벚나무 열매의 색소 추출물에 의한 견 및 면섬유에 대한 염색성 및 견뢰도 (Dyeing and Fastness of Silk and Cotton Fabrics Dyed with Cherry Extract)

  • A natural colorants was extracted from cherry by 10wt% aqueous acetic acid solution as an extractant. Silk and cotton fabrics were dyed with the cherry extract in the temperature range of $40-80^\circ{C}$ and for the time range of 30-60min. by pre- and post-mordanting with various mordants, their dyeability and fastness were investigated. The natural cherry extract prepared in this study has a maximum absorbance at 520nm. It was found that the optimum dyeing temperature and time were $40^\circ{C}$ and 50min, respectively. The pre-mordanting method was more effective than post-mordanting. All mordants except $SnCl_2\cdot{2H}_2O\;and\;FeSO_4\cdot{7H}_2O$ were effective for silk fabrics. However, the dyeability on cotton fabrics increased in the order of $CrK(SO_4)_2\cdot{12H_2O>(CH_3COO)_2Cu\cdot{H}_2O>CuSO_4\cdot{5H}_2O>AlK(SO_4)_2\cdot{12H}_2O>FeSO_4\cdot{7H}_2O>SnCl_2\cdot{2H}_2O$ among the mordants used in this study Fastness(light, water, washing, perpspiration fastness) on the silk and cotton fabrics increased with using mordants. The post-mordanting using mordant$(CH_3COO)_2Cu\cdot{H}_2O$ among the various mordants in this study gave the best fastness.

마늘 에탄올 추출물의 이화학적 특성에 대한 추출조건의 모니터링 (Monitoring on Extraction Conditions for Physicochemical Qualities of Ethanol Extract from Garlic)

  • 마늘은 향신료로서 역할뿐만 아니라 생체기능을 조절하는 유용한 성분을 함유하고 있어서 건강 유지에 유익한 식품으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 마늘을 가공식품 소재로 활용하기 위하여 중심합성계획에 의한 반응표면분석법을 이용하여 마늘의 유효성분 함량을 다량 추출할 수 있는 최적추출조건을 모니터링하였다. Alliin 함량은 추출온도 $60.86^{\circ}C$, 추출시간 3.77 hr, 에탄올 농도 50.68%에서 최적이었고, allicin은 추출온도 $65.11^{\circ}C$, 추출시간 2.79 hr, 에탄올 농도 13.62%에서 최대값 8.23 mg%로 예측되었다. 총 페놀성 화합물 함량은 최대값 16.72 mg%로 예측되었으며 이 때 추출조건은 추출온도 $93.35^{\circ}C$, 추출시간 3.22 hr 및 에탄올 농도 10.38%로 나타났고, 전자공여능은 추출온도 $82.64^{\circ}C$, 추출시간 2.88 hr 및 에탄올 농도 0.43%에서 최적이었다. pH 1.2 및 3.0 아질산염 소거능은 추출온도 $79.77^{\circ}C$, $76.46^{\circ}C$, 추출시간 3.22 hr, 3.31 hr 및 에탄올농도 10.38%, 1.12%일 때 최대값은 94.85%, 63.22%이었다.

중간재가 질화규소/스테인레스 스틸 접합체의 굽힘강도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Interlayers on the Bending Strength of Silicon Nitride/Staineless Steel Joints)

  • The reactions between an active metal brazing alloy and interlayers together with the effects of interlayer type on the interfacial microstructure change were investiaged for silicon nitride/stainless steel joint. The bending strengths were measured for joints with Mo, Cu, Ni interlayer type of different thicknesses. It was found that the interlayer with a low yield strength value is effective to improve the bending strength of the Si3N4/stainless steel joint. The maximum joint strength obtained at room temperature for a laminated Cu/Mo interlayer was about 460 MPa. The combined use of Mo and thin Cu layer was found to be effective in enhancing the bending strength for the Si3N4/S.S.316 joint.

리브-웨브형 정밀단조에 관한 상계요소해석 (UBET Analysis on Precision Rib-Web Forgings)

  • An upper bound elemental technique (UBET) program has been developed to analyze forging load, die-cavity filling and effective strain distribution for flash and flashless forgings. The simulation for flash and flashless forgings are applied axisy mmetric and plane-strain closed-die forging with rib-web type cavity. Inverse triangular and inverse trapezoidal elements are used to analyze flashless forging. The analysis is described for merit of flashless precision forging. Experiments have been carried out with pure plasticine billets at room temperature. Theoretical predictions of the forging load and the flow pattern are in good agreement with experimental results.

  • Maintaining low temperature is very important in operating HTS cable termination in which Joule heat is generated at current lead. In this study, numerical analysis using FLUENT is performed to find an optimized flow conditions for effective cooling of HTS cable terminal system using subcooled liquid nitrogen (L$N_2$) as refrigerant. The variables considered here are mass flow rate of L$N_2$, location of inlet and diameter of inlet and outlet. Simplified models are investigated under these variables. Based on maximum temperatures in the cryostat, the configuration for effective cooling of HTS cable was determined.

  • Thermoelectric generation is the direct energy conversion method from heat th electric power. The conversion method is a very useful utilization of waste energy because of its possibility using a thermal energy below $150^{\circ}C$ This research objective is th establish the thermoelectric technology on a optimum system design method and efficiency, and cost effective thermoelectric element in order to extract the maximum electric power from a wasted hot water. This paper is considered in manufacturing a thermoelectric generator and measuring of electric resistance of module a thermoelectric modules. It was found that the electric resistance of thermoelectric modules was defined as a temperature functions. The relationship between electric resistance and temperature characteristics can be a analogized as function of electric current.

여름철 득량만의 열속과 관련한 성층 (Stratification related to Heat Flux in Deukryang Bay during Summer)

  • In order to see the stratification related to the heat flux In Deukryang Bay, the oceanographic data on July 12, 1994 and the meteorological data of Kohung and Kwangju meteorological stations were analysed. The temperature durerences between the sea surface and the near bottom were 1~3 ton spring tide (July 12, 1994) In Deukryang Bay. The temperature anomalies were high about 3t during summer In 1994. These mean that the non mixing was not effective In destroying the stratification due to the sea surface heating by the solar radition, even though it was on spring tide. The maximum solar radiation was about 600 ly/day, which was the value of the same date of oceanographic observation. The sensible and the latent heat flux which are 0~100 ly/day were not so varied during summer. The absorbed heat flux through the sea surface was mostly lost by the back radiation. which ranges are about 0~-400 ly/day. The dimensionless mixing parameter related to the buoyancy flux was 5~150$\times$$10^{-5}$. The efficiency of tidal mixing to destroy the stratecation was 0.4~0.6%.

  • Polymethyl Methacrylate(PMMA) mortars using EPS solution-based binders are prepared with various unsaturated polyester resin(UP) contents of binder, and tested for working life. heat exothorm temperature, length change. compressive strength and temperature dependence of compressive strength. As a result, the working life of PMMA mortar is lengthened with raising UP content of binder. Length change of the mortar was condensed from expansion to shrinkage with increasing UP content, and non shrinkage of the mortar is obtained at about UP content of $2.5\%$. The compressive strength of the mortar is increased with an increase in the UP content and reach maximum at UP content of $5\%$. However thermal resistance improvement of the mortar by increasing UP content was not recognized. UP resin was recommended as an effective agent for shrinkage control and strength development of PMMA mortar.

  • In this study, we prepared the nitrogen-containing carbon spheres with mesopore processed by a facile polymerization-induced colloid aggregation method including carbonization in order to investigate the characterization and the effect on their carbon dioxide adsorption behaviors. The carbonization temperature was varied in the range of $600^{\circ}C$ to $900^{\circ}C$. The nitrogen contents of the mesoporous carbon sphere were characterized using XPS. The carbon dioxide adsorption capacities of the prepared mesoporous carbon sphere were determined by the amounts of carbon dioxide adsorptions at 298 K and 1.0 atm. The results showed that the prepared mesoporous carbons were highly effective for the carbon dioxide adsorption due to the increasing the affinity of the basic functionalities of adsorbent surface to acidic carbon dioxide. Maximum adsorption capacities of carbon dioxide at $25^{\circ}C$ were achieved up to 106 mg/g.

제지 공정 적용을 위한 Cellulase의 정제 특성 및 처리 조건 선정에 관한 연구 (Purification Properties and Treatment Conditions of Cellulase for Papermaking Processes)

  • The main protein peak was observed in fraction No.9 and 109 when cellulase seperation was conducted by use of DEAE-Sephadex. The protein obtained from fraction No.9 has the characteristics of Cx component and that from fraction No.109 characteristics similiar to $C_1$ component. The effective reaction condition of the ensyme used was $40^{\circ}C$ in temperature. pH 5.0 and 90 minutes in treatment time. For the case of $C_1$ pH 5.5 in temperature range of $30^{\circ}C 50^^{\circ}C$, 4.0 5.5 in pH, and over 30 minutes of treatment time, the reaction was in the range of 80% of the maximum. Affinity of enzyme increased as freeness, increased, and this effect was more visible in fiber than in fines.
