A design of the PSDG based semantic slicing model for software maintenance (소프트웨어의 유지보수를 위한 PSDG기반 의미분할모형의 설계)

  • This paper suggests a technique for program segmentation and maintenance using PSDG(Post-State Dependency Graph) that improves the quality of a software by identifying and detecting defects in already fixed source code. A program segmentation is performed by utilizing source code analysis which combines the measures of static, dynamic and semantic slicing when we need understandability of defect in programs for corrective maintanence. It provides users with a segmental principle to split a program by tracing state dependency of a source code with the graph, and clustering and highlighting, Through a modeling of the PSDG, elimination of ineffective program deadcode and generalization of related program segments arc possible, Additionally, it can be correlated with other design modeb as STD(State Transition Diagram), also be used as design documents.

  • It has used for Rolling Stock Maintenance a number of maintenance system applied RCM in Railway(Korea Railroad Corporation, Seoul Metro, Korail Airport Railroad Corporation, etc) so far. Some institutions has been using develop Computational System including reliability process. A majority of the system has computerized maintenance work, but it is shown that developed focus on administrator and developer not user. SMRT(Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation) has developed computational system for maintenance in the '90s and saved many data about Maintenance Historical Data. However, this system reached the limits application of this data. Maintenance of computer systems is managed directly by the field staff and to introduce Reliability-centered maintenance SMRT was continually reviewed system development trends and supplement the existing system. To successfully operate RCM program should be gained full support in the whole company and field communicate, secure a reliable data from field and the most important take a patience. Our corporation will operate and develop successful RCM thorough review of these problems in the future.

Integrating Machine Reliability and Preventive Maintenance Planning in Manufacturing Cell Design

  • This paper presents a model for designing cellular manufacturing systems (CMS) by integrating system cost, machine reliability, and preventive maintenance (PM) planning. In a CMS, a part is processed using alternative process routes, each consisting of a sequence of visits to machines. Thus, a level of 'system reliability' is associated with the machines along the process route assigned to a part type. Assuming machine reliabilities to follow the Weibull distribution, the model assigns the machines to cells, and selects, for each part type, a process route which maximizes the overall system reliability and minimizes the total costs of manufacturing operations, machine underutilization, and inter-cell material handling. The model also incorporates a reliability based PM plan and an algorithm to implement the plan. The algorithm determines effective PM intervals for the CMS machines based on a group maintenance policy and thus minimizes the maintenance costs subject to acceptable machine reliability thresholds. The model is a large mixed integer linear program, and is solved using LINGO. The results point out that integrating PM in the CMS design improves the overall system reliability markedly, and reduces the total costs significantly.

  • This traveling wave tube amplifier maintenance system was developed for performance of microwave Surveillance radar traveling wave tube amplification parts, and field operation. The Maintenance system is traveling wave tube amplification part RF output waveform measurement and HVPS Voltage adjustment and a maintenance function are offer. The system was developed as an embedded system base it consisted of Linux os which applied a top-down design and visual technique. Therefore change and easy extension of a system. This paper discussed characteristic of maintenance equipment function, composition, and an employment program.

  • The objective of this study is to develop an improved algorithm for layout problems. Computerized facility layout program was also applied to solve the layout problem in locomotive maintenance workshop. The current facility layout is structured in the large space without considerations of many variable factors. For this reason, effectiveness of layout results in loss on effective space utility. This study is to develop an algorithm in the consideration of importance weight and desirable shape of specific department in the computerized layout planning and quantitative relationship rating between each department was used. Standard process duration of locomotive maintenance workshop was used to select the main activities of locomotive maintenance work. This study could generate more efficient facility layout design to reduce the number of movement frequency and travel distance in maintenance workshop.

Factors affecting on maintenance of exercise among elderly with metabolic syndrome (대사증후군 노인의 운동지속 영향요인)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify factors affecting maintenance of exercise among elderly with metabolic syndrome. In order to achieve this purpose, the study design was used a cross-sectional survey. Study participants were a total of 136 elderly with metabolic syndrome and they completed the questionnaire consisted of outcome expectations, exercise self-efficacy, exercise social support, physical activity environment, and exercise maintenance. The data was analyzed using frequency, $X^2$, t-test, and Logistic regression by SPSS Win 20.0 program. The study results had shown that factors affecting maintenance of exercise among elderly with metabolic syndrome, were gender, outcome expectation, and exercise self-efficacy. This study results indicated that the personal motivation such as self-efficacy and outcome expectation among elderly with metabolic syndrome was the most important factor to maintain their exercise. Therefore, we should consider on developing health promotion program to enhance the personal motivation such self-efficacy and outcome expectation for elderly with metabolic syndrome. In addition, this results would used to develop adequate nursing strategies for taking care them in the community.

  • The maintenance of tunnels is often neglected since tunnels has tendency to become stable with time. The determination of safety of tunnels is a complicated problem. So the role of experienced engineer in the maintenance is very important and development of an expert system which can perform as these engineers has been needed. In this study, an expert system which can determine the safety of tunnels is developed. The developed knowledge base contains the maintenance procedure which is used in KlSTEC(Korea Infrastructure Safety & Technology Corporation). Field test, laboratory test and nondestructive test methods are considered in this knowledge base. Criteria for each item and integrated diagnosis criteria are implemented in the expert system based on literatures and reports. The expert system includes basic inspection. detail inspection and precision inspection. For precision inspection. it has the capacity to exchange the result from numerical analysis by a commercial program FLAC. To verify the expert system. the proposed procedure was compared with an existing tunnel diagnosis report.
