IFCXML BASED AUTOMATIC DATA INPUT APPROACH FOR BUILDING ENERGY PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS

  • To analyze building energy consumption, the building description for building energy performance analysis (BEPA) is required. The required data input for subject building is a basic step in the BEPA process. Since building information modeling (BIM) is applied in the construction industry, the required data for BEPA can be gathered from a single international standard file format like IFCXML. However, in most BEPA processes, since the required data cannot be fully used from the IFCXML file, a building description for BEPA must be created again. This paper proposes IFCXML-based automatic data input approach for BEA. After the required data for BEPA has been defined, automatic data input for BEPA is developed by a prototype system. To evaluate the proposed system, a common BIM file from the BuildingSMART website is applied as a sample model. This system can increase the efficiency and reliability of the BEPA process, since the data input is automatically and efficiently improved by directly using the IFCXML file.

  • In Korea, Green building certification system had been operated for more than 10 years and Expired certification buildings are ever-increasing. However, post management of building and qualification standard for re-certification(G-SEED) aren't exist, certificated green building don't have smoothly maintenance and management. Therefore, analysing the status and situation of similar system such as building maintenance and management, to suggest the direction of evaluation for green standard for energy and environmental design.

  • We aim to use public data different from the remote BEMS energy diagnostics technology and already established and then switch the conventional operation environment to a big-data-based integrated management environment to operate and build a building energy management environment of maximized efficiency. In Step 1, various network management environments of the system integrated with a big data platform and the BEMS management system are used to collect logs created in various types of data by means of the big data platform. In Step 2, the collected data are stored in the HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) to manage the data in real time about internal and external changes on the basis of integration analysis, for example, relations and interrelation for automatic efficient management.

  • As time passes, the aging of the plant building, the building's energy performance degradation than the initial plan does not express a situation could arise. This year, the certification of buildings certified in 2009 has expired for measures such as the situation required. In this study, management of national and international green building certification and re-certification was compared in two ways. First, the evaluation of green building certification system management assessments were compared. Second, the green building certification system for the re-certification analysis. As a result, G-SEED was not reflected life-cycle of building in management assessment and the commissioning of G-SEED is the UK and the U.S and other concepts of evaluation. In addition, the re-certification system is insufficient about substantial energy consumption of buildings. In this study, the revised the management assessments in conjunction with the re-certification system to manage the building is proposed to improve. In addition, the current evaluation of the existing building certification "existing building" and "building the first certified" as it is more efficient to separate the information into assessment was judged. Green building certification system to meet the purpose of management and operation, and disposal phases of the building to promote energy conservation and sustainability in order to the management a systematic and detailed evaluation and re-certification system developed for the revision of the specific items required and future research want to continue.

At this point be tormented the energy depletion and climate change of earth are big problems on the eatrh. In this paper we will find out best methods to reduction greenhouse gas and energy consumption by practical building mechanical system. Enlargement of greenhome and building adopt, greenhouse gas exhaust reduction in building, publication of energy consumption rate, publish building energy management manual, etc.

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis of counter strategy of greenhouse gas·energy target management system for the construction firm. For this purpose, the greenhouse gas·energy target management system of other industries was investigated. The selection possibility that is construction firm to be managed company was analyzed. In addition, status of counter strategy on the greenhouse gas·energy target management system were investigated and analyzed about 5 domestic major construction firm via questionnaire and interview. As a result, the counter strategy by organization and annual for the greenhouse gas·energy target management system was drawn.

  • Energy consumption savings in buildings should be reviewed in diverse areas such as air conditioning system and lighting responsible for cooling and heating, and energy management systems such as BAS (Building Automation System) and BEMS (Building Energy Management System) are introduced to improve energy consumption efficiency and to promote economic control of related facilities by integrated management of energy generated and consumption in buildings. The measured building of this study uses regenerative geothermal system. Measured values of heat pump and system COP were 4.7 and 4.2 respectively, and they were found to be higher 11.9% and 23.5% than rated values. As a result of analyzing the air conditioning and lighting energy from the first floor to the fourth floor performing the air conditioning, the second and third floors, which have a high frequency of use, are compared with the first and fourth floors 50% higher energy consumption ratio. On the other hand, the general heat storage system uses the nighttime power of the previous day to store heat and use it the next day. The total number of days of abnormal operation during the summer season is 61 days. The electricity cost corresponding to the abnormal operation is 1,840,641 KRW, and the normal operation using the nighttime power is 1,363,561 KRW, which is difference of 477,080 KRW, 35% increase in cost. We will utilize it as the main data of BEMS through analysis of winter operation characteristics as well as summer operation characteristics.

  • Our country is aiming at 30% reductions in building energy consumption accounting for 39% of the total energy consumption by 2020[1]. For this purpose, the government is developing and applying the Building Energy Management System (hereinafter, referred to as "BEMS", Smart plug, etc.) while the researches on new renewable energy development. BEMS, which is applied with focus on large buildings, is inducing energy management of the entire building through energy measurement and data management, but considering its economic efficiency, it's very difficult to apply BEMS to small & medium-size buildings. Hereupon, this study intends to implement the case analysis of deterioration and economic efficiency of major equipment in buildings on the basis of electricity consumption which has been measured targeting small & medium-size buildings for a certain period by taking into account that equipment deterioration is a contributor to the increase in energy consumption.

  • Now, in Korea, the performances of the building service equipment relay on the individual superintendent's share for the assessment of performance, fault detection, deterioration diagnosis of the building service equipment. As the result, very different quality of the performance or the durability of equipment is being obtained with his skill and effort and it is also not easy to assess that quality. This finally lead to the waste of labor force and the operating cost due to the high-cost, low-efficiency system. How to construct the N-BMS was considered to save energy, resource and to conserve performance of building service equipment. The FEMIS, facility, energy/environmental management & information system, for building service offer management process integrated with BAS, FMS and EMS and so on.

  • 정부는 2009년부터 녹색뉴딜사업의 일환으로 국토 에너지 수자원 건물 등의 각종 기본정보를 체계적으로 일원화시키고 통합 DB를 구축하는 녹색국가 정보인프라 사업을 추진 중에 있다. 이와 관련하여 건물부문의 에너지 절약과 온실가스 저감 대책 마련에 효율적으로 대응하기 위한 수단으로, 건물단위의 에너지 소비량 관리를 기본 골자로 하는 건물에너지 통합관리시스템 구축을 진행 중에 있다. 본 시스템의 활용성을 증대시키기 위해서는 기존의 에너지 정책 및 제도와의 관계를 명확히 하고 상호보완적인 요소를 도출하는 것이 요구되며 이는 통합관리시스템의 구축방향성과도 밀접한 관계를 가진다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 장기적 측면에서 국가 건물에너지 통합관리시스템의 효과적인 활용방안을 도모하기 위하여 현재 진행중인 관련 정책 ,제도 및 통계자료 등과의 연계성을 도출하고, 통합관리시스템의 구축방안 및 방향성을 도모하고자 한다. 구체적으로는 온실가스 관련 정책, 녹색 건축물 보급 확대 방안 및 통계자료 등의 사례를 분석하고 통합관리시스템을 통한 해당 정책 및 제도의 개선점을 개선, 보완할 수 있는 방안을 제시함으로서 통합관리시스템의 구축과 운영방안 수립의 당위성을 재고시키며 향후 녹색뉴딜 사업의 육성을 도모하고자 한다.
