시선추적 장치를 활용한 부정적 감정표현 이모티콘의 시각적 주의집중도 분석 (Analysis of Visual Attention in Negative Emotional Expression Emoticons using Eye-Tracking Device)

  • Currently, the development and sale of various emoticons has given users a wider range of choices, but a systematic and specific approach to the recognition and use of emoticons by actual users is lacking. Therefore, this study tried to investigate the subjective perception and visual attention concentration of actual users on negative emotional expression emoticons through a survey and eye tracking experiment. First, as a result of subjective recognition analysis, it was found that emoticons are frequently used because their appearance is important, and they can express various emotions in a fun and interesting way. In particular, it was found that emoticons that express negative emotions are often used because they can indirectly express negative emotions through various and concretely expressed visual elements. Next, as a result of the eye tracking experiment, it was found that the negative emotional expression emoticons focused on the large elements that visually emphasized or emphasized the emotional expression elements, and it was found that the focus was not only on the facial expression but also on the physical behavioral responses and language of expression of emotions. These results will be used as basic data to understand users' perceptions and utilization of the diversified emoticons. In addition, for the long-term growth and activation of the emoticon industry market in the future, continuous research should be conducted to understand the various emotions of real users and to develop differentiated emoticons that can maximize the empathy effect appropriate to the situation.

A HPLC-UV method for quantification of ivermectin in solution from veterinary drug products

  • The HPLC conditions for analysis of ivermectin in solutions dosage forms of commercial anthelmintics are different for each product. The purpose of this study was to establish a standardized chromatographic method for the quantification of ivermectin in solution. The separation was achieved on Waters Xbridge C18 column (4.6×150 nm, 5 ㎛) using different kinds of mobile phase composed of water/methanol/acetonitrile (15/34/51, v/v and 19.5/27.5/53, v/v), with UV detection at wavelengths 245 nm and 254 nm. A total of five commercial ivermectin in solution samples were analyzed. In this study, the optimal chromatographic conditions for analysis of ivermectin in solution were mobile phase of water/methanol/acetonitrile (15/34/51, v/v) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min and a detection wavelength of 245 nm using a Waters Xbridge C18 column (4.6×250 nm, 5 ㎛) at a column temperature of 25℃. The linearity was observed in the concentration range of 50~150 ㎍/mL, with a correlation coefficient, r2= 0.99999. The limit of detection and the limit of quantification were 0.88 and 2.68 ㎍/mL, respectively. The accuracy (% recovery) was found to be 98.9 to 100.3%. Intra-day and Intermediate precisions with relative standard deviations were less than 1.0%. The content of ivermectin for five market samples ranged 91.2~102.7%. The proposed method was also found to be robust, therefore, the method can be used for the routine analysis of ivermectin in solutions dosage forms.

한국의 소재부품산업 육성을 위한 핵심광물 선정 연구 (Study on Evaluation of Critical Minerals for the Development of Korea's Materials-parts Industry)

  • COVID-19를 겪으면서 광물자원의 공급망 관리 중요성이 극대화되었다. 특히 수요 및 공급 관리가 어려운 광물자원은 우리나라가 적극적으로 추진하고 있는 소재부품산업의 원료확보 차원에서 공급망 관리가 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 광종별로 글로벌 공급위험과 공급위험 발생시 국내 경제적 영향의 유·무형 요인을 정량화하고 위험상태 행렬(criticality matrix-criticality level)을 이용하는 핵심광물을 선정하는 체계를 수립하고 평가를 수행하였다. 독과점성, 생산국가 불안정성, 사회환경정책 규제성, 수입 불안정성, 리스크 대응력, 시장규모, 시장 확장성, 경제적 중요성 등을 평가항목으로 하였다. 국내 신성장 사업에 활용되는 40여종의 광물을 평가하여 15종(Li, Pt, Co, V, REE, Mg, Mo, Cr, Ti, W, C, Ni, Al, Mn, Si)을 핵심광물로 선정하였다. 해당 결과는 자원안보 강화를 위한 정책 수립과 기업의 원료 포트폴리오 구성을 위한 의사결정 등에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

시판 식해의 관능적 특성 (Sensory Characteristics of Commercial Sik-haes)

  • Sik-hae is a traditional and well-liked salt-fermented seafood with a low salt concentration in Korea. However, it is challenging to find data on market degradation. This study was conducted to investigate sensual characteristics, such as taste, odor and color, of 10 types of commercial Sik-haes [flounder (5 type), Alaska pollock (2 type), black edged sculpin, anchovy, and sandfish] as basic data for developing new products. The salinities of the commercial Sik-haes were significantly difference in the range of 3.0-6.7%. The pH and total acidity of 10 types of commercial Sik-haes were 4.45-5.24 and 0.84-1.46 g/100 g, respectively. The amino acid nitrogen and free amino acid contents, and total taste value were 72.0-333.0 mg/100 g, 425.6-1,726.4 mg/100 g and 17.0-115.9, respectively. According to the taste value, the major taste-related amino acids were aspartic acid and glutamic acid. Volatile basic nitrogen content and Hunter redness value of commercial Sik-haes were 24.5-80.9 mg/100 g and 10.9-28.5, respectively. However, food-grade additives, such as citric acid and monosodium, are occasionally used in commercial Sik-haes to achieve a lower pH or enhance flavor and aroma.

  • The use household water purifier is continuously increasing due to the distrust of the piped, rap water, which may be caused by the deterioration of water quality and water supply facilities in Korea. The water purifier distributing in the domestic market is the membrane type that composes of membrane as a basic filter, sediment filter as a prefilter and activated carbon filter instead of one purifying water system. The membrane type using as a water cleaning system is mainly the method of micro filtration(NIF) as well as ultra filtration(UF) and reverse osmosis(RO). The types of MF and UF are using to remove suspended solids and virus, and RO is using to remove ionic compound in chemical organic compounds. At the beginning the household water purifier was imported as end-product or assembled by only importing module from small businesses in Korea. Therefore, people was hard to confide in the product quality because the sales policy and management of water purifier by small business were not effectively organized. However, the defects of water purifier having up to now ate improving by the efforts of special branches of water purifier and large enterprises, and new great products are developing and producing. To develop the best quality product of water purifier in Korea, it should be considered seasonal water characteristrics rather than any other condition. For example, the water purifier can be affected by the water temperature change, increase of suspended solids in the rainy season and inflow of raw water having concentration in a dry season. The subject we have to investigate in the future is to develop the water purifying system adaptable in Korea which can treat the water quality using close analyses of local and seasonal water characteristics.

Red Ginseng Marc and Steamed Extraction Powder Enhance Proliferation and Inflammatory Cytokine Modulation in Canine PBMCs Stimulated by IL-2

  • The growing market for companion animals, combined with their increasing lifespan, has generated an increased interest in companion animal immunity enhancers. Ginsenoside, a saponin component of ginseng and an essential ingredient of red ginseng marc (produced during red ginseng production), is effective in improving immunity. In this experiment, a powder mixture of red ginseng marc and steamed red ginseng extract powder (RGME) was orally administered to dogs for eight weeks. Subsequently, blood samples were collected and tested every four weeks. In addition, canine peripheral blood mononuclear cells (cPBMCs) were stimulated with or without interleukin-2 (IL-2) to evaluate their proliferation and cytokine secretion abilities. Proliferation assay suggests that the administration of RGME effectively enhanced numbers of cPBMCs under IL-2 stimulation. Furthermore, in the RGME group, a significant increase in the concentration of interferon gamma released from cPBMCs under IL-2 stimulation was observed. In conclusion, RGME might be an effective health supplement for improving immunity in dogs.

국내 방송 콘텐츠 제작사의 기업 전략 특성 (Corporate strategy in Korean Contents production industry)

  • 미디어 기업은 21세기 들어 그 어떤 산업분야보다 급격한 환경 변화를 겪고 있다. 크고 작은 진입장벽으로 신규 진입이 용이하지 않았던 방송 분야에서는 IPTV, OTT 등 플랫폼이 다양해지면서 콘텐츠 수요가 크게 증가하였고, 이는 다양한 플레이어가 제작시장에 진출하는 계기가 되었다. 이에 따라 수직적 통합구조로 자체제작에 집중하던 지상파 방송사도 제작사를 분사하거나 신설하고 있으며, 엔터테인먼트 기업을 대표로 하는 새로운 진입자는 기존의 방송사업자가 추진하지 못했던 다양한 기업전략을 실행하고 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 기존의 독립 제작사도 재무안정성 제고를 위해 유가증권 시장에 진출하거나, 사업다각화로 국내 제작시장의 한 축을 유지하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 미디어산업의 생태계를 구성하고 있는 다양한 기업 중 매출액 기준 50위권의 방송 프로그램 제작사를 대상으로, 기업전략의 특성을 살펴보고자 하였다. 분석 대상은 모기업의 유형을 중심으로 방송사 계열, 엔터테인먼트 계열, 독립 계열로 각각 구분하였고, 각사의 홈페이지 공시 내용과 기업 IR 자료, 증권감독원에 제출된 감사보고서 및 신문 기사 등의 자료를 2차 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 세 유형의 제작사들은 자본 확보방식이나 사업 분야, 다각화 방식 등에서 다양한 특성을 나타내었다.

LC-MS/MS를 이용한 벌꿀 중 스트렙토마이신 분석 (Analysis of streptomycin in honey by LC-MS/MS)

  • 스트렙토마이신은 아미노글리코사이드계 항생제중의 하나로써 가축, 가금류의 질병 치료와 예방에 널리 사용되고 있다. 국내에서는 양봉용으로는 허가되어 있지 않지만 일부 국가에서는 유럽형 부저병과 같은 세균성 벌꿀 질병의 치료에 사용되는 것으로 알려져 있다. LC-MS/MS를 이용하여 벌꿀 중에 잔류하는 스트렙토마이신(streptomycin)을 분석하는 방법을 확립하였다. 확립된 분석법은 재현성과 정밀성을 높이고 미량까지 검출할 수 있도록 회수율을 높이기 위하여 정제 및 추출과정을 최적화 하였으며, 효과적인 분석을 위해서 액체 크로마토그래피(HPLC) 와 텐뎀 질량분석법(tandem mass spectrometry)의 조건들을 최적화하였다. 확립된 방법은 5.0~50.0 ug/kg 농도에서 5.5~14%인 정밀성(RSD)을 나타내었으며, bias로써 -10.0~8.0%의 정확도를 나타내었다. 한편, 스트렙토마이신을 벌꿀 공 시료에 10.0 ug/kg의 농도로 소량첨가한 후 얻은 회수율은 74%이었고, 정량한계(LOQ)는 0.75 ug/kg이었다. 확립된 벌꿀 중 스트렙토마이신 분석법을 이용하여 실제 벌꿀시료에 적용한 결과 몇몇 시료에서 소량의 스트렙토마이신이 검출되었다.

시선 추적기법을 활용한 시선 유도와 사이버 멀미 관계 연구 (A study on the relationship between gaze guidance and cybersickness using Eyetracking)

  • 가상현실 시장의 규모는 해마다 성장하고 있으나 가상현실에서 일어나는 사이버 멀미는 아직까지 해결되지 않고 있다. 본 논문에서는 가상현실 콘텐츠에서 일어나는 사이버 멀미와 시선 유도와의 관계에 대해 실험을 통해 결과를 도출하였다. 시선추적기법을 활용하여 시선의 움직임이 사이버 멀미와의 관계를 파악하였다. 시선 유도가 사이버 멀미에 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위해 두 그룹으로 나누어 실험하였다. 또한 사이버 멀미가 성별에 따라 다른 결과를 보이는지 확인하기 위해 두 그룹을 나누어서 결과를 분석하였다. 사이버 멀미를 측정하기 위해 SSQ설문을 사용하여 분석하였다. 두 가지 방법을 통해 시선 유도와 사이버 멀미와의 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 실험의 결과 명확한 시선의 유도가 시선의 집중이 일어나게 하였으며 카메라의 회전을 통한 사이버 멀미에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 사이버 멀미를 완화하기 위해서는 시선 유도연출을 통해 시선의 집중을 하게 하는 것이 사이버 멀미에 효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 이 결과가 가상현실을 이용해서 제작하려는 제작자들에게 사이버 멀미를 완화할 수 있는 하나의 방법으로 사용되어 콘텐츠 제작에 도움이 되기를 기대한다.

Problems and suggested improvement plans for occupational health service in Korea

  • The purpose of this paper was to review the problems relating to Korea's occupational health services and suggest ways to improve them. Korea can be classified as a welfare state type of conservative corporatism partially interwoven with liberalism. While experiencing compressed economic growth, the economic sectors of developed (excess areas) and developing (deficient areas) countries are interwoven. Therefore, it is necessary to perfect conservative corporatism along with a complementary reinforcement of liberal contents and to apply a multilayered approach focusing on complementing the deficient areas. It is essential to form a national representative indicator related to occupational health, and a strategy for selection and concentration is needed. The proposed central indicator is the occupational health coverage rate (OHCR), which is the number of workers who have applied for mandatory occupational health services under the Occupational Safety and Health Act in the numerator with the total working population in the denominator. This paper proposes ways to raise the OHCR, which is currently at the level of 25%-40%, to 70%-80%, which is the level of Japan, Germany, and France. To achieve this target, it is necessary to focus on small businesses and vulnerable workers. This is an area of market failure and requires the active input of community-oriented public resources. For access to larger workplaces, the marketability of services should be strengthened and personal intervention using digital health resources should be actively attempted. Taking a national perspective, work environment improvement committees with tripartite (labor, management, and government) participation for improvement of the working environment need to be established at the center and in the regions. Through this, prevention funds linked to industrial accident compensation and prevention could be used efficiently. A national chemical substance management system must be established to monitor the health of workers and the general public.
