음식폐기물 수거요소 분석 연구 (Estimation of Collection Variables for Food Wastes)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 음식폐기물의 수거에 소요되는 인력과 장비를 파악할 수 있도록 수거요소를 분석하는데 두었다. 이를 위해 수거단계를 기능단위로 분류하고, 수거요소들은 현장조사를 통하여 분석하였다. 실측결과로부터 단계별 요소들을 산정한 결과, 단독주택 인력시간소요량의 경우 3.3인${\cdot}$시, 단독주택 운반속도의 경우 22.4km/시, 2.5톤 차량의 하차시간 5분 등의 산정이 가능하였다. 인력과 장비에 관한 여건을 동일하게 설정하고 2.5톤의 음식폐기물을 수거하는데 소요되는 지역유형별 수거시간을 산정한 결과, 아파트지역의 경우 1회의 수거에 3.03시간이 소요되었으며, 단독주택지역은 아파트지역보다 3배의 수거시간이 요구되었다. 본 연구에서는 1개 지역만을 대상으로 극히 작은 수거회수에 대해 조사한 결과이므로, 대표성 있는 수거요소들을 산정하려면 많은 후속 연구가 필요하다고 본다.

Radiation Exposure Reduction in APR1400

  • The primary contributors to the total occupational radiation exposure in operating nuclear power plants are operation and maintenance activities doting refueling outages. The Advanced Power Reactor 1400 (APR1400) includes a number of design improvements and plans to utilize advanced maintenance methods and robotics to minimize the annual collective dose. The major radiation exposure reduction features implemented in APR1400 are a permanent refueling pool seal, quick opening transfer tube blind flange, improved hydrogen peroxide injection at shutdown, improved permanent steam generator work platforms, and more effective temporary shielding. The estimated average annual occupational radiation exposure for APR1400 based on the reference plant experience and an engineering judgment is determined to be in the order of 0.4 man-Sv, which is well within the design goal of 1 man-Sv. The basis of this average annual occupational radiation exposure estimation is an eighteen (18) month fuel cycle with maintenance performed to steam generators and reactor coolant pumps during refueling outage. The outage duration is assumed to be 28 days. The outage work is to be performed on a 24 hour per day basis, seven (7) days a week with overlapping twelve (12) hour work shifts. The occupational radiation exposure for APR1400 is also determined by an alternate method which consists of estimating radiation exposures expected for the major activities during the refueling outage. The major outage activities that cause the majority of the total radiation exposure during refueling outage such as fuel handling, reactor coolant pump maintenance, steam generator inspection and maintenance, reactor vessel head area maintenance, decontamination, and ICI & instrumentation maintenance activities are evaluated at a task level. The calculated value using this method is in close agreement with the value of 0.4 man-Sv, that has been determined based on the experience aid engineering judgement. Therefore, with the As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) advanced design features incorporated in the design, APR1400 design is to meet its design goal with sufficient margin, that is, more than a factor of two (2), if operated on art eighteen (18) month fuel cycle.

가상공간에서의 대인지각: 면대면 조건과의 비교 및 성차를 중심으로 (Person Perception in Cyber-space: Focused on Comparisons with Face-to-face Communication and Gender differences)

  • 연구 1에서는 세 개의 실험을 통해서 컴퓨터를 매개로 한 조건(혹은 CMC)과 면대면 조건(혹은 FTF) 간 대인지각의 차이를 알아보았다. 피험자내 설계를 이용한 실험 1에서는 4-5명으로 구성된 17개의 집단이 CMC 조건에서 기여입학제 그리고 1주일 후 FTF 조건에서 학부제를 주제로 30분씩 찬반토론을 한 후 Big Five에 해당되는 5개의 성격특질차원에서 대인평가를 실시하였다. 그 결과, CMC보다는 FTF 조건에서 자기지각과 비교해 볼 때 타인평가가 더 긍정적인 경향이 있었다. 지각자간 일치를 제외한 자기-동료간 일치와 메타지각의 정확성도 전반적으로 FTF 조건에서 더 컸다. 피험자간 설계를 이용한 실험 2에서는 동성의 4명으로 구성된 17개 집단이 CMC 조건에서 그리고 또 다른 17개 집단이 FTF 조건에서 학부제를 주제로 1시간 동안 찬반토론을 한 후 실험 1에서와는 다른 5개의 성격특질차원에서 대인평가를 실시하였다. 분석결과, 실험 1처럼 CMC보다는 FTF 조건에서 자기지각보다 타인지각이 더 긍정적인 경향이 있었다. 그러나 지각자간 일치, 자기-동료간 일치와 메타지각의 정확성에서는 조건 간 큰 차이가 없었다. 실험 3은 토론주제가 기여입학제라는 점을 제외하고 실험설계, 각 조건의 집단 수 및 토론시간은 실험 2와 동일했다. 또한, 실험 3의 전반적 결과는 실험 1과 거의 동일했다. 연구 2에서는 가상공간에서 상호작용하는 사람들의 성별구성이 대인지각에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 남-남, 여-여 그리고 남-여로 이루어진 각각 15쌍은 컴퓨터를 통해 30분간 자유롭게 의사소통한 후 자신과 상대방을 Big Five에 해당되는 25개의 성격특질차원에서 평가하였다. 그 결과, 나머지 두 조건에 비해 남-여 조건에서 상대방을 외향성과 호감성 및 교양 요인에서 더 부정적으로 평가했는데, 이는 남학생에 대한 여학생의 부정적 평가에 기인했다. 또한, 자기-동료간 일치는 전반적으로 남-남 조건에서 가장 높은 경향을 보였다. 이러한 연구결과를 CMC와 FTF 의사소통 조건 간의 차이에 기초하여 논의하였다.

코브라과 뱀에 물린 환자에서 코브라 항독소를 사용하여 치료한 1례 (A Case of Cobra Antivenom Therapy in a Patient Bitten by Elapid Snake in South Korea)

  • Elapid snakes have neurotoxic venom which causes diverse neuroparalytic manifestations, including fatal respiratory failure. In South Korea, since elapid snakebites are very rare, the cobra antivenom, which is effective against neurotoxicity, was only introduced recently. Most physicians in South Korea have little experience in the treatment of patients who have been bitten by elapid snakes. A 19-year-old man was brought to the emergency department with sudden diplopia, 1 hour after a snakebite on the left 2nd finger. The patient presented with drowsiness and complained of mild dizziness and binocular diplopia. After 1 hour, he had sudden onset of dyspnea and dysphagia and appeared to be agitated. He was immediately intubated and received mechanical ventilation as he was unable to breathe on his own. A total of 2.5 mg of neostigmine diluted with normal saline was slowly infused, and 1 vial of cobra antivenom was infused for an hour, 5 times every 2 hours, for a total of 5 vials. He slowly recovered self-breathing; on the 3rd day of hospitalization, he showed tolerable breathing and was extubated. He was discharged without any neurological deficits or other complications.

진동(振動)을 이용(利用)한 감자수확기계(收穫機械)의 개발(開發) (Development of an Oscillating Potato Harvester)

  • An oscillating potato digger for power tillers was designed and constructed to evaluate the effects of vibration on potato digging. Changing the levels of amplitude, frequency, and travel speed, 16 combinations of such parameters were tested in the potato field. The measured variables were harvesting loss and damage, and storing loss of the mechanically harvested potatoes. It was observed that the operation of the digger blade was good with amplitude of 12 mm, frequency of 9.67 Hz, and travel speed of 0.87 km/hr. Under these conditions the harvesting loss and damage were 3.18 % and 0.67 % that are very lower than those of 6.83 % and 9.83 % of traditional harvesting method. The operating efficiency of the experimental digger under optimum operating conditions was about 552 $m^2$ per hour which was about 20 times higher than 27.2 $m^2$ per man per hour of traditional harvest.

  • Effects of pulse-plating on the wear and corrosion resistance of chrome-carbon layers were studied. The plating were carried out at $06A/\textrm{cm}^2$ in modified Sargent bath containing formic acid at $53^{\circ}C$. The chrome layer were super-saturated with carbon up to 2.0wt. %, which precipitated as chrome carbide such as $Cr_{23}C_6$ after vacuum aging above $200^{\circ}C$ for 1 hour. This resulted in improvement of hardness and wear resistance of the chrome layer. Considering the reduction of corrosion resistance due to the thermal effect, optimum vacuum aging condition of the chrome layer in this study was I-hour at $200^{\circ}C$.

인공지능 기반 소프트웨어 개발 비용 산정에 관한 소요 공수 예측 모형 (Man-hours Prediction Model for Estimating the Development Cost of AI-Based Software)

  • 인공지능 소프트웨어 시장은 2020년부터 2025년까지 6배 규모로 성장할 것으로 예상된다. 그러나 소프트웨어의 개발 절차가 표준화 되어 있지 않고 비용 산정 기준이 없다. 이에 따라 인공지능 소프트웨어 개발 업체마다 각자의 개발 절차에 따른 투입 공수를 산정하고 이를 개발비용의 근거로 제시하고 있으나 개발업체마다 상이한 개발 절차와 소요 공수의 규모 때문에 품질과 비용에 대한 불신이 커지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 대량의 데이터로 학습을 진행하고 알고리즘을 도출하여 적용하는 인공지능 기반 소프트웨어의 개발단계를 정의하고 개발업체들을 대상으로 개발단계별 소요 공수에 대한 설문을 진행하여 소요 공수를 수집하였다. 수집된 개발단계별 소요 공수간의 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시하여 개발단계별 소요 공수 예측 모형을 도출하였으며, 모형을 실험한 결과, 수집된 소요 공수 대비 92%의 정확도를 보였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 소요 공수 예측 모형은 공수와 비용을 추정하는데 간단하게 활용할 수 있는 도구가 될 것으로 기대된다.

재봉작업 여성근로자의 근골격계 자각증상 (Musculoskeletal Subjective Symptoms in Sewing Female Worker)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the related factor for the prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms among 212 sewing worker. The survey was performed with self-administered questionnaire for the risk factors related to musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs) from August 5 to 7 in 2005. The prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms were 75.8% and the those of the local symptoms were 71.7 % for shoulder, 60.4 % for neck, 35.8 % for arm and 50.9 % for wrist. The risk factors related the self-reported MSDs had not shown in general characteristics. But, there was a significant difference between daily working hour and wrist, working speed and neck, the degree of satisfaction and wrist for work related factor. Also, it was shown the significant difference between chair height and neck, the height of sewing machine and wrist among the space below work station, neck, waist for the prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms. The significant correlation was shown for daily working hour and wrist, working speed and arm, work load and shoulder and the degree of satisfaction and arm for work related subjective symptom. Considering above results, it is suggested the ergonomic design be provided to working hour, the height of chair and work station as well as daily working hour even there is a significant difference for the prevalence of symptoms in each body part for sewing workers.

  • The purpose of this study is to integrate a structural design Process of framed steel structures. It is composed of analysis, design, drafting and construction management. However each step of these works involved with a large amount of data and man hour resources. The aim of this study is to alleviate time consuming efforts mentioned above by integrating the different stage of works. Very successful results have been achieved by setting up a common database in whole process and applying the techniques of knowledge base system.
