ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29/WG10 JPEG(Joint Photographic Expert Group)에서는 5년여의 활동 결과로서 지난해 Grey/Color 정지화 코딩 방식에 대한 규격 (DIS 10918) 을 완성하였다. 이 규격에 포함된 코딩 방식중에서 Baseline DCT 코딩 방식은 Mandatory 코딩 방식으로서 규격을 따르는 모든 인코더/디코더가 갖추고 있어야 할 기능이다. 본 고에서는 Baseline DCT 코딩 방식을 개인용 컴퓨터에서 범용 DSP를 이용하여 구현할 수 있는 코덱 시스팀을 제시하고, 그에 따른 성능을 분석하였다.

The study focuses on the problems of store space supply in apartment sites and suggests policy directions for the problem. Based on the results of field survey and site reconnaissance, this study identifies following problems and policy directions. First, the stores do not meet consumers various demand due to item limitations with small size. Consequently, there are many closed and/or unsold stores with high vacancy rates, Second, there is a tendency that the closed store rate becomes higher as apartment size becomes smaller. We suggest some law and regulation amendment that make store supply optional rather than mandatory in the case of small apartment site construction.

The objective of this article is to provide the approach of improving trade system for activating the generation using renewable energy. The power trade system of our country is mandatory market, in which power generators fundamentally are to play. In this paper, several suggestions for power trading system of renewable energy will be showed.

This study examines the effect of a one-on-one outsourced pre-lending consulting service on the repayment behavior of microcredit borrowers in Korea with administrative data from the Smile Microcredit Bank. A random change in the cut-off loan amount for mandatory consulting is utilized as an identification strategy. This three-day pre-lending business consulting service is effective in encouraging repayment behavior of existing businesses but it has no significant effect on start-up loans. The effectiveness of the consulting service in deterring delinquency with regard to existing loans is greater among male borrowers than among females.

As an Embedded system get more complicated, the importance of the software test increases. The development of lightweight car bodies is the most prominent issue in the automotive industry today, in preparation of environmental regulations such as reduction of CO$_2$ emissions. Also, with the recent implementation of mandatory off-set collision test, many studies have been carried out to enhance the safety of automobiles. Recently, TRIP(Transformation Induced Plasticity) steel has developed as a prominent alternative due to its high strength and superior elongation. In this study, TRIP steel weldability is evaluated with lobe curve, continuous spot welds, shunt effect, and weld of edge position.

This paper which took effect in September 2011 to comply with the Privacy Act were studied in terms of the provisions for penalties. Article 70 to 75 of Privacy Act in was considered with mandatory provisions of items, and for the compliance required actions was developed and item indexing according to collection, use, offer, charge, destroying of life cycle of personal information.

The primary purpose of security mechanisms in a computer systems is to control the access to information. There are two types of access control mechanisms to be used typically. One is discretionary access control(DAC) and another is mandatory access control(MAC). In this study an access control mechanism is introduced for secure access path in security system. The security policy of this access control is that no disclosure of information and no unauthorized modification of information. To make this access control correspond to security policy, we introduce three properties; read, write and create.

최근 한국과 캐나다의 통신협상 추진과 통신시장 개방 등의 통신환경 변화는 우리나라의 통신정책 및 운용체계의 필연적인 구조개편을 요구하고 있다. 특히 통신단말기기는 각 나라마다 고유의 규격과 사용환경을 적용함으로써 국가간 통신협상 추진시 주요쟁점으로 다루어지고 있다. 본 고에서는 공중통신망용 단말장치의 제반 규격 및 조건을 다루는 기술기준 규칙에 대한 개선방안을 제시하였다. 개선안에서 채택하고 있는 규격들은 국제표준 규격 및 북미의 기술기준을 모델로 함으로써 미래 글로벌 통신시대를 대비하였다.
