다축 서보시스템의 상호결합 제어 (Cross-Coupled Control for Multi-axes Servo System)

  • In this paper, Cross-Coupled Controller proposed for multi axes servo system. Tracking error and contouring error exist when a machine tool moves along the trajectory in multi exes system. The proposed scheme enhances the contouring performance by reducing contour error. Feedforward compensator reduces the effects of a nonlinear disturbance such as friction or dead zone. The proposed control scheme reduces the contour error which occured when the tool tracks the reference trajectory. Simulation results show that this scheme improves the contouring performance along the reference trajectory in XY-table.

  • When the fuzzy controller apply to a real plant, We have not excepted result of a satisfactory control by modeling error and lacking information about an plant. In this case, we have to adjust the scale factors for improvement of the control performance and this method need a lot of time and cost for perform a trial and error. In this paper, we proposed the fuzzy controller with the automatic adjustment of scaling factors. It was improve upon the control performance using a adequate scale factor by fuzzy logic and normalizer. As the results of simulation through the second order plant, we confirmed that the proposed the fuzzy controller within the function of automatic scale get a good response compare with the fuzzy controller within the fixed scale factor.

  • The LQG/LTR controller is a robust and stable control which is systematic method with a view of engineering. And the H$^{\infty}$ scheme is adopted for the design of the controller to reduce the effects of the disturbances. In this paper, LQG/LTR and H$^{\infty}$ Controller Design of Lateral Control System for an Automobile is developed with 3 DOF (degree-of-freedom) model. The performance has been compared for the employed two types of controllers via computed simulations. The results show that the H$^{\infty}$ controller provides more robustness property for the disturbances and lower control input.

  • This paper presents a new approach to the design of neural-fuzzy controller for the speed and azimuth control of a track vehicle. The proposed control scheme uses a Gaussian function as a unit function in the frzzy-neural network, and back propagaton algorithm to train the fuzzy-neural network controller in the framework of the specialized learning architecture. It is proposed a learning controller consisting of two neural network-fuzzy based on independent reasoning and a connection net with fixed weights to simply the neural networks-fuzzy. The performance of the proposed controller is shown by performing the computer simulation for trajectory tracking of the speed and azimuth of a track vehicle driven by two independent wheels.

  • This paper presents a new approach to the design of adaptive control system using DSPs(TMS320C30) for robotic manipulators to achieve trajectory tracking by the joint angles. Digital signal processors are used in implementing real time adaptive control algorithms to provide an enhanced motion control for robotic manipulators. In the proposed control scheme, adaptation laws are derived from the improved Lyapunov second stability analysis method based on the adaptive model reference control theory. The adaptive controller consists of an adaptive feedforward controller, feedback controller, and PID type time-varying auxillary control elements. The proposed adaptive control scheme is simple in structure, fast in computation, and suitable for implementation of real-time control. Moreover, this scheme does not require an accurate dynamic modeling, nor values of manipulator parameters and payload. Performance of the adaptive controller is illustrated by simulation and experimental results for a SCARA robot.

  • The active magnetic bearing system for a TMP consists of four couples of magnets, five gap sensors with its amplifiers and a digital PID controller. For stabilizing and providing damping, digital PID controller is applied for each control axes and the inter-axis cross feedback controller is also applied to suppress low frequency vibration caused by gyroscopic moment of the rotor. Therefore in this paper, a digital controller of magnetic bearing for a TMP is design and examined.

  • Controller refinement scheme to improve the performance of a conventional system automatically in frequency domain is proposed. The controller automatic tuning method features using experimental frequency responses of the conventional closed-loop system the conventional controller, and the improved closed-loop system, instead of poorly modeled plant due to non-linearities and disturbances. The improved closed-loop system characteristics is automatically acquired by the conventional closed-loop system characteristics and the proposed performance index in system bandwidth. And the proper controller is realized by least squares approximation in frequency domain. To testify the usefulness of the approach, the path tracking control of robot arm is performed. Experimental results and analytic results are well-matched.

  • This paper presents the real time control method of 5-axis NC machine for high precision and productivity based on the curvature theory, of a ruled surface. The trajectory, of NC machine is described by, way of a ruled surface generated by the points on part surface and tool axis direction vector. The curvature theory, of a ruled surface is then applied to deter-mine the motion parameters of the 5-axis machine for control. The controller computes position, orientation, and differential motion parameters of the tool in each sampling period. The real-time approach produces smoother surfaces and requires substantially less machining time compared to conventional off-line approaches. The propose real-time control method based of the curvature theory of a ruled surface may give new methodology of precision 5-axis machine control.
