하천유지유량 추가 댐방류에 따른 한강유역의 수질 및 수생태계 건강성 변화 평가 (Assessment of changes on water quality and aquatic ecosystem health in Han river basin by additional dam release of stream maintenance flow)

  • 본 연구에서는 SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool)을 이용하여 한강유역 ($34,148km^2$)내 다목적 댐(소양강댐, 횡성댐, 충주댐)의 하천유지유량 추가 방류 모의를 통한 유역의 수질 및 수생태계 건강성 변화를 평가하였다. 추가 방류기간은 수생태계 건강성 조사가 수행되는 봄(4-6월), 가을(8-10월)로 산정하였으며, 방류량은 댐의 기존 방류량에 비례하며 총 방류량이 댐별 고시된 하천유지유량을 초과하지 않도록 산정하였다. 하천 유지유량 방류에 따른 수질(T-N, $NH_4$, $NO_3-N$, T-P, $PO_4-P$) 농도는 봄철에 감소하지만 가을철에는 오히려 증가하는 것으로 모의되었다. 변화한 수질농도 데이터를 기존에 구축한 Random Forest 알고리즘에 적용하여 수생태계 건강성을 평가하였을 때, 유역의 하류에서 모든 수생태계 건강성 지수(FAI, TDI, BMI) 등급이 개선되는 것으로 분석되었다. 가을보다 봄에 하천유지유량 방류에 따른 수생태계 개선의 효과가 큰 것으로 나타났다.

  • This study intends to predict prospective defects and establish the plan of Preventive Maintenance through research and analysis of defect occurrences and their repair costs in the public equipment of ‘H’ apartment house from 1998 to 2001. According to results of the analysis, more than 90% of defects and their repair costs for 4 years of the building have occurred in heating, hot water and water supply equipments. In case of specific classification in each equipment, more than 60% of defects were found at hot water pipes and heating pipes, and their repair costs covered more than 60% of the total defect costs. After two repairs by ‘Preventive Maintenance’ had been performed in the year 1998, total defects and defects of each equipment each yew have increased in number from 1999 to 2001. But total repair costs and repair costs of each equipment have not increased as time has gone by, because repair costs have relationship with the price of materials and labor, the part of defect and the scale of repair.

  • This research aimed to analyze the fundamental properties of cement mortar accompanying the change of the solid contents of the maintenance type PC water reducing agent. As a result of the experiment, it was found that the properties of fresh mortar show a tendency to decrease as the solid contents decreases in the case of flow and air contents, and the decrease width with time is small. It was found that the compressive strength of the hardened mortar has almost no difference due to the change of the solid fraction.

  • 최근 들어 환경생태의 중요성 인식과 풍요롭고 환경적으로 안정된 생활을 영위하고자 하는 국민들의 욕구가 증대하고 있다. 이에 따라 물을 대하는 국민의 요구도 수질 및 수량관리에서 한 걸음 더 나아가 하천의 생태계를 보전하고 하천의 정상적인 기능을 회복시켜 건전한 하천환경 유지에 대한 수요도 증가하고 있다. 이러한 국민의 요구에 부응할 수 있도록 환경유량에 대한 개념을 정립하여 하천관리는 환경유량과 연계하여 취수를 허락하고, 자연에 가깝게 생태계를 보전하고 관리하여야 한다. 우리나라에서 환경유량은 하천관리 측면에서의 하천유지용수 개념으로 도입되었다. 우리나라에서 하천유지용수 산정은 아직도 인간 위주의 용수이용기능을 중점적으로 고려한 것으로 순수한 환경유량의 의미로서 환경생태적 관점에서 정의되고 강조되지 못했다. 환경유량은 하천유지용수에서 더 발전하여 생태계의 건전성 유지에 강조를 둔 새로운 개념으로 전환되어야 한다. 즉, 환경유량은 하천의 기능과 하천이 가지는 본래의 가치를 유지하기 위해 필요한 유량으로 정의하고 이는 각종 경제활동 유지를 위한 용수 공급, 위락, 심미, 수질, 수력발전, 주운 등을 위한 용수와 동일가치 또는 그 이상에서 고려하여야 한다.

LCA를 적용한 하천환경영향평가 방법 (A Method of River Environmental Impact Assessment using LCA)

  • In this research LCA methodology was adapted and analyzed in quantifying estimation of estuarine environment. The analysed objects of estuarine environment were construction methods, facility, and input material into water, and estuarine ecosystem. In this research the function of LCA of estuarine environment was river with the view of controling water, utilizing water, and hydrophilic function. According to the result of research, environmental damage indicator of facility was decreased 346 Pt from 453 Pt at pre-maintenance to 107 pt at post-maintenance. Among raw and subsidiary materials, remicon, stone-netting bag, and pebbles were showing heavy environmental load in the order. Evironmental impact of input material into water system was analyzed from 1,827 Pt environmental load before construction to 1,080 Pt of post-maintenance, and damage indicator was improved at 747 Pt. Water quality was improved from 1,827 Pt (before construction) to 1,080 Pt(after construction), and ecosystem was improved after maintenance. Environmental indicator in ecosystem was analyzed 427 Pt(before construction) to 348 Pt(after construction), and damage indicator of Sumnjingang riverine system was improved as much as 79 Pt. In the conclusion, estuarine environmental monitoring through LCA in the area of facility, input material into water and ecosystem showed that close-to-nature stream was 1,172 Pt better than artificial stream in environmental aspects.

The effects of scour depth and riverbed condition on the natural frequencies of integral abutment bridges

  • The effects of foundation scour depth and riverbed condition on the natural frequencies of a typical cross-river integral abutment bridge have been studied. The conventional operational modal analysis technique has been employed in order to extract the modal properties of the bridge and the results have been used in the Finite Element (FE) model updating procedure. Two tests have been carried out in two different levels of water and wet condition of the riverbed. In the first test, the riverbed was in dry condition for two subsequent years and the level of water was 10 meter lower than the natural riverbed. In the second test, the river was opened to water flow from the upstream dam and the level of water was 2 meter higher than the natural riverbed. The results of these two tests have also been used in order to find to what extend the presence of water flow in the river and saturation of the surrounding soil affect the bridge natural frequencies. Finally, the updated FE model of the bridge has been applied in a series of parametric analyses incorporating the effect of piles' relative scour depth on the bridge natural frequency of the first four vibration modes.

  • Since water leakage and cracks are not the source of serious problems such as long-term lowering of performance and durability of a stricture, including damages to operating facilities of a structure, damages to internal finishing materials, exhibition, and goods, and pollution of residential environment, they might have led to development of positive coping skills; however, an instant loss of lives or property due to earthquake, explosion, typhoon, or a fire was indeed neglected. In these days, repair materials for leakage cannot help but being taken in temporary way without any noticeable countermeasure. This kind of repair is socially criticized many times that is defective construction even if this costs a lot. It was not arrange the standard for construction methods of sealer of injection type for leakage maintenance, even it has been used various type of construction methods for leakage part. In conclusion, we suggest that the construction methods of sealer of injection type for leakage maintenance for leakage to establish the leakage repairing technology as increase of structure demand. Therefore, it would be possible to provide a stage-by-stage solution by developing systematic research activities among the industry, schools, and research institutes to spread maintenance management techniques globally through technical solution to water leakage and cracks, acquisition of structural safety with prolonged durability for life cycle, reduction of water leakage repair expense s, and so on.

  • The recent trend has been consistently raised by the media of educational environment issues such as deteriorated existing school facilities, water-leaks due to the lack of proper maintenance and poor toilet facilities. For the efficient use of the budget to be used for maintenance of school facilities, an effort to extend the life of the facility to the max is needed. However, current maintenance system of school facilities is to deal with the defects after discovered, and consequently the durable period is shortened due to early deterioration of facilities and efficient budget execution cannot be realized. For this reason, the result emphasizes the need to improve maintenance management system of school facilities, and proposes a systematic bill of school facilities maintenance according to expert investigation and correlation analysis through school facilities maintenance-related information that is distributed to a number of laws.

  • 최근 막 구조물의 수요 증가에 따라 막 구조물의 구조 및 재료적 연구의 진행은 막 구조물을 하나의 독립된 구조물로써 인정받을 만큼 활발히 진행되고 있지만, 유지 관리 측면의 연구의 경우 아직까지 이에 미치지 못한 상황이다. 특히 유지관리 측면에의 연구 중 지붕구조의 수밀성 및 누수에 관한 연구는 해외에서 일부만을 다루고 있어 국내 실정에 맞는 유지관리 지표 개발이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 막 구조물 지붕부의 막재 및 접합부, 지붕 형태에 따른 누수취약부에 대해서의 하자 사례 조사를 통하여 누수 요인 및 열화 인자를 분석하였고, 이를 AHP기법을 활용하여 중요도를 부여하여, 막 구조물에서 필요한 유지관리 지표를 제안하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 막 구조물 지붕의 장기적으로 수밀성 확보를 위한 설계 및 시공단계서의 수밀성 평가 지표, 준공 후 사용과정에서의 점검 관리 지표를 제안하였다.
