Chronic diseases as well as a growing population of older adults are currently the leading cause of ill health and economic burden worldwide. Managing those diseases in one-on-one medical consultations poses substantial challenges due to limited time and resources in the current health care system. Various approaches have been taken to manage these conditions, most with limited success. Shared medical appointments (SMAs) are an innovative care delivery option to make the testing of alternative care modalities a prime concern. SMAs are individual medical consultations carried out in a group of patients with similar diseases by providing education, medication management, and disease monitoring. SMAs, since their initial conceptualization in 1998, have gained much popularity and adopted as one of the standard processes in many countries. Accumulated evidence-based studies show outcomes for increasing access to care, behavioral change facilitated through self-management education, maintained/better outcomes, physician productivity, and enhanced resource management. This review summarizes current evidence regarding the existing status of SMAs abroad. An extensive literature search was conducted on major electronic databases including PubMed and Google Scholar. This study suggests to explore and exploit the SMAs which have unique potential as a healthcare delivery innovation in Korea.

오늘날 기업 경영 환경은 글로벌 환경과 정보기술의 발전 등으로 갈수록 빠른 속도로 복잡하게 변하고 있으며, 수많은 기업들은 급변하는 경영환경에 대응한 경쟁력 확보를 위하여 끊임없는 노력과 변화, 혁신을 추구하고 있다. 이러한 부문별 자동화와 함께 기업 경영의 전체적 최적화를 이루려는 취지에서 등장한 것이 전사적 자원관리(ERP: Enterprise Resource Planning)이다. 특히, ERP 시스템에서 관리회계는 보다 효율적인 내부관리를 위한 부가적인 기능들로 구성되어 있어 많은 시스템을 적극적으로 활용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Oracle ERP관리회계 분야의 표준원가를 살펴보고 표준원가에서 발생하는 실제원가와의 변량차이 분석을 시도하였다. 이를 통하여 실제 발생된 재료비와 간접재료비에 가까운 원가요소를 얻는 방법을 구현하여 Oracle ERP 시스템의 원가운영에 적용하였다.

Technological innovations over the years have accentuated the workings in corporate- connected organizations and different application platforms. Hence, a unified management information system (MIS) that can utilize the Web and propel programming developments is required. Software agents, the latest developments in computer software technology, can be utilized to rapidly and effortlessly build integrated information systems. Consequently, 59 research papers on the use of software agents in MIS were identified from top 40 MIS journals published between 2007 and 2017. Then, we reviewed and classified all the research papers according to two categories: application fields and application categories. The application fields consisted of eight sub-groups: manufacturing, telecommunication systems, traffic and transportation management, information filtering and gathering, electronic commerce, business process management, entertainment, and medical care; whereas the application categories consisted of three sub-groups: multi-agent systems, personal assistants, and multi-agent simulation. The research papers were further divided into journal and year of publication, and journal and application field. The objective of our research was to understand the trend of the use software agent technology in MIS by examining the published research paper beside to add knowledge and content to the information system academic discipline.

With the radical changes and advancements of industrial economy, it is required to secure product competitiveness through technological innovations to overcome uncertain environments and generate a driving force for sustainable growth. So the Korea government introduced the superior product selection system in 1996 and has granted such incentives as priority purchasing and contracts the products of SME whose technological capabilities have passed the screening criteria. After analyzing the ambiguity of the evaluation procurement used in designation of excellent product, this study proposed seven detailed indexes for evaluation.

New information technologies have often been treated as innovations for target users. Although users in recent times have had significantly more opportunities to be socialized with information technologies, the rapid pace of technology development usually means that every new technology represents a fairly major change over the previous one. Although a fairly significant body of research that empirically tests these alternative models and theories is now in existence, some questions with regard to the role of perceptions in innovation adoption remain unanswered. This paper reports the results of a field study examining adoption of an information technology innovation represented by an internet application. Moreover, the study examines the effects of an important moderating influence-personal innovativeness-on this adoption process. Finally, the study seeks to shed further light on the determinants of perceptions by examining the relative efficacy of mass media and interpersonal channels in facilitating perception development.

The purpose of this study is to enhance an understanding of employee's OCB(organizational citizenship behavior) in manufacturing innovations like a TPM(total productive maintenance). OCB is examined as a dependent variable in three dimensions; compliance behavior, altruistic behavior, and innovative behavior. The six determinants of OCB are considered based on previous literature : organizational culture, team climate, transactional leadership, transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. And the moderating effect of TPM on the relationships between OCB and determinants are examined. Data is collected through questionnaires and interviews from 684 employees in the Korean medium-sized manufacturing company that are conducting TPM. The result indicates that the important influencing factors of OCB are team climate, organizational culture, and job satisfaction. And the moderating effect of TPM on the relationships between OCB and job satisfaction is founded.

This paper explores the features, patterns and strategies of innovation in knowledge intensive service (KIS) suppliers in Korea. It was found that characteristics of service innovation and manufacturing innovation tend to converge. Also, diverging elements were found particularly in organizational dimension in the innovation of the service sector. Investigation into the case of information and communication technology (ICT) services revealed that KIS suppliers are active in innovation. They obtained ideas required for their innovations from their knowledge activities inside firms and in the process of interaction with user firms. Large KIS suppliers are to a great extent interested in R&D for innovation, while small and medium suppliers are interested in developmental work. Weak knowledge flow was found between KIS suppliers and the public sector like universities and public research institutes.

While technological development being rapid, competition among companies have been very intensive over the world. To hold their competitive power or make sustainable development, it is very imperative for them to attempt innovation. But almost of all innovations were followed by people's resistance to change, and many innovation appeared to be not successful. The objective of this paper is to review the topic of resistance to change in the related literature, and look at the relationship between innovation resistance and many variables like CEO's personality, employee's personality, organizational culture, and defensive behavior.

There are many policies around the world regarding Information Communication Technology (ICT). In 2012, the World Health Organization emphasized the strategic and integrated policy for the development and dissemination of ICT-based healthcare innovations at the national level. As technologies related to ICT are introduced in various countries around the world, each country announces policies and strategies to preoccupy these new industries. However, Korea is tied to various regulations in investment of ICT and thus lags behind other countries. Therefore, in this section, we review the present status and problems of ICT development in Korea and compare these with other major countries. Finally, we present the ICT development strategies and tasks in Korea.

With increased interest in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, there is also a growing interest in the innovation of college education. In this regard, this study aims to develop a learning model for building construction to nurture architectural engineers needed in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. To this end, it analyzed the previous studies on the recent innovations in engineering education. Among the educational innovation methods presented in the previous research, a new learning model was derived by using the most suitable method for the building construction eduction. The derived learning model is a building construction learning model applying team-based learning and flipped learning. The learning model proposed in this study was developed as a learning method to nurture engineers needed in the future. Therefore, it is expected that this model can be utilized in the eduction of architectural engineering at universities in Korea.
