Random beamforming (RBF) uses the signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) feedback to select users in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. A large number of users are required to obtain the gain of multi-user diversity for a downlink transmission. However, if the number is not large enough, it may be difficult to obtain multi-user diversity, leading to a rapid degradation in performance. To resolve this problem, we propose the beamforming matrix transformation and the user scheduling method. The beamforming matrix transformation scheme uses the SINRs of each users and have a better performance than conventional schemes over a small number of users. In addition, we propose the user scheduling scheme corresponding to the beamforming matrix transformation. In simulation results, we demonstrate that the sum-rate can be improved according to the number of users.

Effect of isochronic aging on transformation behavior of Ti-50.85at%Ni alloy were investigated by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The martensitic transformation temperature increases with increasing annealing temperature until reaching a maximum, and then decreases with further increasing annealing temperature. This can be rationalized by interaction between the distribution of $Ti_3Ni_4$ precipitates and Ni content in the matrix. The R-phase transformation temperature increases with increasing annealing temperature until reaching a maximum, and then decreases with a further increase of annealing temperature. This is attributed to the change of Ni content in the matrix caused by precipitation of $Ti_3Ni_4$. The occurrence of the multiple-stage martensitic and R-phase transformation is attributed to precipitation-induced inhomogeneity of the matrix, both in terms of composition and of internal stress fields.
We introduce technique for color transformation of characters between scenes in 2D animation. As colors are perceived differently owing to light source, so character colors like clothes, skin and so on are colored differently owing to atmosphere of each scene. This paper is made an attempt to solve mathematically color assignment of characters which has been worked by hand so far. We can find a matrix for color transformation of characters by appling principle of color stimulus to our algorithm. In scenes of existing 2D animation, basic colors and colors under light source of characters are used for the matrix. And matrixes are obtained for each scenes of 2D animation. If we are known basic colors of some characters, you can derive character colors under other light source environments using the matrix. Therefore, this paper describes automatic color transformation of characters between animation scenes.
In this paper, some results are obtained from studying convolution on the spectrum of full transformation semigroup and some of its subsemigroups using Cayley's table. The shift of ${\alpha}$ determines its eigenvalues and one-dimensional linear convolution is complex in Symmetric group.

Vibration modes obtained from a modal analysis can be better explained from a screw theoretical standpoint. A vibration mode can be geometrically interpreted as a pure rotation about the vibration center in a plane and as the twisting motion on a screw in a three dimensional space. This paper, presents the method to diagonalize a spatial stiffness matrix by use of a parallel axis congruence transformation. It also describes that the stiffness matrix diagonalized by a congruence transformation, can have the planes of symmetry depending on the location of the center of elasticity. For a plane of symmetry, any vibration mode can be expressed by the axis of vibration. Analytical solutions for the axis of vibration has been derived.
The automatic construction of large, high-resolution image mosaics is an active area of reasearch in the fields of photogrammetry, computer vision, image processing, and computer graphics. In this study, we describe a automatic mosaicing method that makes a panorama from images by placing camera in a emitted-grid. In the images captured by cameras, there must be a matched area and the area is in the particular area of the image. Initial transformation matrix, there(ore, is calculated from points searched in the partial area. It is possible to find best transformation matrix by Levenberg-Marquardt method. Finally, each images are multiplied by blending function and stitched by the transformation matrix to complete panoramic image.

We introduce the algorithms of 3-D position estimation using a laser sensor for automatic die remodeling. First, a vision sensor based on the optical triangulation was used to collect the range data of die surface. Second, line vector equations were constructed by the measured range data, and an analytic algorithm was proposed for recognizing the die location with these vector equations. This algorithm could make the transformation matrix without any specific corresponding points. To ascertain this algorithm, folded SUS plate was measured by the laser vision sensor attached to a 3-axis cartesian manipulator and the transformation matrix was calculated.

AC machines are in wide use in industry and d-q transformation from 3 phase of a, b, c is commonly used to analyze these kinds of machines. The equivalent circuits of d and q axis are, however, generally cross coupled and difficult to analyze. In this study, a modeling technique of AC machine including induction and PM synchronous motors using matrix vector is proposed. With that model, it can not only explain the AC machines physically but also make it simple to analyze them. The separating process of d and q components is not needed in this model and this model can be applied to analyze asymmetric motors like IPMSM machine. With this technique, the model becomes simple, easy to understand physically, and yields results that are the same as those from other models. These simulation results of the proposed model for induction motor are compared with those of other models to verify the method proposed.
Mullite-zirconia (0∼4 mol% yttria) composites were obtained by In-situ sintering of zircon and alumina mixture, and their mechanical properties were studied in conjuction with microstructure observation. Martensitic transformation temperature (Ms) of zirconia dispersed in the mullite matrix decreased with Y2O3 contents and was about 600$^{\circ}C$ for ZrO2 containing 4 mol% Y2O3. On cooling of this composites, tetragonal to monoclinic phase transformation induced microcracks at the grain boundary of mullite matrix. The microcracks seemed to absorb the fracture energy in stress field during mechanical tests. Therefore, toughening mechanisms of this composite were considered to nucleation and extension of microcrack, and crack deflection mechanism due to the difference of thermal expansion coefficient between matrix and dispersed phase.
The Boolean rank of a nonzero $m{\times}n$ Boolean matrix A is the least integer k such that there are an $m{\times}k$ Boolean matrix B and a $k{\times}n$ Boolean matrix C with A = BC. We investigate the structure of linear transformations T : $\mathbb{M}_{m,n}{\rightarrow}\mathbb{M}_{p,q}$ which preserve Boolean rank. We also show that if a linear transformation preserves the set of Boolean rank 1 matrices and the set of Boolean rank k matrices for any k, $2{\leq}k{\leq}$ min{m, n} (or if T strongly preserves the set of Boolean rank 1 matrices), then T preserves all Boolean ranks.
