Effects of an Overhead Ground Wire and Surge Arrester in the Railway due to Lightning Strokes (전차선로에서의 뇌격에 의한 가공지선과 피뢰기의 차폐효과)

  • Using the EMTP(Electro Magnetic Transient Program) for the analysis of lightning direct voltage on the railway system, the shielding effects of overhead grounding wire on the railway were studied quantitatively. Installation of overhead ground wire and sap-type arrester such as s-horn provides a 6.6kV HV distribution line with goof protection effects. Even severe lightning induced voltage were create, 6.6kV HV lines can be withstand.

  • 상용화되는 무선 전력 전송 시스템이 점점 더 증가하고 있다. 휴대폰과 같은 모바일 기기의 무선 충전 기술은 이제 자동차에서까지 상용화 제품의 출시가 되기 시작하였다. 이렇게 무선 전력 전송 시스템의 상용화기 진행됨에 따라, 무선 전력 전송 시스템에서 방사되는 전자파에 관한 일반 시민들의 우려도 증가하고 있으므로, 무선 전력 전송 시스템에서 방사되는 전자파를 축소시키는 기술의 연구 개발은 지속적으로 진행되어야 한다. 가장 먼저 무선 전력 전송 시스템의 구성을 소개하였고, 13개의 설계 입력 변수와 17개의 출력 파라미터를 언급하였다. 전자파 노이즈의 방사 원리 및 허용되는 전자파의 세기에 관하여 소개하면서 ICNIRP guideline과 CISPR standard 예제를 다루었다. 마지막으로 무선 전력 전송 시스템에서 방사되는 전자파의 축소 기술에 관한 연구 개발 사례를 다루었다. Electromagnetic shielding, Magnetic-field cancelation, LC filtering, Decoupled inductor, Spread spectrum 등의 기술을 적용하여 무선 전력 전송 시스템에서 방사되는 전자파 노이즈를 효과적으로 축소시킬 수 있으며, 앞으로도 무선 전력 전송 시스템에서 방사되는 전자파 노이즈를 축소시키기 위한 연구 개발이 지속적으로 진행될 것으로 기대한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 코일건의 설계시 자기차폐 효과에 따른 코일건 성능 향상 및 최적화에 대하여 연구하였다. 일반적인 솔레노이드 코일건과 솔레노이드 코일에 자기차폐시킨 코일건의 자기장 분포를 유한요소해석을 통해 비교함으로써 자기차폐를 한 코일건의 자속밀도와 투사체가 받는 힘이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한 자기차폐시킨 코일건을 동일 코일량에 대한 성능 최대화를 위해 솔레노이드 형상을 최적화하고, 그 모델을 실제 제작하여 성능을 검증하였다.

  • 본 논문은 차폐유도형 고온초전도 한류기의 전류제한 특성을 연구하였다. 회로해석은 유한 차분법(FDM)을 사용하였으며 회로 설계의 변수 값에 따라서 전류제한 방식은 저항형과 유도형으로 전류 제한이 이루어짐을 알 수 있었다. 사고 발생 시 나타나는 고온초전도 한류기의 임피던스는 사고 전류를 제한하는 주요한 요소로써 다양한 파라미터 값의 변화를 통하여 고온 초전도한류기의 임피던스 변화와 특성을 관찰하였고, 본 논문에서 설계한 형태의 임피던스 변화에 따른 전류 제한 효과를 저항형 과 유도형 방식으로 제어 가능함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Internal replaceable electronic module substitutions can impact EMC (ElectroMagnetic Compatibility) qualification testing and results if EMC testing is conducted at the cabinet level. The impact of component substitutions on EMC qualification results therefore should be evaluated. If a qualitative evaluation is not adequate to ensure that the modified product will not impact the cabinet level EMC qualification results, a new qualification testing should be conducted. Component level retesting should be conducted under electromagnetically equivalent conditions with the cabinet level test. This paper analyzes the propagation of conducted susceptibility test waveforms in a representative cabinet and evaluates the impact of component substitutions on cabinet level EMC qualification results according to the location of the replacement items. A guideline for a qualitative evaluation of the impact of component substitutions is described based on the propagation of the conducted susceptibility test waveforms. A module level test method is also described based on an analysis of the shielding effectiveness of the cabinet.

  • Physical therapists are exposured to radio-and microwave-frequency electromagnetic radiation by operating electrotherapy units. So there is few protection system in physical therapy room. Clinical pathology room and so on where various kins of electromagnetic instruments is used in hospital while protection failities like protection wall or protection glass is being used only in radiological room to reduce the damage of radiation. Acoording to Larsen's survey on female physical therapist in denmark. it was said that the percentage of congenital malfornation was $3.6\%$ and cadiac malformation made up $0.7\%$. It is likely that effect of electromagnetic fields on the result cannot be ruled out. Rita ouellet-Hellstron and Walter F. Steward insisted that the danger of abortion increase in the case of pregnant femeal physical therapist exposured to microwave diathermy. The intention of our study is arousing the necessity of microwave protection in P.T room and finding the proper method for physical therapist safe. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Each electrotherapy units are occurrenced the electromagnetic fields, and specially amply occurrenced in H.P,I.C.T 2 unit operating, M.W.D unit head on parallel, S.W.D unit head on parallel. all electrotherapy units are operating. 2. There were electric fields mount are consideration to species of electrotherapy units(p<.05). 3. There were magnetic fields mount are consideration to species of electrotherapy units(p<.05). 4. There were electric fields mount are consideration to distance of electrotherapy units(p<.05). 7. There were magnetic fields mount are consideration nut to distance of electrotherapy units(p>.05). 8. Before and after protection on magnetic fields mount are consideration to all distance(0m, 0.3m, 1m, 3m, 5m)(p<.05) 9. Before and after protection on electric fields mount are consideration to 0m, 1m, 3m distance(p<.05), and consideration not to 0.3m, 5m distance(p>.05) 10. After protection fellow the each electrotherapy units. distance, intencity to electromagnetic fields are reduced(p<.05).

  • MWNTs have been widely investigated due to unique properties of such as good electrical conductivity and thermal stability in polymer composites industries. This paper established the procedure to fabricate PMMA/MWNT composites by a modular intermeshing co-rotating twin screw extruder with L/D ratio of 42. The electrical properties of PMMA/MWNT composites with different content of MWNT have been investigated. A sheet resistance percolation was observed at 4 wt% of MWNT for the melt processed composites. Sheet resistance of PMMA/MWNT composite film containing 4 wt% of MWNT was nearby $10^4{\Omega}/sq$ and this shows the possibility of potential application to EMI (Electronic Magnetic Interference) shielding materials. The characteristics of composites were analyzed by TGA, DSC, and SEM. In addition, MFI (Melt Flow Index) has been measured to analyze the rheological property.

  • This study proposes an structure that fixes the shielding device to two parts of the board by its two arranged clips. Said structure evenly distributes its loading/unloading load of the board and maintains the flatness of soldering area of the board. The structure of this study comprises a base part fixed to a printed circuit board and a clip part fixing a side wall of a shield can to the board, wherein the clip part is constituted with two clips fixable to two part of the shield can. Also, the structure of this study comprises a dented groove in order to easily solder the base part of clips and the printed circuit board. A mechanism is established and a design parameter was determined by a structure analysis and a vibration mode analysis. A single purpose machine for the production of the product was developed, the final workpiece was produced and the measuring-data and the computered-data was compared and reviewed.

  • In this paper, the system level EMC radiated emission test results of KoDSat(Korea Demonstration Satellite), its affects upon the Launch vehicle and H/W improving methods regarding its over exceed value of EMC specification are discussed. Regarding its over exceed value, we estimated that DAU of KoDSat generated the exceeded EMC noise source, and these test results were analyzed using the EMC2000 tool to find out how did it affect the FTS(Flight Termination Subsystem) of KSLV-1(Korea Small Launch Vehicle). To diminish the EMC noise source of UHF(430.1Mhz) band level, we redesigned the DAU power board to be applied the various schemes for EMI noise reduction such as grounding, shielding and EMI filtering, and also verified these reworks to analyze its diminishing affects in UHF band level by means of performing the DAU box level EMC test and performing the second KoDSat's system level EMC test.

Analysis for the Effect of EMI Shield Layers' Height on Circuit Function (EMI 차폐막의 높이가 회로의 기능에 미치는 영향 분석)

  • S-parameters were used to analyze the effect of the circuit according to the height of the EMI shield layers. Among the S-parameters, S11, S21, S22, and S31 were used as factors for determining the effect on the circuit function. Simulations were performed using shields made of Graphite and Ferrite, and the frequencies were run from 100 MHz to 1 GHz. As the height of the shield was increased, the value of S21 was getting closer to 0 dB. In addition, the SE value was confirmed to improve the shielding performance according to the thickness of the insulating layer only in a specific frequency band. Based on 800um with thickest silicon dioxide thickness, the FG structure averaged -1 dB in narrow frequency bands between 100 MHz and 300 MHz, showing better efficiency than GF with an average of -2 dB. Although GF structures do not show high efficiency, they exhibit average performance of -3 dB in frequency bands between 100 MHz and 1 GHz rather than FG structures that sway over a wide range. In other words, FG and GF structures have trade-off structures. Therefore, it should be noted that the appropriate structure is selected for use.
