  • To induce perturbed magnetic field variations in the range of auto prescans permitted, we chose artificially shim values and applied manualy as DC offsets to X, Y, Z gradient amplifiers. The STEAM spectra were obtained from a localized region (8ml) of phantom's center and a Marquart Algorithm is employed to quantify MRS spectra. Results indicated that Creatine (Cr) which had a good correlation between a signal intensity and an area, changed little bit and showed extremly a stabilized state in perturbed magnetic field variations. Therefore, during the MRS experiments, to minimize the SNR reduction by means of unavoidable inhomogeneous magnetic fields, the present study suggested that the quantification method of relative ratios produced by replacing Cr concentration with standard quantify was most desirable.

  • 연자성 차폐필름에 대하여 ASTM 방법 및 2-port flanged coaxial line 방법으로 RF (radio-frequency) 영역에서 전자기파 차폐특성을 측정하여 원역장에서의 차폐요인을 정량적으로 분석하였다. 4-13.5 GHz의 고주파 영역에서 연자성 차폐필름의 차폐효과는 반사손실에 의한 효과가 아니라 주로 흡수손실에 의한 차폐효과를 가졌다.

자기장이 열형광선량계의 글로우 곡선에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Magnetic Field on TLD Glow Curve)

  • 방사선을 조사한 시료를 가열하면 시료로부터 흡수된 에너지의 일부가 더 긴 파장의 빛으로 방출되는 것을 이용한 것이 열형광선량계이다. 본 연구의 목적은 피폭선량계로 널리 이용되는 8개의 TLD-100에 동일한 조건에서 열처리와 방사선을 조사하여 자기장을 노출하지 않은 4개와 자기장에 노출시킨 4개를 글로우 곡선을 분석 하였다. 실험 결과 방사선 조사로 포획된 전자가 자기장 노출에 의해 낮은 트랩의 전자들 중 일부는 가전자대의 정공과 결합하여 48%의 피크 면적이 감소하였다. 낮은 트랩의 면적 감소로 인하여 자기장에 노출된 TLD-100은 낮은 선량을 나타내었다. 또한 낮은 트랩의 활성화 에너지는 1.6 eV와 1.5 eV로 나타났다.

  • In this paper, we describe the LPM structure with a two-phase, which is not used previously, and explain its operation principle. In order to predict the accurate performance of LPM reduction model, finite element model was derived and the back EMF of LPM reduction model was measured and compared. In order to investigate the thrust and normal force of the LPM reduction model, a driving circuit capable of applying two-phase pulse currents was constructed and the performance was predicted in conjunction with the finite element analysis model. Finally, the design considering actual LPM size was performed. Since the size of the reduction model is small, the field could be made of a permanent magnet. However, it is almost impossible to manufacture a permanent magnet to match the size and capacity of a real LPM for a vehicle, in terms of cost and writing. Therefore, the actual vehicle LPM was replaced by wound type that generates a magnetic field by applying current to the field winding, and the final model was derived using the reaction surface method.

염산 수용액 거동에 대한 가변 외부 자기장의 적용과 영향: 실험 연구 및 Taguchi 법을 이용한 모델링 (Influence and Application of an External Variable Magnetic Field on the Aqueous HCl Solution Behavior: Experimental Study and Modelling Using the Taguchi Method)

  • 염산 5, 10, 15 wt% 용액(1.5, 3.0, 4.5 M; 석유정 산성화에 사용되는 범위)에 대하여 여러 가지 조건에서 자기장이 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 자화된 염산의 pH 변화를 정상적인 염산과 비교하였다. Taguchi 실험 설계법을 사용하여 자장강도, 농도, 유속, 온도 및 시간의 영향을 모델링하였다. 실험 결과 자화에 따라 염산의 $H^+$ 농도가 42%까지 감소하였다. 자장 강도(기여도 28%), 염산의 농도(기여도 42%), 유속이 커지면 자기장 적용의 효과가 증가하였다. 염산에 대한 자기장의 영향은 용액의 유속과 가열에 의하여 영향받지 않았으며 시간에 따른 자기장 메모리가 유지되는 것으로 나타났다. 최대 $H^+$ 농도 변화에 대한 최적의 조합은 10% 염산 용액 및 4,300 Gauss일 때로 얻어졌다. 자화 과정 중 염산의 반응 속도가 감소하므로 자화된 염산은 탄화수소(원유 및 천연가스)정의 매질 산성화에 대한 대체 지연제로 비용면에서 경제적이고 신뢰성 있는 방법이 될 것으로 제안한다.

마그네틱 기어의 영구자석 부착방법에 따른 영구자석 와전류손실 분석 (Analysis of Permanent Magnet Eddy Current Loss by Permanent Magnet Attaching Method of Magnetic Gears)

  • Recently, there has been an increasing interest in the non-contact power transmission method of magnetic gears. Since there is no mechanical contact, noise caused by friction can be reduced, and even if a sudden large force is applied, the impact of the gear is close to zero. Further, since the power is transmitted by the magnetic flux, it has high reliability. However, there is a problem that a loss due to a magnetic field due to use of a magnetic flux. The loss caused by the magnetic field of the magnetic gear is a joule loss called eddy current loss. In addition, the eddy current loss in the magnetic gear largely occurs in the permanent magnet, but it is a fatal loss to the permanent magnet which is vulnerable to heat. Particularly, magnetic gears requiring high torque density use NdFeB series permanent magnets, and this permanent magnets have a characteristic in which the magnetic force decreases as temperature increases. Therefore, in this paper, the eddy current loss of the permanent magnet according to the permanent magnet attaching method is analyzed in order to reduce the eddy current loss of the permanent magnet. We have proposed a structure that can reduce the eddy current loss through the analysis and show the effect of reducing the loss of the proposed structure.

전자기장을 이용한 준설토 고효율 이송기술 실증 및 기술 지침 개발 (Dredging Material High Efficiency Transport Technology Test by Using the Electro Magnetic Field and Development of the Technical Design Manual)

  • As the research about increasing the efficiency of dredging soil transport, the technology, which reduce the friction between pipe wall and fluid in the pipe and disturbed generating pipe blockage, has been developed. So for the purpose of applying this technology to real construction site, main test has been tried at the real scale test in field. As a test result, this paper will show 30% flow efficiency increasing by permitted electro magnetic force to the pipe. And test result was evaluated as a ultra sonic velocity profiler. To propose the design technique and the execution manual of the high efficiency dredging material transport technic, this research have confirmed flow status changing depending on a soil material kind under electro-magnetic field and analyze the effect of electro-magnetic field which affects to each dredged soil material transportation. For achieving this research, EMF(Electro-Magnetic Field) generator is installed on the dredger(20,000HP) and through monitored flow status, dredging soil flow rate and sampled material specification is confirmed. Also dredger operating condition is measured and dredger power for soil transportation, hydraulic gradient and flow rate are compared, as transportation efficiency is calculated by this parameter, it is possible to check transportation efficiency improvement depending on each dredged soil material under electro-magnetic field. To verify the technique of dredged soil transfer using electromagnetic field, which is the core technique of the high efficiency dredged soil transfer, and the technique of expert system for pipeline transfer and the flow state. This could lead to a verification of transfer efficiency according to the characteristics of the dredged soil (sand, clay, silt) and the transfer distance (5km, 10km, 15km), which is planned to be used for a technology development of pump power reduction and long-distance transfer applying the high efficiency dredged soil transfer technology.

자기 폐회로를 갖는 축형 마그네틱 기어 (Axial magnetic gear with a closed magnetic path)

  • 마그네틱 셔터 기어는 원주상에 마주하는 영구자석 레이어간의 자기장을 고조파 모듈레이터를 통해 동기화시켜 동력을 전달하는 장치이다. 이러한 장치는 기계식 감속기에 필적할만한 토크를 발생시키기 위해 과다한 희토류 영구자석이 이용되기 때문에 본 논문에서는 영구자석간의 자기 경로를 변화시켜 영구자석의 양을 기존 마그네틱 기어 대비 50% 수준으로 감소시킨 새로운 방식의 축형 마그네틱 기어를 제안한다. 제안한 시스템의 토크 크기는 공극 자기장의 고조파 분석과 유한 요소 해석을 통해 기존 시스템과 비교된다. 모듈레이터 두께와 개방비가 전달 토크의 크기에 영향을 미치는 주요 설계변수로 고려되어 민감도 해석이 수행되며 고속측과 저속측의 영구자석 극수에 의해 결정되는 기어비에 따른 코깅의 크기가 분석된다. 기계적인 접촉없이 커플링되어 동력을 전달하는 고속측과 저속측 사이의 동적 지배 모델이 유도된다. 2관성 공진계의 동특성을 갖는 유도된 모델을 기초로 하여 선형 제어기를 설계하여 고속측의 계단 입력 위치 제어를 수행하였다.

The magnetic relaxation of MgB2 powder

  • Magnetic relaxation properties of pure MgB2 powder samples and diluted water-treated MgB2 powder samples were investigated. The magnetic field H-dependence, m(H), and the time t-dependence, m(t), of the magnetic moment m were measured and analyzed using the PPMS-VSM magnetometer equipment, respectively. The m(t) reduction rates of pure MgB2 powder samples and diluted water-treated MgB2 powder samples decreased to about 0.7 ~ 1.8% and 0.6 ~ 1.0% for about 7200 s, respectively, at temperature T = 15 K. The magnetic relaxation properties of the two types of MgB2 powders were analyzed by calculating the magnetic relaxation rate S = -dln(Mirr)/dln(t) values according to Anderson-Kim theory. The magnetic relaxation ratio S values of the two types of MgB2 powder samples were almost similar. As a result of the quantum creep effect, the constant magnetic relaxation rate S characteristic was confirmed at a temperature range of T = 10 K or less.

극저주파 자기장으로 유도한 생쥐의 통각과민에 $\alpha_2$-수용체의 관련성 (Involvement of $\alpha_2$-Receptor in Extremely Low Frequency Magnetic Field-induced Hyperalgesia in Mice)

  • The purpose of this study is to prove how magnetic field (MF) acts on sympathetic neuro-transmissions using thermal response. Mice were divided into two groups and each one was exposed to MF (20 G, 24 hrs) or sham. Every vehicle or drugs were treated a half hour before the thermal response test. The pain threshold was lowered by MF (20 G, 24 hrs) alone. This reduction of pain threshold by MF was not blocked by a single treatment of $\alpha$-receptor antagonist (prazosin), $\alpha$$_2$-receptor agonist (clonidine, guanabenz), $\beta$$_1$-receptor antagonist (atenolol) or $\beta$$_1$,$\beta$$_2$-receptor antagonist (propranolol). But administration of $\alpha$$_2$-receptor antagonist (yohimbine) completely inhibited the decrease in pain threshold by MF. Moreover, it increased by high dose of yohimbine over normal condition. These results suggest that MF acts on sympathetic nerve terminal to induce hyperalgesia, in which pre-synaptic az receptor might be involved.
