down for many generations. The current costumes for Totemism are distinct (compared to normal festival costumes) and embody a more symbolic meaning. This study deduces the exaggerated style, the concealment and disguise of the human body, and the pursuit of pleasure expressed in the Totemism costumes of regional European festivals. The symbolization theories of C. G. Jung and an analysis of Totemism costumes allow an understanding of their existential significance, their role as the medium between consciousness and unconsciousness, their meaning of symbolic transcendental unity, and their meaning of giving consciousness to the mind.

'색채는 우리의 의식과 상관없이 긍정적 혹은 부정적으로 우리에게 영향을 미치는 에너지이다.' 라고 이텐(Johannes Itten)은 말했다. 우리가 자연에서 보는 색채는 감정에 우선적으로 강하게 작용한다. 이러한 색채의 경험은 우리에게 상징 또는 도상으로 다가오며 인간의 심리를 알레고리로 표현하게 된다. 애니메이션의 색채는 영상매체가 갖는 시각적인 요소이자 중요한 의미작용을 하는 이미지이며 빛의 속성이자 가장 먼저 눈에 들어오는 시지각적 요소이다. 형태, 움직임, 명암 등과 같은 조형요소와 함께 색채는 인간과 인간 주변의 상황을 표현하는 매체로서의 중요한 기능을 한다. 애니메이션에서는 캐릭터의 심리적 변화 상태뿐만 아니라 처한 상황을 암시하기 위하여 색채를 상징적으로 사용한다. 심리적 의미전달은 색채의 상징성을 도상(icon)적으로 표현하게 된다. 따라서 애니메이션의 이미지 표현을 위한 색채는 의미전달을 위한 보편성을 띠게 된다. 본 연구는 색채의 상징적 의미가 작품에 어떻게 반영되었는가에 초점을 맞추었다.

3D 애니메이션이 점점 추세가 되어가는 이 시대에 2016년 흥해한 작품 <주토피아>에 대한분석을 통해 이 작품에서 시도한 새로운 변화와 요소들이 그 작품의 흥행하는데 어떤 역할을 하였고 어떠한 표현들이 이 시대에 적합한 표현방식인가를 초점에 맞추어 작품을 디자인하는 과정에서 조형적 의미와 상징 그리고 캐릭터 동작과 표현의 의미를 이해하고 작품을 감상한다면 그 재미도 배로 즐길 수가 있다.

Light is the essential element for people to live and do creative activities in architecture. The meaning of light has been changed as time has changed, and today it has more sophisticated roles. The meaning of light was to create static ambience in the past but it can create dynamic ambience currently. The digital light can be a source which creates this dynamic effects such as a human behavior, thought and weather data, and also creates new realm of spatial experience such as the metaphysical. complex, and illusionary space. These characteristics can be revealed from Proun raum spatial characteristics. This study analyzes the characteristics of proun raum, and also compare such characteristics to the variable meanings of digital light.

The purpose of this study is to stand assembly the meaning and function of entry space with analysing their social and cultural characteristic. The entry space is the linkable place between inner space and out space, and that is the transition place to be experienced two opposing characteristic. Till now the entry space has not taken effect as symbol needed to the resident and observer, and that has been a tendency to shrink as the minimal sign of entrance. So thus, it is in need of studying the entry space's specific and characterizing structurally as expanded function. For the purpose, this study define newly the meaning, function and composition of entry space in an apartment building, and try to find how to reinforce a resident identity. This study propose justification that the entry space isn't boxing space minimally but enforcing symbol presented clearness of composition and vital character.

In this paper, we notice the fact that a human learning process is characterized by a process under a natural language environment, and discuss an approach of learning based on indirect linguistic instructions. An instruction is interpreted through some meaning elements and each trend. Fuzzy evaluation rule are constructed for the searched meaning elements of the given instruction, and the performance of a system to be learned is improved by the evaluation rules. In this paper, we propose a framework of learning based on indirect linguistic instruction based learning using fuzzy theory: FULLINS(FUzzy-Learning based on Linguistic IN-Struction). The validity of FULLINS is shown by applying it to helicopter flight control.

The study background is that Mo-Jung happens as the produce of the agricultural society but it is not easy to find it beside Ho-nam area. Because of this, it results construction has. The study progress is to understand the happening time, and regional cause the Mo-Jung construction has. The study progress is to understand the happening time of Mo-Jung, constructional meaning, and the meaning of Mo-Jung with the investigation method of literature consideration of the village society, data of the existing study, survey investigation, interview, and question through the process of analyzing the characteristics of differentiation of the village and Dure organization. 1. Mo-Jung construction has the meaning of vernacular construction reflecting the meaning of village community intensively as an element comprising the village, and the territory of Mo-Jung space is revealed as the male space. 2. The economic wealth of the village community and the image reflecting the community sense are stood out. 3. It is the reason why Mo-Jung construction is limited to Ho-nam area and is explained as the life style difference each village community has, the regional characteristic difference Dae-dong play of Yong.Ho-nam areas have, etc. so to speak. 4. Perceived meaning of color uniquely forms and is being highlighted as an element of creative design in the modern design industry as well as traditional culture. It is necessary to compare the perceived meanings of color and clothing color of Korea and Japan in order to find out the model of Korea's original color. The purpose of this study Is to draw the results of examining the perceived meanings of color revealed in the culture, arts and clothing color of the both countries and comparing them depending on contemporary times. The scope of study is limited from the ancient times to modern times (about BC.IC-early20C). In the methodologies, the literature and the empirical study focus on both counturies' literature, including art history, ethnology, and the history of clothing; and their paintings and relics, which are all related to clothes. The perceived meaning of color of Korea was prominent with the beauty of nature and gorgeousness throughout the history. The colors were mostly white colors, light colors, and single colors such as obangsaek, which are high pure degree colors by which color is changed depending on darkness and lightness, while that of Japan featured clothing colors combining various colors and middle colors.

In the modern society, the definition of life style has a special meaning. Because of the publicity of social Life, the compound numbers of behavior context and the diversify of Authority these days, the choosing life style is important for the self identity and the life activities. To erect the thesis of metaphoric process and meaning effect by stages, it will be studied and analyzed. Furthermore, studies about contrast, ambiguity, illusion, the element for meaning effect by stages, will be done. The Ubiquitous age Is a organic period for human, space and objects to interact to each other. This relationship can not be alternated by technology. Instead the technology can be a premise and because of the human being's new faculty of sensation, this age request emotional and interactive space design. In this modern life, the study of emotional and sensuous experience and metaphoric process can not be overlooked and should be researched more thoroughly to complete the theory of the new space design.

The purpose of this study is to provide a meaningful thought to professionals and administrators of Korea working for Consumer General Education development at their Universities. Also, tips for organizing and meaning Consumer General Education Curriculum effectively are provided. Finally, the study suggests essential elements to improve qualities of Consumer General Education in Korea Universities. This study's method are content analysis through web site and survey. The subjects of this survey were 257 students. The data were collected by qusetionaires developed by researcher and analyzed by frequencies, correlation Analysis, One Way Anova, Duncan Test, Factor Analysis, Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings were as follows: University students's satisfaction level about General Education was low and the needs level about Consumer General Education was high. And the education service quality showed factors to be administrative service element, professor service element, classroom environment element, communication element. And Multiple Regression Analysis on each of the education service quality factors had been significant effects for find out the differences in the degree of satisfaction.
