영화 흥행과 관련된 영화별 특성에 대한 군집분석 : 웹 크롤링 활용 (Clustering Analysis of Films on Box Office Performance : Based on Web Crawling)

  • Forecasting of box office performance after a film release is very important, from the viewpoint of increase profitability by reducing the production cost and the marketing cost. Analysis of psychological factors such as word-of-mouth and expert assessment is essential, but hard to perform due to the difficulties of data collection. Information technology such as web crawling and text mining can help to overcome this situation. For effective text mining, categorization of objects is required. In this perspective, the objective of this study is to provide a framework for classifying films according to their characteristics. Data including psychological factors are collected from Web sites using the web crawling. A clustering analysis is conducted to classify films and a series of one-way ANOVA analysis are conducted to statistically verify the differences of characteristics among groups. The result of the cluster analysis based on the review and revenues shows that the films can be categorized into four distinct groups and the differences of characteristics are statistically significant. The first group is high sales of the box office and the number of clicks on reviews is higher than other groups. The characteristic of the second group is similar with the 1st group, while the length of review is longer and the box office sales are not good. The third group's audiences prefer to documentaries and animations and the number of comments and interests are significantly lower than other groups. The last group prefer to criminal, thriller and suspense genre. Correspondence analysis is also conducted to match the groups and intrinsic characteristics of films such as genre, movie rating and nation.

친환경 모바일 홈 사우나 디자인 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design Development of Environment-friendly Mobile Home Sauna)

  • The appeal of sauna is caused by the fact that through that, one can feel Korea's unique temperament and culture; however, because of its being a public facility and flooding of businesses due to excessive supplies of various additional features such as washing, playing, eating, sleeping and health care functions, issues of social resources and environment come to the fore, so it has reached a situation of red ocean that it is difficult to enter the market anymore. Taking these into account, this study focused on developing a thermal technology and design of the housing of an environment-friendly mobile home sauna, making the most use of the sauna's fundamental purpose and settling it as a tourist product, analyzing the marketing research on the existing sauna and considering the recent housing trends and lifestyles for a new concept sauna. Thus, regarding its characteristics and utilization, it was designed smaller than $10m^2$ (3 pyeong) so that it would be easy to install in any space and convenient to move. It can be installed in separate buildings and rest spaces such as country houses, resorts, pensions, camping grounds as well as outdoor houses, custom produced for a measure of pyeong that customers want so as to match up with the Enforcement Ordinance of the Agricultural Land Act in a concept of the farmer's hut and kitchen, bathroom and bathroom can be installed inside according to an option. In addition, regarding its efficacy, in order to give environment-friendly healing effects, materials such as Hinoki Cypress, red clay and hardwood charcoal were used, a fixed indoor temperature of $70{\sim}100^{\circ}C$ was maintained by heating methods such as electromagnetic wave free, energy saving and low-power boiler, and it was made to have excellent effects on fatigue recovery, relieving stress, skin care and diet through far-infrared emission.

위상 일치와 가변 지수 감쇠 가중치 부여 방법이 적용된 가상 저음 시스템 (Phase-matched Harmonic Generation and Variable Slope Exponential Weighting for Virtual Bass System)

  • 가상 저음 시스템은 기본 주파수 성분의 배음을 생성하여 스피커의 저역 재생 대역을 확장하는 방법으로 소형 스피커에 널리 사용된다. 가상 저음 시스템의 주관적인 성능은 배음의 가중치 부여 방법과 관련이 높기 때문에, 기존 연구에서는 지수 감쇠 가중치 부여 방법과 음색 매칭 방법 등 다양한 가중치 부여 방법이 제안되었다. 그러나 생성한 배음과 기존 신호간의 위상을 맞추지 않을 경우 정확한 가중치 부여가 불가능하다. 본 논문에서는 기존 가중치 부여 방법의 한계점을 분석하고 이를 개선한 가중치 부여 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법은 생성한 배음의 위상을 기존신호의 위상과 일치시키고, 기본 주파수에 따라 배음 가중치를 가변적으로 부여하는 방법이다. 기존 가상 저음 시스템과 객관 및 주관 비교 평가를 수행한 결과, 위상 일치 방법은 자연스럽고 효과적인 저역강화에 필수적임을 확인하였으며, 제안한 배음 가중치 부여 방법은 제한된 상황에서 기존 가중치 부여 방법보다 효과적임을 확인하였다.

역정규 손실함수를 이용한 기대손실 능력지수의 개발 (Development of Expected Loss Capability Index Using Reflected Normal Loss Function)

  • Process quality control, which prevents problems and risks that may occur in products and processes, has been recognized as an important issue, and SPC techniques have been used for this purpose. Process Capability Index (PCI) is useful Statistical Process Control (SPC) tool that is measure of process diagnostic and assessment tools widely use in industrial field. It has advantage of easy to calculate and easy to use in the field. $C_p$ and $C_{pk}$ are traditional PCIs. These traditional $C_p$ and $C_{pk}$ were used only as a measure of process capability, taking into account the quality variance or the bias of the process mean. These are not given information about the characteristic value does not match the target value of the process and this has the disadvantage that it is difficult to assess the economic losses that may arise in the enterprise. Studies of this process capability index by many scholars actively for supplement of its disadvantage. These studies to evaluate the capability of situation of various field has presented a new process capability index. $C_{pm}$ is considers both the process variation and the process deviation from target value. And $C_{pm}{^+}$ is considers economic loss for the process deviation from target value. In this paper we developed an improved Expected Loss Capability Index using Reflected Normal Loss Function of Spring. This has the advantage that it is easy to realistically reflect the loss when the specification is asymmetric around the target value. And check the correlation between existing traditional process capability index ($C_{pk}$) and new one. Finally, we propose the criteria for classification about developed process capability index.

선진국의 약가정책 고찰을 통한 건강보험 약가제도의 개선방안 (Suggestions for Redirection of Korean Price Policy for Reimbursement Drug in Health Insurance)

  • General drug prices involve three stages: shipment stage, wholesaler stage and retail stage. Policies on drug price differ from country to country. Shipment stage prices are tightly regulated in countries like France and Netherlands. They are free in only a minority of advanced countries, even if these include some major players such as the US, Germany and, in a very limited sense, Japan. The situation in the UK is very complex with a semi-free system, where drug companies are free to set their own prices but cannot exceed a predetermined profit ceiling. Mark-up at both wholesaler and retail stages is formally admitted in most countries observed. Apart from the general drug prices, reimbursement price of insured drugs has been major policy concerns. Most countries reviewed in this study has exerted some control over reimbursement prices, but differ both in the way how and in the extent to which prices are admitted or fixed. Price fixing has been used in France and Japan. Some countries have transformed their system over time, particularly to move to reference pricing in the last decade. This mechanism has empowered the customer, and improved price competition on the market. Referring to the drug price policies in the advanced countries, this study makes some suggestions for the redirection of Korean price policy for reimbursement drug in health insurance as follows: to match appropriate policy tools to each policy goal; to maximize market mechanism through effective reimbursement price fixing which admits mark-ups in wholesaler and retail prices; to introduce reference pricing system in order to redirect patient's demand with a financial incentive to choose the best-priced drugs and to save the finance of health insurance; and to strengthen surveillance and monitoring mechanism in the drug market.

  • 전통적인 모델 기반 제어 방법은 로봇의 센서계로부터 유추한 현 상황과 로봇이 가지고 있는 주변 환경에 대한 모델을 비교하고 이를 토대로 정교한 경로 계획에 따라 로봇을 구동하는 방식이다. 이러한 방식은 로봇의 주변 환경이 바뀌거나 동적으로 변화하는 경우에는 적용하기 어렵기 때문에 미리 알려져 있고 고정되어 있는 환경이 아니면 로봇이 성능을 발휘하기가 어렵다. 이에 반하여 행위기반 제어는 로봇이 처해있는 주변 환경에 대한 모델이나 경로 계획에 의존하지 않고 로봇의 특정한 센서 출력에 대하여 특정한 행위를 즉각적으로 수행하도록 구성되어 있어서 비구조적인 환경이나 동적으로 변화하는 환경에서 로봇에 적용하기가 좋다. 본 논문에서는 로봇이 처한 상황에 따라서 행위를 달리하는 상황의존형 행위기반 제어 구조를 제안하고 이를 1:1 2족 축구 로봇에 적용하여 그 효용성을 보인다.

유통기업을 위한 대학의 영어전공강의 성과분석: 이해도 제고와 학습성과를 중심으로 (The Effects of an English Lecture for a Korean Business Student: Enhancing Understanding and Learning Outcomes)

  • Purpose - This study investigated the effects of lectures in the English medium (EML) on understanding and learning outcomes. Sixty percent of EML lectures in Korea also use Korean for further support. Thus, this situation needs to clearly distinguish the specific impacts of the EML classes on learning outcomes. Here, we use the same English materials, including PowerPoint slides and video content, given in the Korean and English lectures. The difference between the lectures becomes only whether the lecture is delivered in Korean or English. Thus, we can clearly identify whether the language difference makes any difference in learning outcomes. Research design, data, and methodology - Our sample consisted of 91 students taking an international business course the spring of 2015. All course materials, including textbooks, PowerPoint slides, exams, video, and support content, were presented in English. Survey data and exam results were used. Students filled out their student identification number and name, so we could match the surveys against the exam results. Results - First, results show that whether the lecture was delivered in English or Korean was an important factor when students chose the class. Second, English proficiency related to international business and general English levels were higher in the English class than in the Korean class. However, the understanding of key concepts and reading abilities of international business newspapers were the same for students in both classes. Third, teaching materials and lectures were the most important material for the understanding of key concepts in the business major. Fourth, the exam results showed no difference in performance of the students in the English versus the Korean class. This shows that EML classes were not necessarily detrimental to the understanding of major concepts of the lecture. Thus, it is important that researchers carefully design empirical settings to study the effectiveness of EML. Conclusions - The English lecture can be as helpful for enhancing knowledge in the business major as the Korean lecture. For further research, various English lecture forms can be considered to distinguish the effects of the English lecture.

메시지 소구유형이 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향: 사회적 배제의 조절효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Appeal Type of Advertisement on Consumer's Prosocial Behavior: Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Social Exclusion)

  • Purpose - Previous studies on the influence of appeal types of advertising messages on pro-social behavior have shown inconsistent results. The purpose of this study is to examine whether the appeal type of advertising affects consumer's prosocial behavior. In particular, the authors investigated whether the social exclusion moderates the relationship between the appeal type of advertising and prosocial behavior. Research design, data and Methodology - To verify the hypothesis, two experimental study were conducted. The experimental study was 2(appeal type : self-benefit vs. other-benefit) by 2(social exclusion : being ignored vs. being rejected) between-subject design. Participants were randomly assigned to one of four conditions. The experiment was conducted using a computer. First, the participants was exposed to the advertising image used in the social campaign, and then responded to questions about social behavior. The participants completed the experiment after further responding to the item for manipulation check and demographic measure. The experiment took about 10 minutes in total. Results - In Study 1, a global warming campaign with participation intention variable, other-benefit ads rather than self-benefit ads drive consumers who feel socially rejected to be more willing and likely to participate, but consumers who feel socially ignored are more likely to participate the campaign in self-benefit ad than other-benefit ad. Study 2 replicates the findings, a child poverty relief campaign with an amount-to-donate variable: consumers who feel explicitly rejected allocate more dollars to the charity in response to other-benefit rather than self-benefit ads, but consumers who being ignored are willing to donate more money. Conclusion - This study has theoretical contribution in that it expands existing theories by explaining the existing inconsistent results of the message appeal influence on pro-social behavior through new control variables. In addition, the results have important managerial implications, suggesting marketers should tailor their marketing message to match the consumer situation.

온톨로지 기반의 센서 데이터를 이용한 환자 관리 시스템 (The Ontology-based Patient Management System using Sensor Data)

  • 최근 센서 데이터 통합최근 센서를 통한 상황인지는 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 센서 데이터의 수집과 분석은 아직 통합이 부족하다. 이는 센서에서 발생하는 데이터에 대하여 메타데이터, 규격, 단위, 검출된 값에서 일치시키기 어렵기 때문이다. 따라서 다양한 센서에서 발생하는 데이터를 효율적으로 이용하기 위한 방법론이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이동하는 iBeacon에서 발생하는 정보를 통하여 위치를 인식하는 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 본 시스템은 iBeacon을 착용한 환자가 실내에서 이동할 때 정확한 위치를 인식할 수 있는 데이터를 표본으로 온톨로지를 구축한다. 이는 기본 항목과 센서의 항목을 매핑하고, 검출된 값으로 필터링을 수행한 결과를 지식으로 저장한다. 이에 제안 시스템은 온톨로지를 통하여 iBeacon을 휴대한 환자가 실내에서 이동하여 발생하는 값을 인식함으로써 효율적인 위치정보를 추출할 수 있다. 이는 비콘 뿐만 아니라 다른 센서에 적용이 가능하고, 온톨로지 구성방법에 따라 다양한 적용이 가능하다.

정치적 위기에 대한 정당들의 위기대응 메시지와 뉴스보도와의 차이 (The Difference between News Coverage and News Release of Political Parties During A Political Crisis)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정치적 위기 상황에서 위기대응에 대한 언론보도와 정당의 차이를 조사하는 것이다. 과거 정치적 사례를 통해 정치적 상황, 정치적 집단의 위기대응, 언론보도를 살펴보았다. 본 연구가 살펴본 사례는 16대 대통령 선거운동에서 불법 선거자금 모금과 관련해서 두 정당(새천년민주당 vs. 한나라당)의 대응이다. 두 정당은 그들의 이미지 회복을 위한 위기대응 전략을 활용하였다. 본 연구는 위기대응메시지와 언론보도 메시지의 차이를 내용분석을 통해서 살펴보았다. 그 결과 특정 정당의 위기대응 메시지와 뉴스미디어는 차이를 보이지 않았으나, 다른 정당의 경우는 차이가 나타났다. 이러한 뉴스보도와 정당의 메시지 일치 여부는 공중의 위기평가에 중요한 영향을 미친다. 본 연구는 위기커뮤니케이션에서 조직의 위기대응 메시지와 뉴스미디어의 보도 차이의 중요성을 다뤘다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.
