Required characteristics of poly-Si TFT's are investigated for the implementation of analog circuits to be integrated on System-on-Glass (SoG). Matching requirements on resistor values, threshold voltage and mobility of poly-Si TFT's are derived as a function of the resolution of display system. Effective mobility of poly-Si TFT's required for the realization of source driver is analyzed for various panel sizes.

We propose a method of surface extension method using several functions. Interpolation theory is well developed in curve and surface. But extrapolation theory is not well developed because it is not unique outside the useful domain. It requires continuous, first derivative, second derivative continuous extension for matching in NC(Numerical Control) machine. In the past, we generate data outside the useful area and refit those data using least squares method. this has some problems which have some errors within the useful area. We keep the useful area and extend the unuseful area by a function

The number of matched peaks (NMP) is estimated as the spectral similarity measure in tandem mass spectral library searches of small molecules. In the high resolution mode, NMP provides the same reliable identification as in the case of a common dot-product function. Corresponding true positive rates are ($94{\pm}3$) % and ($96{\pm}3$) %, respectively.

This paper reals with the structure and function of duel mass flywheel. Damping effects of engine rotational fluctuation are compared with those of pre-damper clutch and duel mass flywheel and driven- system behavior is estimated engine idle r.p.m. The reason of gear rattle noise is higher in summer than winter and driving longer period than initial driving is due to affection by drag torque changing. The above-contents can be used on the design of clutch system and transmission matching including engine and duel mass flywheel.

We designed and fabricated a travelingwave CPW(coplanar waveguide) electrode for LiNbO$_3$ optical modulator. To Investigate the variation of microwave refractive index of these electrodes, we prepared the CPW electrode samples as a function of electrode thickness and measured the TDR and S-parameter. From this results, we could know the electrode conditions of index matching to 2.20 for 1550nm optical wave index for applying LiNbO$_3$ optical modulator and described. Also, we discussed the some properties of CPW electrode for applying LiNbO$_3$ optical modulator.

The previous LQ-servo PI design methods have some serious design problems happened from the frequency matching of the maximum and minimum singular values of loop transfer function at both low and high frequency regions on the Bode plot. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a new design technique based on the inverse-optimal control and convex optimization.

This paper describes eye detection algorithm using edge information and Support Vector Machine (SVM). We adopt an edge detection and labelling algorithm to detect isolated components. Detected candidate eye pairs finally verified by SVM using Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel. A detection rate over the test set has been achieved more than 90%, and compared with template matching method. this proposed method significantly reduced FAR.

The CIECAM02 were intended to be an empirical model, however, some aspects of the model are closely related to the human color vision mechanism. An H-Plane waveguide component with arbitrary shape is analyzed using finite element method(FEM) Cooperated with boundary element method(BEM). For the application of BEM in the waveguide structure, a ray representation of the waveguide Green's function is used. This technique is applied to the analysis of the waveguide inductive junction. The results are compared with the results of the mode matching technique. The comparison shows good agreement.
