IT 프로젝트 관리자의 리더십 유형별 역량이 프로젝트 성과에 미치는 영향

  • This study has examined the project managers' competency and suggests three competency factors, which are technical, human, and conceptual skills, for the success of IT projects. The study suggests that IT project managers should master three critical skills and knowledge requirements, and consider the proper leadership style for the successful implementation of IT projects. Especially this study has examined the effect of the fit between project managers' competency and leadership style on the performance of IT projects.

  • Recently, It is a fact that the percentage of female field managers has increased in the construction industry. Therefore, this study investigated the percentage of female construction site managers by conducting a survey of current male and female construction site managers and then analyzed the workload, work difficulty, work importance and performance level of female employees in charge of public affairs, which is the most common tasks.

  • This study was to present basic data in order to improve the management of the apartment house through investigating the work of managers and the association of occupant of a house. The Purpose of this study is to suggest a judgement of management-work and quality of manager in apartment housing board. Data were collected by the interview and survey from 131 managers in apartment houses. Major results were as follows: 1) the works of management were inquired by manager in occupant-management, administration-work, maintenance-work, and life-environmental work. 2) the works of management were compared with types of managers.

  • 본 연구는 조직에서 구성원들에게 제공하는 경영 이념 교육과 관리자의 조직의 이념 교육에 대한 신념이 직무 만족에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 수행되었다. 분석 결과 조직의 이념에 대한 관리자의 성향은 직무 갈등에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 관리자의 성향은 직무 만족에도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 이념 교육과 직무 갈등은 직무만족에 아무런 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

정보시스템 프로젝트의 성과영역별 위험요인에 관한 탐색적 연구 (Exploratory Study on Risk Factors by Project Performance Areas in Software Project Management)

  • Identifying validated risk factors in software risk management is imperative for project managers. Although validated risk lists were provided by previous researchers, risk list associated with software project performance areas was not provided as yet. This paper represents a first step toward understanding risk lists by various project performance areas (time, cost, and quality) to help project managers alleviating the possibility of software project failure. Four simultaneous exploratory surveys were conducted with 29 experienced software project managers. Three different risk factor ranking sets for each project performance area were compared with, the risk ranking, which was provided without clarifying specific project performance areas. The risk lists and their corresponding perceived importance were different from previous research results. This implies that identifying risk factors for specific project performance areas can provide additional information for project managers. We concluded by discussing implications of our finds for both research and improving risk management practice.

주부의 인지적 자원관리 유형에 관한 연구 (The cognitive resource management style of housewives)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify the cognitive management style of housewives, to explore the effect of demographic variables on the style, and to investigate satisfaction of resources such as money, time and energy, according to different styles. For this purpose, the samples of 355 housewives were collected in Seoul. And various analysis methods, such as frequencies, percentages, means, chi-square test and GLM, were employed. The results of this study were as follows ; 1) Among 355 respondents, systematic managers, analyzing managers, holistic managers and feeling managers were 103, 96, 82 and 74 respectively. 2) Depending on information gathering and evaluation, the style was influenced by wives' education, wives' employment status, and family life cycle. 3) By style, satisfaction of resource was differenciated significantly. Between money, time and energy resources, especially, satisfaction of energy resource had significant differences.

  • Top Managers are apt to do the decision making on the base of cost-benefit analysis. Therefore the return on quality is indispensable to get the commitment of the top managers on the quality programs. The monetary or tangible effects of the most improvement activities through the suggestion systems and the quality circle activities are computed and reported. In most cases the reported gains are much bigger than the input invested. In spite of the reported high return many top managers are doubtful about the truth of reports because the gains are not translated into the profit on the income statement. This paper discusses about the mechanism of individual improvement activities and analyze the system effect which sum the individual effect and the realization effect on the income statement during that period. This will help the top managers to commit on the quality programs with high confidence.

건강관리사 계속교육이 사례관리자의 지식, 태도, 기술에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Continuing Education for Healthcare Manager on Knowledge, Attitude, and Skills)

  • Purpose: This study was to examine the effects of 3 domains of continuing education (CE) for healthcare managers. Methods: A group of 20 healthcare managers, attending 3 levels of CE, were the subjects. The data were collected by structured questionnaires before and after each education. The data were analyzed by Friedman test, Wilcoxon Signed Ranked Test, and Bonferroni correction. Results: After completing CE, there was significant improvement on the scores of knowledge, attitude, and skills. Conclusion: This study suggests that CE for healthcare managers is an effective strategy to promote the competency of healthcare managers, who take care of the chronically ill patients.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the consciousness of residents and managers in multi-family housing management. Research methods used in this study were survey, field study. The parts of evaluation tool are composed of maintenance, operating management, residential life management. The evaluation tool of questionnaire got contents through documents research. This study indicates; first, residents' evaluation about the degree of satisfaction was totally lower than its importance. Specially, perception on residential life management was lowest. Second, it seems that managers assume indifferent attitude toward management works. It was caused by low pay, inferior work environment, and residents' exceeding interferences. In future, such efforts as residents participation, improvements of managerial work environment are required for the housing management efficiency.
