C4I Maintenance Priority Decision using Maintenance Metric

  • Systemic management is required at each phase of the C4I system life cycle to achieve information advantage in the battlefield through stable operation of the C4I system under the NCOE. In particular, the maintenance phase is the longest period of the C4I system life cycle, and it is easy to utilize and analyze data such as faults that occur during system operation. However, according to the previous research, the maintenance is evaluated as a phase in which the definition and management of comprehensive indicators are insufficient compared to other phase. In this paper, we propose the method of C4I Maintenance Priority decision using Maintenance metric. As a result of modifying the Naval Tactical C4I System's preventive maintenance cycle according to the priority, the total number of faults is reduced and the maintenance efficiency is improved.

  • Recently the study related to life cycle cost analysis of railway structure consisted of a complex is proceeded covering several range, which is considering the methodology of efficiency and rationalization for maintenance and analysing long-time behavior of the structure of looking at standpoint from asset management and safety. But LCCA(life cycle cost analysis) of railway structure was almost impossible as there were not anything datum for maintenance plan, such as maintenance periods related to each of components(painting and corrosion of steel, and cracking of elements, etc)and maintenance proportion, despite of its 100-year history. According, for collecting data related to railway truss bridge, bridge record cards and testing safety papers, and researching question, etc are surveyed and classified for LCC Analysis. Especially, LCC assessment on the side of assets-maintenance considering about initial cost, maintenance cost, and indirect cost is constructed. Maintenance period and complementary measure rate are very important in maintenance. To decide maintenance period, Baysian updating method is applied.

  • As the importance of building maintenance is being emphasized, studies regarding the efficient building maintenance focus on the evaluation of the maintenance plan, implementation and its cost only while the evaluation of the maintenance performance is nearly ignored. At this point when the importance is placed on the performance design we need to have methods to improve maintenance performance of the buildings in Design Phase. The purpose of this study was to set the design evaluation items to improve the maintenance performance of the buildings. Through the review of the existing literature, we set the concept of the maintenance performance and suggested evaluation items to evaluate the maintenance performance through the analysis of domestic and overseas certification and design guidelines.

안전정보와 보전관리정보를 연계한 Web 기반 지식베이스 진단시스템 구현 (A Study on the Development of a Web Based Knowledge-Based Diagnosis System through a Combination of SIS and MMIS)

  • To keep enterprise's competitiveness on condition of the automatic manufacturing system such as FA, FMS and CIM, all the maintenance problems should be considered seriously in not only production and maintenance but also related industrial safety. As we analyze in the surveys for the maintenance management of domestic enterprises and the causes of Industrial accident, there will be necessity of drawing up countermeasures for prevention of industrial accidents and for ensuring expertise maintenance technologies. Based on these analyses, this study studied the safety information system, maintenance management information system, and the machinery condition diagnosis technique by using of the knowledge-based system under the internet environment. This web based knowledge-based diagnosis system can easily provide not only the knowledge of expert about deterioration phenomenon of industrial robot, but also the knowledge of relating safety and facility on everywhere, everytime. Therefore, when we use this system, it is expected to improve the efficiency of business processes in the production and safety.

컨테이너 터미널 장비의 RAM 향상을 위한 관리 시스템 (Management System for Improving RAM of Equipment in Container Terminals)

  • Equipments in container terminal have a lot of parts, and an equipment breakdown affects the productivity of terminal. In this paper, we develop a maintenance management system for improving reliability, availability and maintainability of equipments in container terminals. The developed system consists of five modules : equipment structure module, equipment operation management module, maintenance control module, spare part control module and data analysis module. The system supports reliability engineers to manage and improve RAM of equipments in container terminals. For example, FMEA, failure state analysis and life distribution parameters estimation are easily or automatically done by the system. This system also provides optimal preventive maintenance intervals by simulation and optimal yearly PM schedules for equipments in container terminal are recommended.

  • With the recent global trends in environmental preservation, the importance of sustainable construction is being highlighted in Korea. In particular, the trend is being discussed about life cycle of the apartment houses in various aspects. However the Korean construction market and housing policy have been increasingly focusing on supplier. Structures become progressively obsolete after a certain period, but their durability can be extended with proper maintenance management. Accordingly, if maintenance management on the structures is made efficiently, waste of construction energy and damage to the environment and economic loss due to early demolition and reconstruction can be effectively prevented.   • 공동주택의 비중이 점차 확대되고, 고층화되는 추세에 따라 공동주택 유지관리의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 이러한 필요성에 의해 최근 기존 건축물의 종합성능 평가모델이 개발되었으나, 업무의 분석이 미흡한 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 공동주택 유지관리 성능평가의 기반이 되는 유지관리 업무를 분석하여 성능평가 대상항목 도출을 목적으로 한다 유지관리 성능평가 후보항목은 기존문헌과 업무체계를 분석하여 도출하였고, 학계 전문가 및 주택관리사를 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 성능평가의 용이성, 체계성을 보완하였다. 최종적으로 결정된 성능평가 대상항목은 운영적 유지관리 성능평가 항목 14개와 기술적 유지관리 성능평가 항목 15개 항목이다.

  • 지난 1-2년간 서울의 강남 재건축 아파트 단지 및 분당, 용인을 중심으로 진행된 주택가격 폭등 현상이 정부의 잇단 주택안정대책 발표 이후 급속히 진정되고 있다. 정부의 강력한 정책의지에 따라 무분별하게 추진되던 재건축사업이 상당기간 침체될 것으로 예상되며 이에 따라 그 대안으로 등장한 리모델링의 활성화가 예상되고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 리모델링에 비해 재건축을 선호하는 경향이 강한 것에는 공동주택의 유지관리에 대한 비효율성으로 인한 문제점도 상당히 작용하고 있다고 보여진다. 이에 본 연구는 전문가를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 이를 AHP 기법을 적용하여 유지관리의 결정식을 제시하였다. 또한 효율적인 유지관리가 될 수 있는 방안을 보수보강 기법 선정, 유지관리 실적의 시스템화, 효율적 관리 체계구축 등을 통해 제시하고 이에 따른 기대효과를 언급하였다. 이를 통해 현재의 유지관리 체계 수립 및 이행 기준을 합리적으로 마련하는데 일조할 것으로 사려된다.
