  • In the presented paper, the first section contains strong convergence and demiclosedness property of a sequence generated by Karakaya et al. iteration scheme in a Hilbert space for quasi-nonexpansive mappings and also the comparison between the iteration scheme given by Karakaya et al. with well-known iteration schemes for the convergence rate. The second section contains some applications of the fixed point theory in solution of different mathematical problems.

  • We present the three-dimensional volume reconstruction model using the modified Cahn-Hilliard equation with a fractional Laplacian. From two-dimensional cross section images such as computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging slice data, we suggest an algorithm to reconstruct three-dimensional volume surface. By using Laplacian operator with the fractional one, the dynamics is changed to the macroscopic limit of Levy process. We initialize between the two cross section with linear interpolation and then smooth and reconstruct the surface by solving modified Cahn-Hilliard equation. We perform various numerical experiments to compare with the previous research.

  • The current article manages with new generalization of Post-Widder operators preserving constant function and other test functions in Bohmann-Korovkin sense and studies the approximation properties via different estimation tools like modulus of continuity and approximation in weighted spaces. The viability of the recently modified operators as per classical Post-Widder operators is introduced in specific faculties also. Numerical examples are additionally introduced to verify our theortical results. In second last section we introduce Grüss-Voronovskaya results and in last section, we show the better approximation our new modified operators via graphical exmaples using Mathematica.

  • In this paper, we obtain the general solution and the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of the additive-quadratic functional equation f(x + y, z + w) + f(x + y, z - w) = 2f(x, z)+2f(x, w)+2f(y, z)+2f(y, w).

  • We consider the applications of modulus to the boundary behavior of meromorphic functions in connection with the singularities. The proofs are based on the method of modulus. The relations between the moduli and the logarithmic capacities shall be introduced and we have shown that the conformal capacity is related to the modulus.

  • Let Y(t) be a stochastic integral process represented by Brownian motion. We show that YHt (t) is continuous in t with probability one for Molder function Ht of exponent ${\beta}$ and finally we derive asymptotic self-similar process YM (t) which converges to Yw (t).

  • The purpose of this paper was to investigate mathematics teachers' mathematical content knowledge about quadratic curves. Three components of mathematical knowledge are needed for teaching: (i) knowing school mathematics, (ii) knowing process of school mathematics, (iii) making connections between school mathematics and advanced mathematics. 24 mathematics teachers were asked to perform 10 questions based on mathematics curriculum. The results showed that mathematics teachers had some difficulties in conic section definitions and eccentricity definitions of ellipse and hyperbola. And they also got difficulty in Dandellin sphere proof of the equivalence of conic section definitions and quadratic curve definitions. Especially, no one answered correctly to the question about the definition of eccentricity. The ratio of correct answer for the question about constructing tangent lines of quadratic curves is less than that for the question about the applications of the properties of tangent lines. These findings suggests that it is needed that to provide plenty of opportunities to learn mathematical content knowledge in teacher education programs.
