제조업 근로자의 스켈링에 대한 행태와 관련요인 (Scaling Behavior of Manufacturing Industry Worker)

  • The study was performed to examine the scaling behavior about dental health. The subjects of this study were 700 workers selected in Daegu. This survey was carried out during 2003. 7. 15 - 2003. 7. 31. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. Distribution of respondent's class was male of $53.5\%, female of $46.2\%, and 30's age of $36.2\%, 20's age of $28.2\%. Concerning about dental health was appeared that female was higher rate than male. also, difference was related in their age, working department and residence. 2. In case of no experience to scaling for past 3 years was appeared that male of $67.6\% was higher rate than female of $56.8\%. The frequency of treat scaling was appeared that $46.2\% of the subjects was treated scaling per year. 3. The root cause of no treatment by regular was appeared that 'high expensive' was most high with $38.0\% and 2nd, 'didn't felt importance' was $24.2\%, 3rd 'lack of spare time' was $20.7\%, the last ranking 'only be frightened' was $14.3\%. 4. Method of learning knowledge about scaling was appeared that male and female were similar with their method of it. knowledge level of scaling was learned by internet were higher in worker of 20's age than any other age. also, other difference was related in school career and residence. Opinion about necessity of scaling answer which need or surely need were similar to male of $67.1\% and female of $72.6\%. 5. As for knowledge of scaling was appeared that male of $94.3\% and female of $87.1\% had corrective knowledge. The right answer was significantly different by ages, school career, working department and residence.

남성 이주노동자의 산업재해 후 삶에 대한 현상학적 연구 (The Phenomenological Study on the Male Immigrant Workers' Lives after Undergoing the Industrial Accidents)

  • 본 연구는 남성 이주노동자들의 산업재해 후 삶의 의미와 본질을 연구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 13명의 남성 이주노동자들을 심층 면담하여 그 내용을 Van Manen(1990)의 체험적 현상학 연구방법으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, 121개의 의미단위를 구성하고, 이 단위들을 압축 및 요약하여 38개의 드러난 주제와 9개의 본질적 주제를 추출하였다. 본질적 주제들은 '이방인에게 가해진 산재병원의 횡포', '노동력을 상실한 잉여인간으로서의 대우', '산재를 당해도 어쩔 수 없는 계급 아래의 계급', '반동적 정서로 살아남기', '익명의 대지에서 호모 사케르로서 살아가기', '이주노동자간의 계층화 전략', '실체 없는 그림자로서의 뿌리', '현실을 벗어나기 위한 몸부림', '내일이 없는 과거에 묶인 현재'이며, 이를 인간의 생활 세계를 구성하고 있는 네 가지 실존범주로 그 의미를 탐구하였다. 이를 바탕으로 이주노동자들의 훼손된 삶의 질을 복원하고, 사회통합에 기여할 수 있는 사회복지적 개입 방안을 제언하였다.

남성 제조업 근로자의 근무형태에 따른 건강 체력 평가기준 설정 (Establishment of standards for evaluation of health related fitness according to the working styles of male manufacturing workers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 남성 제조업 근로자의 근무형태에 따른 건강 체력 평가기준을 제시하는데 있다. 피험자는 K 기관에서 실시한 건강 체력검사를 받은 40, 50대 남성 제조업 근로자 15,329명이다. 건강 체력 요인은 심폐지구력, 근력, 근지구력, 유연성, 신체조성이다. 각각의 요인을 확인하기 위해 최대산소섭취량, 악력, 윗몸일으키기, 앉아 윗몸 앞으로 굽히기, 체지방률을 측정했다. 자료는 SPSS version 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 이원분산분석, T-검정, 일원 분산분석(Scheffe), 백분위 수로 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 제조업 근로자의 건강 체력은 근무형태에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타나(최대산소 섭취량 : F=88.67 (p<.001), 악력 : F=20.09(p<.001), 윗몸일으키기 : F=42.06(p<.001), 앉아 윗몸 앞으로 굽히기 : F=69.44(p<.001), 체지방률 : F=136.75(p<.001)) 건강 체력 항목의 백분위수를 토대로 평가 기준을 설정하였다. 둘째, 최대산소섭취량, 악력, 앉아 윗몸 앞으로 굽히기는 현장직 근로자의 평균값이 사무직 근로자의 평균값보다 모든 연령에서 높게 나타났다. 반면에 윗몸일으키기와 체지방률은 사무직 근로자의 평균값이 현장직 근로자의 평균값보다 모든 연령에서 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 이러한 평가 기준은 국민체력실태조사 기준치와 비교했을 때 많은 차이가 있었다. 따라서 근로자의 건강 체력 평가 시에는 근로자의 근무 형태에 따라 평가 기준을 다르게 적용해야 한다는 것이 확인되었다.

여성근로자의 노동시장 및 작업환경 특성 연구 - 성인지적 비교분석으로 통해 본 - (A Study on Characteristics of Labor Force Participation Rate and Work Environment of Female Workers)

  • The purpose of this study is to review the labor force partitpation rate and work environment characteristics of female workers to provide basic information for establishment and implementation of effective policies related to accident prevention and workers health protection for female workers. It was analyzed employment status, work environment and injuries and illnesses based on economic activity census results, compensation of industrial injury and the second working condition survey. According to economic activity census results, female labor force participation rate has been steadily increased, whereas male labor force participation rate has been decreased since 1970. Industrial accident rate has been declined in male workers but that in female workers has been steadily increased even though male workers were higher accident rate than female workers. It was evaluated that female workers are vulnerable to industrial injuries and illnesses in the aspect of their working environment and employment status. Also, Substantial differences between female and male workers in occupational exposure patterns, occupational disease and occupational environments were observed. Therefore it was recommended that special care programs for female workers such as a specialized monitoring and management program should be introduced in the near future.

성인 남성근로자의 체중감소행동 변화단계에 따른 식생활 지침 실천 양상 및 건강신념 비교 (Comparison of practice of dietary guidelines and health beliefs according to stage of weight loss behavior change among male workers)

  • This study compared levels of health and dietary behavior practices and health beliefs according to the stage of weight loss behavior change of Korean male workers. A self-administered survey questionnaire was collected from 411 male adult workers residing in Seoul, Kyeonggi, Chungcheong region. Practices of health related behavior, including smoking, drinking, exercise, work related physical activity, and dietary behavior according to dietary guidelines were evaluated. In addition, the levels of perceived benefit, perceived barrier, perceived susceptibility, perceived seriousness, and perceived cue to action from the health belief model were measured according to the stages of weight loss behavior change. Significant differences in BMI, level of daily exercise, and practices of dietary behavior according to dietary guidelines were observed among stages of weight loss behavior change. Subjects who were in action/maintenance stage showed a more desirable level of health behavior and health belief model variables, except perceived barrier. Based on the findings of this study, it is suggested that subjects with different stages of behavior change need an appropriate specific nutrition education method and material for improvement of nutrition education efficacy.

중년기 직장남성의 생활스트레스 및 대처행동이 심리적 복지감에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Life Stresses and Coping Behavior of the Middle-Aged Working Men on Their Psychological Well-Being)

  • The study is to investigate how much middle-aged male worker's life stress affect their psychological well-being. The subject group was 223 male workers aged from 40 to 59 with a wife and children. The results are as follows: 1) the middle-aged male workers perceive an economic life stress as a most stressful problem, and mostly use a 'direct-positive' coping behavior(CB) type to settle the stress among 4 stress CB types. 2) Economic life and marital stress, 'indirect-active' and 'direct-active' CB give deep effects on their life satisfaction. 3) The effecting factors on their depression are work stress, marital stress, health stress, a 'direct-passive', an 'indirect-active', an 'indirect-passive' CB and their income. In order to increase their life satisfaction and to decrease their depression, concludingly, it is most significant for them to have a strong marital relationship and actively cope with life stress.

견비통을 가진 남성 제조업 근로자에 대한 수지요법 적용의 효과 (Effects of Hand Acupressure to Male Manufacturing Workers with Shoulder Pain)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of hand acupressure in relieving shoulder pain among male manufacturing workers. Methods: A nonequivalent control group was employed using a nonsynchronized design. Data were collected from two manufacturing plants located in metropolitan area U. The data were analyzed with a ${\chi}^2$-test and an independent t-test to perform a homogeneity test, and with repeated ANOVA measures to perform an hypothesis test using the SPSS 21.0 program. Results: Hypothesis 1 that "the experimental group provided with hand moxibustion would score lower for low shoulder pain than the control group" was supported (F=306.05, p<.001). Hypothesis 2, that "the experimental group provided with hand moxibustion would have a wider range of motion than the control group" was also supported with increased flexion(F=7.73, p<.001), extension(F=7.89, p=.001), abduction(F=21.23, p<.001), and horizontal abduction(F=20.89, p=.028). Hypothesis 3, that "the experimental group provided with hand moxibustion would score lower for quality of sleep than the control group" was not supported (F=56.10, p=.091). Conclusions: Hand moxibustion is effective in relieving shoulder pain for male manufacturing workers, in relieving low shoulder pain and increasing the range of motion.

외상성 기관지 파열 (Traumatic Rupture of the Bronchus - A Case Report -)

  • With the advent of widespread mechanization and high-speed era, the incidence of traumatic rupture of the tracheobronchial tree has been increased considerably. Rupture of the bronchus is an unusual result of nonpenetrating trauma to the chest. This case was a 30 years old male who was a worker in the mine. The patient had sustained a compression chest injury with multiple rib fracture. At the time trauma, he was suffered from dyspnea, hemoptysis and hemopnemothorax of both side were noted. After tracheostomy, corrective surgery was performed with end-to-end anastomosis on the 8th time after trauma. Postoperative course was uneventful and good result of bronchogram with hypaque on the 16th day after operation.

사업장 건강증진 프로그램에 대한 근로자의 건강신념 및 관련요인 (Workers' Health Belief in Health Promotion Programs and Related Factors)

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was to investigate the relationships between worker's health belief in health promotion programs and their demographic, health, and health behavior characteristics. Methods: This study used survey data from 262 small- and large-scale workplaces. The study included 1149 male and female workers who completed the questionnaires. Results: The health belief score increased significantly with age and length of service. Male, married, shift-work, and white-collar workers showed a significantly higher health belief score than female, single, non-shift-work, and blue-collar ones. Workers with disease history, hypertension, or obesity had a significantly higher health belief score. Regular exercise was significantly correlated with the health belief score. When all the variables were included in the model, the health belief score was significantly higher in workers who were married, had a longer length of service, worked in the sales department, were diagnosed with hypertension, exercised regularly, and felt fatigue. Conclusion: The results showed that workplace intervention programs meet more the needs of workers who have a higher health belief score. In addition, given that healthier life style was related to a higher health belief score, further research is required to find how to change health behavior in workers.

기업내부노동시장의 승진과 임금: 성별 차이를 중심으로 (Promotion and Wage in the Internal Labour Market : Sexual Differences)

  • 본 고에서는 한국노동패널자료를 이용하여 승진가능성 및 승진경험에 있어 남녀의 성별격차를 실증적으로 분석하고 승진가능성 및 승진경험이 성별 임금격차에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 있다. 먼저 근로자의 특성과 승진경험과의 관계를 파악하기 위해 logit모형을 추정하고 의태분석을 실시하였다. 다른 설명변수를 통제하였을 때. 근로자가 현 직장에서 승진하였을 확률은 남성이 여성의 2배에 달하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 분석대상을 승진가능성이 있거나 승진경험이 있는 임금근로자로 제한하면 성별 격차가 크게 완화되어 남성의 57.1%와 여성의 44.4%가 승진경험이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 여성 임금근로자의 70% 정도가 승진가능성이 없는 직종에 취업하고 있다는 사실을 반영하고 있으며, 승진가능 직종의 여성 취업확대가 중요하다는 점을 나타낸다. 또한 근속기간의 증가에 따라 남녀 모두 승진경험의 확률이 높아진다는 결과는 여성의 승진을 위해 경력단절 완화가 중요함을 시사한다. Oaxaca and Ransom의 방법론을 사용하여 성별 임금격차를 분해한 결과 인적자원, 거주지역 등의 설명변수가 임금격차의 62 9%를 설명하고 있었다 그러나 설명변수에 승진가능성 및 승진경험을 포함시켰을 경우에는 설명변수가 남녀 임금격차의 69.5%를 설명하였다. 승진가능성 및 승진경험이 성별 임금격차의 13.9%를 설명하여 임금에 미치는 승진의 중요성이 확인되었고. 여성의 경우 승진가능성 및 승진경험의 임금영향력이 상대적으로 높게 추정되었다.
