Skin and Bone Segmentation Technique Using Dynamic Gaussian Filter Based on High Frequency Components in X-Ray Images (X-Ray 영상에서 고주파 성분 기반 동적 가우시안 필터를 이용한 피부와 뼈 영역 분할 기법)

  • 본 논문에서는 X-Ray 영상에서 발 뼈의 골절 영역을 분석 및 진단하기 위한 전단계로서 X-Ray 영상에서 뼈와 피부 영역을 분할하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 X-Ray 영상의 피부 영역과 발 뼈 영역을 분할하기 위해 가우시안 필터를 적용하여 DOG 영상을 생성한다. 그러나 기존의 가우시안 필터는 정적으로 적용되기 때문에 영상을 촬영하는 부위와 각도에 따라 영상의 특성이 달라지는 X-Ray 영상에 적용하기에 부적합하다. 따라서 부위와 각도에 따라 영상의 특성 변화에 민감하지 않는 동적 가우시안 필터를 제안한다. 실험 결과에서는 제안하는 동적 가우시안 필터와 기존의 정적인 가우시안 필터를 각각 적용하여 생성된 DOG 영상에 대해서 발 뼈 영역과 피부 영역을 분할하고, 효율성을 TPR과 특이도로 분석한 결과, 제안된 동적 가우시안 필터를 적용한 방법이 정적 가우시안 필터보다 평균적으로 TPR는 0.12%와 특이도는 평균적으로 0.36%가 개선된 것을 확인하였다.

  • We have developed an efficient method for the generation of patterned fluorescence images using a protected precursor molecule. The t-Boc-protecting group of a coumarin derivative was readily removed from a polymer film upon irradiation with UV light in the presence of a photoacid generator to provide the original properties of the coumarin. Fine fluorescence patterns were obtained when using this photolithographic method.

  • In an intelligent man-machine interface, it is very effective to support human thinking and to be in communication in some intuitive fashion.   • This paper's purpose i to obtain tracking information of an object using a camera. This system embodies to know tracking information of an object using Kalman filtering. As we use java program, it is possible to make system regardless of operating system, set up the system. We used an comfortable USB port camera everywhere without the capture board. We can use the internet by using the applet and JMF everywhere. We regard the camera as fixed.

  • Gaze detection is to find out the position on a monitor screen where a user is looking at, using the image processing and computer vision technology, We developed a computer interface system using the gaze detection technology, This system enables a user to control the computer system without using their hands. So this system will help the handicapped to use a computer and is also useful for the man whose hands are busy doing another job, especially in tasks in factory. For the practical use, command signal like mouse clicking is necessary and we used eye winking to give this command signal to the system.

  • Support vector machines(SVMs) are known as flexible and efficient classifier of multivariate observations, producing a hyperplane or hyperdimensional curved surface in multidimensional feature space that best separates training samples by known groups. As various methodological extensions are made for SVM classifiers in recent years, it becomes more difficult to understand the constructed model intuitively. The aim of this paper is to visualize various SVM classifications tuned by several parameters in reduced dimensions, so that data analysts secure the tangible image of the products that the machine made.

  • In this paper we proposed a PTZ camera system which automatically detect and track moving objects in the image. Once a moving object is detected the PTZ camera traces it in real-time. We proposed the control system which does not depend on camera focusing functionality but uses the object's center, moving direction, distance and speed. We implemented the system with the TI DM6446 DSP chip. The experimental result shows that the system has excellent performance for high speed vehicles.
