덴탈유니트의 핸드피스 및 초음파 치석 제거기의 미생물 오염에 관한 연구 (A STUDY ON THE MICROBIAL CONTAMINATION OF DENTAL UNIT AND ULTRASONIC SCALER)

  • The risk of cross-contamination in dental clinic is very high. Those who are engaged in dental clinic are exposed to various microorganisms in saliva and blood of patient. Potential possibility of cross-contamination of patient to patient, patient to dentist, dentist to laboratory technician always exist, which is important in the view of public health. It is well known that microorganisms may cause cross-contamination by suck-back of microorganisms into the water supply line or air supply line of dental unit and sprayed back into the next patient's oral cavity. The majority of microorganisms coming from dental unit are water microorganisms from the main water supply which have colonized the tube within the units and multiplied in the relatively warm and stagnant conditions. The purpose of this study is to measure the extent of microbial contamination of dental unit and ultrasonic scaler, to evaluate that dental unit water supply is suitable for drinking water, and to assess the effect of flushing on reduction of microbial contamination of dental unit and ultrasonic scaler. In the first experiment, water samples(50ml) from 20 dental units and 10 ultrasonic scalers in Seoul National Univ. Hosp. were tested for the presence of coliform. The samples were filtered by membrane filtration technique.(Microfil system, Millipore Co. U. S. A.) The filter was then placed onto MacConkey agar plate and the plates with filter on it were incubated aerobically at $37^{\circ}C$ for 5 days. The colors and shapes of colonies were examined if those were coliform. To verify the presence of coliform, the colonies were inoculated into phenol red lactose broth and incubated aerobically at $37^{\circ}C$ for 2 days. The fomation of gas was observed. In the second experiment, water samples from 20 handpieces, 10 ultrasonic scalers and 30 A/W syringes after 0, 2, 4, 6 min. flushing respectively were taken. $200{\mu}l$ water samples were spreaded on Brain Heart Infusion agar plate and the plates were incubated aerobically at $37^{\circ}C$ for 5 days. The number of colony was counted. The results obtained were summarized as follows 1. The water from dental unit and ultrasonic scaler was not suitable for drinking water. 2. No coliform was founded in dental unit and ultrasonic scaler water supply. 3. The number of colony of dental unit and ultrasonic scaler was highest in the group of o min. flushing(p<0.05). 4. There was no statistically significant difference in the extent of microbial contamination among handpiece, ultrasonic scaler and A/W syringe (p>0.05). 5. The number of colony was lowest in the group of 4 min. flushing, but there was no statistically significant difference among 2, 4, 6 min. flushing groups.(p>0.05) 6. It is recommended to flush dental unit water line for 4 min. after use on each patient.

대두 분말 첨가량에 따른 어육 패티의 관능적.텍스쳐 특성 (Sensory and Mechanical Characteristics of Fish Patties according to the Addition of Soybean Powder)

  • 다양한 기능성을 가지고 있는 대두와 어육이 주재료로 활용되므로 소화흡수율이 높고 맛도 좋을 뿐만 아니라 단백질과 칼슘이 풍부하고, 특히 저칼로리 저지방 식품으로서의 특성 때문에 최근에 들어서 기능성 식품의 응용분야로 주목 받고 있는 것으로 본 연구는 대두분말 첨가량에 따른 생선 패티의 최적화를 위한 연구로 수분, 색도, 텍스쳐, 관능적 특성을 분석하였다. 수분의 함량은 대두분말의 첨가량 증가할수록 수분의 함량과 명도 값은 감소함을 알 수 있었고, 대체적으로 경도 값과 탄력성, 씹힘성, 검성은 대두분말의 첨가량이 증가할수록 높은 값을 나타냄을 알 수 있었다. 관능적 특성에서는 맛, 씹힘성과 질감은 S2가 가장은 좋은 것으로 나타났으며, 종합적인 평가에서도 S2가 가장 높은 평가 수준을 나타나 대두분말 첨가량에 따른 생선 패티의 제조는 S2가 가장 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과로 대두와 어육을 이용한 가공품의 다양성, 기능성 및 고품질화를 위하여 대두 분말을 첨가한 생선 패티를 햄버거 등의 소재로 이용할 수 있다면 햄버거에 대한 평가는 달라져 그 이용도에 새로운 전기를 맞을 수 있으리라 판단된다. 나아가 특별히 건강에 유익한 패티형 대두분말 가공품을 개발하여 패스트푸드에 대한 염려와 햄버거 패티의 질과 건강 위해적인 문제도 해결할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

19세기 웨딩드레스의 미적 특성에 관한 연구 - 신고전주의와 낭만주의를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Aesthetic Characteristics of Wedding Dress in the 19th Century - Focusing on Neo-Classicism and Romanticism -)

  • The purpose of this study is to take into consideration the formative and aesthetic characteristics of wedding dresses that existed during the periods of Neo-Classicism and Romanticism which appeared as a reaction toward Neo-Classicism. The method of the research was mainly focused on precedent research data and general references. Furthermore the data on wedding dresses was mainly collected from British, French, and American library and museum web sites. The result of the research is the following. The Neo-Classicism art, which appeared along with the enlightenment in the beginning of the 19th century, pursues beauty based on associations and imitations of ancient Greek and Roman arts. In addition to aforementioned pursuits, the Neo-Classicism art also pursued universal beauty and social usefulness through law and order. This aesthetic value was also applied to the wedding dresses, so classical beauty, natural beauty and universal beauty were expressed as follows: corsets of the previous era were removed from general clothing and Empire style that imitated natural Greek style became predominant. Also, muslin replaced high quality clothes which were used as the main materials of the dressing during the previous era. Empire style's wedding dress became popular and simple colors and styles of the wedding dress expressed the beauty of the human body and emphasized civility at the same time. Romanticism art and costumes opposed rationalism and pursued sentimentalism. Moreover, it pursued diversity, exotic tastes and accepted diverse reactionism unlike Neo-Classicism's simplification and standardization. These aesthetic characteristic were applied to the wedding dress of this period; wedding dress of romanticism pursued feminine and elegant beauty with "X" silhouettes and various decorations, like general costumes. And they were decorated with a variety of excessive accessories, details and trimmings to express romantic sentimentalism. Exotic tastes which included Chinese, Egyptian, Indian influence and other diverse tastes were expressed through hair style, accessories and patterns of shawl. However, the white color in the wedding dress revealed purity and sanctity which cannot be found from general costumes regardless of whether the dress expressed Neo-classicism or Romanticism. As a formal dress worn during wedding ceremonies, the wedding dresses of the royalty revealed dignity and authority and significantly influenced later wedding dress designs.

콜레스테릴옥시카본화 그리고 (8-콜레스테릴옥시카보닐)헵타노화 이당류들의 열방성 액정 특성 (Thermotropic Liquid Crystalline Properties of Cholesteryloxycarbonated and (8-Cholesteryloxycarbonyl) heptanoated Disaccharides)

  • 셀로비오스 말토오스 그리고 락토오스를 콜레스테릴 클로로포메이트 또는 (8-콜레스테릴옥시카보닐)헵타노일 클로라이드와 반응시켜 완전치환 콜레스테릴옥시카본화 그리고 (8-콜레스테릴옥시카보닐)헵타노화 이당류 유도체들을 합성함과 동시에 이들의 열방성 특성들을 검토하였다. 모든 콜레스테릴옥시카본화 유도체들(CH1DSs)은 쌍방성 콜레스테릭 상들을 형성하는 반면 모든 (8-콜레스테릴옥시카보닐)헵타노화 유도체들(CH8DSs)은 좌측방향의 나선구조를 지니며 온도상승에 의해 광학피치들(${\lambda}m's$)이 감소하는 단방성 콜레스테릭 상들을 형성하였다. 모든 CH1DSs들은 CH8DSs들과 달리 콜레스테릭 상의 전 범위에서 반사색깔을 나타내지 않았다. 이러한 사실은 콜레스테릴 그룹에 의한 나선의 비틀림력은 콜레스테릴 그룹과 이당류 사슬을 연결하는 스페이서의 길이에 민감하게 의존함을 시사한다. CH8DSs들에서 관찰되는 액정 상의 열적 안정성과 질서도 그리고 ${\lambda}m$의 온도의존성은 콜레스테릴 그룹을 지닌 dimer들과 triplet 그리고 (8-콜레스테릴옥시카보닐)헵타노화 다당류들에 보고된 결과와 전혀 달랐다. 이들의 결과를 반복단위 몰당의 mesogenic 단위들의 수와 주사슬의 유연성의 차이와의 관련하에서 검토하였다.

문헌정보학과 WWW홈페이지의 필요성과 준비에 관한 연구- 한국과 북미주 지역 대학을 중심으로 -

  • Nowadays, the World Wide Web (WWW) has become an important resource of timely information for the information-related people such as information scientists, librarians, and students in Library and Information Sciences area. They are information professionals who navigate the information on the internet. Also, they need to be information providers who build a WWW homepage. This paper is a study of the necessity, preparation, and building WWW Homepage files for school of Library and Information Sciences in the age of competition among disciplines. It is particularly focused on the colleges and universities in Republic of Korea (ROK) and North America area. The purpose of this study is to provide various kinds of reference information to prepare a homepage in the future as utilizing information on the internet effectively. Even though a Web page was necessary for a school of Library and Information Sciences to show news, and introduce the purpose of the disciplines and the curriculum of the school, and the professors of a class etc., it was not well-prepared yet in ROK. However, a web page was used well enough and prosperous in North America area (Canada, the United States, and Puerto Rico) comparatively. Those web pages were analyzed and studied to prepare for a good designing of homepages for school of Library and Information Sciences in Korea and for the age of competition among disciplines in this paper. Suggestions for designing a good homepage and guidelines for preparing a best one were studied after both reviewing literature and utilizing experiences by the author who currently serves in the School of Library and Information Sciences in Keimyung University and builds homepage for the school. As a result, the major suggestions are ; premiered, and they are as follows: (1) English version of a homepage is necessary, (2) Provide a multimedia presentation about the nature of a school (3) Incorporate a place to let people make suggestions on the contents (of a homepage), (4) Bear in mind that potential users must be familiar with abbreviations you used, (5) Absolutely do not use abbreviations that may make the content more difficult to understand, (6) Add a feature on the every single page that will take the user back to the main page, (7) Use clear, short and well-structured sentences and remember to divide text into paragraphs, (8) Date with a creation or modification date in the homepage to indicate the updated date, (9) Being a multimedia environment, use colors effectively (the guidelines were also suggested), and (10) Put colleges' name into the title of bookmarks to find out them easily.

국내(國內) 유아복(幼兒服) 브랜드 상품기획(商品企劃) 실태조사(實態調査) 연구(硏究) (A Study on the Merchandising Conditions for Local Infants' Wear Brands)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide for the basic data useful to designing a scientific and systematic merchandising program for infants' wear brands. For this purpose, designer and MD working for 8 local infants' wear brands were surveyed to analyze the conditions of their designing and merchandising of infants' wears. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; 1. Only 3 brands employed MD for their merchandising departments. The average number of clothing designers employed by the subject brands was 3-5, while that of colorists was 1-2, and that of accessory designers was 2-3. On the other hand, the average number of patternmakers employed was about 1, while that of sewer was 4. 2. Many of the sample infants' wear brands tended to collect and analyze the information for merchandising, while most of them relied less on outside planned data. The information source upon which they relied most was 'local and foreign fashion magazine', followed by 'data surveyed by local and foreign department stores' and 'data surveyed for local fabric markets' in their order. Meanwhile, the main color represented 70-90% of the total colors, while the pastel groups accounted for 30-40% and vivid color groups for 40-50%. On the other hand, knit accounted for about 60% of their materials, while woven and sweater accounted for 30% and 10%, respectively. 3. In overall terms, most of brands felt that their brands were preferred as much as or less than their competitive brands, while consumers felt expensive for infants' wears. Namely, most consumers were dissatisfied with the price levels of infants' wears. On the other hand, consumers were found to favor the pastel color groups a little more, while being aware of each brand's sizes more or less precisely. 4. The medium upon which the infants' wear brands depended most for their advertisement was 'magazine', followed by 'radio' and 'catalogue' in their order. Most of them were analyzing the results of their sale turnover monthly or frequently in order to review their sales performances in comparison with their competitors. Most of brands bothered to program a sale strategy 4 times a year, primarily to dispose the stocks or find a breakthrough for their sales activities.

모바일 화면에서의 효율적인 메뉴구조 - 유목의 명확성, 깊이수준, 아이템의 수, 공간단서를 중심으로 (Search for the Efficient Hierarchical Data Structure in Mobile Screen)

  • 본 연구에서는 모바일 화면에서의 효율적인 메뉴구조를 탐색해보고자 하였다. 실험 1에서는 유목의 명확성(명확, 불명확)과 깊이수준(2,3,5층), 아이템의 수(32, 64, 128개)에 따른 탐색 과제 수행 시간과 오류수의 차이를 알아보았다. 그 결과 유목이 명확할수록, 깊이수준이 낮을수록 그리고 제시된 아이템의 수가 적을수록 과제 수행 시간이 짧았고 오류를 적게 보였다. 또한 유목이 명확한 조건에서는 깊이수준과 아이템의 수에 따른 과제 수행 시간과 오류 수에 차이가 없었으나, 유목이 불명확한 조건에서는 깊이가 깊은 조건과 아이템의 수가 많은 조건에서 과제수행 시간이 더 많이 소요되었고, 더 많은 오류를 보였다. 실험 2에서는 깊이가 5수준인 메뉴 구조에서 유목의 명확성(명확, 불명확), 아이템의 수(32, 64, 128개), 공간단서 (색, 창, 숫자단서)에 따라 과제 수행시간과 오류수의 차이가 있는지 알아보았다. 그 결과 유목이 명확할수록, 아이템의 수가 적을수록 과제수행시간이 더 적게 걸렸고 더 적은 오류를 보였다. 특히 유목이 불명확한 조건에서는 아이템의 수가 많을수록 더 좋지 않은 수행을 보여 실험 1과 동일한 결과를 보여 주었다. 또한 실험 2의 결과, 그림이나 숫자를 통해 공간단서를 제공하는 것이 탐색 과정에서 발생하는 오류를 줄이는데 도움이 될 수 있음을 보여 주었다.

초임계수에 의한 현사시 목분의 분해특성 및 분해산물 분석 (Characterization of Degradation features and Degradative Products of Poplar Wood(Populus alba${\times}$glandulosa) by Flow Type-Supercritical Water Treatment)

  • 본 연구에서는 연속형 초임계수 분해장치를 이용하여 처리온도 별로 현사시목재의 당화 가능성과 현사시목재 각 성분의 분해특성을 분석하였다. 미세하게 분쇄한 현사시목분을 물의 초임계압력(23MPa) 조건하에서 각각 아임계온도$(275^{\circ}C,\;325^{\circ}C)$와 초임계온도$(375^{\circ}C,\;415^{\circ}C)$에서 각각 2분간 처리하였다. 갈색을 띤 현사시목분의 액상분해산물에는 어느 정도의 미분해 고형분이 포함되어 있었다. 초임계수 분해온도가 높을수록 현사시목분의 분해율은 증가하여 초임계조건인 $375^{\circ}C$에서는 현사시목분의 $94\%$까지 분해되었다. 각 처리조건에서 생성된 환원당량을 DNS법으로 측정한 결과, 처리온도가 상승함에 따라 생성된 환원당량은 점차 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 이는 반응 초기에 생성된 환원당들이 높은 온도의 반응기를 통과하면서 열분해와 유사한 화학적 반응에 의해 더욱 분해되어 퓨란계 화합물로 전환된 것으로 예측되었다. 리그닌의 분해특성을 살펴보기 위하여 액상의 분해산물을 ethylacetate로 추출하여 유기용매 가용부를 GC-MS로 분석하였다. 리그닌의 분해산물은 대부분 페놀성 유도체인 vanillin, guaiacol, syringaldehyde, 4-prophenyl syringol과 dihydrosinapyl alcohol등으로 확인되었으며, 이들의 농도는 처리온도가 상승함에 따라 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 리그닌 분해산물은 리그닌고분자의 주요 결합인 에테르 결합이 높은 온도조건하에서 분해에 의한 것으로 예측되었다.

현대 패션의 미래적 이미지에 관한 연구 (Study on Image of Future in Modern Fashion)

  • The primary goal of this study is to define the future image of modern fashion. By review of many references, this study has examined predictable future in common, various researches on future, and futurism that appeared from art history. This study has also identified the trend of future image and the properties of the image in terms of fashion as well. The purpose of this study is defined as future image of modern fashion. First of all. through a large literature, this study is to examine general future and the study of future, to investigate futurism appears from art history. and to identify the trend of future image and the properties of the image in terms of fashion. The main results of this study include : 1) General future means forthcoming sometime or a state of life at that time, and future is not drawing near naturally in accordance with the passage of time. The future is developed according as which the owners of time have independent meaning and what they select. 2) The futurism had started with the background based on Darwins and Einsteins scientific theories and Bergsons and Nietzsches philosophical thoughts, which was then established by Marinettis Futurism Statement and Dynamism Theory of Umberto Boccionio, Giaomo Balla, Luigi Russolo and Gino Severini. As the purpose of futurism is to represent the dynamism of machinery and the beauty of speed, it has been developed toward op art and kinetic art including video art, laser art, and holography. 3) Fashion style and trend of futurism from the beginning of 20th century up to now can be defined as follows : Firstly futurism fashion represented by loud colors and geometric pattern appeared from 1910s to 1930s in the first place. Secondly, or art fashion and kinetic fashion appeared in 1960s due to the influence of op art and kinetic art which were developmental arts of futurism paintings. Space Look and Cosmo Corps Look that were designed by Andre Courreges, Pierre Cardin, Rudi Gernreich and Paco Rabanne, were also the trend of future image fashion. Thirdly, various materials and techniques developed this future image fashion in 1980s, and Glitter Look and Collage Look were its representative style. Fourthly, in 1990s, human beings dreamed the freedom of mind by human-oriented thought. and created the ecology of new concept mixed with technology due to anxiety on environmental destruction. which influenced on the advent of Zen style.

LED 통신 기반 멀티 홉 오디오 데이터 전송네트워크시스템 (LED Communication based Multi-hop Audio Data Transmission Network System)

  • 본 논문에서는 LED 통신 기반 멀티 홉 오디오 데이터 전송네트워크 시스템을 제안개발 한다. 제안된 시스템의 주요한 기여도 및 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구의 기여도는 LED 통신 기반으로 멀티 홉을 경유하여 오디오 데이터를 장거리 전송이 가능한 전송네트워크시스템을 개발하는 것이다. 둘째, 개발된 시스템의 특징은 전송부에서 오디오 데이터는 S/PDIF 포맷으로 인코딩 되어 보통의 LED로 통해 전송된다. 릴레이에서는 디지털 오디오 신호를 포토다이오드로 데이터를 수신 받아 에러체크 및 증폭을 하여 수신부로 전송한다. 수신부에서는 포토다이오드로부터 받은 인코딩된 오디오 데이터를 디코딩 및 증폭을 하여 아날로그 오디오 신호로 컨버팅을 한다. 제안된 시스템의 성능평가는 형광등이 켜져 있는 실험실에서 진행되었다. 성능평가 결과 제안된 시스템이 홉 간 거리가 긴 멀티 홉 네트워크 환경에서 고음질의 오디오 신호를 효과적으로 전송할 수 있었다. 반면에 사용된 다양한 LED들의 색깔에 따라서 오디오 데이터의 전송 음질에 차이가 있음을 확인 하였다.
