전문가 지식 및 퍼지 이론을 연계한 물류설비 선정 방안에 관한 연구 (An Integrated Methodology of Knowledge-based Rules with Fuzzy Logic for Material Handling Equipment Selection)

  • 제조 라인의 설계에 있어서 물류설비의 선정은 매우 중요한 부분이다. 생산라인의 특성을 충분히 고려하여 물류설비를 선정하기 위해서는 다양한 요소들이 고려되어야 하며 그 요소들 가운데는 정량적인 요소(예, 자재 부피, 무게)들 뿐만 아니라 정성적인 요소(예, 유지 보수, 통합성)들도 포함된다. 정량적인 요소는 해당 물류설비의 사양 등을 통해 보다 쉽게 평가가 가능하지만 정성적인 요소는 객관적인 분석이 매우 어려운 부분이다. 실제 사례에서도 물류설비선정 시 정량적인 요소들만 검증되고 정성적인 요소들은 대부분 배제되는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 본 연구에서는 물류설비의 보다 효율적인 평가 및 선정을 위해 정량적인 요소뿐만 아니라 정성적인 요소들을 반영할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 전문가 지식 기반의 룰 (Rule) 및 퍼지 로직을 연계한 통합 방안을 개발하였다. 우선 전문가 지식 기반의 룰을 통해 해당 공정간 적절한 물류설비 유형 및 가능한 대안 유형들을 찾아내고 이들 중 정성적인 요소들까지를 반영하여 최적의 물류설비를 선정하기 위해 퍼지이론이 적용되었다. 본 연구를 통해 퍼지 이론의 제조 물류부분 적용 가능성을 제시하였다.

  • The remote operation of the Advanced Spent Fuel Conditioning Process (ACP) is analyzed by using the 3D graphic simulation tools. Since the spent nuclear fuel, which is a high radioactive material, is processed in the ACP, the ACP equipment is operated in intense radiation fields as well as in a high temperature. Thus, the equipment is operated in a remote manner and should be designed with consideration for the remote handling and maintenance. Also suitable remote handling technology needs to be developed along with the design of the process concepts. For this we developed a graphic simulator, which provides the capability of verifying the remote operability of the ACP without the fabrication of the process equipment. In other words, by applying virtual reality to the remote maintenance operation, a remote operation task can be simulated in the graphic simulator, not in the real environment. The graphic simulator will substantially reduce the cost of the development of the remote handling and maintenance procedure as well as the process equipment, while at the same time developing a remote maintenance concept that is more reliable, easier to implement, and easier to understand.

  • The Purpose of this paper is to describe and demonstrate a quantitative procedure for evaluating alternative material handling systems that are being considered for possible purchase. The procedure considers both quantitative factors(i.e. costs) and qualitative factors(i.e. equipment productivity) that should be considered in the evaluation process. Since these factors are not always quantifiable it is necessary that the procedure be able to quantify all factors in commensurable units. This is accomplished via a modification of the Brown and Gibson model for facility site location and selection. The model was demonstrated via a case example that encompassed the derivation of performance measures for three material handling systems.

Guidelines on the Operation Phases of Manual Material Handling Tasks Through Literature Reviews

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to suggest the guidelines of operation phases to minimize injuries and musculoskeletal disorders in manual material handling (MMH) tasks through literature reviews. The guidelines are presented as the preparing phase, lifting phase, carrying phase, and lowering phase. Also, we summarized the non-numerical general guidelines for MMH tasks. Background: Manual material handling is still a main cause to musculoskeletal disorders. Method: Procedures of a literature review are classified into database selection, keyword search, title review, abstract review related to literature selection, guideline review and arrangement. A total 48 papers and books were analyzed in detail by title and abstract reviews. Results: In the preparing phase, we suggested the basic conditions in MMH, preparing procedure, clothing and protective equipment, and education. In the lifting and carrying phases, we recommended maximal acceptable weight by frequency and body posture. In the lowering phase, we suggested the lowest weight and safety body postures. Finally, we recommended general guidelines and guideline items for MMH. General guidelines are presented to suggest worker selection, technical education, and work design parts. Conclusion: We suggested the guidelines on the four operation phases of MMH tasks such as preparing, lifting, carrying, and lowering phases. Application: The findings of this study can be utilized as guidelines for proactive recommendations according to workers in MMH tasks.

소방대원의 중량물작업에 대한 인간공학적 분석 (An Ergonomic Analysis for Heavy Manual Material Handling Jobs by Fire Fighters)

  • 본 연구에서는 소방대원이 수행하는 업무 중 중량물을 다루어야 하는 작업에 대한 분류 및 정량적 분석(NLE, 3DSSPP)을 수행하여 향후 소방대원의 중량물 관련 작업에 대한 위험도를 예측하고, 관련 위험도를 감소시키기 위한 기초 자료를 도출하고자 하였다. 도출된 위험도 등급은 위험도 점수가 3점부터 9점까지 총 7단계로 구성되었다. 가장 위험도가 높은 1등급은 나타나지 않았으며 인명구조 작업이 두 번째로 높은 2등급에 속하는 것으로 나타났다. 3등급은 파괴기구 활용, 환자 들어올리기작업 등으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과들은 소방대원의 허리 부상을 포함하는 근골격계 질환 예방을 위한 작업방법 및 장비의 개선, 교육 프로그램의 개발에 기본 토대가 될 수 있다고 판단되며, 소방대원들의 근골격계 질환에 대한 지속적인 예방을 위해서는 본 연구의 골격을 토대로 한 추후 심층적인 조사와 연구가 시급하다고 사료된다.

  • Spent nuclear fuel is highly radioactive and requires remote operation due to radiation exposure. Motors which have been used in the highly radioactive environments are a DC type because of their easy implementation on control system. However there are some problems such as mechanical maintenance of brush and commutator, high cost, and heavy material control. AC servo motors are applied and tested on fuzzy and conventional control algorithms. Fuzzy logic controls of AC servo give adequate control accuracy and power for spent fuel handling in radioactive environments.

  • The testing philosophy and control schemes are investigated and applied to construct the Automatic Microwave Leakage Inspection System (AMLIS) . AMLIS is consists of three major parts such as Material Handling Mechanism, Fine Positioning Mechanism and Scanning Mechanism. The material Handling unit is designed to perform loading and unloading microwave oven onto the testing point by pneumatic cylinder and vacuum pump. The Fine positioning part includes X-Y-.THETA. table and distance sensing equipment. The scanning part is composed of five SCARA robots, which traverse X-Y-Z catesian coordinates respectively. The leakage testing probes are placed at the end of this each robot then the path and speed are both controlled via microprocessors. A performance test of this system combined with electric parts and software is done and the basic major function of system are accomplished.

  • The physical condition of rapeseed delivered to fat industry plants plays a significant role in the formation of the qualitative features of the raw material for oil production and, consequently , of the oil itself. Rapeseed is stored in silos , frequently for months, before it is subjected to processing. During the long storage, the conditions of the seed cover is very important, as the seed cover provides natural protection of the seed against the effect of the environment. Seeds with damaged seed cover are more easily affected by mildew, and the rate of chemical processes. Deteriorating the quality of oil contained in the cotyledons is faster in such seeds. Cracked seed covers facilitates also the growth and development of microorgaism. So as rapeseed damage occurring inthe course of harvest and the post-harvest processing have a negative effect of the quality and quantity of oil the sees contain. The study presented here was aimed at examining the typical process of purcha ing and handling of rapeseed in fat industry plants, in the aspect of the occurrence of mechanical damage to the seeds. Special attention was paid to the condition of rapeseed immediately after combine harvesting : next , the successive stages of technological handling of the seed were examined. observing the operation parameters of the particular machinery and equipment in order to identify those operations which caused deterioration in the quality of the material (sees). Seed samples were taken successively from the following the hopper, prior to cleaning , after cleaning , prior to drying , after drying, from dry rape silo. The total level of damage increased through the handling. The content of unusable contaminants had the tendency to decrease in the successive operations. though the actual values still exceeded levels permitted by standards. The study allow to indicate the operation fo postharvest technological process, which cause the most seed damage as well as gave quantita ive description of the losses occurred.

  • In this paper, we discuss how to operate a buffer yard in an automated container terminal, which will be used for resolving the difficulties to which the interaction between external manned trucks and internal unmanned equipment led. The determination of fleet size of material handling equipment is an important issue in designing of buffer yard in automated container terminals. This research also addresses the issue of determining buffer capacities through simulation. By using response surface methodology (RSM) for efficient experimentation, the optimal combination of design parameters under applicable operational strategies is obtained.

  • 본 연구에서는 반도체 제조공정 및 클러스터 장비에 대한 상세히 설명하고 현 팹 레이아웃 및 클러스터 장비 아키텍처상의 문제점을 제시하였다. 또한 현 아키텍처상의 대안으로서 클러스터 장비간의 웨이퍼 이동이 상호 연결된 인라인 EFEM(Equipment Front End Module) 을 통해 이루어지는 ILE (In-Line EFEM) 아키텍처의 개념을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 해당 아키텍처를 실제 적용하여 구현된 파일럿 시스템을 시뮬레이션 을 통해 사이클 타임 관점에서 비교 분석하였다.
