The proposed encryption algorithm strengthens its security by converting pixel-specific values and changing pixel positions. The state transition matrix created by Wolfram's rule creates a complemented CA sequence with the maximum length. Then, we convert the sequence into a 2D basis image and go through a XOR operation with the original image. The final encrypted image is created by shear stressing and rearranging. The image stability analysis verified that the proposed encryption method has high security.

Recently, research on hologram, which can realize perfect 3-dimensional imaging, becomes more active. But hologram has the defect that it costs a lot in generation. Thus, this paper proposes a method to generate a new digital hologram contents by manipulating the existing digital hologram contents. That is, this paper proposes the method to manipulating the digital hologram contents by manipulating and/or synthesizing the depth information to get a new digital hologram contents. The proposed methods have been experimented with various depth informations and digital hologram contents. For each kind of depth information, it has been manipulated for its position and distance. The result was converted to a digital hologram by the computer-generated hologram method and the resulting hologram was reconstructed.

Recently, as underground space safety issues such as sink hole, ground subsidence and damage to old underground facilities have been increasing in urban areas, the precise management of underground facilities ins more required. Thus, this study developed a function to that, visualize on Integration Map of Underground Geospatial Information a real-time survey data of underground facilities acquired on site or underground facility survey data acquired through on-site survey after underground facility exploration and developed a function convert to surveying-results. In addition, using the on-site survey performance utilization function in connection with the Integration Map of Underground Geospatial Information developed through this study, the surveying -results obtained with the Total-station at the water pipeline burial construction site in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul are visualized on the Integration Map of Underground Geospatial Information and On-site verification was performed by converting spatial-information performance files and transmitting the Integration Map of Underground Geospatial Information to the mobile center. Based on this, it was possible to verify the work procedure using the surveying-results in the area where the Integration Map of Underground Geospatial Information was built, and to review the direction of future improvement directions.

In this paper, we propose a haptic display system that can convert Braille and tactual map(braille map) to tactile information recognizable through sense of touch almost in real-time. The proposed system consists of a haptic display hardware device, which actually delivers tactile signal to visually impaired people, and a device control software program, which converts Braille and tactile information to tactile signal and transfers it to the hardware device. Experimental evaluations of the proposed system were performed with 10 visually impaired persons. Experimental results show that the proposed system can provide similar Braille recognition rate and speed to those of existing Braille information devices. In addition, the proposed system converts tactile information to tactile signal under maximum 1.1 seconds, so that it can provide graphic information in almost real-time which is not possible with existing tactile devices, such as Braille printer.
Multidimensional scaling (MDS) is an exploratory analysis of multivariate data to represent the dissimilarity among objects in the geometric low-dimensional space. However, a general MDS map only shows the information of objects without any information about variables. In this study, we used MDS based on the algorithm of Torgerson (Theory and Methods of Scaling, Wiley, 1958) to visualize some clusters of objects in categorical data. For this, we convert given data into a multiple indicator matrix. Additionally, we added the information of levels for each categorical variable on the MDS map by applying the partition method of Shin et al. (Korean Journal of Applied Statistics, 28, 1171-1180, 2015). Therefore, we can find information on the similarity among objects as well as find associations among categorical variables using the proposed MDS map.
The climate change has been observed in Korea as well as in the entire world recently. The rainstorm has been gradually increased and then the damage has been grown. It is getting important to predict short-term rainfall. The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) generates numerical model outputs which are computed by Global Data Assimilation and Prediction System (GDAPS) and Regional Data Assimilation and Prediction System (RDAPS). The KMA predicts rainfall using RDAPS results. RDAPS model generates 48 hours data which is organized 3 hours data accumulated at 00UTC and 12UTC. RDAPS results which are organized 3 hours time scale are converted into daily rainfall to compare observed daily rainfall. In this study, 9 cases are applied to convert RDAPS results to daily rainfall data. The MAP (mean areal precipitation) in Geum river basin are computed by using KMA which are 2005 are used. Finally, the best case which gives the close value to the observed rainfall data is obtained using the average absolute relative error (AARE) especially for the Geum River basin.

In this paper, we convert underwater acoustic signal made by sonar system into digital image. We propose the algorithm that detects target candidate and emphasizes information of target introducing image processing technique for the digital image. The process detecting underwater target estimates background noise in underwater acoustic signal changing irregularly, recomposes it. and eliminates background from original image. Therefore, it generates initial target group. Also, it generates weighted map through proceeding doppler information, ensures information for target candidate through filtering using weighted map for image eliminated background noise, and decides the target candidate area in the single frame. In this paper, we verified that proposed algorithm almost had eliminated the noise generated irregularly in underwater acoustic signal made by simulation, targets had been displayed more surely in the image of underwater acoustic signal through filtering and process of target detection.

In this paper, when stereo image, satellite view and corresponding depth maps were used as the input data, we propose a new method that convert these data to data format suitable for compressing, and then by using these format, intermediate view is synthesized. In the transmitter depth maps are merged to a global depth map and satellite view are converted to residual image corresponding hole region as out of frame area and occlusion region. And these images subsampled to reduce a mount of data and stereo image of main view are encoded by HEVC codec and transmitted. In the receiver intermediate views between stereo image and between stereo image and bit-rate are synthesized using decoded global depth map, residual images and stereo image. Through experiments, we confirm good quality of intermediate views synthesized by proposed format subjectively and objectively in comparison to intermediate views synthesized by MVD format versus total bit-rate.

In recently, ship trajectory data consisting of ship position, speed, course, and so on can be obtained from the Automatic Identification System device with which all ships should be equipped. These data are gathered more than 2GB every day at a crowed sea port and used for analysis of ship traffic statistic and patterns. In this study, we propose a method to process ship trajectory data efficiently with distributed computing resources using MapReduce algorithm. In data preprocessing phase, ship dynamic and static data are integrated into target dataset and filtered out ship trajectory that is not of interest. In mapping phase, we convert ship's position to Geohash code, and assign Geohash and ship MMSI to key and value. In reducing phase, key-value pairs are sorted according to the same key value and counted the ship traffic number in a grid cell. To evaluate the proposed method, we implemented it and compared it with IALA waterway risk assessment program(IWRAP) in their performance. The data processing performance improve 1 to 4 times that of the existing ship trajectory analysis program.
The purpose of this paper is to examine the dissolution process of Dongnae-bu Dongheon Block(東萊府 東軒 一廓) under the Rule of Japanese. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the space orgnization of Dongnae-bu Dongheon Block(東萊府 東軒 一廓) proved to be clear on the basis of Dongnae-bu Eupji(東萊府 邑誌), the ficture of Dongnae-bu(東萊府) and the Original Land Registration Map(地籍原圖) at the end of Joseon Dynasty. Second, the old government offices, as well as Chungsin-dang(忠信堂), were converted into the local government office for the sake of Japanese colonialism. Third, the old government office and its land were transferred to the banking system(金融組合) and the educational foundation(學校組合) in the interests of Japanese colonist. Finally, the transfer land of civilian industry association forced Mangmi-ru(望美樓) and Dokjin-daeamun(獨鎭大衙門) to remove to another site and the private lots-subdivision assisted space taking to pieces.
