초등학교 환경교육 운영에 대한 연구 -초등학교 실행 사례를 중심으로- (A Study on the Management of Environmental Education in Elementary School -A Case Study of Elementary Schools-)

  • The purpose of this study is to make clear the management of Environmental Education in Elementary school in Korea. To accomplish this purpose, The research for the actual condition of management of Environmental Education according to school, grade, and class was progressed. The researcher was analyzed Hindrance Factors of Sound Environmental Education in School and presented some suggestion on the basis of above-mentioned findings. On one side, the method of research is a case study on qualitative based way. A case study was conducted with it's focus on public elementary school in Seoul. As for major research methods, observation by participating in school field and in-depth interview were respectively employed; subsidiary methods included literature study. The findings of this study are as belows: First, Environmental Education was not managed practically with specific way in school. Second, Environmental Education by direct and actual outdoor experience was unusual. Third, most of class school work about Environmental Education was focused on not only the type of prescription after the environmental problem but also, the treatment of articles in newspaper and TV. Forth, educational compulsion such as “you have to do that.” was mainly used as Environmental guidance for sound attitude in school without clear reasons. In the last analysis, hindrance factors of sound management for environmental education in elementary schools were ‘passive adjustment’, ‘discriminative reception’, ‘absence of information resource’. these factors came from atmosphere of negligence environmental education in schools. Therefore, all of teachers have to affirmative belief and attitude as personal dimension and all of elementary schools improve environmental education system.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyzes the Job of Dental Hygienists in Dental (Clinics) Hospitals the Capital region. This study analyzes the degree of job importance and education-training need about and task, task according to work place and work age. The results are as follows : (1) Job importance of dental hygienists were order 'photographing in Dental Radiology', 'Management of Dental clinic', 'Oral prophylaxis', in case education-training need was order 'dental health insurance', 'Oral prophylaxis', 'Management of Dental clinic'. duty more than 5.0 of job importance and education-training need was as 'dental health education', 'Oral prophylaxis', 'preventive dental treatment', 'dental assistance (cooperation)', 'photographing in Dental Radiology', 'dental health insurance', 'Management of Dental clinic', Duty of practice centering in Dental (Clinics) Hospitals except 'Public oral health'. (2) Job importance and education-training need of task increased most of job importance in proportion to education-training need. (3) No significantly between dental hospital hygienist and dental clinic hygienist difference of job importance and education-training need according to work place. but 'Management of Dental clinic' and 'dental health insurance' of dental hospital hygienist lower than dental clinic hygienist. (4) The results job importance compare less 3 years to more 3 years of dental hygienists were perceive significantly 'dental health education', 'Public oral health', 'dental health insurance', 'Management of Dental clinic' the other hand, education-training need was perceive significantly 'preventive dental treatment'.

소상공인의 개인성향 및 시장 환경특성과 경영성과 간에 경영교육 만족도가 미치는 조절효과 검증 (Testing for Moderating Effects of Management Education between Small Business Owner's Individual Personality, Market Environment Characteristics and Management Performance)

  • 본 연구는 소상공인의 경영성과에 미치는 요인에 대한 연구는 진행되어 왔으나 소상공인을 대상으로 한 경영교육이 개인성향 및 시장 환경특성과 경영성과 간의 영향관계에 미치는 조절 역할에 대한 분석 연구는 미비한 현실로 본 연구를 통한 검증제시가 필요하다고 판단하였다. 이를 위해 서울,경기도 등의 소상공인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 최종 368부를 수집하였으며, 위계적 회귀분석방법을 사용하여 분석을 수행하였다. 실증분석 결과, 경영교육만족은 경영성과에 각각 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 2단계에서 평균중심화한 성취욕구와 경영교육만족도간의 상호작용을 추가로 투입한 결과 성취욕구와 경영교육만족은 경영성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 상호작용항 역시 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 시장환경특성 중 시장매력도와 경영교육만족도는 모두 경영성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 2단계에서 평균중심화한 시장매력도와 경영교육만족도간의 상호작용을 추가로 투입한 결과 경영성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 상호작용항 역시 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구를 통해 소상공인의 경영성과는 경영교육만족도의 조절효과를 통하여 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인으로 확인되었고 치열한 경쟁환경 속에서 그 경쟁력을 확보하는데 그 중요성이 매우 크다고 할 수 있다.

직장 여성을 위한 인상관리 교육프로그램 설계 (Development of Impression Management Education Program for Career Women)

  • 본 연구는 선행연구(Hwang & Lee, 2019)에서 제시한 '사회적 매력'을 직장 여성의 인상관리 교육의 목표로 보고, Hwang과 Lee의 연구 결과를 근거로 Kwon(1997)의 교육체제 설계 및 개발 모형(Educational System Design & Development, ESD)을 적용하여 직장 여성을 위한 인상관리 교육프로그램을 체계적으로 설계하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 종전의 인상관리 교육프로그램은 대체로 내용 전문가들에 의해 개발되었기 때문에 학습 대상자를 고려하고 교육의 목표를 명확하게 설정하고 그에 따라 내용을 구조화하여 개발한 체계적인 인상관리 프로그램을 찾아보기 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 Hwang과 Lee(2019)에서 도출된 네 가지 사회적 매력 구성요소들을 제고하기 위한 인상관리행동을 중심으로 교육프로그램을 구성하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 특히 ESD 모형의 설계 단계에 초점을 두고, 교수목표를 설정하고, 교수분석, 하위기능별 교육목표 설정, 시간배정, 평가계획 수립의 과정을 수행하였다. 본 연구에서 설계한 교육프로그램은 직장 여성들의 인상관리 니즈와 목표에 맞도록 구성된 학습자 중심의 교육프로그램이라는 교육적 장점이 있다. 또한, ESD 모형에 근거하여 인상관리에 필요한 하위 요인을 균일하게 배치하고, 교육과정 자체를 교수자와 학습자의 상호소통을 통해 성찰하게 구성하였다. 따라서 이 프로그램은 직장 여성에게 필요한 인상관리 교육의 기본 요건을 갖추었으며, 직장 여성의 사회적 매력 제고에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

맞춤형 방문건강관리사업 활성화를 위한 직무교육 만족도 (A Study of Job Educational Satisfaction for Activating of Tailor Made Visiting Home Health Care)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to establish basic data for developing education program of tailor made visiting home health care. Method: For this study, the subject was recruited in one directorial area among 14 nation-wide areas. The data collection was done using self-report questionnaire developed by Korea Health Industry Development Institute. Ninety one questionnaires were analyzed and response rare was 88.3%. Result: The major results were as follows. Aspect of education operations, the satisfaction of education space was revealed high. However, the satisfaction of education time, hour, and schedule were low. The overall satisfaction of education contents were revealed high. The most useful curriculums were found Chronic disease management, Infant & toddler health management, and Case management of tailor made visiting home health care. However the most unuseful curriculums were Nutritional management according to subject's health problem, Health promotion for poor family, and Understanding of visiting service in community health center. Conclusion: With these results, it was identified that the most needed contents of tailor made visiting home health care education program. So these results will be used to develop the more effective education program to activate tailor made visiting home health care service in community health center.

서울지역 중.고등학교 조리종사자의 위생관리 수행 및 위생교육 평가 (Evaluation of Foodservice Employees' Sanitary Performance and Sanitary Education in Middle and High Schools in Seoul)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the sanitary performance and education of middle and high school foodservice employees in Seoul, South Korea in order to ensure the foodservice safety and identify why some employees cannot apply learned knowledge in real work situations. Subjects consisted of 217 school foodservice employees who attended a regular sanitary education program under the auspices of the Seoul Gangdong and Gangseo district offices. The sanitary performance was assessed with 5 dimensions (personal hygiene, ingredient control, process control, safety management and sanitary education), and was self-evaluated using a Likert 5 point scale. The data were analyzed using the SPSSWIN Version 12.0 package. The main results of the study showed that according to the general characteristics of middle and high school foodservice employees, 98.2% of respondents were women, and 64.1% of them aged 40-49. A total mean score of 5 items of sanitary performance for middle and high school employees was 4.74. Ingredient control field score was 4.83, process control 4.80 and personal hygiene 4.74. In contrast, the sanitary education field score was 4.56, significantly lower than the total mean score. Safety management field score was 4.71. Verbal education was the main method performed as a sanitary education in schools.

취학전 교육상품의 기대편익에 따른 주부 유형 및 영향 요인 (Housewives' Types Classified by Benefits Sou인t of Preschool Child Education Commodity)

  • The purposes of this study are to classify housewives based on their perception of benefits sought of preschool child education commodity and to identify the characteristics of each type. For empirical analysis, the data for this study were collected from 400 full-time housewives with preschool child living in Seoul. The statistical methods adopted fur data analysis are cluster analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test and discriminant analysis. The major findings of this study are as follows : First, four housewives' types can be categorized by the level of those 3 dimensions. The name fur the types was given as 'sticking to one's belief type', 'taking importance to early stimulation type' 'conforming to and imitating others type', and 'believing blindly in education commodity type'. Second, the result of discriminant analysis shows that 'housewives' education level and their education-related values' element was the most crucial in classifying the housewives, and 'considering child's characteristics and educational home environment' element was the next. The results of this study suggest several implications fur the education of parents with preschool child. Parents' education programs differentiated by the objects and the problems should be developed : which are suitable for each housewives' type.

New Approaches to Quality Monitoring of Higher Education in the Process of Distance Learning

  • The article identifies the problem of monitoring the quality of higher education in three main areas, which are comparative pedagogical systems of education. The first direction is determined by dissertation works, the second - monographs and textbooks, and the third reveals scientific periodicals. According to its internal structure, monitoring the quality of education combines important management components identified in the article (analysis, evaluation and forecasting of processes in education; a set of methods for tracking processes in education; collecting and processing information to prepare recommendations for research processes and make necessary adjustments). Depending on the objectives, three areas of monitoring are identified: informational (involves the accumulation, structuring and dissemination of information), basic (aimed at identifying new problems and threats before they are realized at the management level), problematic (clarification of patterns, processes, hazards, those problems that are known and significant from the point of view of management). According to its internal structure, monitoring the quality of education combines the following important management components: analysis, evaluation and forecasting of processes in education; a set of techniques for tracking processes in education; collection and processing of information in order to prepare recommendations for the development of the studied processes and make the necessary adjustments. One of the priorities of the higher education modernization program during the COVID-19 pandemic is distance learning, which is possible due to the existence of information and educational technologies and communication systems, especially for effective education and its monitoring in higher education. The conditions under which the effectiveness of pedagogical support of monitoring activities in the process of distance learning is achieved are highlighted. According to the results of the survey, the problems faced by higher education seekers are revealed. A survey of students was conducted, which had a certain level of subjectivity in personal assessments, but the sample was quite representative.

CEO Education-Performance Relationship: Evidence from Saudi Arabia

  • The study investigates the association between CEO education and firm performance with a sample of 85 nonfinancial firms listed on the Saudi stock exchange during 2018 applying ordinary least squares method. CEO education is defined by three variables, the level of education, if the degree-granting institution is domestic or foreign, and if the highest degree is in management or other fields of study. Financial performance is measured by return on assets and return on equity. Firm size, age, liquidity and growth are introduced as control variables. The study shows that 58 CEOs of the firms studied are graduates, 38 have obtained their degree from a domestic institution and 44 have a management degree. Graduate CEOs are found to enhance performance. Graduating from a domestic institution influences performance positively. Management degree of CEO does not seem to impact performance. Firm size, liquidity and growth are positively associated with performance. Firm age does not explain performance differences of firms. Results are robust to performance measures. The findings of the study suggest that firms can benefit from a CEO hiring policy that emphasizes on the minimum qualification set as graduation or higher, education from a domestic institution and no undue weight on management qualification.
