보건과학분야의 마네킹 시뮬레이션 교육 (Mannequin Simulation in the Health Science)

  • 본 논문은 보건과학분야에서 활용되는 마네킹시뮬레이션 교육을 알아보고자 한다. 마네킹 시뮬레이션은 의과대학 교육뿐 아니라, 응급구조학과 교육, 구조구급 분야에 종사하는 소방공무원, 간호사, 치과대학, 마취과학등 의료의 여러 영역에서 다양하게 이용되고 있다. 본 연구는 시뮬레이션의 역사, 시뮬레이션의 진화과정, 시뮬레이션을 이용한 문제중심학습(problem-based learning, PBL)의 활용에 이르기까지 마네킹시뮬레이션 교육의 현황을 설명하고자 한다.

  • Simulators were introduced in education as a tool to make advanced training standardized, less expensive, and without danger to those involved. In 1922 in the Unites States, Edward Link presented his homemade flight simulator, which became common place in both military and civilian aviation, known as the "Link Trainer". The development of mannequin simulators used for education, training, and research is reviewed, tracing the motivations, evolution to commercial availability, and efforts toward assessment of efficacy of those for teaching cardiopulmonary resuscitation, cardiology skills, anaesthesia clinical skills, and crisis management. This will provide a brief overview of simulators and trainers in several domains.

자동차 시트 및 마네킹 시스템의 강제 진동 (Forced Vibration of Car Seat and mannequin System)

  • A simplified modeling approach of forced vibration for occupied car seats was demonstrated by using a mathematical model presented in 'Free Vibration of Car seat and Mannequin System' nonlinear and linear equations of motions were rederived for forced vibration and the transfer function was used to calculate the frequency response function. The experimental apparatus were set up and hydraulic shaker was used to obtain the system responses. Through the tests mannequin's head had a lot of problems and the responses with a head and without a head were measured. To explore the effects of linear dampings and friction moments at the joints linear analyses were performed. New sets of linear spring and damping coefficients and torsional dampings at the joints were calculated through parameter study to match up with experimental results. Good agreement between experimental and simulation frequency response estimates were obtained both in terms of locations of resonances and system deflection shapes at resonance indicating that this is a feasible method of modeling seated occupants.

간호대학생을 위한 정맥주사용 가상학습 시뮬레이터와 마네킨 팔 모형을 병합한 정맥주사 실습교육의 효과 (Educational Effects of a Virtual IV Simulator and a Mannequin Arm Model Combined Training in Teaching Intravenous Cannulation for Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 정맥주사용 가상학습 시뮬레이터와 마네킨 팔 모형을 병합한 정맥주사 실습교육이 간호대학생의 지식, 수행자신감, 간호수행능력에 미치는 효과를 확인하기 위한 연구이다. 본 연구설계는 비동등성 대조군 사전 사후 유사실험설계를 사용하였다. 연구의 참여자는 일 대학 기본간호학을 수강하는 2학년 간호대학생으로 총 93명이 모집되었으며 참여자는 병합교육군 46명, 마네킨군 47명으로 두 그룹으로 나누어 진행하였다. 자료수집기간은 2019년 3월 18일부터 3월 29일까지였다. 동일한 기간동안 실험군은 정맥주사용 가상학습 시뮬레이터와 마네킨 팔 모형을 이용한 병합교육을 각 기자재 별로 15분씩, 총 30분간 실시하였으며 대조군은 마네킨 팔 모형만을 이용한 교육을 총 30분간 실시하였다. 실험 중재 후, 실험군과 대조군의 지식점수는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았고(F=2.52, p=.116), 수행자신감(t=2.14, p=.035)과 간호수행능력(t=5.34, p<.001)은 병합교육을 받은 실험군이 마네킨 팔 모형만을 이용하여 교육을 받은 대조군보다 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해 본 연구에서는 정맥주사용 가상학습 시뮬레이터와 마네킨 팔 모형을 병합한 실습교육이 간호학생의 수행자신감과 간호수행능력을 향상시킨다는 실증적인 근거를 제시하였다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

응급구조사 교육 분야에서 의료 시뮬레이션의 활용 방안 모색 (An Exploration on the Use of Medical Simulation in Emergency Medical Technician Education)

  • 교육, 훈련, 연구에 사용된 의료 시뮬레이션 교육으로서 마네킹 시뮬레이터(mannequin simulator)의 개발은 오랜 시간에 걸쳐 이루어지고 있으며, 심폐소생술, 심장 수술, 마취 임상 수기, 위기관리(crisis management)에 대한 효율성 평가로 이어졌다. 최근 한국의 여러 의과대학에서 시뮬레이션 교육을 도입하여 임상 수기 교육을 하고 있으며, 시뮬레이션 센터를 설립하고 있다. 선진국의 응급의학분야에서 응급구조사의 역할이 매우 중요하게 대두되고 있으며, 한국에서 응급구조사의 효율적인 교육과 역할 수행을 위해 마네킹 시뮬레이터를 이용한 교육이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구는 이러한 의학 분야 시뮬레이션이 의과대학 교육뿐 아니라 구조구급 분야에 종사하는 소방공무원, 간호사, 응급구조사 양성 교육 등 의료의 여러 영역에서 다양하게 이용되는 의료시뮬레이션 진화와 교육에 대해 소개하고자 한다.

하이브리드모델 활용 시뮬레이션 교육이 간호학생의 간호수행능력과 자신감에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Simulation Training With Hybrid Model for Nursing Students on Nursing Performance Ability and Self Confidence)

  • Purpose: This study investigated the effectiveness of simulation training with a hybrid model of student nurses' performance ability and reported self confidence. Methods: A nonequivalent control group with pre-posttest was designed. Data collection was done during the first semester in 2012 at a college of nursing in Seoul. Nursing performance ability and reported self confidence related to taking care of patients with urinary problems were evaluated. The treatment group (n=96) received simulation training of a catheterization procedure with a hybrid model involving standardized patients and a mannequin. Nursing students in the comparison group (n=84) did not receive the simulation training but would receive it prior to their next clinical practicum's. Results: The treatment group showed a significantly higher performance ability and reported self confidence than that of the comparison group. The perceived helpfulness and contentment of the simulation training in experimental group was high. Conclusion: The findings of this study demonstrated that simulation with a hybrid model was effective in teaching skills prior to the clinical experience which suggests that skill development is not dependent on the actual clinical situation. Nurse educators should consider simulation training as a tool beyond that of clinical practicum.

간호교육에서의 환자시뮬레이션 교육 현황 (The Current Use of Human Patient Simulators in Nursing Schools in Korea)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to explore the current usage of high integration mannequin human patient simulators (hereafter HPS) in nursing education. Methods: Thirty-two faculty members in 11 nursing schools participated in this survey. the questionnaire consisted of some multiple-choice questions and open questions to collect data on the experience of faculty members with using HPS as well as quantitative information. Results: The faculty members who used HPS in their classes recognized the need to use simulation in nursing education. They identified the advantages of simulation education as promoting adaptation to the clinical environment(46.9%), promoting self-confidence(28.1%), promoting critical thinking(28.15), and making direct nursing skill practice available(28.1%). However, they considered the obstacles to the use of simulation in nursing education to be insufficient manpower(62.5%), insufficient time(40.6%), and difficulty in preparing a teaching strategy(34.4%). Conclusion: HPS is useful in nursing education, but systematic plans and policies regarding on its operation are needed to confirm its effectiveness. The results of this study generally provide a basic information for use of HPS in nursing education.

3D 디지털 기술을 활용한 패션 갤러리 제작에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application of 3D Digital Technology to Producing Cyber Fashion Gallery)

  • This study shows that digital technology is adapted practical method in fashion design process and virtual simulation and cyber fashion gallery based on virtual reality are researched. This study is proposed the 3D fashion design simulation in the virtual space used on 3D studio max, poser, photoshop program according to fashion design process. The main design concept is "temporary bridge" from rainbow. This study is supposed six fashion design in accordance with three sub-theme under main concept by changing color and texture used on 3D simulation. The results of this study are as follows: 1. This study produced Cyber Fashion Gallery in virtual space to the form of CD Rom title and web title by Macromedia Director 8.5, Macromedia Flash, Sound Forge. And it is enlarged the field of expression in aspect of Fashion Exhibition, beyond restriction of time and space. 2. Clothes modelling tools is able to easily adapt to various textiles and patterns in 3D dynamic virtual mannequin before making clothes. Digital technology is able to express image changed color and texture, especially new material, multi-finishing material and brilliant material and so on. So this study is able to develop tools for study of fashion coordination. 3. Cyber Fashion Gallery consists of gallery, story, painting, symbolism, example, image, quit. This study is enlarged the range of clothing expression by digital technology and open to possibility customized-manufacture.

  • A simplified modeling approach for occupied car seats was demonstrated to be feasible. The model, consisting of interconnected masses, springs and dampers, was initially broken down into subsystems and experiments conducted to determine approximate values for model parameters. A short study of the effect of changing model parameters on natural frequencies, mode shapes and resonance locations in frequency response functions was given, highlighting the influence of particular model parameters on features in the mannequin's vibration response. Good agreement between experimental and simulation frequency response estimates was obtained. Future work should include optimization of parameter estimates, the inclusion of viscoelastic and nonlinear elements in addition to the linear springs and dampers, and finally extensions to a 3D model.
