Novel Database Classification and Life Estimation Model for Accurate Database Asset Valuation

  • 미래 지식의 사회에서는 비즈니스 데이터의 중요성이 증가할 것으로 예상되며, 기업이 제품을 제조하거나 서비스를 개발하기 위한 원재료로 인식되고 있다. 데이터의 중요성이 증가하면서 데이터베이스 자산의 경제적 가치를 판단하는 연구도 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 기존 연구는 데이터베이스 자산의 특성이 충분히 반영되지 않았다. 이에 본 연구에서는 데이터베이스 자산의 특성을 고려하여 데이터베이스 자산을 수익형, 비수익형과 공공재형 데이터베이스 자산으로 분류하였다. 또한, 수익형 데이터베이스 자산은 기존 기술가치평가와 유사하게 가치를 판단하는 것이 가능함에 착안하여, 기업의 위험 조정 할인율을 내포하는 데이터베이스 자산의 수명 산출 방법을 개발하였다.

웹 데이터베이스 기반의 건축자재 관리 시스템 (Construction Materials Management System Based on Web Database)

  • 인터넷 기술의 발달로 웹 서비스의 질은 꾸준히 향상되고 있으며, 다양한 분야에서 해당 분야에 적합한 정보를 효율적으로 관리하기 위해 웹 데이터베이스 시스템이 활발히 활용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 건축자재의 재사용을 목적으로 자재를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 웹 데이터베이스를 제안한다. 제안된 건축자재관리 시스템은 위치추정 모듈을 탑재한 RFID(: Radio Frequency IDentification) 시스템을 사용하여 획득한 데이터를 바탕으로 자재의 태그 ID, 위치, 자재명, 상태, 주기 등의 데이터를 수집하여 데이터베이스를 구축한 후, 스프링 프레임워크을 이용한 웹기반의 건축자재관리 시스템을 구현한다. 최근 건축현장에서 건물의 해체 시 발생하는 대량의 잔재를 처리하는 것에 대한 여러 문제점들이 부각되고 있다. 본 논문에서 제안된 웹 데이터베이스 기반의 건축자재관리 시스템을 활용함으로써 자재의 재사용율을 향상시켜 잔재처리의 문제점을 개선하고, 재사용 가능한 건축자재를 효율적으로 관리함으로써 건축비용 절감 효과를 가져 올 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • The relational database management systems sometimes require extremely long and complicated queries for a certain retreval. In this case, recursive retirevals are more efficient approach than the usual queries. Many researchers have tried to incorporate semantics in the traditional relational models using artificial intelligence techniques. This new concept becomes a deductive database and sometimes it is also called as a logic programming. However, the designer of a deductive database did not overcome the short of relational database. In this paper, we propose a new way of designing queries for the deductive database. We also provide relations for recursive retrieval in the deductive database. These approaches are applied for the material requirement planning.

  • Manufacturing companies should perform process planning and its evaluation concurrently with new product developments so that they can be highly competitive in the modern market. Process planners should make decisions in the manner of concurrent and collaborative engineering in order to reduce the manufacturing preparation time and cost when developing new products. Automated generation of analysis models from the integrated database, which contains process and material information, reduces time to prepare analyses and makes the models reliable. In this research, we developed a web-based system for concurrent and collaborative system for production flow analysis, using web, database, and simulation technology. An integrated database is designed to automatically generate analysis models from process and material plans without reworking the data. This system enables process planners to evaluate their decision fast and share their opinions with others easily. With this system, it is possible to save time and cost for assembly process and material planning, and reliability of process plans can be improved

  • Most recently, offshore Engineering & Construction field is concerned about integration management technology such as CIM(Computer Integrated Manufacturing), PDM(Product Data Management) and Enterprise Information Engineering in order to cope with the rapid change of engineering and manufacturer specification as per owner's requirement during construction stage of the project. System integration and integrated data modeling with relational database in integration management technology improve the quality of product and reduce the period of the construction project by reason of owing design information jointly. This paper represents the design methodology of system integration using Business Process Reengineering by the case study. The case study is about the offshore plant material information process from front end engineering design to detail engineering for the construction and the basis of monitoring system by integrating and sharing the design information between the 2D intelligent P&ID and 3D plant modeling using relational database. As a result of the integrated data modeling and system integration, it is possible to maintain the consistency of design process in point of view of the material balancing and reduce the design assumption/duration. Near future, this system will be expanded and connected with the MRP(Material Requirement Planing) and the POR (Purchase Order Requisition) system.

  • 본 연구에서는 이동식 탱크차량의 사고대응을 위해서 사고대응 가이드라인 작성, 사고대응 물질 데이터베이스 구축을 통하여 프로그램을 개발하였다. 가이드라인은 잠재원인 식별 후, FEMA(Federal Emergency Management Agency) 절차에 따라 작성하였고, 최초 물질 데이터베이스는 GHS(Globally Harmonized System)를 적용하여 구축했으며, 데이터베이스 간의 유사점 확인을 통해 사고대응에 최적화 된 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 마지막으로 Case Study를 통해 개발된 프로그램의 신뢰성을 확보하였다.

  • Purpose of this paper is to accummulate database of automotive steel sheet from mild steel to high strength steel in cold rolled steel sheets. Physical properties, mainly mechanical properties, of steel sheet are tested and all data are arranged to one sheet. Methods of test are composed of FLD, tensile strength test, chemical composition, surface roughness and product conditions. Finally this database will be helpful to automotive body designers and die designers to design automotive body parts and tools in a material point of view.

  • The object of this work is to develop an assessment system for pipeline integrity. The internal algorithm and the database of the system are described in this paper. The system consists of four module applications; the effect of corrosion in pipeline, crack, SCC (stress corrosion cracking) and fatigue module. The database of the system is separated to mainly four parts; geometry of pipeline, material properties, boundary condition and general properties. This system may give a guideline for maintenance and modifications.

  • Indoor air quality has attracted great attention in recent years and thus the importance of managing finishing materials in terms of pollutant source control is being emphasized. Managing the finishing material at the design stage maximizes the efficiency of IAQ control at the following construction stage. However, there are insufficient investigations on the application of a specific finishing material management process, a database management system or a finishing material management process network. As a result, the main purposes of this study comprise comprehensive evaluation of IAQ performance from the selected finishing materials and auxiliary materials, application of the material management system basing on the types and characteristics of toxic substances generated from the indoor finishing materials, investigation of IAQ evaluation standard, and the overall IAQ evaluation method for the design parts. The result of this study will be the basic data to construct DBMS for management of finishing materials with respect to IAQ.

  • Material Requirement Planning(MRP) has been the most widely implemented large scale production management system in the manufacturing industry. Computerization of MRP systems involves, in general, Bill Of Material(BOM) explosion algolithms which usually takes heavy computation time. In order to improve the effectiveness of the MRP systems, we propose to build a logical BOM database in advance, which reflects the Join operations for the BOM explosion. It reduces the response time for the BOM indented explosion. It reduces the MRP processing time. It also increased main memory utilization.
