This study was attempted to clarify the taxonomic problems that have been raised up to now in the study o section Telephium, genus, Sedum: the delimitation of taxa belong to Telephium group, their relationship, and nomenclatural confusion and the rank of Telephium group. Specimens were collected at 19 sites in Korea. The habitat, distribution, external morphological characters of habit, leaf shape, phyllotaxy, inflorescence, color of floral organs, floral formula, carpel, capsule, and micro-characters of pollen, seed coat, stigma and anther with SEM were examined. Through this study, the following results were obtained. The delimitation of taxa that belong to section Telephium in Korea and their relationship Nomenclatural errors were corrected. In S. rotundifolium Lee, species epithet“rotundifolium”is later homonym of s. rothundifolium Lamarck, so corrected to S. duckbongii Chung and Kim by article 64 of ICBN. Phyllotaxy was elucidated to meaningless, character in sect. Telephium. S. taquetii was a separate species from S. viridescens and not of its synonym. S. alboroseum Baker in Korea was S. erythrostictum sensu Master not of S. erythrostictum Miquel. By this study , taxa of sect. Telephium in Korea were arranged to 7 species. Considering interspecific relationship of sect. Telephium, S. duckbongii and S. alboroseum are considered to be more advanced forms and S. viridescens, S. taquetii, and S. viviparum to be more primitive forms among 7 species.

The purpose of this study is to determine in the minor characters in alternative versions of Pansori stories. Because, unlike the variations in the main characters, the changes in the minor characters seemed to clearly reveal the specific reasons to the enjoyers of Pansori literature. Bangja in Chunhyang-jeon serves as a narrator by providing information about characters and events, and enlivens the text by satirizing and ridiculing the feudalism class. He appears in certain narrative unit of Chunhyang-jeon and further expands in the order of encounter unit, farewell unit, and reunion unit. At the encounter unit, he helps the bachelor Lee and Chunhyang meet And in the farewell unit, he urges their separation and goes to Han Yang with his master Lee. At the reunion unit, Chunhyang's letter is delivered to the bachelor Lee. The following can be seen from the information above discussion. First of all, the 'Bangja' acquires the better occupation of stories. The enjoyers have changed that he regards as a important figure. Next, in Chunhyang-jeon, the expansion of the role of the Bangja was done in the direction of converging the few characters such as Mabu, Tongin, and the farmer. Especially, the increase of his proportion in the Pansori works can be related to the expansion of the theatricality. Finally, Bangja's frequency increases in the direction of the whole narrative, but it can not be seen as an increase that his role or function has increased. Because his function as a guide expands, but his function as a critic has diminished.

In this pape, we designed and implemented a hardware accelerator for the generation of bit map font from Hangul outline font description for LBP (Laser Beam Printer) and screen applications Whole system was implemented as a double size PC/AT application board which consists of processing bolck and display block. The processing block has a master processor (MC68000)and two slave processors which are MC56001 and KAFOG chip responsible for the short vector generation. In the display block, TMS34061 was used for monitor display and GP425 was used for LBP print out. The resolution of the monitor is 640$\times$480 and that of LBP is 2385$\times$3390. The current system called KHGB90-B generates about 100 characters per second where each character consists of 32$\times$32 bits

This study is to propose directions of waterfront planning about fishing village and harbor in East coast. Above all important waterfront-using in harbor, such as regional atmosphere and sea-scape are to investigate waterfront elements. For example, seaside park, harbor street mall, landmark, view point, promenade can be checked and design of waterfront may be possible to work out future harbor master plan. This study suggests that harbor of contemporary is to develop by regional waterfront characters. Accordingly, we analyze, it shows that the waterfront planning not only people of village but also visiting citizen is one of the important in developments about fishing village and harbor. As a results of this paper, we expect this research to be used as a valuable data in waterfront planning about fishing village and harbor.

The purpose of this note is to compare the rings of continuous functions, integer-valued or real-valued, in pointfree topology with those in classical topology. To this end, it first characterizes the Boolean frames (= complete Boolean algebras) whose function rings are isomorphic to a classical one and then employs this to exhibit a large class of frames for which the functions rings are not of this kind. An interesting feature of the considerations involved here is the use made of nonmeasurable cardinals. In addition, the integer-valued function rings for Boolean frames are described in terms of internal lattice-ordered ring properties.

Through Korean traditional opera (changgeuk) Medea, composer Hwang Ho-jun showed eclectic music idiom by 1) writing music (jakchang) on manuscript paper and score, 2) introducing the "song-through" format, 3) including various solo melodies, 4) maximizing the effect created by a singing narrator (dochang) with the chorus master and a mixed chorus, 5) seeking an interplay of tension and release by using both discord and chord, 6) achieving the effect of kil-bakkum, the Korean traditional method of modulation, through modulation and borrowed chord of Western music. In Medea, instrumentalists adopted suseong-banju (Korean traditional accompaniment) which does not spoil the voice of singers. Hwang adopted song for the way how singers express various hidden sides of play among song, aniri (narration) and balim (gesture) and introduced the Sung-through format in which the play is comprised entirely of song. In Medea, oral sounds expressing wail, lament, cheer, sneer and scream are often used and various solo melodies appear that fit for personalities of characters, clearly showing what bunchang (singers' singing songs divided according to characters) is all about. And discord and chord are effectively used according to the development and mood of play. Hwang also achieved successfully the effect of kil-bakkum by abandoning the traditional modulation method and boldly introducing modulation and borrowed chord of Western music.

The costumes (including mask) of the first World Master series of The National Changguk Company of Korea, Achim Freyer's 'Mr. Rabbit & Dragon king' is directly designed by Achim Freyer who was in charge of direction and stage design. The new form called Pansori opera is proposed for modernization of Korean traditional opera, it maintained the original form of music yet introduced play form of opera. The costumes and stage also promoted modernistic transformation while maintaining the original Korean form. The overall concept of 'Mr. Rabbit & Dragon king' costumes emphasizes comical effect by abstractness like childlike scribble. It expressed characteristic of characters diversely through exaggeration and expansion while maintaining original form of Hanbok, used surface of costumes as a drawing board, and created flat and geometrically transformed silhouette. The complicated characters was caricatured like everyone is doing mask play by using masks, and it still maintained sophisticated oriental color with modern application of five cardinal colors. It may seems it just mixed our traditional elements like a hint of humor, however, it could be known that it introduced various techniques in it to deliver new subject while maintaining the original form of 'Mr. Rabbit & Dragon king'. From this study, open mind for our tradition and need for diverse attempt could be rediscovered and could also see the possibility to contribute on creating a Nation Brand of traditional performing art.

In this paper, we proposed a contents of Chinese characters learning based on gesture recognition using HMM(hidden markov model) algorithm. Input image of the system is obtained in 3-dimensional information from the TOF camera, and the method of gesture recognition is consisted of part of forecasting user's posture in two infrared images and part of recognizing gestures from continuous poses. In the communication between human and computer, this system provided convenience that user can manipulate it easily by not using any further equipment but action. Because this system raise immersion and interest by using two large display and various multimedia factor, it can maximize information transmission. The edutainment Chinese character contents proposed in this paper provide educational effect that use can master Chinese character naturally with interest, and it can be expected a synergy effect via content experience because it is based on gesture recognition.

This article deals with one of the pansori master's life and activities. Bak Songhui(1927~2017), who was the holder of National Intangible Cultural Asset No. 5 for pansori Heungboga. She had played a significant role through the modern history of pansori genre including Yeoseong Gukkeuk(Korean classical opera by women) and Changgeuk(Korean traditional opera in pansori style) as well as original pansori itself. In the article, the early stage of her learnings and the way she got involved to pansori from Gwonbeon period are offered, and the activities by group, solo recitals, and educational activity lists are also provided. Bak Songhui began to learn pansori, Geommu(dance), Seungmu(dance), Gayageum, Yanggeum, and Gagok genres at her age of 13 in Gwangju. She fulfilled 5 years of study in Gwangju Gwonbeon, and entered to a Hyeomnyulsa-travelling theater company, led by Gim Yeonsu at her age around 19. Later, Bak used to be an actress in Yeoseong Gugak Donghohoe(Female Korean music fans' club) led by Gim sohui as well as in Haennim Gukkeukdan, and Saehan Gukkeukdan at around her age of 30. She took the main actress' role in several performances. And thanks to her effort, the Yeoseong Gukkeuk can be one of the representative genre in history. As she entered to the National Changgeuk company, her brilliant talents worked well by leading the company's big hit with her talents of taking many different characters, devotions, and know-hows from her experience. After her 70s, she kept the pansori go on its right way to pass down. She unfolded pansori performances as well as her own students' public presentations, recordings, TV and radio broadcasting activities as the holder of National Intangible Cultural Asset. The activities that Bak Songhui showed us can become another chance to make her a great master of pansori, especially in Dongpyeonje style.

This research is aimed to automate the generating process of the database from paper based table forms like this work. The registration table has so complicate table structures, ana in this research we used the registration tables as an example of general table structure understanding. We propose a table structure understanding system for some table types, and it has some steps. The first step is that the document images on paper are read from the image scanner. The second step is that a document image segments into some tables. In the third step, the character strings is extracted using image processing technology and the property of the character strings is determined. And the structured database is generated automatically. The proposed system consists of two systems. "Master document generation system" is used for the table form definition, and it doesn′t include the handwritten characters. "Structure analysis system for complete d table" is used for the written form, and it analyzes the table form filled in the handwritten character. We implemented the system using MS Visual C＋＋ on Windows, and it can get the correct extraction rate 98％ among 51 registration tables written by the different students.
