탄소섬유쉬트로 횡구속된 콘크리트 공시체의 압축 거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Axial Behavior of the Concrete Cylinders Confined by Carbon Fiber Sheets)

  • Recently the Carbon Fiber Sheet(CFS) is widely used for strengthening damaged RC structures. Strengthening compression members such as column can increase ductility and strength due to the confinement effect. In this experiment, the behavior of concrete cylinders confined by CFS was examined. The confinement pressure is increased linearly as axial stress is increased in low axial stress, and the confinement effect of CFS was rapidly developed after near maximum axial stress, thus axial strength and ductility was improved. As the ratio of CPS is increased, concrete cylinders failed due to local fracture of CFS. The confinement effect of circular section is more efficient than that of rectangular section. And significant improvement of axial strength, axial strain, transverse strain at failure is observed in circular section. This is because in rectangular section the local fracture of CFS near corner may be occured, thus the strain efficiency ratio must be considered for RC structures with CFS.

  • This paper reviewed the relationship between superior leadership and job stress responses, and the moderating effect of age in maintenance area of air force. Based on the responses from 450 air force maintenance persons, the results of multiple regression analysis showed that transactional leadership has negative relationship with physiological stress response, charisma has negative relationship with psychological stress, and individual consideration has negative relationship with behavioral stress. In moderating effects, age has negative effect on the relationship between transactional leadership and physiological stress response, and age has positive effect on the relationship between charisma and psychological stress response.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the strengthening effect of RC beams with carbon fiber grid. Carbon fiber grid that is very lightweight and stronger than steel reinforcement does not rust or corrode and has a very high resistance to salt. In this study, five real size specimens which are strengthened with different types of carbon fiber grid are tested. With the results of this tests, we found the physical and mechanical properties of carbon fiber grid and polymer mortar which are used to strengthen the damaged or cracked reinforcement concrete beams. we also investigate the strengthening effect of carbon fiber grid on the five flexural test specimens that have cracks.

  • Generally, the analysis of railroad wear data is most effective method for the efficient railway maintenance. The wear of railway track affects loss of rough ride, noise or vibration of train and traveling safety. Moreover as the track is worn away, this promotes destruction of structural mechanism of rail track which can bring about increasing of rail track maintenance cost drastically. For this reason, it is very important and interested research subject to design railway track structure and to analyse train movement mechanism based on systematic analysis of the reasons causing rail wear possible in real field. In this research, for the efficient maintenance, Life Cycle Performance of rail track and maintenance characteristics are computed considering some track components such as track type, contracting type, sleeper type and roadbed type. Time - Wear probabilistic distribution relationship as well as multiple regression analysis based on time, curvature and wear data are computed to predict the service life remainder of railway track and to be adapted to safety assessment.

  • Using the life cycle cost concept, optimum maintenance and retrofit planning for reliable seismic performance is suggested the overall life cycle cost to be minimized including the initial cost, the costs of inspection, repair, and failure. Limit states of the bridges are defined. And failure probabilities are computed through crossing theory. The effect of maintenance and retrofit is represented using the probability of damage detection and event tree analysis. Optimization of maintenance and retrofit planning method proposed from this research was applied to numerical examples. The analysis incorporates the acceleration and site conditions prescribed in the code, and the quality of inspection methods.

  • As a building is getting large-scale, composition and intelligence, it is required the stability of building electrical facilities. And it is very difficult of rapidly repair on a breakdown of building electrical facilities. Therefore high-reliability and efficiency of building safety is required. And thus, this study presents the repair-maintenance support program for preventive maintenance on a builing electrical facilities. This program makes offer some functions, facilities history input mode, checking and result mode. User can be made offer the cause and effect information of facilities-faults by this preventive maintenance program.

  • The $CO_2$ emission can be decreased due to freedom of generator maintenance scheduling(GMS). This paper proposes assessment of $CO_2$ emission considering generator maintenance scheduling(GMS) and evaluates effect of the GMS on $CO_2$ emission. And also, this paper assesses the $CO_2$ emission and the probabilistic production cost simulation of nuclear and thermal power generators considering operation of hydro and pumped generator. The minimum reliability criterion level satisfied production cost minimization function model is used in this paper. The practicality and effectiveness of the proposed approach are demonstrated by simulation studies for a real size power system in Korea in 2010.

서울메트로 차량 유지보수체계 정보시스템의 경제성 분석 (Economic Analysis for Vehicle Maintenance Information System of Seoul Metro)

  • This study attempts to estimate economic benefits in terms of cost sayings and qualitative effects resulting ken implementation of new vehicle maintenance information system. It is widely expected that the effect of new vehicle maintenance information system will be significant in cost savings by information sharing and electronic documentation. To evaluate the economic feasibility of new system implementation, the study conducted seven subsystems case studies on the vehicle maintenance information system of Seoul Metro. Economic benefits are estimated by measuring the time savings, in turn, are calculated into cost savings by multiplying the average wages per hour of employee. The result of case study showed that over the 20 billion Won will be saved owing to new vehicle information system implementation. In conclusion, this study will contribute to the field of practices for the most, in evaluation of the economic benefits resulting from new information system implementation in the railway organization.

  • Line type rigid bearings for Open-Steel-Plate-Girder railway bridges have several problem in service, and they are unstable structurally. Thus, spherical bearings having advanced maintenance capability and device to resistance up-lift are developed and replace the existing ones. A experiment of maintenance for a new placed spherical bearings under real Open-Steel-Plate-Girder bridge is conducted and their good maintenance performance is proved. The dynamic behavior of the bridge is measured and analyzed for the two cases of the existing and replacing bearings. Therefore, the effect of the new spherical bearings on the railway bridge is assessed.

  • This paper presents an activation plan for reliability centered maintenance (RCM) of rolling stock. The KTX is carrying out the maintenance in compliance with RCM. MKBSF, that is one of the reliability indices for KTX, is shown 183,483 km in 2009, whereas it is shown 68,986 km in 2004. It means that the reliability of KTX has been growing every year. It also is result of reliability management activities. KORAIL did not apply RCM until now about the conventional rolling stocks. But KORAIL decided that applies RCM system because of reliability management effect of KTX. In this study, we tried to know an activation plan for the reliability centered maintenance of the conventional rolling stocks.
