The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship and the importance of relevant variables among structure, process, and outcome dimensions of nursing department in hospitals. The subject for this study was the registered nurses(N=400) working in medical, intensive care, and surgical units at 5 general hospitals with more than 500beds in Chungnam and Chungbuk. The research design was cross-sectional correlation among the variables based on their self description. The survey instrument was based on eleven structured questionnaires. The data were collected from April 26 to May 26, 1999. The SPSS/PC+ program and LISREL 8.12a program were used to analyze the data. Based on the data collected, the following results were obtained. The relationship among structural, procedural, and outcome dimensions 1. Structural dimension had a relationship with procedural dimension relating to decision-making of caregiving and working conditions, in particular, participation of the problem identification. 2. The extent of participation in decision-making had a relationship with organizational commitment and group effectiveness through the selection process among the total decision-making processes. 3. The structural dimension had a large direct effect rather than indirect effect through decision making processes on organizational commitment and group effectiveness. The relationship of structure, process, outcome dimensions was partially supported by this study. The information obtained from surveys in the field form the basis for the following recommendations for improving organizational effectiveness with in the nursing department in an hospitals. 1) Establishment of decentralized structure, environment, and culture in organizational settings would be desirable so that their members may actively participate in decision-making process. 2) Continuous education and training of nurses with theoretical Knowledge and skill of decision making, practical knowledge, and upright role perception should be highly emphasized for persons in nursing schools and in on-the-job training.

This study examined the effects of courage on happiness and the mediating effects of the decision making ability on the relationship between courage and happiness. The courage Inventory for Young Children (Park & Lee, 2011), The Children's decision making ability Scale (Park, 2012) and the happiness Questionnaire (Kim, 2008) were administered to 220 young children (112 boys, 108 girls, 5 year of age). The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and a sobel test using the computer program, SPSS/PC 21.0. The results were as follows. First, there were significant positive relationships among courage, decision making ability, and happiness. Second, courage was an important factor in predicting the happiness of young children, and the decision making ability had mediating effects on the relationship between courage and happiness.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between mindfulness (K-MAAS), Gratitude(Gratitude Questionnaire, GQ-6), and career decision-making self-efficacy (CDSES-SF) as a factor influencing adults career development. Subjects were 89 adults in cyber university and graduate school. SPSS 23.0 and PROCESS Macro were used for data analysis. As a result, there was a significant correlation between gratitude, mindfulness, and career decision-making self-efficacy. Also, the mediating effect was shown between GQ-6, CDSES-SF, and K-MAAS. The direct effect of GQ-6 and CDSES-SF was found to be a positive relationship, and indirect and total effects were also significant. This suggests that mindfulness is mediated in part by the relationship between gratitude and career decision-making self-efficacy. To improve career decision-making self-efficacy, group counseling and education programs are needed to experience gratitude and mindfulness.
Korea dairy industry has a long and chronic problems to consume raw milk , those are surplus milk and decline the market milk consumption continued about 10 years. This study was aim to propose and to find the solution for dairy industry problems. After WTO system, with the importation of dairy products, domestic milk production has fell into the situation of excess supply and huge inventory of dried milk, the milk powder stocks have increased since 2002. That made a chronic decline milk consumption in Korea. The core of chronic problem of Korea dairy industry is the decreasing in market milk consumption. If they have a settlement of any other way using their raw milk to process and consumption to market milk, there will be a solution to solve the chronic problems in this situation. Especially, that will be a development of small farm scale natural cheese production and consume. This may be lead a situation of increase the raw milk consumption, because natural cheese making needs much of raw milk more than market milk. But there are very low technical level of farmers cheese making status, so they need a cheese making educational program for their commercial level of cheese products. Under these situation, there are needed a way out of educational system for the dairy farmers to obtain the high level of cheese making technology from the trustable and scientific organization. The natural cheese making technique of dairy farmers should be accumulated to get the consumers' solid recognition of high quality of natural cheese as LOHAS(Lifestyle Of Health And Sustainability) foods.
The aim of this study was to explore relations among the decision making style, self leadership and communication competence of visiting nurses. The research design was a descriptive survey study, and 219 people were selected through convenience sampling among the visiting nurses who worked in the 28 community based health care centers. The most frequent decision making style of visiting nurses was a rational style. The scores of self leadership and communication competence of visiting nurses were also showed the highest score when the visiting nurse had a rational decision making style. The statistical significant correlations were found among the decision making style, self leadership and communication competence. The results of this study were useful to develop jop-training programs for visiting nurses to enhance their problem-solving abilities. We suggest more various education programs to increase the visiting nurse's self leadership and communication competence will be implemented and refined protocols according to situations will be developed, too.
The purpose of this study was to examine the conjugal role structure in the purchasing decision process : problem precognition, information seeking and evaluating, final decision, and actually making the purchase, through a survey of the degree of conjugal involvement. The specific objectives were 1) to examine the conjugal role structure and differences at each phase of the decision process in purchasing of residence and twelve durable household consumer goods, 2) to determine the differences between conjugal role structure in each phase of the purchasing decision process and conjugal demographic factors(number of years married, conjugal education level, conjugal occupation, and income). Questionnaires were given to randomly selected husbands and wives in /seoul I October, 1980. data from the 275 responses were analyzed by percentage, mean, and F-test(analysis of variance). The results are as follows : 1) The conjugal role structure for the purchasing decision process of residence and twelve durable household consumer goods was analyzed by percent. It was found that role structure was specialized by the type of item. for instance, furniture and home appliances were purchased by wives; amusement goods and cars were purchased by husbands' and residence was purchased by joint. However, conjugal role structure in the purchasing decision process differed by phased of process : (1) Wives involvement in the phase of problem recognition was greater than their involvement in information seeking and evaluating, but husbands' involvement a in the phase of information seeking and evaluating was slightly greater than their involvement in problem recognition. (2) Husbands' involvement in the phase of making the final decision was far greater than their involvement I information seeking and evaluating. (3) Wives' involvement in the actually making of the purchase was far greater than their involvement in making the final decision. 2) Only one among conjugal demographic factors was significantly related to conjugal role structure. That, is, conjugal role structure in the purchasing decision process showed that the wives' involvement I making the final decision and in actually making the purchase increased with number of years married.
This study examined the relationship between perceived participation in decision making and turnover intention among early childhood teachers and tested whether teachers' organizational commitment was a mediating factor. The subjects were 193 early childhood teachers working in day care centers in the Incheon and Gyeonggi-do areas. All valuables were measured by teacher questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using Manova and Path analysis. The main results of this study were as follows. Firstly, there was a significant difference in perceived participation in decision making, organizational commitment and turnover intention among teachers according to only the type of day care center. Secondly, teachers' participation in decision making was positively related to organizational commitment while both of them were negatively related to turnover intention. Finally, teachers' organizational commitment fully mediated the relationship of participation in decision making to turnover intention. These findings could provide supporting evidence for measures to improve a working environment for early childhood teachers.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among social support, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career decision level in golf majors. For this purpose, a survey was given to a convenience sample of 215 students in universities in Seoul and its metropolitan areas. The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlations, and multiple regression analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows. First, social support had a significant effect on the career decision-making self-efficacy of golf majors. Second, social support had a significant effect on the career decision level of golf majors. Third, career decision-making self-efficacy had a significant effect on the career decision level of golf majors. The results of this study may be helpful to provide empirical evidence on the roles of social supports and career decision-making self-efficacy needed to decide golf majors' career path.

This study attempted to identify the relationship between nursing students' adjustment to college life, stress, and major satisfaction, and to identify the factors that affect career decision-making self-efficacy. The study included 298 nursing students from two universities in the region, and data collection was conducted from April 24 to May 9, 2023. Results, It showed a significant negative correlation between college adjustment and stress, and it was found that there was a significant positive correlation between major satisfaction and career decision-making self-efficacy. Major satisfaction was the predictor variable that had the greatest impact on career decision-making self-efficacy, and the explanatory power was found to be 44.8%. This shows that nursing students with high self-efficacy are satisfied with their majors and adapt well to university life if they choose nursing studies. Therefore, there is a need to develop various career exploration and career education programs to enhance career decision-making self-efficacy.
This study is a one-group pre-post experimental design that investigates the effects of a practice-based learning program with multiple components on the clinical competence of nursing students, and clinical decision-making. From May 4 to 29, 2020, a total of 60 third-year nursing students with no clinical practice experience were divided into two teams and participated in multi-component practice-based education for two weeks each, and the data of the final 51 students were included in the analysis. Following the practicum, there was a significant increase in clinical competence (t=-4.74, p<.001) and self-confidence in clinical decision-making (t=-8.41, p<.001), and a decrease in anxiety related to clinical decision-making (t=2.54, p=.014). The findings suggest that a multi-component, practice-based learning approach for nursing students can enhance their clinical competence, reduce preclincal anxiety and increase confidence in clinical decision-making in patient care.
