의문 상황 제시 방법에 따라 과학 학습에서 생성된 의문의 특성 분석 (Analysis of Characteristics of Question Generated in Learning Science by Presenting Method of Question Phenomena)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 의문 상황 제시 방법에 따라 생성된 의문을 유형, 수준, 객관도, 조작의 기준에 따라 비교하여, 다양한 의문을 생성하기 위한 적절한 의문 상황 제시 방법을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구를 위하여 초등학교 4학년 96명을 대상으로 하였으며, 평형설계로 반복제시의 효과가 연구 결과에 미치는 영향을 최소화하였다. 의문 상황 제시방법은 실물 동영상 사진자료로 선정하여, 각 의문 상황 제시 방법 별 3가지 의문 과제를 제시하였다. 그리고 제시된 의문 상황에 따라 학생 개개인이 20분간 개별적으로 의문을 생성하여 의문기록지에 작성하도록 하였다. 생성된 의문은 의문의 유형, 수준, 객관성, 조작에 따른 분석틀에 의해 분석하였다. 연구 결과로 추측적 의문, 예측적 의문, 방법적 의문, 탐색적 의문, 확인적 의문, 정성적 의문, 정량적 의문, 비조작적 의문, 조작 전 의문을 생성하는데 사진과 동영상으로 의문 상황을 제시한 경우, 실물로 제시한 것에 비해 빈도수가 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나왔다. 하지만 조작 후 의문을 생성하는데 실물로 의문 상황을 제시한 경우 사진과 동영상 제시 방법으로 제시하는 것에 비해 빈도수가 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나왔다. 인과적 의문, 적용적 의문, 주관적 의문은 의문 상황 제시 방법에 상관없이 의문이 생성되었다. 이를 통해 의문 상황 제시 방법이 학생들의 의문 특성에 영향을 주고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이것은 교사가 의문생성 교수 학습을 계획할 때 향상시키고자 하는 의문에 따라 의문 상황의 제시 형태를 고려해야 한다는 것을 말한다.

유치원 아동의 수학활동에 관한 분석연구 - 수학영역을 중심으로 - (Analysis of Kindergarteners' Behaviors In the Mathematics Corner)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate activities of kindergarteners in the mathematics corner. The study included an analysis of children's interactions with mathematics materials and of children's peer interactions during mathematics activities. The subjects were 47 children aged three to four and 72 children aged four to five from four classes of two kindergartens in Kwangju. Children's math activities during free play sessions were observed and audiotaped. The data were coded by the categories of children's peer interactions and types of mathematics manipulations. The characteristics of children's peer interactions and materials frequently selected by the subjects were identified. The results indicated that (1) most of the math materials were for passive manipulation that require children to respond according to predetermined conditions like the rules of games, but (2) the materials that children liked to play with were active manipulative materials that require diversity and flexibility of children's thinking and allow several choices for solutions, and (3) children's peer interactions during math activities were categorized into unilateral and reciprocal/collaborative peer interaction type.

유아의 상상놀이 (Imaginative Play)와 놀이감에 관한 연구 (A Study on Preschool Child's Imaginative Play and Play Materials)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine preschool children's participation tendency and use of play materials in imaginative play. The subjects for the study included 22 boys and girls in nursery school. These children were observed for 110-3-minutes of play behavior during free play at nursery school, especially in block area and housekeeping area. The results obtained from the study were as follows. 1. There was a significant association between paricipation tendency in imaginative play and age or sex, Boys engaged in more social imaginative play than girls, and four-year-olds engaged in more social imaginative play than three-year-olds. 2. There was sex difference in the content of imaginative play and use of play materials. That is, boys usually chose masculine kinds of toys such as block, cars, trucks, and manipulative materials. And the boys' common fantasies were about car, robert and fighting. Girls usually chose play dough, kitchen sets, and blocks and there were maines stories of family life and cooking. 3. Children preferred to use more realistic toys in imaginative plays and there were few cases of imaginative plays with no materials.

수학교육에서의 조작교구에 관한 연구 (A Study on Manipulative Materials in Mathematics Education)

  • It has been said that concrete materials are useful and necessary when children learn mathematics. But it has been proved by several researches teachers don’t often use them even if they agree that they are useful. This article focuses on the lack of systematic and applicable research on manipulatives. Therefore, it tries to identify the state of current research and to present the concrete domains which need more study in the future, in order to induce both qualitative and quantitative research. The following nine domains cover almost all the research on manipulatives so far affect of manipulatives on achievement. types of learners, mathematical topics, subjects of operation, variety of mainipulatives, instructional method, degree of involvement of mainpulatives in class, selection criteria, and place for use.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the articulation between the kindergarten and 1st grade in mathematics education. for this purpose, the problems of this study selected as follows :(ⅰ) What is the mathematical concepts related between the kindergarten curriculum and the 1st grade curriculum\ulcorner (ⅱ) How is the mathematics classroom in the kindergarten and 1st grade\ulcorner (ⅲ) Which instructional materials are used in the kindergarten and the 1st grade\ulcorner (ⅳ) What is the new direction of articulation between the kindergarten and first grade in mathematics education\ulcorner The results of this study are as follows : (ⅰ) According to examining each curriculum the focus is on understanding the basic concepts of number in the kindergarten, on the concepts of number, addition and subtraction in the 1st grade. (ⅱ) By being analyzed the mathematics classrooms of the kindergarten and the 1 st grade, it is different the focus of lessons or the teaching strategies. (ⅲ) As a result of analysing the teaching plans in the kindergarten and the survey in the first grade teachers, used instructional materials are manipulative ones. While mainly used materials are puzzles and blocks in kindergarten, a paduk stone, number cards, sankagi are used in 1st grade. (ⅳ) Finally, we propose the direction of articulation between the kindergarten and 1st grade in mathematics education.

초등수학수업에서 활동중심 교수.학습자료 활용에 대한 조사연구 (A Study of Instructional Materials for Activity-Centered Teaching in Elementary Mathematics)

  • 제7차 교육과정에서 수학교육은 다양한 개인의 능력을 고려하여 학습내용의 적정화, 학습자중심의 활동중심수업 증가, 단계형 수준별 교육을 지향하고 있다. 그러나 실제 초등학교의 많은 교사들이 수학 학습지도에서 겪고 있는 어려움 중의 하나가 상당수의 학생들이 교과서의 내용을 최소한 몇 개월 정도 미리 배워오기 때문에 학교수업은 수준이 낮아 흥미가 없다고 냉소하고, 그렇지 못한 학생들은 학교수업이 너무 부담이 되어 흥미를 잃고 있어 현실적인 대안이 시급하다는 것이다. 이러한 초등수학교실의 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방안의 하나로 적절한 교수·학습자료 활용의 수업을 들 수 있다. 이는 아동들에게는 보다 흥미 있는 수업을, 교사들에게는 보다 효과적으로 학습목표에 도달할 수 있게 할 수 있다. 이를 구체적으로 실천하기 위해 초등학교 교과서에서 비중이나 학습난이도가 높은 단원을 찾아 효과적인 교수· 학습자료의 활용방안과 앞으로 자료개발에 도움을 주고자 하였다.

수학교실에서 기하판의 활용 의의와 활용 사례 분석 (Significance and Analyzing Episode on Using Geoboards in Mathematics Classroom)

  • Since the greater part of mathematical concepts have been developed in the direction of “from the concrete and realistic aspects to the abstract level”, children should be secured to learn mathematics genetically with various manipulative materials. The aim of this study is to instigate the active use of geoboards in mathematics classroom. To achieve this arm, we first embodied the several significances on the use of geoboards in mathematics instruction. And we then performed an instruction that children discover and justify the formula related to the area of trapezoid by exploring with geoboards, and analyzed the instructional episode to support our assertion about some secure merit accompanied by using geoboards. From this study, we obtained the conclusion that geoboard activity contains many significances such as children can explore congruence, symmetry, similarity, fundamental properties of figures, and pattern. Futhermore, geoboard activity enable children to transform a figure into other equivalently, develop spatial sense, have basic experiences for coordinate geometry, build a concrete model to explain abstract ideas, and foster the ability of problem solving and mathematical thinking.

두 회전 롤러 사이의 유체 Splitting Point에 관한 연구 (The Splitting Point of Liquid Film between two Rotating Rollers)

  • The liquid film behavior between two rotating rollers has been analyzed for many years. Their contributions were, however, limited almost within the areas of polymer laminar flow in there. When the slip contact of two rotating rollers is used as a role of vehicle to distribute the liquid discharged on to each roller after splitting from the nip, there was few available relationship to control the roller speed and to design system. On this work it was possible to get out a certain relationship between the discharged film thickness ratio and the roller surface seeds without any help of pressure limit at the splitting point. The hydrodynamic analyzation of Newtonian liquid behavior around the point was well proved on some manipulative experiment. The thickness ratio increases along with the roll surface speed ratio increases. And the discharged volume flow rate ratio on each roller surface varies with square of the speed ratio. Both of these relationship have a decision factor also made up by the speed ratio.

만성폐쇄성폐질환의 보완대체의학 임상연구 동향 (Research Trends for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease in Complementary and Alternative Medicine)

  • Objectives : This study analyzed the contents of research papers of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) concerning chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) published in PubMed during the last 5 years. This study was conducted to help clinical studies for treating COPD with Oriental medicine. Materials and Methods : We inspected 31 theses and scrutinized their objectives, periods, participants, materials and methods, methods of assessment, results and Jadad score. Results : The treatments in the studies were supplements, physical training, acupuncture, acu-TENS, Bojungikgi-tang (Buzhongyiqi-tang), counseling, breathing training, osteopathic manipulative treatment, reflexology, and distractive auditory stimuli. The aims of treatment were improvement of exercise capacity, lung function, quality of life, oxidative status, nutrient status, systemic inflammation, and cessation of smoking. The median for treatment period of study was 8 weeks, the median number of participants was 35 and the differences between mean $FEV_1$ from groups were less than 10% in 22 studies. The methods of assessment were lung function test, exercise capacity test, muscle strength test, questionnaire of QoL, laboratory studies, and measurement of nutrient state. The mean of Jadad score was $2.4\;{\pm}\;1.03$, and 24 treatment were assessed as effective. Conclusion : Recent CAM studies of COPD have focused on various topics in alternative and complementary medicine, and it is necessary to provide objective studies for treatment of this disease with Oriental medicines.

통합형 수리논술 지도 사례 - 구체물과 공학적 도구를 활용한 원뿔곡선 수업 - (A Case Study of Teaching Mathematics for Integrated Essay Education: Instruction of Conic Section using Concrete Materials and Technology)

  • 대학 입학 전형에서 통합 논술이 시행되면서 학교 교사나 학생들은 통합 논술의 중요성을 인식하고 필요하다고 생각하지만 실제 교사들은 지도 방법의 어려움을 갖고 있다. 본 연구는 예비수학교사를 대상으로 통합 논술 지도를 위한 수업의 사례를 통해 교육적 시사점을 도출해보고자 한다. 수업은 내용 지식으로서 수학에서의 원뿔곡선의 정의와 안테나 반사판의 설계에 적용된 원뿔곡선의 반사 성질을 주제로 하고, 수학사, 구체물, 종이접기, 컴퓨터 등을 이용하여 학생들이 원뿔곡선의 정의와 성질을 발견하게 하였다. 이러한 교수 학습 과정에서 학생들은 수학사를 통해 수학적 지식이 인간에 의해서 발명되었음을 이해할 수 있고, 정의나 명제를 만들고 정당화 해봄으로써 수학적 명제의 타당성을 평가할 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 발견한 성질들 사이의 관계를 논리적으로 기술할 수 있으며, 정당화 과정에서 이유나 근거를 설득력 있게 기술할 수 있다. 통합 논술을 지도함에 있어서 내용에 따라 다양한 접근의 수업 자료와 지도 방법에 대한 연구가 계속되어야 할 것이다.
